All right I am back for the Power Rangers story and sorry guys for taking so long on this. I hope everyone is still interested in this story and will be happy this is back. I decided I will try working on my stories from time to time. Mostly because of the Power Rangers coming out I wanted to get this chapter up and get it going a little.
It doesn't mean I will be updating every week because keep in mind I got work and classes So, trying to balance it out as much as I can. Still, hope you are all ready for this. Also thanks to my friend for his help on this story and I appreciate it.
By the way...LOVE THE FREAKING MOVIE! Brings back so many good memories and has got me wanting to do this story again. Still, keep in mind I will try to get on this when I can. So, please be patient with me.

Two fights on different worlds (Part II)
Coruscant
Ahsoka and Barriss walked over to the hanger bay in the Jedi Temple as they get ready for their mission to Felucia. They received a message earlier about this mission and had hoped to get a day's rest after training. However, the order came from the Council and they have to go now. Still, they are hoping this will be a quick mission so they can come back to rest.
"Did Master Kenobi say how long we would be on the planet?" Barriss asked as she puts her bag on her Starfighter, while her droid began running some tests.
"A few days," Ahsoka replied letting out a small groan. "I am still sore from our training. I was almost tempted to lie and tell them I was not feeling well."
"Lying to the Council might not be a wise idea," said Barriss as she took out her morpher from her bag. "Still, I wish we could have brought the others with us. Why did they say they couldn't come?"
Ahsoka recalled her conversation she had with Jake. Just before they took off and after they received the call to come back for their mission.
Earlier
Ahsoka and Jake were alone in the hallway after they got the call for their mission to Felucia. She was told how Master Plo's forces were weakened and how they have to fall back. She would be joining Barriss and Master Secura's forces to secure the planet. To ensure it doesn't fall into the hands of the Separatist.
It had been a long time since she went back to that planet. Ever since she was kidnapped and hunted down by the Trandoshan hunters. It wasn't a great experience, especially when she couldn't save of the younglings who were trapped on the planet. The Council were still proud about what she did saving the Younglings and defeated the Trandoshan hunters.
Still, she wished things had turned out differently and she did save Kalifa.
"You sure about this mission?" Jake asked as he handed Ahsoka some water.
Ahsoka took the water bottle and drank from it. "No, but I knew eventually I would have to go back. I just hope that it won't go like last time."
Jake couldn't help but smile a little. "I think if any hunters try capturing you they will be in for a big surprise."
Ahsoka smiled softly knowing that was true. If she did get captured again she would use her morpher to fight back.
"Still, I don't need it to kick some butts anyways," said Ahsoka as she handed the water bottle back. "Anyways, what are you guys going to do?"
"Zane wants us to go to Yavin IV. He found out the Republic are going there and wants us to keep an eye out," Jake replied recalling what Zane told them.
Ahsoka turns to Jake with a confused expression. "Keep an eye on what exactly?"
Jake explained how Zane hid a holocron that once belonged to a Sith Lord. He locked it away after several Jedi became influenced by the darkness that came from the holocron. Zane had intended to seal it away somewhere else when the Clone Wars began. However, when Damien came back he didn't have time to find a perfect planet to hide the holocron in.
"He also didn't want the Council to have it since he is afraid they might become influenced by it," said Jake as the two began walking down the hallway. "Appearantly it belonged to a very powerful Sith Lord long ago."
Ahsoka was surprised to hear this and had to agree with Jake. She has never seen a Sith holocron before, but has heard a lot about them. How many do contain knowledge, but also the essence of a former Sith Lord. This has caused even the best of the Jedi to turn to the Dark Side for power.
"Well, just be careful okay and if you do find the holocron don't let it control you," said Ahsoka who is hoping the boys will be able to not be influenced by the holocron.
"We'll be fine and if you guys need any help, contact us," said Jake as the two head to the command room as they prepared to return home.
Ahsoka nods in response and smiles. "Of course and the same can be said for you too."
Present
Ahsoka finished explaining as they got their things in their ships. "So, it looks like they'll have an easy mission, while we have to do the grunt work."
Barriss sighed as she began checking on her ship's navigation systems. "Well, let us hope us this mission will be quick so we can return home and rest."
Ahsoka wanted to agree with what her friend said, but she knew that would be a lie. "Well, if things are bad enough to force Master Plo to retreat, that most likely isn't going to happen."
Barriss knew her friend is right. "I can still hope for it," she gets her astro-droid into the ship as she began turning it on. "Ahsoka, have you informed you're men of the mission?"
Ahsoka nods as she gets R2 into her Starfighter as he began inspecting the ship. "R2 contacted Rex and they are already heading into orbit. What about you and your ships?"
