Chapter 53 is here and soon we will start with a new long-arc. One that I have been working on with the help of my friend, who remains anonymous. So, we hope you all like this and will like what is to come. Also, thanks again guys for support and reviews.
I appreciate it and glad many of you are liking the story. I am so happy with how this crossover has worked out. So, let us see how things will go now. And who this knight Damien is summoning will be.
Read on to find out what will happen. Also, guys I wanted to point this out since I wanted to make sure everyone is aware of the Net Neutrality situation. Continue making your voices be heard. Do not stop, keep calling the FCC, congress, the senate, everyone so we don't lose our Net Neutrality.

The Knight
Coruscant
Night time has come to citizens of the Republic. The people are seen going about their day like it was a normal day. Even when a dark cloud can be seen forming over the city. This cloud though is normal as the citizens of the Republic knew rain is coming.
The Republic created a weather control machine that would allow them to halt any storm from forming on their planet. They use the machine to make it rain once every month. This causes traffic on the planet to slow down. To avoid any accidents as it rains for the rest of the night.
As it rained, Ahsoka is seen looking out at the rain through the window at the Jedi Temple. She invited Jake and the others to join them so they can hang out. Even made some excuse that they are showing the others around. Once it began to rain though they decided to stick around until the rain dies down a little.
Jake walks over to Ahsoka as he had on a cloak to cover his body. "Someone must have screwed up with the machine. I don't think anyone called for it to rain and have it be cold."
Ahsoka couldn't help but chuckle softly. "Yeah and it doesn't help that the temple doesn't close its doors. Allowing the cold inside."
Jake noticed that and doesn't understand why the Jedi don't have doors to close their temple. "By the way. Rick is not happy with the food of the temple. He thinks it's flavorless and tasteless."
Ahsoka couldn't disagree with that. "As long as it is eatable, the Jedi don't seem to care. Anyways, he should have expected this since we did warn him before."
Jake nods in response. "Yeah, but he is stubborn," he said as the two teenagers began laughing softly. "Still, I'm glad we get to spend time together. Even if it's with some bad food."
Ahsoka couldn't help but nod in agreement. "I am glad I got to meet you all. I never spend much time with anyone my age. Mostly because I was focused on my teachings and becoming a Jedi. Barriss and I spend time with one another, but not as much as with you guys."
Jake turns to Ahsoka and smiled softly at her. "Same here. We didn't have much friends back home. Mostly because many were afraid of my uncle, Tiberous. Still, I'm glad to have had Rick and Rachel to hang out with. "
Ahsoka felt bad for Jake who wasn't a Jedi and she thought he would have a lot of friends. She knew Tiberous was aware who they are and did seem intimidating. But she still would have want to spend time with her friends. Although, she knew it was because she was a Jedi so she could handle herself against Tiberous.
"Anyways, Ahsoka. I was wondering. You know the festival we are going to have back home, right?" Jake asked.
Ahsoka remembers what the others told her about the event that their mother has been planning. "I remember, why?"
Jake let's out a small sigh and went for it. "It is customary for the children of the family to bring with them dates to dance with. Rachel already asked Lux and he accepted. Rick asked Barriss, which she is still unsure about. But I was wondering…would you be my date for the festival?"
Ahsoka was surprised by Jake's request to be his date for the festival. She knew Lux accepted being Rachel's date and Barriss, well she is unsure about it due to the rules. But still, she didn't expect Jake to ask her out. Mostly due to what they said back on Onderon.
"Jake, I don't know about this. I mean, we did say we would…"
"Wait, I know," said Jake interrupting her. "I'm not asking to be my girlfriend since we both decided to wait. However, I'm only asking to be my date to be my guest and dance. That way you won't get in trouble and we can spend some time together. Please?"
Jake knew they both wanted to wait till the fighting against Damien ended so they can try getting together. But, he wanted to try asking her out anyways and see if by the end of the fighting there is something there. Maybe what they feel for one another can be more than just a crush. Only one way for him to find out.
As for Ahsoka though she was still unsure about this. Yes, she likes Jake a lot. More than she did with Lux, but she was still unsure if it will go anywhere. Considering they both come from different worlds.
Still, it didn't mean she couldn't try going. The thought of another girl dancing with Jake made her feel…uneasy.
"I guess it can be okay, but only for the festival. Don't want the Council to think I am there for something else," maybe she can convince Padme to let her go as her bodyguard.
"I understand," said Jake as sees the others approaching them. "Anyways, shall we continue with our tour?"
Ahsoka smiled as she nods in response. "Then let us resume our tour with the library."
