Hey everyone, hope you are all ready for this chapter and sorry for taking so long on it. I was busy with finishing my classes and finally finishing math. I hope everyone is ready for this chapter and will like what I have in store for you all. I appreciate all the support guys and thanks to my friend for his help also I appreciate it.
So last time we had our fight with Zane against Mother Talzin. It went well and now the Rangers have to find a way to prove the Republic's innocence. Will they find it on time or will war break out between the two worlds? Check out the chapter to find out.

Almora part V
Almora
Once the dinner was over the Jedi, General Grievous, and the kids were told to stay in the room, while the others went to the next room for the meeting. The room looks like a court room with two tables for the representatives to sit in and across the room for the royal family to sit in. As they begin taking their seat, Lux look over at the clock nearby and hopes that Rick gets here in time with the evidence. Thankfully, Padme told him that Count Dooku will go first to speak so it should give them time to get what they need.
"This meeting will now come to order," said Tiberous as the meeting begins. "The representatives of the Galactic Republic have come to try their case and show they did not have a hand in the attack against Almora. While the representative of the Separatist, Count Dooku will speak his case to gain the alliance of Almora."
Alexis speaks next for her brother after he sat down. "Count Dooku will speak first to explain why we should form an alliance and once he finishes we will go to the Republic. Keep in mind there will be no interruptions from the representatives of the Republic, while we speak to Count Dooku. Once we finish then we will take a five minute break and then continue with you three. So please, until then do not interrupt."
The three senators all nod understanding the rules. Alexis soon sat down as her father, Ronin speaks next.
"Count Dooku, it was not long ago that your Separatist forces attacked our home world of Almora. Your attack destroyed homes, cities, and even the lives of our people. Now, you come before us expecting us to join you because of what the Republic did. Tell us, why should join you and what can you do to make up for all you have done?"
Count Dooku got up, cleared his throat, and responds to the king's question. "I do not expect you or the people of Almora to forgive us for the attack. Nor do I expect you to trust us, but you must understand in times of war decisions are made to help turn the tide. The attack of Almora was made, but without my agreement. It was made by one of our Separatist leaders, Nute Gunray."
Padme in her mind knew Dooku was lying, but there was no way to prove it. She knew none of the Separatist leaders really had any say in attacking a planet without Dooku's approval. She learned this from Mina when they spoke and how Gunray just agrees with anything Dooku tells him. Looking over she hopes that Alexis and the others aren't going to buy for this lie.
"I find it hard to believe that Nute Gunray made this decision on his own, especially since there were reports General Grievous was involved in the fighting," said Alexis recalling a report her brother made during the fighting. "From what we understand, General Grievous only obeys you and none of the other Separatist leaders."
"General Grievous is the general of the Separatist Droid army, but he does not obey just me. He obeys the other Separatist leaders and any order they give him," Count Dooku lied, but he knew they couldn't prove that was true or not.
Tiberous spoke next having a question of his own to ask the count. "If that is true, then if we were to ally ourselves with you, would you hand him over to us to punish him?"
Count Dooku turns towards the prince and then gave his response. "If we were to form an alliance, then I assure you we would punish him ourselves."
Tiberous sat back in his seat knowing the Sith Lord is lying, but didn't care. He got what he needed from what he said to him.
"Back to the topic at hand," said Ronin trying to get back on the subject. "The question I asked you earlier is why should we join you despite what happened and what can you do to make up for the actions of your followers?"
Count Dooku chose his words carefully and then replied. "We can we offer you is a chance to give your people justice. Justice against the Republic for their betrayal, justice for their attack against you, and justice against your enemies."
"Even if those enemies are the ones you attacked?" Alexis asked knowing no matter what he told them he isn't going to change her mind.
"Perhaps if you gave us the ones responsible for the attacks we may think about it," said Tiberous shocking his sister and the senators. "We cannot forget sister that the Republic also attacked us and our people. Not to mention they did not come to our aid when we were attacked. We should consider all possible options during this meeting."
"Well, I don't have to agree with you on that or anything he says," Alexis replied before Ronin cleared his throat getting the attention of his children.
"We will have time to go over whatever he has to offer us. Right now though, I would like to her more of what else you can offer and what you would want out of this alliance," said Ronin.
Meanwhile
Jake and Rachel waited outside the room with their friends while the guards stood outside the room. General Grievous left after dinner ended to wait in the room, while being accompanied by a group of guards.