"They are already heading to Felucia to help resupply Master Plo. Let's get going and catch up," said Barriss as the two ships began taking off out of the temple.
Outer-Rim
Out in the Yavin system there is a planet called Yavin IV. It was once home to an ancient race of warriors that lived on the planet thousands of years ago. However, they were wiped out during the war against the Sith. Since then it has been left alone and has not been touched since the Clone Wars began.
A small group of Clone soldiers have been send to the planet along with a Jedi Master to keep an eye on the expedition they have been assigned to conduct. The mission is to help make the planet into a new base. A temporary one until they can find one that can provide resources for them to use.
The group is led by Jedi Master K'Kruhk, a Whiphid from the planet Toola. He volunteered for the mission to get away from the fighting so his men can rest. Master K'Kruhk is one of the surviving Jedi who had first encountered General Grievous and was presumed dead. However, he survived and was able to heal from his near fatal injury. Returning to the battlefield and to his men to continue in the war.
Currently, the Republic send a small group of their soldiers and a Jedi Master to keep an eye on the expedition. Master K'Kruhk is a Whiphid from the planet of Toola. He had his men set up a small camp near some ruins, while he took a look around their base. All while avoiding the temple that was half-way where they are at.
"I don't get why the general didn't have us set up camp in that temple," said one of the Clones as he sets down one of the crates. "I mean, look at it. It's a perfect place for us to set up a base."
"From what I heard the temple was built by the Sith long time ago and the Jedi don't want to go near it," said another Clone as he starts up a generator to power up their equipment. "Besides, it's not like we are going to be here long. They just want us to stick around here until we find a better place to set up a base."
"Sounds about right. This place looks rather boring," said the first Clone as he looks over at the direction where the general is walking. "I got to say when I heard about the general I was expecting him to be…different. Like tough looking and ready to combat."
"The general is a lot tougher looking when he fights. Trust me I have been with him long enough to know that," said the second Clone as he sat down on one of the crates.
"I guess so," said the first Clone as he sat down next to the other Clone. "Is it true he survived a near fatal injury from General Grievous?"
"That's what I heard," said the second Clone as he watches the general walk around their camp. "I heard he went into some sort of hibernation sleep to recover from his injuries. At least that's what he told me. Anyways, just be glad we're not out fighting right now. Just sit back, relax, and enjoy this quiet time before we are send off to fight more droids."
The first Clone sighed as he decided to try taking his friend's advice. "Whatever you say. I just wish we would get some excitement around here."
Meanwhile, far from the Republic team there is the Great Temple that was once used by the Sith. At the top of the temple Jake, Rick, and Lux are at the top keeping an eye on the soldiers. All while avoiding detection so they can get inside the temple. Rick is busy using the scanner that Alpha gave them to find the holocron they have been send to find.
"How's it looking, Rick?" Lux asked as he uses his binoculars to keep an eye out on the Jedi and Clones.
"The holocron appears to be somewhere between the upper and lower levels of the temple," said Rick as he sees where the holocron is at. "My guess is there is a secret room where Zane hid it so it wouldn't be found so easily. Still, we shouldn't have any problems finding it thanks to this scanner."
"Good," began Jake as he finds a way down into the temple. "You and Lux go inside to find it. I'll stay out here and keep an eye on things."
"All right then," said Lux as grabs a flashlight from his bag. "If any trouble happens let us now."
"I doubt there will be any signs of trouble around this place," said Rick as the two begin to descend down the stairs, when one of the steps broke apart almost causing Rick to fall off. "Um I stand corrected."
Hyperspace
Meanwhile, Ahsoka and Barriss are joined by Admiral Yularen as they go over the information they have received from Mastr Plo Koon. It turns out his forces have not yet left the system due what happened when they were trying to evacuate. During the evacuation several of the Clones had begun to turn on them. They also began to mutate and infected other Clones who were trying to stop them.
How this happened is not yet cleared. However, until they can figure out what caused this Master Plo has decided he will not leave the system. He even had the hyperdrive system shut off so they don't spread the infection. They have quarantine the infected Clones that came back with them and are hoping to find the cure to this disease before they are forced to put them down.
"Master, do we know how these men were infected?" Ahsoka asked towards Master Plo who appears in the room in hologram form.
"The men were infected when one of the Clones spread some sort of spore from his mouth into their faces when their helmets were knocked off," Master Plo explained as he shows images of the infected Clones. "The mutation began occurring while we were on the planet, but as soon as we left the planet surface the mutation began slowing down. We suspect something in the air is allowing the mutation to accelerate, but while on the planet."
"Have you and the rest of the Clones been tested?" Admiral Yularen asked.
Commander Wolfe replied for the Jedi Master. "We made sure everyone got tested before we were let on board the ships. So far, all positive. So we think the men who came back infected came across something that caused this infection."
