"This is all for you Charlie Brown. You've really made it." Linus says as the group is gathered in the assembly room.
"You've worked hard. You earned this." Alexis says.
"It's going to happen. She's finally gonna notice me for doing something great." Charlie says as he looks at the red haired girl before heading towards the stage.
"I told you Linus. He only cares about that girl." Alexis says sadly.
"Alexis..." Linus says.
"Just leave it be Linus. It doesn't matter anyway." Alexis says as she and Linus sit down as the assembly starts.
"Can I please have Charlie Brown come to the stage? It is my pleasure to present to you today this award for the highest achievement in this year's standardized testing. But before I do the school proclamation." Franklin says as Charlie comes onto the stage.
"On this day whereas you have upheld the highest of academic standards and whereas no one would have ever expected that of you and you are the first to ever receive a perfect score. Therefore be it resolved that today is Charlie Brown Day. Signed Miss Othmar." Marcie says as everyone cheers.
"Congratulations Charles. Let me present you with your perfect test." Marcie says as she gives charlie his test.
"Before I begin I'd like to thank all of you for your support. You have all been so kind. It is not often that I get this sort of recognition. But... um there's been a mistake. This is not my test." Charlie says sadly.
"Ha! I knew it!" Lucy shouts.
"Therefore I cannot accept this honor. I think this belongs to Peppermint Patty. She's the real genius." Charlie says sadly as he leaves.
*Timeskip*
"Charlie?" Alexis asks as she and Linus go over to Charlie.
"One moment I'm the hero the next I'm the goat." Charlie says sadly.
"Maybe will go your way again after you hand in your book report." Linus says.
"I'm not so sure. I was up all night working on it and I remember can't a single word." Charlie says as Alexis looks at his report.
"Charlie Brown don't talk that way. From what I can see this is amazing work. Better than the work Linus and I did. You went into a lot more detail and I can tell this book is amazing just from what you wrote. You did a beautiful job." Alexis says.
"Thanks Alexis." Charlie says as he smiles causing Alexis to blush slightly and hand him his paper back.
"Book report? Were we supposed to do a book report?" A voice asks revealing to be the red haired girl.
"Yes. Charlie Brown is your partner for it." Alexis says.
"In light of the fact that you were away Charlie Brown took it upon himself to complete the report for the both of you. And I must say this is one of the finest bits of literary analysis I've ever read." Linus says before the paper goes flying into the air and is shredded by a toy plane.
"No, no!" Charlie shouts as he goes over to the pieces of paper.
"Good grief. Maybe we can fix it?" The red haired girl asks as Charlie gives a sad look and walks off.
