Again sorry guys for taking so long on this chapter. Classes have kept me from getting work on my stories and finding a job has been a pain. Still, thanks to those who left their reviews and the support you give to me for my stories. I appreciate it guys and thanks to my friend for his help.
So last time, the Power Rangers faced off against a new monster who ended up walking out alive after he held his own against the Rangers. We also saw Nathan and Obi Wan working together against Tiberous and General Grievous. We also saw Tiberous in action, while also hinting he knows who the Power Rangers are. What's going to happen now?
Well, check out the chapter to find out and I don't own anything from Star Wars just my OCs, while Tiberous was made by my friend. Enjoy the chapter everyone and hope you like this. And also, Deadpool movie, awesome like Star Wars Episode 7.
Almora part VII
Almora
The next morning, the forces of Almora began cleaning up the damage that was caused last night after they were attacked by the Separatist forces. There were casualties, but no civilians were harmed. The captured Tenga Warriors they had in their custody had disappeared during the fighting, meaning Damien was involved in their escape. Once the fighting was done the king asked for a meeting with the senators and the Jedi to discuss about what happened.
Padme and Bail Organa went to the meeting with Obi Wan, while the others rested up. Tiberous was also not at the meeting himself as he was busy overlooking the reconstruction of the palace.
"Good morning, your highness and good morning senator Nite," said Obi Wan greeting the king and his daughter.
Alexis returns the greeting. "Good morning to you too, Master Kenobi. I trust you all rested up?"
Obi Wan nods in response. "Somewhat. I hope you and your family got some rest yourself after what happened."
Alexis lets out a small sigh. "My children got some rest, but for the rest of us, no. There was too much work to do and we couldn't rest until we know order has been restored."
"Have things gotten bad?" Padme asked hoping everything is not bad.
King Ronin stepped in and tries reassuring the senator all is well. "Do not worry, Senator Amidala. Our people are safe and the damage is minimal. We stayed up late because we were going over what we were going to do about the Separatist. Not only for their deception, but their cowardly attack on our home once again."
Alexis nods in agreement and her expression changed to a serious one. "We have decided we will go to war against the Separatist."
The senators and Obi Wan were not surprised by this decision, especially after what happened. However, the question remains if they would join the Republic or not.
"Alexis, does this mean your planet will re-join the Republic?" Bail Organa asked.
Alexis shook her head in response. "No, but we are willing to assist with giving some resources to help fight against the Separatist. My father though wants to make it clear though we will not be re-joining the Republic. We will fight our own battles when we get our military ready, without any need of the Republic's forces. Meaning no bases build anywhere in our system or any military forces on our world."
Padme turns towards Bail who didn't seem surprised. "I assume this means your forces will not assist the Clone army in the war?" Bail asked.
King Ronin shook his head in response. "We will help free planets near our system from the control of the Separatist, but we will not join our forces together. No offense, but our army are not fond of your Clone army."
Padme recalls Alexis telling her how the soldiers of Almora think the Clone soldiers as mindless drones that will do anything they are ordered to do without question. She knows that isn't true, but it won't change the minds of the soldiers of Almora.
"Very well, we will speak with the Chancellor and see if this agreement can be agreed upon," said Padme as she turns towards Obi Wan. "Do you believe the Council will be okay with this?"
Obi Wan nods in response. "I believe they will and if we do capture Count Dooku, we will bring him to you."
King Ronin nods as he begins to leave, while Obi Wan leaves with Bail Organa. Leaving Alexis and Padme alone, to talk.
"So, are you okay with supplying the Republic with supplies again?" Padme asked towards her friend. "I know you don't trust the Republic, but after what happened, has that changed?"
Alexis sighed and then looks up as she replies. "It doesn't, but I need to do what is best for our people. They want justice and we will provide it to them. However, once we do capture Count Dooku then our alliance will end. And you'll need to finish up this war on your own."
Padme figured as much and understood knowing that once this war is indeed over then there can be peace. "Alexis, thank you for doing this and if you need any help you know I'll be there to help you."
Alexis forms a small smile and then turns towards her friend. "I know and remember…" she approaches her and places her hand on her stomach. "If you both ever need help, I'll be here too."
Padme smiles back and places her hand on Alexis's hand. "I know. I just hope by the time the baby comes the war will be over."
"It will be, I'm sure of it," said Alexis hoping the same thing Padme is hoping for too.
Meanwhile
Tiberous is in his office after getting the report of what happened during the attack and how many soldiers were killed. The number was small, but he didn't care. As long as they got the job done, then that all that matters. He will need to train them some more, especially if they are going to war against the Separatist.
He lets out a small sigh, before pouring some drink into his cup. Looking up at the ceiling, all he could think of is how this is going to go, especially after his little meeting with his enemy.