Barriss turns to Ahsoka hoping she might help them. "Ahsoka, you've been to the planet before. Did you find anything there that might explain what happened?"
Ahsoka shook her head in response and lets out a small sigh. "Felucia is home to countless types of plant life, but we never encountered anything like this. My guess is the Separatist found something there and were able to create a dangerous chemical agent to cause this mutation."
Master Plo knew that was a possibility. "If that is true then we'll need to take precautions. We also will need to avoid from sending our forces to the planet until we figure out what is going on."
"Master, if I may. Barriss and I can go down there to find out what the chemical can be," Ahsoka suggested. "We will go to the location where the Clones were at when the infection first occurred. If we find out what caused this then we can find a cure for it."
Barriss nods in agreement with this. "It would be a lot faster getting the source of the infection and find a cure for it."
"Hmm this might be too dangerous to send you both down there," said Master Plo who didn't want to risk them getting infected. "I will speak to the Council about this and see what they say. In the meantime, we will work to make sure the Separatist don't reinforce their blockade on the planet."
"Master, if we wait any longer and we don't find a cure in time then the Clones who are infected could turn," said Barriss wanting to do what they can to help.
"I'm sorry, but until I return you will stay put and wait," said Master Plo as he ends their transmission.
Ahsoka lets out a small sigh feeling a little frustrated. "Now I know how my master felt when they did this to him."
"Still, you have to agree that General Plo is right about this," said Admiral Yularen. "It would be wise to wait until we find out what is going on. Otherwise more will be infected."
"Admiral, I understand. But doing nothing and let the Separatist gain more control on the planet is even worse," said Ahsoka as she began leaving the room with Barriss following her. "I wish we could go down there and help."
Barriss nods in response. "I wish we can help too, but you heard Master Plo. We have to stay on board the ship and wait."
Ahsoka lets out another small sigh. "If only there was a monster on the planet. Then we have an excuse to go down there."
That caused Barriss to think as she began remembering the different types of plants on Felucia. "It is odd. I have done a lot of research on Felucia and learned much about the plants down there. I don't remember finding any that could cause the kind of mutation that we saw with the Clones. Even if the Separatist made it I don't think it would be this strong."
"You think a monster might be down there that caused this?" Ahsoka asked hoping her friend is right about this.
Barriss nods in response. "We should contact Zane and see if he knows anything. Maybe even contact the guys so they can get over here to help us just in case."
"I think us girls can handle this," the two Jedi look around wondering where that voice came from, until the door near them opened and out came Rachel. "What's up guys?"
They quickly grabbed her, pulled her into the room, and locked the door. "Rachel, what are you doing here?" Ahsoka asked while keeping her voice down.
"Duh, I came to help," said Rachel as she pushed herself off her friends. "Zane told me to come with you guys just in case since the guys will be busy. So, here I am to help you guys out."
"Rachel, this is too dangerous and…wait how did you get on board the ship? Did you teleport in here?" Barriss asked figuring teleporting might be the only way since they did upgrade their security.
"I found an empty crate and went inside," Rachel replied making it sound so simple what she did.
Barriss made a mental note to speak with the Chancellor about their so-called 'upgraded' security needing more work. "Well, you should be more careful. If you are found on board you could get in trouble."
"I know, but don't worry. I will stay out of sight and make sure not to be spotted," said Rachel giving her friends her word. "Besides, this is a good thing. Us girls on a mission to stop a monster on our own and helping save the day. Now this is what I call working on our teamwork."
Ahsoka wanted to protest to that idea, but knew they did need to work on their teamwork. Plus, she never worked with Rachel before and would like the opportunity to get to know her better.
"All right, but stay out of sight okay? I would hate for you to get caught and for us to have to explain why you are here."
Rachel nods in response. "You have nothing to worry about. Now, shall we work on figuring out what is going on down there?"
Ahsoka nods in response. "Barriss and I will try to see if we can get more information about the infection. Maybe even try convincing the Council to let us go to the planet."
"Sounds like a plan and I guess this means I'll have to stay in this…closet?" Rachel asked as she noticed some of the cleaning supplies in the room.
"Sorry, but don't worry we'll lock the door and have R2 keep an eye out," said Ahsoka as the two Jedi leave the room and close the door behind them. "I just hope she'll stay out of trouble."
"If it was Rick that will be a problem," said Barriss figuring Rick would find a way to get in trouble. "But, Rachel is the kind that seems to try avoiding it and will stay out of sight."
Ahsoka sighed. "I hope you are right. I don't want to tell her mother that she got in trouble with the Republic for sneaking on the ship."
