The Wynkahthu Job

Another whole week has passed and this time, the Ghost crew were about to get involved with a job involving a certain pirate to the annoyance and frustration of everyone, in particular Errol.

"Now, everybody, just try to keep an open mind about this, okay?" Ezra told everyone as they walked up to the airlock.

"Is there something you're not telling us about this job with Hondo?" Sabine asked him as both a 22 year old Hera and Errol folded their arms with frowns.

"Come on. When have I asked you to trust me and it hasn't worked out?" Ezra asked.

"Did you forget all the times we got into trouble every time we saw him?" Errol questioned.

Ezra was about to reply but the door in front of them opened up to reveal Hondo, who has a few scars present from when Errol and his family gave him a beating.

"My friends, my friends! *chuckles* It is I, Hondo!" The pirate greeted them all with his cap off. Everyone looked at him or Ezra with blank and annoyed looks.

"I can't tell you how much your welcome warms this old pirate's heart. You are too gracious." He then told them all, putting his cap back on.

"I agree. Especially since the last time we saw you, you abandoned us on that doomed Imperial station!" Zeb spat in response, Errol nodding in agreement.

"But it all worked out in the end, right?" Ezra asked with a grin, much to Errol's frustration. What will Hondo do for the Padawan to see that he can't be trusted?

"Of course it did, because Hondo always delivers. Just wait until you see what my new partner and I have cooked up." Hondo said, nudging Ezra in the chest.

"Wait. What new partner?" 31 year old Kanan asked, expressing everyone's surprise at this news.

"Now, remember, guys? Okay? Open mind." Ezra reassured them, which didn't sit well with Errol and Hera, who knew that it had to be something they wouldn't like.

The door then opened to reveal a certain slimy alien that made Errol growl.

"Have you recruited these two bit smugglers yet? We need to get moving!" Azmorigan told Hondo with impatience. He then saw the growling Errol, causing him to jump in fear and hide behind Hondo.

"Azmorigan? What makes you think we'd even consider working with him?" Hera glared with anger, speaking for herself and her boyfriend.

"Yes, I-I know that the two of you have had your past… conflagrations, but when Hondo profits, so do you. And believe me, with what we have to offer, the profit for your Rebellion will be great indeed." Hondo pointed out.

"I don't care what you have to offer. I'm not allowing that on my ship." Hera stated, referring to Azmorigan.

"Oh, I remember now. The feisty one. She hit me with a tray." He pointed out.

"You'd better watch what you say if you don't want to get a punch in the face." Errol hissed at him, making the small alien cower.

"Guys, take it easy." Ezra tried to calm them down.

"Easy? This sack of bantha fodder tried to buy me from that sleemo Calrissian and make me his servant." Hera reminded the teen. Errol remembered that event and how it nearly led to him and Hera being broken apart.

"I paid a fair price. Technically, I still own you. *chuckles*" Azmorigan said, which made Errol punch him in the face so hard that the gangster was knocked out.

"You don't own my girlfriend, ugly." Errol coolly told him as Azmorigan lost consciousness.

"Now, now, don't be blind to this amazing business opportun- Oh, sorry, sorry." Hondo tried to calm things down.

"Actually, I'm interested in what you have to offer." Kanan said, baffling the couple so much.

"Oh, wise one. I knew that you would see things my way. Ooh, sorry, again." The pirate said.

"Well, I'm not moving my ship until I know exactly what you're 'offering'." Hera reminded everyone that she's the captain.

"Weapons. I am promising you all the weapons you can carry, unguarded and simply yours for the taking." He revealed.

"You'll have to do better than that." Errol told him.

"Even if they are proton bombs? According to our mutual friend Ezra here, you've been trying to acquire them for quite some time." Hondo explained, making the crew frown at Ezra for telling this much info about their plight. He made a nervous giggle from Errol in particular as he looked like he wanted to punch him across the face.

"Show us." Hera ordered the pirate.

They detached from Hondo's ship and made their way towards a planet. Everyone was in the cockpit and Zeb had to carry the unconscious Azmorigan in.

"The planet Wynkahthu. As I happened to pass it on my travels, I detected an Imperial freighter adrift in the upper atmosphere. Escape pods jettisoned, completely abandoned." Hondo explained what he found with a hologram of the planet projected.