(Flashback)
"You don't seem surprise to see me," said Damien as he walks around, not concerned about Tiberous holding his weapon. "I take it you knew I was coming?"
Tiberous shook his head in response. "It isn't the first time I came across someone like you before. But, yes. I knew you would show up sooner or later. I'm glad it was sooner so I can kill you."
Damien began to laugh. "I like that attitude of yours. It's the kind of attitude that I am looking for, in an ally."
"An ally?" Tiberous asked, almost laughing at the idea of working with him. "And what makes you think I want to be allied with you?"
"Well, I know you don't because you have some sort of honor or some stupid moral," Damien replied as he stops walking around as he lifts his hand up causing the light to go away. "However, I know that's not who you are. No, I see you as someone that has one desire. A desire that you know you'll never have so long as there is someone standing in your way. Perhaps if you had some assistance I can help you achieve that goal."
A part of Tiberous told him not to listen and just kill him. However, the other part of him was intrigued and curious.
He lowers his weapon, but kept his guard up. "And how can you help me? Or rather, why would you want my help? I thought you had Dooku as your ally?"
Damien chuckled. "Oh, he is just someone I am using to get what I need. You on the other hand, you're much better than him and I could use your help to get my revenge. If you help me, not only will I hand Dooku over to you, but I will help you get you what you've always wanted. The crown….so what do you say?"
Tiberous was silent and thought about what he could be offering. He knew though he should just kill him and that could help him get what he wants, but with how things are going…
"I'm listening."
(End of Flashback)
Tiberous snapped out of his thoughts and remembered what happened next. Damien offered him a deal, where if he helps him, he will help him get the crown and become king. Tiberous was tempted, but he knew better than to make a deal with him. He wanted the power.
He didn't give a damn about the family if Damien wanted to get rid of them so be it, the moment he saw his nephew and niece he realised the side they have chosen. Then there was Nathan, he didn't care what happened to him, but would do it himself. Damien accepted the terms, given to him and the two went over their deal before they came to an agreement. The two shook hands and are now allies.
Looking down at his hand he sees a symbol, which glowed for a few seconds, before it disappeared to remain hidden. Looking out the window he sees the palace being rebuild and his soldiers keeping guard.
"I will show them all, why I should rule and no one else."
Endor
Earlier in the morning, the Power Rangers left Almora to speak with Zane about what happened. He explained that he had fought Mother Talzin, who was the one behind the attack on the moon base of Almora. Barriss Offee explained to Zane who Mother Talzin is and what she is. The leader of the Nightsisters Dathomir. And how it is also the home world of Assajj Ventress, who used to work for the Separatist.
Barriss explained from what they gathered that Mother Talzin was once an ally to Count Dooku and helped create a monster named Savage Oppress. The brother of the Sith Lord, Darth Maul, who had returned and joined with his brother. Zane listened to every bit of what she told him and began recalling gathering information about the Nightsisters. However, he didn't finish his research and went into cryo-sleep.
By the time he woke years ago, they were gone or so he thought. "So, the Nightsisters still lived. They must have been hiding when I met Nathan and the others."
"I thought the Nightsisters were all killed off?" Ahsoka replied recalling what Obi Wan told the Council, after Ventress told him what Count Dooku did to her people. "If they were killed, then how is Mother Talzin alive?"
"Perhaps she used her hocus pocus magic to stay alive?" Rick figured.
"It's possible," said Zane recalling his fight with the witch. "Her magic though has become stronger thanks to Damien and with her by his side then it will make things rather difficult."
"Especially with her working with Damien and Dooku," said Lux who is worried with all three of their enemies working together then it won't turn out well for them.
"Hold on, I thought Ventress told you guys that the Nightsisters turned on Dooku," Rachel recalled as she turned towards her Jedi friends.
"Maybe they don't know," said Jake figuring that must be what is going on. "Damien and Mother Talzin are working together, without Dooku knowing about it."
"Until the trial," said Rick. "Knowing Dooku he will probably confront Damien about this."
"And Damien will lie," said Ahsoka as she lets out a small sigh. "Isn't that right, Zane?"
Zane nods in response. "He will, until he gets what he wants. Once he does then he will betray his allies. What concerns me though is how strong the witches' magic is. If she infuses her magic with the monsters of Damien, then this will make things a little difficult."
"Can't get as difficult as it is now," said Ahsoka hoping things really don't go bad.
"That is why we plan to help you Rangers be ready in case the monsters become too much," Alpha replied as he goes over the new upgrades.
"So, for now get some rest and we'll continue the training tomorrow," said Zane as he prepares to leave, when Jake calls out to him.
"Zane, how does Tiberous know about us being the Power Rangers?"