Suddenly their communicator began going off. "What's up, Alpha?" Jake asked.
"Rangers, someone is trying to break Vampira out of prison!" Alpha replied.
"What?! Who?" Ahsoka asked wondering who could be trying to break Vampira out and how they even knew where she is at.
Republic Prison
Outside of the city there is one of the different prisons the Republic has. This particular one is where Vampira is being held. The prison appears to have only about a hundred Clone soldiers outside of the prison. However, inside the prison there hundreds of them.
In this prison, the monster general that works for Damien is in her own special cell. UV lights around her that keep her from breaking free and keep her weakened. In the facility are two Jedi Masters as well who were tasked to keep an eye on the monster. The Council would ask for two volunteers to keep an eye on Vampira and then switch it out every day.
Master Agen Kolar and Saesee Tiin, both were next to take over the next shift. Replacing Master Luminara and Secura as the two women headed back to the Temple. The two Jedi Masters began going around the facility. Making sure everything is going well, while the Clones kept an eye on the monster.
"I spoke to some of the men. They said the device that Zane provided us is still operational," said Master Tiin reporting what his men told him. "It is keeping Damien's monsters from finding Vampira and from teleporting inside."
"I have seen this device and learn from Master Yoda the energy source for it is pure," said Master Kolar as they walk down the hallway. "The most pure energy we have ever seen. However, it seems the Chancellor is unaware of this and was told it was made of Kyber crystals."
"I am not surprise," said Master Tiin as the two stop after making sure some Clones passed by. "Lately Master Yoda has sensed something off about the Chancellor. He felt different every time he spoke to him, but chooses not to say anything about it."
"Why?" Master Kolar asked. "What did he sense?"
"I don't know," said Master Tiin as he lets out a small sigh. "This war has caused our vision in the Force to be clouded. The Dark Side of the Force has grown strong with each day this war progresses. To the point that thanks to this new war between Damien and the Power Rangers, we fear our time in this galaxy might be coming to an end."
"Do you truly believe that?" Master Kolar asked who refused to accept that.
"You never know," said Master Tiin as the two continued to walk. "For now, we must keep our eye out and make sure this war ends soon."
Meanwhile, in another part of the facility five Clones are seen in a break room resting up before they continue with their shift. As they continued to wear in the closet a ventilation vent can be seen being open. A cloaked figure emerges from the vent and begins going to the door. He opens it slightly and tosses out small spheres towards the Clones.
The spheres began opening up as an unseen gas can be seen filling the room. The Clones soon began feeling lightheaded, sick, and soon passed out. Once the gas is sucked into the air ducts, the figure emerges from the closet. He is soon followed by five robots as they grab the Clones and begin removing them from their outfits.
They also brought out from the closet another device as they placed it on the table. They begin activating it as the robots finished putting on the outfits.
The figure opens the door to the hallway and took out a device. He presses it as the device the robots brought in sends off a powerful electrical blast that wiped out the power in the prison. This caused the rest of the Clones to quickly spring into action as they grab their weapons and head to the prison cell. The two Jedi also rush to the prison cell, while the figure orders his robots to attack the guards.
The robots soon caught up to the Clones and opened fire. Getting their attention as the Clones fired back. A fight broke out between the two sides as the cloaked figure got passed the Clones and arrived at the cell. There several Clone guards stood in his way as they ordered him to lower his weapon.
The figure took out a long broadsword weapon from his cloak as the Clones opened fire. He blocks the blaster shots with his sword before rushing over and kills the Clones at a speed that they couldn't keep up with.
He walks over to find the prisoner who is still restrained. The UV lights appear to still be on, which means they have their own power source. The figure touches the tip of his sword with his hand, before moving his hand down over the sword as it began to glow. He swings his weapon and breaks through the cell that was blocking him. Once he broke through he cuts Vampira free and grabs her as he begins dragging her out of the room.
As he begins to leave the room he sees Master Agen Kolar, and Saesee Tiin standing in his way. "You must be one of Damien's agents," said Master Tinn.
"We don't know how you got passed our defences, but we will stop you," said Master Kolar as the two Jedi activate their lightsabres.
The figure drops Vampira's body and took out his sword. The two Jedi chare in as they swing their weapons at the figure. The figure blocks their attacks at the same time. His sword blocking both lightsabers as he pushes them off against them.
Master Tiin goes in for an attack on the right as he swings his weapons. Master Kolar goes in as well as he swings his weapon for a lower attack for the legs. The figure blocks the first attack with his sword, he jumps up to dodge the second attack, and pushed Master Tiin back then kicks Master Kolar back.