Sabine clicked on it to focus on the planet's readings.

"Huh. Must've flown too close. It's stuck in one of those atmospheric storms. It's slowly being pulled in." Sabine informed everyone, making this all the more interesting. Hondo looked down at Azmorigan, still out cold and he then gestured to Zeb to wake him up, so with a sigh he roared right into his face, waking up the gangster, who screamed.

"Azmorigan, the manifest." The Weequay requested.

"Oh, yes. The cargo in the freighter would soon be lost in the storm. Here's the manifest. It's hold is loaded with a large supply of proton bombs." His partner explained, showing said manifest before it shut off.

"Hmm. What do you two get out of this?" Errol questioned them from the co-pilot seat.

"Well, there is also some cargo you would not be interested in. Uh, you know, there is, um, precious metals, rare artefacts, riches untold. That sort of thing." Hondo said as casually as possible.

"All probably stolen, huh, Hondo? From the worlds the Empire took over." Ezra said, trying to make Hondo seem not that bad.

"So, we'll split the treasure?" Zeb asked.

"*laughing* 'Split the treasure'. Oh, that's a classic. No, no, no, no, no, no, my big, purple friend. You get the bombs." Hondo corrected, leaning on Ezra from his laugh.

"And you get the treasure. So what do you need us for? Why not use your own crew?" Sabine questioned.

"Now trust me, that is a long, boring story. No, no, no, my friends, you are the guys for this job." He explained his thoughts, Errol knowing that there's more to it than he is suggesting.

"If the Empire couldn't salvage the ship, what hope do we have?" Kanan asked.

"A-ha! Because we have something in our favour that the Empire does not, for we are desperate!" Hondo answered, wrapping an arm around Ezra, who grinned slightly.

"Ugh! For once, he's right." Hera pointed out.

"Unfortunately." Errol muttered.

"The Empire would abandon this ship without a second thought. But we can't afford to pass up an opportunity like this." She then explained, Errol nodding in understanding.

"Well said. Then we have a deal? I think we have a deal. We… we have a deal!" Hondo said as he walked out of the cockpit with Azmorigan and AP-5 entered as a hologram showing the storm and the Imperial freighter's place in the storm.

"There'll be no way to dock with that ship in the storm. We'll need another way to offload the cargo. AP, you know the specs for this type of freighter?" Hera asked the droid.

"Of course. I was serving on a class four container transport when Chopper found me." He acknowledged.

"Just get to work with Zeb on a plan for this salvage operation." Hera told him, surprising Ezra.

"Whoa. Wait. You're putting Zeb in charge?" He questioned, feeling that he should be in charge.

"Sorry, pal. I got this one." The Lasat smirked as he, Sabine and AP-5 left the cockpit.

"No. I found this job. This should be my mission. I thought you trusted me." Ezra complained. Errol turned to face him with a frown.

"Do you remember what happened at the Imperial station? Trusting you nearly got us all killed and you lost your promotion." Errol reminded him.

"And besides, when Hondo's around, trusting you gets us into trouble." Hera added.

"Every time we work with him, we come out on top." Ezra argued.

"Because we get lucky and not trust that pile of bantha crap." Errol argued back.

"And it's why we're doing this, with Zeb in charge." Hera then doubled down.

"*scoffs* Yeah, to keep an eye on me." Ezra spat before storming out.

"I know what you two are doing, but Ezra's got to learn for himself Hondo's not the friend he appears to be." Kanan said to the couple.

"But what if he's too stubborn to learn it himself?" Errol questioned before he walked out.

They flew down towards the storm and managed to reach the freighter and fly directly above it. Everyone except for Kanan, Hera, Slick and AP-5

"Energize the stabilisers." Hera requested from Errol in the cargo bay, who activated them and now the ship was in sync with the freighter.

"I'll hold her as steady as I can." She then informed everyone.

"Estimating chance of mission success at 38.5%." AP-5 stated.

"Alright, salvage team. We're on the clock. That cargo ship is sitting above the storm's vortex for now but it's sinking fast. Once it's pulled under, it'll be ripped apart. So make sure you're not on it." Hera then warned the salvage team in advance as they got ready.

"Don't worry. We'll be in and out. Ezra, you good to go?" Zeb said as he prepped his bo-rifle.