Zane stopped when he mentioned Tiberous, while the other Rangers began asking the same thing as well. They all had some theories and wanted to ask the parents, but they were busy with everything they didn't want to bother them.
"We know you know something. So could you tell us what is going on?" Lux asked hoping they can get their answer.
Zane turns towards Alpha, who nods his head knowing now is the time to tell them. So Zane took a deep breath and lets out a small sigh.
"You know how your parents, Senator Organa, and a friend of theirs were the Power Rangers," he asked getting a nod from the Rangers. "What I didn't tell you is Tiberous was also a former Ranger himself."
"He was?!" the Rangers asked shocked that Tiberous was once a Power Ranger, like them.
Zane nods in response and turns towards Jake. "In fact, he was once the Red Ranger."
Jake is even more shocked to hear that his uncle was the Red Ranger before him. With the way he has acted for so many years and how he was like with the family, he couldn't believe that was true.
"He wasn't always as cruel and well grumpy as he is now. There was a time he was a good man that worked well with everyone, was a good leader, and did what was right," Zane explained, before he lets out another small sigh when he got to what happened next. "That changed when his younger brother and your uncle, died. His death affected him and caused him to give him being a Power Ranger, while also leaving him how he is now."
"But why?" Rachel asked confused by what Zane said. "I mean, how does losing his brother, our uncle make him how he is?"
"Because he blames me for what happened?" Nathan replied as he walks into the room. "Years ago, your uncle Angelo was a Power Ranger," he turns towards Rick. "In fact, he was the Blue Ranger."
Rick was shocked to hear that Jake and Rachel's uncle, was the former Blue Ranger. "How come no one told me?"
Nathan turns towards Zane, who nods his head in response. "Because of what happened long ago. Believe it or not Tiberous and I were good friends. Ever since we were young we looked out for one another and used to be rivals when we sparred. In fact, when your mother became a Power Ranger, along with her brothers, she asked for me to join them."
"Which he did," Zane continued explaining for Nathan. "However, during that time Tiberous was the leader and did well when it came to leading the team. When Nathan joined the team though, problems began to arise. There were arguments between the two over what they should do during a mission and this lead to problems. Problems that caused the team to be divided."
The Power Rangers listened carefully to the story and couldn't believe how the former team before them were divided. Each were sure it wouldn't happen to them, at least they hope so.
"The problems got worse when during a mission we were trying to stop an enemy and Angelo was killed during the mission. I was blamed by Tiberous for his brother's death and he walked away as a Ranger," Nathan replied, while Zane turns towards him a little confused. "Ever since then he walked away
The Rangers took a minute of silence to let the story sink in. They couldn't believe that was the reason why Tiberous hated Nathan and was like how he is now. Still, they felt there was more to the story, but decided not to push it. Since now, isn't the time to focus on that, until much later.
"Dad, is it possible, Tiberous might reveal who we are?" Jake asked.
Nathan shook his head in response. "The man may hate me, but he wouldn't reveal who any of you are, especially how it would reveal who the previous Rangers were, including himself."
Zane knew that was the truth, especially how if Damien knew who the past Rangers were, he would go after them and destroy them. That way the Rangers wouldn't have backup from any veterans.
"So, what do we do?" Ahsoka asked.
"For now, get some rest and tomorrow we will continue with our training," Nathan replied knowing that is all they can do for now.
"All right, we should get back then," said Barriss knowing they have to return before anyone notices they are missing.
"We'll see you later," said Rachel as they teleport back to Almora, while Nathan stood around concerned.
"You didn't tell them everything about what happened during the mission," said Zane knowing Nathan wasn't being fully truthful.
Nathan sighed knowing that was true. "It is better that they don't know the full truth, especially since know what happened that day."
Zane knew he was right. That day changed everything and how it caused the first team he formed to end up splitting up. "Still, sooner or later we'll need to tell them. We'll also need to talk to Tiberous so we can get passed this."
"I've tried before, but he doesn't listen. He won't even listen to Alexis," Nathan replied knowing even the king can't get through to him. "Not sure if there is anything you can do to get through to him."
Zane knew it will be tough, but he would need to try. "We are at war with Damien and his allies. We'll need all the help we can get."
Nathan nods in agreement and then remembers something he saw during his fight with Grievous. "Hey, do you remember the talk we had about Ahsoka and Barriss's friend, Obi Wan?"
Zane recalls the talk and what he was told during the fighting. "I have something in mind, but for now we need to wait to see what happens and to see if he'll assist us when he is told the truth."
"When will they tell him?" Nathan asked, knowing Ahsoka wanted to tell her friend soon.
"Not yet," Zane replied as he turns towards the Viewing Globe to see it showing the Jedi temple. "For now, we need to wait for the right time to tell him. I can sense he is much like his former master. Trustworthy, loyal, wise, and strong. However, I would like to observe him a little longer before anything can be done."