Barriss smiled softly. "I wouldn't worry about it. Chances are she knows where she is at and would be impressed that she got passed our security so easily."
Yavin IV
Jake continued watching the Clones and the Jedi from the top of the temple. All while keeping in contact with his friends. "You guys doing okay down there?" he asked through the radio that Rick brought with them.
"We're doing okay, except for the traps," Rick replied through the radio.
While they went through the temple they came across some of the traps that were set up by Zane to keep others from finding the holocron. Thankfully he gave them a holopad on how to avoid the traps. Of course, it didn't help that they forgot to use it during the first two traps. Luckily, they have been able to avoid the rest of them.
"On the bright side we are almost to the chamber," said Lux as he used the holopad to get them to where the secret room is at. "Once we get the holocron we'll be able to leave. How's it looking outside?"
Jake looks through his binoculars and sees how calm things are. "So far it's quiet. Hopefully the girls are having some quiet time too on their mission."
"Doubt it," said Rick as they pass the next trap carefully. "From what I heard the planet of Felucia has been a back-and-forth battle with neither side gaining grounds. So, it might take a while for them to come back."
Lux knew Rick was right, especially from what they were told about this mission. "Well, if there is a monster problem there I'm sure we can help end it quickly to help turn the tide of the battle."
"One can hope," said Jake when he noticed something. He got his binoculars to focus on an area near the Clones and noticed something moving in the trees. "I'll be right back guys. I need to check something."
With that he began carefully walking down the steps, while avoiding being seen. Once he got a better position he used his binoculars again and sees what is moving in the trees. They appear to be Damien's robots. They are using camouflage to blend with the trees and are approaching the Clones.
"This isn't good," said Jake as he takes out his morpher. "It's morphin time!"
He transforms into his Red Ranger form and prepares to go warn the Jedi, when all of a sudden someone appeared near half-way down the steps. Jake recognized who it is as the warrior monster he encountered back on Almora.
"Greetings, red ranger," said Warrior as he stood in the path of his foe with his sword in his hand. "I knew you would be here."
"Warrior, how is this possible?" Jake is worried that perhaps Damien's monster saw him morph and knows what he looks like.
"Do not worry on how I tracked you here or if I saw you morph. None of that matters to me," said Warrior as he moves his sword up. "I tracked you here so I can have my fight with you and I don't intend to waste it."
Jake took out his sword and got ready to fight, but then turned his attention to the Jedi wondering if he noticed the robots yet.
"My robots will not attack the Clones or Jedi. However, if you do not fight me then they will attack them," Warrior warned. "Now, let us battle and settle this rivalry."
"What rivalry?" Jake asked not sure what he is talking about. "Look, whatever issue you had with the original red ranger that was long ago. I also am not going to trust you won't harm the Jedi or the Clones. After all you work for Damien. Someone who isn't known to be fair."
Warrior could not deny that, especially how the other monsters have acted. "I am not like him though and if you want proof of my honor…" he snaps his finger, which causes the robots to back way from the Jedi and disappear. "There, now we can fight. However, if you refuse to battle me then they will return."
Jake used his helmet to zoom in to where the robots were at and sees they are gone. So far, this monster is proving to be different from the others. However, he remembered how strong he is from their fight on Almora. He'll need to be careful if he is to win.
"Now, red ranger. We shall battle with no more distractions," said Warrior as he got into a fighting stance. "Are you ready?"
Felucia
Meanwhile, near a large pit there is a facility that is built near it. The base is controlled by the Separatist as the droids are seen setting up the defences for the next attack. Near the pit there is a cloaked woman who is seen tossing something into the pit. All while humming a soft melody into the pit.
"That's it my baby. Keep eating and soon you'll grow up to be big and strong," she said as she laughs softly as a large growl can be heard coming from the pit. "That's right. You will be help us retake the planet and exterminate our enemies."
"Um ma'am," the woman sighed as she turns to the battle droid that approached her. "Um the Republic have built a blockade that is keeping our forces from coming in. I was just wondering, what you want us to do?"
The woman sighed as she focused more on her pet than on the droid. "I will worry about that later. Once my mutants are rounded up then we will begin the attack."
"So um you don't want us to attack?" the droid asked.
This droid was starting to annoy her with its stupid questions. "Yes, don't attack. Just be quiet and wait till you are called upon."
"Oh okay so um what do you want us to…" suddenly a large tentacle appeared slamming on the droid and destroying it.
"Good boy," said the woman as she looks up to see the tentacle retreating into the pit. "Soon, we will retake the planet and take out our enemies for our master."
Okay, there is the end of the chapter and sorry guys again for the long wait. I have been so busy with so much of my work and classes. However, I am glad I was able to get this done. I promise I will try working on the story again, but it will take time.