Nathan left also to follow them and also make sure General Grievous didn't try anything. He didn't trust him and was worried they were up to something.
As they wait, Jake walks over to Ahsoka to speak to her. "How are you guys holding up?"
"Okay, I guess," Ahsoka replied as she kept her eyes glued on the door. "I just wish we could hear what is going on."
"I agree," said Jake looking over to Barriss who is speaking to Obi Wan. "I guess you haven't had the time to tell him yet?"
Ahsoka looks over at Obi Wan and shook her head in response. "I want to tell him, but at the same time I'm worried if he'll take the news well or not. I trust him, but I wonder if he would lie to the Council like what we're doing."
"From what my parents told me, his master was known to bend the rules from time-to-time," said Jake recalling the stories his parents told them about Master Qui-Gon Jinn. "I'm sure he would keep a secret like his master if he knew how important it is."
"Maybe," Ahsoka knew though right now is not the time to ask him. "Although it won't matter unless Rick gets here with the proof we need to show the Republic is innocent. Where is he anyways?"
"I talked to Rachel and she told me Rick got the sample and got it to Tanaka," Jake explained. "He'll be here soon, but it will take some time. So, we need to wait and hope the meeting goes longer so Rick can get here in time."
"I hope so too," said Ahsoka as she looks up at the time. "I just hope whatever he finds will help us prove the Republic's innocence."
"I know," said Jake who is hoping the same thing, especially to convince his grandfather and uncle the truth. "I guess that's all we can do is wait and see what happen."
They see Rick running towards them carrying something in a bag. "Hey, is the meeting over yet?"
Rachel shook her head in response. "They are just getting started. Got what we needed?"
"Yeah, just waiting for someone," said Rick as Aiko Tanaka came in running, but was out of breath. "I told you to hurry up."
"I don't like running. I told you that," said Tanaka as she turns towards Ahsoka. "Is she a Jedi?"
Ahsoka nods in response. "I am Ahsoka Tano and I take it your Rick's friend that he told us about?"
Tanaka nods in response before extending her hand to her. "I am Aiko Tanaka. It is an honor to meet a Jedi, especially with all the questions I want to ask you and your Order."
"Later, right now we need to go in," said Rachel as she walks towards the door with Rick and Tanaka, but are stopped. "Step aside. We have some information our family needs to see."
"I'm sorry, princess. But we are given orders not to let anyone pass during the proceedings," the guard replied.
"I am giving you an order," said Rachel again with a bit of force in her tone.
"Our orders came from Prince Tiberous, ma'am. I'm sorry, but we will not move or let you in," said the guard again refusing to budge.
Obi Wan noticed this and approaches Rachel. "Is something wrong?"
"Oh Master Kenobi, yes there is something wrong," Rachel motions towards Tanaka who shows him her results. "I analysed this sample that was found hidden inside the Clone soldiers. This sample shows a strange magical substance that kept the bodies of the Clones alive and was controlling them."
"So they were already dead?" Obi Wan asked surprised by these findings.
Tanaka nods in response. "That is why we need to get inside to show the Republic were not behind the attack. I even have proof where it came from."
Obi Wan turns towards the guard and tries speaking to him. "You heard her. You must let us past so our representatives can present this to your king."
"I heard sir, but we have our orders from the prince and we cannot let you pass," said the guard again giving the same response.
Obi Wan knew they had to obey the orders and needed to try something else. So he turns towards Ahsoka's friends. "I don't suppose there is another way in?"
Jake, Rachel, Ahsoka, Barriss, and Tanaka all turn towards Rick thinking he might know. "Well…"
Meeting Room
Count Dooku soon finished speaking to the royal family after the offers he made them. How he will not have a Separatist base be build, how he will give them their own droid army to make in their image to use against the Republic, and several controlled Separatist systems they can have. Alexis did not agree with them, but her brother did and how he seemed interested in the deal. However, her father was not convinced, but that's only if the Republic don't have anything to back up their innocence.
"The five minutes have finished and now it is time for the Republic to give us the evidence of their innocence," said Ronin as he uses his gavel to begin the second part of the meeting.
During the break they had the three senators waited for their friends to come in to bring them the evidence they needed. However, as time ran out they felt that they couldn't find anything and have to find another way to prove their innocence.