"Yes, sir, Captain Orrelios." The teen replied, still in a foul mood, making a mock salute. Errol rolled his eyes as he put on his helmet.

"You got a problem with me in charge, talk to Hera when we get back." The Lasat warned Ezra with a snarl in his voice.

"Stop! Wait for me, huh?" Azmorigan shouted from above and fell down the ladder and fell on his back, making Errol laugh at how pathetic he was.

"Ugh. You have got to be kidding me." Sabine remarked in disgust.

"Azmorigan, this is dangerous work, my frail friend. Perhaps you, with your lovely singing voice, should stay here." Hondo suggested to the Jablogian.

"*laughing* You'd like that, wouldn't you? Me stuck here while you claim the best treasure. Hey, hey, hey, forget it! This job is half mine, and I've got the manifest. I go with you, or we don't go at all. Hear?" Azmorigan fired back at his partner.

"This is why I hate pirates." Errol muttered to Sabine.

"Well, for all their talk, they are very bad at it." She remarked, the two sharing a laugh.

"Sabine, let's do this." Zeb told the Mandalorian.

"Alright, boys. Good luck! I'll be here waiting for the cargo." She said as she opened the ramp, the wind from the storm brushing everyone. The salvage team jumped off the ramp and they all made their way to a hatch they opened up and Zeb and Errol pulled out flashlights and turned them on to look around and saw nothing other than a dark corridor.

"All clear. Come on!" Zeb called out to the others and they all jumped in, Ezra putting on his flashlight.

"I think we'll need to restore power to get to the cargo hold." Errol said.

"You're right. Chopper, get to the bridge and see what you can do." Zeb agreed right before Azmorigan jumped down, though with some difficulty due to his chubby build.

"Are you sure splitting up is a good idea?" Ezra questioned Zeb's order, which earned a groan from Errol, thinking this is getting annoying.

"It's a good order. Here's another one. This way. Come on." Zeb shot back, earning a grunt from Chopper as they all made their way in the direction Zeb was pointing down, unaware of something or someone watching them from afar.

The corridors were so silent that any sound would be like a loud sound, which was the case when a clanging sound emitted from somewhere on the ship, making Azmorigan jump in fright.

"What was that?" He asked as everyone looked in the direction the sound came from.

"It's nothing. Some loose cargo." Zeb shrugged off.

"I saw something move! There!" Azmorigan said, Ezra shining down the corridor he pointed at and they saw something run from right to left.

"Wait a second." Zeb muttered, looking down the corridor.

"Look out!" Azmorigan then shouted, making everyone look to see a figure charge at them and leap onto Hondo.

"Aah! I am attacked!" He shouted and Ezra, Errol and Zeb shined their flashlights to see that it was an Ugnaught.

"What is that?" He asked as Ezra grabbed the Ugnaught.

"I got him. I got him." He said as he pulled him off. He then looked at the Ugnaught and realised something.

"Wait a minute. Isn't this one of the guys from your crew?" Ezra questioned, putting the Ugnaught down and he snorted.

"*sighs* Hello, Melch. Well, like I said, it's a long, boring story. We should get moving." Hondo clearly didn't want to talk about it and so both Zeb and Errol blocked him.

"Hold it. I think we have time to hear this." Zeb told him.

"Yeah. And no leaving anything out." Errol warned him. Melch then snorted in Ugnese.

"Azmorigan came to me with a flight plan he'd acquired, an Imperial freighter with a fat cargo and no escort. So, it sounded like an easy score." Hondo revealed.

"You attacked an Imperial ship?" Zeb questioned, Errol narrowed his eyes.

"We do it all the time." Ezra argued, seeing no big deal about it.

"Exact- Really? Anyway, you should be giving us a medal. Oh, if only you'd seen it. It was glorious." Hondo replied.

"Yeah, yeah, okay. Just skip to the part where it all went wrong." Zeb requested.

"We disabled the ship with ion mines, but it drifted into this maelstrom. Ah! But, of course, my brave little Ugnaughts… look at him. He insisted on trying to board it anyway, but tragically-" Hondo was explaining but Melch shouted in Ugnese, making the pirate kneel in front of him.