Nathan nods in agreement. "All right, I'll let them know then and I better get back too. Thanks for everything Zane and if you plan to talk to Tiberous, just let me know."
Zane nods knowing he will need him there just in case. "I will," Nathan soon took off, as Zane looked back at the globe and lets out a small sigh. "The darkness I sensed before has grown since Damien arrived. Despite our victories, it hasn't changed."
"What does this mean?" Alpha asked concerned that they are getting nowhere in this fight.
"I don't know," Zane replied wishing he knew. "But I do know is we need to stop Damien and his allies soon, before things get worse. And from the looks of things, I get the feeling that is going to happen soon."
Rhen Var
Damien is in his throne room, talking to Count Dooku about what happened on Almora. He was disappointed to hear the royal family is still alive, but was pleased to hear that Almora is now once again allied with the Republic, especially how that is what hi master wanted. He was also impressed with General Grievous's new body and how he held his own against the Green Ranger. However, now that Almora is in the war again they must make sure the tide of the war does not turn on them.
"We must keep Almora from being involved in any conflict until we have our forces ready. My master wants you to keep them busy, until then."
Damien nods as one of his robots pours him some wine, into his glass. "I understand. I will keep the people of Almora busy, while you build more of your useful droid army. If I were in charge though, I would make them more lethal to better combat both the Republic's forces and the forces of Almora."
"Well, you are not in charge and there is another matter we need to discuss," said Count Dooku as he brings up something that he found out from Almora. "Why is Mother Talzin, alive?"
Damien figured this was going to be brought up, especially how it was the reason the Republic is not enemies of Almora. "I confessed. I met the witch, because I wanted to use her to get what we needed. Like use the bodies of the Clones and make sure no trace comes back to me. I also wanted to learn a little about the magic she uses, before she outlived her usefulness."
"So, she is dead?" Count Dooku asked trying to sense for any signs of deception.
Damien nods in response. "Alas, she is. She was no longer useful to me, especially in the state she was in. She gave us though what we needed and is now gone. Anything else?"
Count Dooku couldn't tell if he was lying or telling the truth. Ever since they met he couldn't tell if he is using them or if he is telling the truth. He informed is master about this and he knew that if the witch is alive, she would only cause trouble. The last time they dealt with her, she almost killed Dooku off and her magic could pose a serious threat to them if it's in the wrong hands.
Damien, being the wrong hands. However, if he is telling the truth and she couldn't provide him much in the state she was in, then there would be no reason to be concerned. Still, they both know they have to keep an eye on him better. That way he doesn't betray them, before they get their chance to do so.
"Very well, we will contact you on your next mission and see to it that you don't hide anything else from us," said Count Dooku before his hologram was gone.
Damien finished drinking his wine and then tosses it away, causing it to explode. "That old man is lucky my mood is good, otherwise I would strangle him with his own intestine."
"I wouldn't mind seeing that," said Mother Talzin as she appears before Damien, through the green mist. "However, you did promise the young prince he can have the Count."
"Yes, I know," said Damien recalling one of the terms of the agreement he made with Tiberous. "Anyways, is everything ready?"
Mother Talzin nods as a plant female monster appeared. "I have infused, the one called Rose with my magic. Now she will be ready for her assignment and the one called Warrior will join her."
"Good," said Damien as he approaches his plant monster and strokes his face. "How are you, Rose?"
Rose cooed at her master's touch and bowed her head. "I am ready for my mission, master."
"Excellent," Damien replied as a hologram of a planet appeared. "You will go here, find the Clone bases, and take them. I will send Warrior to another planet, which has no bases, but will lure out the Power Rangers. We will cut their forces in half and destroy them from two different worlds. Once they are out of the way, then no one will stop us."
"And you will give me what I want, right?" Mother Talzin asked curious to see if Damien will keep his word or betray him.
Damien turns towards the witch and nods as a robot hands him a glass, then pours the wine in it. "Unlike with Dooku, I have no plan to betray you, my dear. So long as you help me get what I want."
The robot hands Mother Talzin a glass for herself and pours some wine in it. "I have found where she is hidden. Once I am done helping you with your 'guest', then I will free her."
"Good, then to our alliance and to the end of our enemies," said Damien as they lift their glasses and cling them against one another before they take a sip of their drinks.
There we go, with the end of the chapter and I hope everyone likes how this went. I hope everyone liked how this went and with what happened with the aftermath of Almora. Where are we going next time? Well, with the planet monster lady around I think we all know where they are going.
But what will happen when Warrior appears again. Will things go well? Will they be able to stop whatever Damien is up to? Or will things end badly for them?