Padme elected to speak as she stood up and turns towards the three royal family. "My king, I understand your people are upset and any evidence we prove will not change their minds about what happened before. How we did not come to the aid of your people during the Separatist attack and how many of our own people were upset that you were no longer allies with us. I understand and I am sorry for all that has happened."
The three royal family members listened on as Padme continued speaking and to the apology she is making for the Republic. An apology that Alexis feels is to also help buy them time.
"However, I hope you also see through the lies that our enemies have created to drive us further apart. We have no reason to attack you, we have no reason to fight you, and we have no reason to go to war with you. We are your allies and we wish to make amends, without war breaking out. Please, believe us when we say we are innocent."
"There is no need for conflict to break out. Evidence or not we hope you do believe us so no more lives from both our sides are lost."
Ronin listened well to what she said and took it to heart. However, his son did not take anything she said to anything.
"That is a nice speech, senator. However, if you don't have any proof or evidence to back up your words then that is all they are, just…" Tiberous stops when they hear some noises coming from the ceiling.
Rick and Tanaka are seen falling from the ceiling vent landing on the ground. Tiberous sees this and summons the guards get into the room aiming their weapons at them.
"Stop!" Rachel shouted from the entrance. "We have something to show you. It's proof of the Republic's innocence."
"Get them out of here right now!" Tiberous ordered not caring what they want.
"Belay that order!" Alexis ordered stopping the guards.
"I am in charge of the royal guards and I say get them out!" Tiberous reminded his sister.
"They say they have proof of the Republic's innocence. I say we hear it," Alexis argued against her brother.
"Evidence that is irrelevant since it was not presented by the Republic," Tiberous argued back to his sister.
"Silence!" Ronin shouted silencing the two siblings. "I want to hear this evidence. Please, shot it."
"Father…" Tiberous tried arguing, but his father gave him a stern look and he kept silent.
Tanaka and Rick are let go by the guards as they approach the senators. "We have proof that the Clone soldiers were not in control of their actions. In fact, they were not even alive when the attack happened, show them," said Rick towards Tanaka.
Tanaka gulped when she is told to show what she found, but after getting a reassuring nudge from Rachel she took out her holopad and presents her findings.
"The Clone soldiers all had in their bodies a small magical substance that kept the bodies not only alive, but also had the organic material inside be brought to life as well," she shows an example when she tested it on a small dead creature. "It did not bring the host back completely to life though. The brain was dead, but the rest of the body continued moving on its own."
"Like a puppet," Lux pointed out and gets a nod from Tanaka. "So, who was controlling them?"
"Well, I found the magical substance is a rare one to find nowadays. However, I did match it with a sample we had in our lab that was taken 100 years ago," she shows the two samples and how they both match. "Tracing the origin of the old sample I was able to determine the planet it came from. The planet known as Dathomir."
The name made Count Dooku realize that they were being controlled by the Nightsisters, Mother Talzin. He doesn't know how she survived, but she is alive and it appears is in an alliance with Damien. If this is true then he needs to warn his master about it. Then he will deal with them once and for all.
"With this evidence I conclude that the Republic, who have no knowledge of the magical properties from this planet, are innocent of this crime and the real culprits are the Nightsisters of Dathomir."
Ronin takes a moment to let the evidence sink in before turning before his two children who seem satisfied with the evidence. Well, Alexis is, while Tiberous was not happy with this at all.
"I agree," Ronin stands up and turns towards the senators. "I find the Republic are innocent of this crime and the charges are dropped."
Rachel runs up to her friends and hugs Lux first happy that they got the proof in time. The Jedi and Jake soon came in as the Rangers get together happy that things turned out well.
"Now before I make my decision about you, Count Dooku I wanted to say something to you, Aiko Tanaka," said Ronin turning towards the young scientist who looks nervous. "I am pleased with your findings and I also wanted to say thank you. For what you did I will reward you with whatever you want or need."
"Oh well I don't need…" she then recalls how Rick asked her not to say anything about how she got the sample so they don't get in trouble. "I mean, um I wouldn't mind if I got some assistance for the lab and we get some funding again."
"Again?" Ronin seemed confused by what she meant until he realizes his son had a hand in this. "I see, well I will in fact fund your sector again and it will be supervised by my daughter, Alexis."
Alexis smiles happily and takes responsibility of the lab, while Tiberous looks on with a scowl look that the useless lab he had tried to shut down is not operational again.