"Left you to die? I would never abandon any of my crew. You are like family! Short… *sniffs* fragrant family. Alright, instead of the 1% you were promised, I will give you two." Hondo reasoned, Melch agreeing with that. Errol realised something.

"So you only contacted us after you lost your whole crew. You lied yet again!" Errol barked, flailing his arms around, fed up with Hondo even more.

"Well, he didn't exactly lie. He just didn't tell us the whole truth." Ezra tried to defend his 'business partner' but this made Errol shove Ezra back.

"Don't you dare defend him Bridger, I'm gonna cut him into ribbons!" Errol roared, trying to get his hands on Hondo but Zeb restrained him, struggling slightly by how strong Errol is.

"We don't have time for this, Hondo. Cargo hold, now! I'll let Errol cut you up later." Zeb told Hondo, leading everyone and trying to tell Errol to calm down.

Eventually, they made it towards the hangar door, but as Zeb tried to open it, it just wouldn't move that much..

"Zeb, status update." Hera's voice came through the comlink.

"We're at the hangar door now. And it's not gonna budge." He replied.

"Chopper, we need power on the cargo deck." He then called the droid through the comms. Ezra, being impatient, ignited his green lightsaber.

"I got this." He bragged.

"No wait!/Don't!" Both Zeb and Errol warned him but he didn't listen and cut into the door, forming a hole right when Chopper activated the power and the door opened up. Both Hondo and Azmorigan shoved them aside and ran in with grins.

"Azmorigan, my friend. Pinch me." Hondo muttered as they looked at the treasure in the cargo hold.

"Look! Proton bombs." Ezra pointed at the items they're looking for.

"Oh, my treasure is over there." Azmorigan cheered as he, Hondo and Melch ran to the treasure.

"Alright. Let's get started. We don't have much time." Zeb said, in particular to Ezra.

"Looks like Hondo came through, huh?" Ezra said, sounding confident.

"Do I need to remind you that this is the point in our ventures with Hondo where things go awry?" Errol asked him as they walked in to get the bombs.

"Oh, come on. Nothing can go wrong now." Ezra shrugged off.

They went and looked for their items when Errol suddenly felt a pull in the Force. Knowing he had to find out what it was, he walked away from the others and followed the pull towards a stack of crates. He opened one and in it was a lightsaber hilt. It was made from Beskar metal and looked simple in design other than etching on it that had very Mandalorian symbols on it. Errol checked the bottom to see the name 'Flynn' on there. This must've belonged to a distant ancestor. Errol will have to talk with his dad about it.

"Hey, Errol, come on!" Zeb called out for him. He put the hilt on his belt and jogged over to the others to see the shutters open and the Ghost hover right in front of them with the ramp open.

"Well, it's about time! Crosswinds are too strong to use the magnetic hoist." Sabine informed them

"Copy that. Powering the winch." Zeb replied and activated the winch system, aiming them at the Ghost.

"Standby to receive cables. Now!" He then said before he fired the cables that attached onto the ship.

"Cables secured. Good shot!" Sabine said as Ezra pushed the proton bombs to one of the cables and Zeb activated a magnetic hook for the bombs to get on the cable.

"Alright, first load of proton bombs coming up." Errol informed Sabine as Zeb made the cables move for the bombs to get aboard the Ghost.

"Got it." She acknowledged as the bombs headed towards the ship and they saw Sabine bringing the bombs in.

"I got it! One down." She told them.

"Ezra, hook me up another one." Zeb ordered. Errol saw that Ezra wasn't helping, knowing why and so he did it instead.

"Where's Ezra?" Zeb asked him.

"Helping the liar, that's what." Errol pointed over to the other cable where Ezra and Hondo were loading a crate full of treasure. Errol hooked the bombs to the cable and Zeb moved them over to the Ghost.

"Ezra, what are you doing?!" The Lasat questioned the Padawan.

"I'm helping Hondo." He answered as though it was obvious.

"Unattach that treasure and send the bombs, dumbass." Errol told him, earning a glare from Ezra as they unloaded the crate.

"Whoa, whoa. Now wait a minute." Hondo tried to reason with them.

"Our ship, my operation. Bombs first." Zeb snarled as Ezra loaded the bombs.

"Hey, we're all supposed to be a team." Ezra said as he then loaded more bombs.