The two Jedi go in to try swinging their weapons and tried to take him out. The figure goes on the defense as he blocks the attacks. He blocks their attacks again as they tried to push him back. Even used the Force to try knocking him off his feet, but the figure only went back a few inches.
His sword began to glow again as he swings it and sends an energy blast at the two Jedi knocking them away. Master Tiin managed to recover first as he charges at the figure, but his hand is caught by the figure's hand. The figure begins crushing the Jedi's wrist as he screamed in pain.
Master Kolar recovered next and leaps over to kick the figure in the face. This works and frees Master Tiin, but the figure's sword began to glow. He lifts it up and brings it down as Master Kolar tries blocking it with his lightbsaber. The sword cuts through his weapon and cuts off his right arm.
Causing the Jedi Master to fall in pain as his arm is gone and is bleeding. Master Tiin was about to charge at the figure, when he saw his wounded comrade. He goes to him as the figure grabs Vampira and begins dragging her away. The figure fires another blast from his sword to the ceiling.
To block the Jedi and keep them from following him.
He makes it down the hallway to find the Clones destroying the last of the robots. He moves his sword up and slashes at the Clones. Taking many of them down and leaving the rest injured on the ground. He makes his way to the exit where tosses Vampira outside to the ground.
The Warrior soon appeared with two of Damien's robots. He looks down to find the injured Vampira and motions for the robots to take her.
"We had to make a portal far from here since we could not teleport in," said the Warrior as he looks over to find many dead bodies. "Did you have to kill them all?"
The figure did not say anything and simply ignored the Warrior's question. The Warrior did not like how dishonourable this new slave of Damien is and found his actions to be without fairness. Leaving the wounded behind without ending them or even giving them a fighting chance. But he knew there was not much he can do about it.
Suddenly he sees six bright lights appear nearby as he sees the Power Rangers have arrived. The Warrior did not look surprised as he motions for the robots to get behind him.
He was about to begin fighting them when he remembered his orders. "Do what you were told to do," said the Warrior to the figure.
The figure nods as he turns to the Power Rangers. He took out his sword as he stood before his foes.
Earlier the Power Rangers received word that the power in the prison was taken out. The device that kept Damien's monsters from breaking in and finding Vampira was still active. However, if something does go wrong it will alert the Command Center. The Rangers got the call and made it to the prison as the rain continued to fall on them.
"We knew Damien would send someone to break Vampira out. Didn't expect it to be you, Warrior," said Jake who was a little disappointed in Warrior doing this, but he should have known since he still serves his master.
"I'm afraid the credit for the prison break goes to him," said the Warrior as he points to the figure. "I'm also afraid he will be your foe, while I escort Vampira back home. Farwell, Red Ranger."
"None of you are going anywhere," said Rick as the Rangers summoned their Power Weapons. "We're going to take you all down once and for all."
"We need to prevent Warrior from escaping though," said Barriss as she sees the Warrior trying to leave.
"Jake, you and Ahsoka take him down. We will handle the new guy," said Rachel as she gets her Power Bow ready.
Jake and Ahsoka nod as they begin charging at Warrior. Meanwhile, the four remaining Rangers turn their attention to the mysterious figure. Rick, Lux, and Barriss charge in as Rachel opened fire on the foe. The figure deflects the attacks as he kept his ground.
Rick and Lux leap up as they bring their weapons down on the foe. The figure blocks the attacks as Barriss leaps over the boys and kicks the figure in the face. The Rangers used their speed to try taking down the figure, but the figure quickly recovered and began blocking the attacks.
Rachel opened fire when she saw her shot and managed to shoot off the weapons of the figure. Rick thrusts his lance, while Lux brings his axe down on the figure. The figure catches the weapons as Barriss charges it to stab him with her daggers. However, the figure lifts his foot up and kicks Barriss in the chest knocking her away.
The figure pushes Lux back and pulls Rick in as he punched him in the face. He then kicks Lux in the gut as Rick charges at him. The figure leaps over Lux, forcing Rick to halt his attack. The figure pushes Lux into Rick and grabs his sword.
He swings his weapon and slashes at the two Rangers knocking them away. Rachel opened fire at the figure who blocks the attacks again and even deflects them back at her. Rachel leaps out of the way as the figure begins running towards her. Moving so fast she can't get an aim at him.
He appears in front of her and grabs her by the neck. She tries to kick and punch him to get freed, but his grip was too tight. Barriss recovered in time and charges at the figure, but the figure tosses Rachel into the Yellow Ranger. He then used his sword to send an energy blast at the two women knocking across the ground.