"Now, on to you Count Dooku. I am sorry, but it appears there will be no need for an alliance between us," said Ronin as his attention turns towards the Sith Lord. "With that being said. I now ask you leave our planet, immediately."
Count Dooku looks on calm and cool not caring much about what the king said to him. "As you wish, my king," said Dooku as he begins taking his leave with the guards following him.
"He took that too well," said Barriss who didn't like this.
Obi Wan nods in agreement. "Indeed, he is up to something…wait here I'll be back," said Obi Wan as he begins following them.
"Now, get some rest my friends for this meeting is over," said Ronin as he begins to leave with Tiberous, while Alexis joins the others.
"You all did a great job, I'm proud of you all," said Alexis happy with how things went.
"Thanks, but the credit goes to Tanaka for finding what we needed," said Jake giving credit to their friend.
"But, my lady. Rick found the sample and…" Tanaka tried to explain what happened, but Alexis raised her hand interrupting her.
"How we got the samples is not necessary to hear. The results is all that matter," said Alexis as she shakes Tanaka's hand. "Good work, I know your family would be proud of you."
Tanaka smiles happy that she is having her hand shake by Alexis. "T-thank you, my lady and thank you for agreeing to look over my lab."
"Of course, not come with me we have a lot to talk about," said Alexis as they begin to leave.
"We better get going too, but good work Rangers. You all did a great job," said Bail as he begins taking his leave as well.
Padme approaches them and smiles. "He's right. You all did a great job and stopped whatever Count Dooku was up to," however, she noticed the Rangers looked all concerned. "What's wrong?"
"I don't think whatever we did stopped anything. I think they are still up to something," said Jake who could feel something is off. "We just don't know what it is."
Landing Platform
As Count Dooku and General Grievous head to their ship, while also being escorted by the guards they see a black feather nearby on the ground. Dooku knew what it was and stops as the guards stop as well.
"You heard the king. It's time for you to leave," said the guard.
"Oh we will, but first we would like to leave a gift for the royal family," said Dooku as the Tenga Warriors appeared attacking the guards from behind.
Some guards nearby see this and begin attacking, but Grievous charges at them and kills them with his own bare hands. The monster, Warrior appeared destroying the Force restraints on Dooku's wrists and handed his allies their weapons.
"I will keep the Rangers busy, while Torus will join you. You know what to do," said Warrior as he took off to find the Power Rangers.
Dooku looks over to see Torus arriving with more Tenga Warriors. "The guards are tougher than the Clone soldiers. We'll need to end this quick before they get the better of us."
"Indeed," Dooku turns towards Grievous. "Find the royal family and kill them all."
"With pleasure," said Grievous, but is stopped when Obi Wan appeared with his lightsaber ignited. "Kenobi."
"I had a feeling you two were up to something, and it would involve Damien," said Obi Wan as he notices the Tenga Warriors. "Friends of yours?"
"Just some useful pets to deal with my enemies," Dooku motions for the warriors to take off as they begin flying to the palace. "General, destroy him," said Dooku as he walks into his ship as it begins taking off."
Obi Wan looks over noticing Torus who lets out a snorted growl. "I see you're the one called Torus? Tell me, how did you and your master become good friends with Count Dooku?"
Torus begins laughing. "We are not friends, but if we get the chance to cause misery and harm to our enemies then we will put aside our differences. Right, Grievous?"
General Grievous begins laughing as he ignites his two lightsabers. "Indeed and this time you are alone, Kenobi."
"No, he isn't," from the shadows came Nathan as the Green Ranger with his dragon dagger in hand. "Hope you don't mind me joining in."
Obi Wan meets the Green Ranger for the first time and begins to smile. "I don't mind. It will be an honor to work with the man who saved my friends."
"The honor will be mine," said Nathan as he turns towards Torus. "Hey, ugly. Remember me?"
Torus growled in anger recalling how the Green Ranger and that little brat cut off his horn. "I am so glad to see you again, Green Ranger. I am going to enjoy ripping you apart."
"We'll see about that," said Nathan as the two get ready for battle.
There we go the chapter has ended and hope everyone likes this. Again yeah took me a while to get this done since I was finishing up classes, finals, and my other chapters for my other stories. I hope you all liked how this went and will like what happens next time. I will try my best to get more done, but it will take time so be patient.