"We're not teammates with this pathetic sack of meat, or with the concerningly absent Azmorigan." Errol told him, revealing to everyone that he has been indeed missing for some time now.

"Yeah, where is he? He's been gone for a while." Ezra said.

"Not our problem. Sabine, another one coming out!" Zeb said as he moved the cables.

"Azmorigan, where are you?" Ezra asked through the comms.

"Oh, he's fine. Don't worry." Hondo told them as he and Melch carried a crate.

"Alright. Now I'm worried. Azmorigan, this is Zeb. Come in." Zeb said before trying to contact the gangster and nothing.

"I got this. I'll find him." Ezra insisted.

"No, you get on the winch. Keep the cargo going out. Errol, you babysit him. And remember, bombs first." Zeb ordered, Errol nodding with a 'got it' as Zeb headed off.

"And you just remember we're on the clock here, Captain. The sooner we finish with this, the sooner we're out of here." Ezra retorted.

"He remembers, Ezra, unlike some individuals." Errol told him as they loaded the fifth lot of proton bombs.

"That's five! Keep 'em coming!" Sabine told them before some lightning struck the freighter causing it to fall into the vortex. It shook as Chopper informed Errol through comms.

"Copy, get to the cargo hold, now!" He told the droid before contacting his girlfriend.

"Hera, Chop's lost the stabilisers. This whole ship's gonna go down fast now." He informed her.

"And it'll take you down with it! Get everyone off that tug now!" She warned him.

"We have a problem. Azmorigan's missing and Zeb went to look for him and they haven't come back." Errol revealed to her.

"Well, find them! We're running out of time here." Hera then told her. He then looked over to Ezra and Hondo.

"Hey, Hondo, Ezra, I need your help!" Errol shouted to them.

"Kind of busy right now, Errol." Hondo told him as he argued with Melch over a crate of treasure.

"But isn't Azmorigan your friend?" Ezra asked the Weequay. Errol knew where this was going but he didn't say anything.

"Az- Oh." Hondo let go of the crate and it fell on top of Melch.

"My partner. Th-that means occasional business acquaintance." Hondo explained to the Padawan.

"It also means more treasure for you if he doesn't make it back, right?" Ezra questioned as he walked over to Errol, now understanding fully that Hondo ain't his friend. That he just cares for money and treasure and less of his friends.

"Well, I never thought of it that way but, uh, you never disappoint me, Ezra." Hondo said.

"Yeah, wish I could say the same." Ezra muttered, walking past Errol who caught up with him to search for Zeb.

They didn't reach halfway through the corridor until Errol's comms went off.

"Errol, you there?" Zeb came through.

"I read you Zeb. I'm patching in Hera." He replied.

"Looks like we're in the brig. Azmorigan's here, too. We got knocked out by some kind of droid." Zeb explained what happened. Errol knew that something's wrong.

"AP-5, explanation, please." Errol groaned in annoyance as he and Ezra walked through the corridors.

"I'm afraid I may have overlooked that in my planning." The droid replied.

"Overlooked what?" Zeb asked.

"The sentry droids the Empire utilises on its cargo ships. It must have reactivated when power was restored. I advise you not to engage the droid. The consequences could be problematic." AP-5 explained.

"Could've told us before." Zeb growled.

"I need you all back now! The Ghost can't take much more of this!" Hera informed them.

"Copy that. We'll find 'em, get 'em out and get back aboard the Ghost." Errol told her before cutting off.

"Okay, so where's the brig?" Ezra asked Errol who shrugged, not knowing. The two then heard creaking, making Ezra ignite his saber and Errol decided to use the new saber he found, igniting it to reveal a black lightsaber blade that looked like a short sword and a thin chisel blade instead of a round one.

"Where'd you get the new lightsaber?" Ezra asked him, slightly out of jealousy.

"Talk later." Errol hissed but then Chopper came around the corner.

"Chopper!" Ezra exclaimed as he and Errol deactivated their sabers.

"Can you take us to the brig?" Errol asked the astromech, who nodded and wheeled past them and led to the brig within a few minutes where they found Azmorigan and Zeb in cells with his bo-rifle by the door.

"Well, well, well. Hmm. This might be the last job Hera puts you in charge of for a while, big guy." Ezra mocked Zeb, earning him a smack in the head from Errol as Chopper released Azmorigan.