Lux opened fire on figure with his Battle Axe, but again the attack was blocked. Rick jumps over and tosses his weapon. The figure moves out of the way, but Rick used this distraction to take out his blaster and opened fire. Hitting the figure in the chest as he kicks him in the face.
The kick though was not enough as the figure barely moved. Rick grabs his Power Lance and slashes at the figure. This time he did manage to knock him down, while Lux rushes over to cut him down. The figure catches his weapon and uses his sword to slash at Lux across the waist.
His armor protected him from getting cut through, but could feel the weapons slashing against him. Lux fell down holding his injury as he groaned in pain. The figures goes to finish him off, but Rick tackles the figure down and begins punching him. The figure grabs his weapon and using the end of his handle he slams it into the side of Rick's helmet. Cracking the visor as Rick fell down.
The figure gets up as Rachel and Barriss recovered from the attack. Barriss begins trying to heal Lux, while Rachel opened fire as the figure approaches them.
Meanwhile, the Warrior summoned a portal that was far from the prison, but would get them out. However, the Red and White Ranger stood in his way as they summoned their weapons.
"You aren't going anywhere, Warrior," said Jake as he held his Power Sword.
"I'm afraid I am, young Red Ranger," said the Warrior who did not want to fight his foe right now. "As tempting as it is to fight you, I'm afraid your friends need you both."
"Our friends can handle Damien's monster," said Ahsoka as she held her sword.
"I'm afraid this new foe is no monster," said the Warrior as he points to the fight and the Rangers see their friends losing against this new foe. "He is Damien's knight. A powerful warrior that serves his master without hesitation and without remorse. He has no honor, will show no mercy to his foes, and he will kill. If you value the life of your friends, I suggest you help them before it is too late."
"We don't believe you," said Ahsoka who refused to believe this new foe is that powerful. "If he is as strong as you say he is, why didn't Damien use him before?"
"That I do not know," said the Warrior who in truth did not, but could not tell the truth. "But do you believe me, Red Ranger?"
Jake wasn't sure if what Warrior was saying was the truth or a lie. He has shown him that he isn't like Damien's monsters. He actually does have a sense of honor and has proven himself to him. However, he was still a servant of Damien and would he actually be someone that can be trusted?
His answer is soon given when he sees Lux getting hurt by the mysterious figure. The others also appear injured as they try to hold their own against this figure.
"We got to help them!" said Jake as he motions to Ahsoka what is going on.
Seeing her friend getting injured forced Ahsoka into action as she heads to help their friends. Jake soon joins her as Warrior looked on sadden. "I hope you survive this encounter, Red Ranger. So I may have my freedom at your hands."
The Warrior soon left with Vampira through the portal, while the Rangers continued their fight with the mysterious figure.
Barriss and Rachel were knocked away by the figure as Rick tried to use his weapon, along with Lux's weapon. The figure begins charging his sword as he prepares to attack all four Rangers. However, Jake and Ahsoka came in stopping him as they bring their weapons down on him. The figure blocks their attacks with his sword as the combined attacks pushed all three back.
"Guys, you okay?" Jake asked towards the others as Rick helps Lux up.
"Well, we're not dead," said Lux as he held his ribs. "Although, I think I broke a rib or two."
"This guy is a lot stronger than the other monsters we fought," said Barriss as she helps Rachel up. "We need to end this right now before it gets worse."
"Right, let's combine our weapons and end him," said Jake as he turns to Ahsoka. "Can you distract him long enough for us to do this?"
Ahsoka nods as she turns to the figure. "I got this. Just hurry," she said as she charges at the figure.
Jake turns to the others are they prepare to combine their weapons for the Power Blaster. Ahsoka meanwhile used her sword to attack the figure as he blocks her attack using his sword. He begins going on the offense as he begins swinging his weapon in a fighting style that Ahsoka felt looked so familiar. She blocks the attacks, but his weapon was a lot stronger than her own weapon that it caused her to tighten her grip on her weapon.
All while keeping her footing so she won't lose her step and fall. The figure continued his attack before Ahsoka managed to block his last attack. She moves their swords down before she drives her elbow into his face. She then kicks him in the chest and then slashed him across the chest.
However, the attack did not hurt him enough as he recovered in time to quickly use her sword. Slashing her across the chest as she fell to the ground. Thankfully her armor absorbed most of the attack, but it still hurt. She looks behind the figure to see Jake and the others are ready.