"Ow."

"Shut up, Ezra. I trust him more than you. Now let's get them out of here so we can leave." Errol spat at him as Chopper released Zeb and Errol handed him his bo-rifle.

"Right, as Errol said, let's get off this ship and be careful. That sentry droid's still around somewhere." Zeb stated and they all started to make their way back to the cargo hold and when they turned a corner, Zeb stopped everyone and they all heard footsteps down the corridor. He then signals everyone to hide.

"Let it go by." He whispered to everyone as they heard it start to come closer and closer to them, making Azmorigan start to get more nervous and tense, eyeing Ezra's blaster, whimpering. It all then got too much.

"Oh, oh, oh. Here we go!" He then shouted as he grabbed the blaster, yelled and came around the corner to charge at the sentry droid and he fired non stop at it to the point that it was taken down.

"You idiot! Zeb told you to let it pass!" Errol chastised the gangster.

"It looked right at me, and I blasted it! Me! Did you see me? I'm a hero!" The gangster exclaimed, ignoring him and annoying both Errol and Zeb.

"Salvage team, what happened?" Hera asked through the comlink. Ezra snatched his blaster back from Azmorigan.

"Give me that! It's okay. We encountered the sentry, but Azmorigan took it out." Ezra explained.

"Oh. I advised you not to engage. If one sentry comes under attack, the others will be activated." AP-5 told them all.

"What a great hero you are." Errol muttered with sarcasm.

"Others? What others?" Zeb snarled before three more sentry droids showed up in the corridor and the one Azmorigan shot got back up.

"I think we should run." Errol said, expressing slight fear before they all ran for it circling around back to the cargo hold, getting fired at by the droids.

"Guys, I am not kidding! I need you off that ship in a big hurry!" Hera called out to them just as they reached the cargo hold, firing back at the droids.

"Oh, we're in a big hurry alright!" Errol shot back.

"Seal the door!" Zeb ordered Ezra, who shut the door but the huge hole he made from earlier didn't make much of a difference.

"Think it was a good idea, moron?" Errol asked Ezra.

"For our current situation, probably not." He replied as they ran for the shutters.

"Hondo, come on! We've gotta go now!" Ezra snapped at the Weequay, who was trying to snatch a crate that Melch was jumping on.

"Not without my treasure." He replied. The door then got blown off and the sentry droids filled in, firing non stop at them all. Zeb, Errol and Ezra took cover and fired back at the droids. Azmorigan and Hondo argued until they saw the droids and got into cover, and Melch ran off. As this all happened, Chopper loaded the last of the proton bombs.

"This will have to be our ride." Zeb said as he and the teens backed up. Eventually, they took down one of the sentry droids.

"Hondo? You have got to get out!" Ezra snapped, the pirate too busy finding his oh so precious treasure.

"Wait, where's Melch?" Ezra asked him, noticing the Ugnaught's absence.

"Oh, no! He must've fallen to his doom. Well, I shall spend his share wisely, in his honour. Let's go!" Hondo said, connecting a crate to a magnetic hook on the cable and sitting on it, Azmorigan sat on the proton bombs and they both rode them to get on the Ghost. Ezra frowned, getting confirmation of Hondo's true colours, fully feeling like a fool.

The freighter then started to get into an angle due to the vortex from the storm. The trio continued firing at the droids when Chopper declared something.

"What do you mean 'every man for himself'? You're a droid!" Ezra barked at him.

"I hope Hera punishes you, you pile of scrap!" Errol cursed at him as he ignited his thrusters.

"I hope you run out of fuel!" Zeb added as Chopper abandoned them.

The trio had to get an extra load of proton bombs and attach it to the magnetic hook.

"Come on!" Errol called to Ezra as he and Zeb sat on the bombs. They made their way to the Ghost and Ezra had to jump, with both Errol and Zeb grabbing him. They kept fire as they headed back to the ship but then the sentry droids started firing at the winch until it snapped, causing the trio to fall and yell.

"No!" Sabine cried out in fear.

Zeb grabbed Ezra with one of his feet as he and Errol managed to grab a hold of the cable with all their strength.

"What's happening?!" Hera asked Sabine.

"Ah! It's okay. They're climbing up the cable." Sabine told her.