She rolls out of the way as the figure realized what is going on. The Power Rangers combined their weapons for the Power Blaster and opened fire. Hitting the figure as a loud explosion erupted. Followed by a large cloud of smoke as Ahsoka regrouped with the others.
The Rangers all sigh in relief when they see the guy is gone and they can relax now. Before they could though they needed to let Zane know what happened.
"Hey Zane, um bad news…" Jake let's out a small sigh before he tells him what happened. "Vampira got away. Damien send a new monster to fight us and he kicked our butt."
"Well, our butt," said Rick as he began panting heavily. "You guys didn't even break a sweat much."
Jake cleared his throat and continued. "All right, well we're going to go inside the prison and see if…no way," said Jake when he sees the smoke begin to clear and he sees someone standing there.
"I-it can't be," said Rachel who stood in shock with what they are seeing. "He took the hit directly. How is he still standing?"
"I can sense something is different about this one. What is he?" Barriss asked as she can sense darkness coming from this mysterious figure.
Ahsoka narrowed her eyes and looked on shocked. "G-guys, look. Is he…"
The others soon saw the figure without his cloak. The blast destroyed his cloak revealing his body. He appears to be 6ft and 4 inch tall. Wearing a dark red and black armor, on his shoulders are two canine pads, on his chest is a canine symbol, has on a long dark cape, and a canine helmet. To their surprise though on his belt appears to be a morpher with half a Power Coin and his appearance make him look like a Power Ranger.
"I-is he a Ranger? Like us?" Lux asked who couldn't believe his eyes.
The dark Ranger turns to the Rangers as his sword begins to glow brightly. The Rangers see this and snap out of their shock as they fired another Power Blast. The blast is fired, but the dark Ranger absorbs the blast in his sword. The Rangers look shocked by this as the figure begins turning the energy into darkness as he redirects the attack back at the Rangers.
The blasts hits all six Rangers as they all fell to the ground and lie there injured from the attack. All six Rangers lay on the ground groaning in pain as they feel their armor taking most of the hit, but they still felt it all. They also began noticing their suits began losing power.
The attack damaged them badly and they knew they will power down soon. The dark Ranger however, began approaching the Rangers. Jake tries to grab his sword, but finds it damaged from the attack. The dark Ranger moves his sword up preparing to finish them off, when a green blast appeared out of nowhere and blasts the Ranger away.
The Rangers look over to see the Green Ranger arriving in time to help them. Nathan looks over to see the dark Ranger as he held his Dragon Dagger in his hand.
"I don't know who you are or how you got that power, but if you want them you have to get through me," said Nathan as he prepares to fight his foe.
The dark Ranger lifts his sword up getting ready to fight, when he sees Republic Gunships appear. Surrounding the prison as one of them has Obi Wan on board. He jumps off and lands near the Green Ranger as he activates his weapon. He looks over to see the injured Rangers and then back at the dark Ranger.
"I take it he isn't a friend?" Obi Wan asked towards the Green Ranger who nods in response. "Then in the name of the Galactic Republic, you are under arrest."
The dark Ranger stares at Obi Wan and didn't take his eyes off of him. Obi Wan stared right back knowing this Ranger is looking at him.
The dark Ranger puts his sword away and scoffed. "We will meet again, Master Kenobi. For now, tell the Jedi and the Republic. The war will soon be over. Darkness will reign over this galaxy, the new monarch of Evil will take control, and I his knight will make sure all his foes will fall before him."
A portal appeared behind the dark Ranger as he prepares to leave. However, before he can go Jake managed to get up as he turns to the dark Ranger.
"Who are you?!"
The dark Rangers turns to the Red Ranger and replied. "I am the Cerberus Ranger and I am the end of the Power Rangers."
The Cerberus Ranger soon disappeared into the portal, as the Power Rangers, the Jedi, and the Clones looked on. Knowing that their war against Damien has now just begun.
That's the end of the chapter and yep I have brought in a dark Power Ranger. An evil one that now works for the bad guys and will be a threat to the Power Rangers. Welcome all to the new arc. The Cerberus arc has now begun and hopefully if the net neutrality is still around you will all get this long arc.
I want to thank my friend who remains anonymous for his help on this. I have been working on this Cerberus Ranger idea for a long time now. Finally got to it and I hope he likes how I introduced his Cerberus Ranger. Is it an OC or is it a canon character?
Will the Power Rangers be able to defeat this new foe? Will Zane help them get stronger to defeat the Cerberus Ranger? Will things go like from the other series when we got an evil Ranger? Or will this end differently?