"Ezra, cover us." Errol said to his fellow Jedi as he started climbing. Zeb pulled up Ezra onto his back and ignited his saber to deflect the blaster bolts from the droids still firing at them. But then an explosion shot the droids out of the ship, one flying past the trio and the freighter started to descend more into the vortex.

"Are they onboard?!" Hera asked Sabine.

"Not yet!" She replied back, Kanan ran out of the cockpit.

"WELL, GET THEM ONBOARD!" Hera bellowed out, pulling the ship up.

The trio climbed up with Errol being pulled up first by Kanan and they helped Zeb and Ezra up.

"Okay! We got 'em! Cut the line!" Sabine said and Kanan used his saber to cut the cable and Hera now fully ascended out of there as Errol closed the ramp.

"Punch it, Hera!" He told his girlfriend, who flew them out of the planet and they reached back up with Hondo's ship out in space.

Errol, Sabine, Ezra and Zeb watched Azmorigan and Hondo place a crate of treasure on the floor in the full cargo bay.

"Pretty nice haul." Sabine noted about the proton bombs as Hera was on the railing above them.

"Good job, you three." Hera praised.

"Way to go, Zeb." Ezra told the Lasat.

"Never doubted ya, big guy." Errol complimented as he and Zeb made a fist bump.

"Oh, no, you don't, Ohnaka. Half of what's in there is mine." Azmorigan started to argue.

"Oh, but you forfeited this crate when you went off to look for your own loot. What is in here is… *sniffs* is all… *sniffs* What is… it's all mine." Hondo argued back, opening the crate to reveal not treasure, but Melch, who squealed, making the pirate scream. That made Errol laugh so hard that he fell on the floor.

"Melch?" Zeb questioned in surprise.

"Ha! Guess he didn't trust Hondo not to leave him behind again." Ezra pointed out as Errol got back on his feet.

"Sorry it didn't work out, Hondo." Hera mockingly apologised.

"Work out? Oh, no. This is better, yes, because, uh…. Friendship is the greatest treasure." Hondo tried to convince everyone, wrapping an arm around Melch.

"Do you really mean that?" Ezra asked him.

"Mostly." He replied, earning a punch in the gut by the Ugnaught, wheezing and Melch laughed. Errol felt pure satisfaction to see him in pain.

"See? He's always laughing. Always having a good time, this Melch." Hondo tried to keep convincing them otherwise.

"I look forward to you gentlemen continuing this conversation on your own ship." Hera told them as she and Errol left the cargo bay.

"Finally, once we leave them, I just want to relax as much as possible." Errol told her and she giggled before kissing him for a few seconds.

"We'll do that as soon as possible." She liked that idea.

Once they dropped off the gangster and pirate, they headed back to Chopper Base on Atollon and Errol called for his dad to talk to him about the lightsaber he found. The two met up in the common room of the Ghost.

"Alright, Errol. What is it you wanted to show me?" Dash asked as he sat opposite his son.

Errol pulled out the lightsaber and put it on the holotable. Dash's eyes widened upon looking at it and he then held it in his hands to examine it, seeing that it was made of Beskar, the Mandalorian etching and froze upon seeing the Flynn name on it.

"I know. It must be from one of our ancestors." Errol said as his dad handed him the saber.

"Looks like we're descendants of Mandalorians, not just from mom's side of the family." Dash noted with a sense of pride. Errol then ignited the lightsaber to show the black lightsaber blade, surprising his dad even more.

"Wow. Reminds me of the Darksaber." He said. Errol remembered hearing of the saber from stories of the Clone Wars.

"Yeah. This is gonna have to stay in our family." Errol stated, Dash nodding in agreement as the saber was deactivated.

"Keep it safe then. Wouldn't want other Mandalorians to confuse it with the Darksaber." Dash told his son and then walked off to be with his wife.

Errol then walked to his and Hera's quarters and opened a secure compartment that can only be unlocked by Errol's handprint. He then put the lightsaber hilt in the compartment and closed it before walking off to relax with Hera.

I thought it would be cool to show just a little more of Errol's heritage with a black lightsaber that was made from a distant ancestor who was a Jedi. And for a reference of how the lightsaber blade looks, I used the sword that Duncan Idaho used for that salute in the first Dune trailer.
