Chapter 57 is here guys and I hope everyone is ready for the new chapter. I am glad I am getting back into the momentum of the story. So, I hope everyone will like how things are going to go here. Things though don't look good for the Power Rangers.
Last time the Cerberus Ranger has returned, but this time he revealed his Cerberus Zord. For those who don't know what a Cerberus is it's a dog with three heads. It was also used as the guardian to the underworld and served Hades in Greek Mythology. So, now this Zord serves its master the Cerberus Ranger to be used as his weapon.
Will the Power Rangers be able to stop the new Zord? Will Nathan come in time to help them out? Will they be able to save the Wookies from the Droid army? Or will the Cerberus Ranger become too much for the Power Rangers?

The Cerberus Knight Part IV
Kashyyyk
Obi Wan and the Wookies are seen getting their defenses up preparing for the attack by the Separatist. They knew it would only be a matter of time before the enemy launches their attack. Even if what the Power Rangers told them about what the Hunter offered. They knew the enemy would still attack no matter who wins the fight between the Green Ranger and the Hunter.
So, they have to get their defenses ready for the inevitable attack. Luckily for the Wookies, Zane had used his teleporters to help bring supplies for his allies. Equipment needed to defend their home and fight back against the enemy. Even a shield generator to protect the city and oil refinery from long range attacks or even bombardments.
Obi Wan walks towards Master Yoda who is seen speaking with Tarfful and Chewbacca. Master Yoda noticed the Jedi Master and turns to him. "How ready are we, Master Kenobi?"
"As ready as we'll ever be," said Obi Wan who knew it is going to be difficult to fight the enemy with only the Wookies. "The other Rangers took off a few minutes ago when they informed me one of Damien's monsters showed up."
"Hmm not the Cerberus Ranger though," said Master Yoda who knew Damien hasn't sent his knight…yet. "Divide our forces Damien is doing. So once the attack begins on our own we will be."
"That does seem to be his plan, which means it won't be long before the Separatist forces launch their attack," said Obi Wan who figured this was going to happen. "Well, luckily for us we can handle the Droid army."
Master Yoda let's out a small laugh before turning to the other side where the enemy is at. "Handle them we can. For how long though is the question."
Obi Wan knew that was true. Even with Master Yoda by their side they won't be able to stop the Droid army alone. Chewbacca noticed something going on where the Droid army is at and begins letting Master Kenobi know. Obi Wan goes to Chewbacca and is given his binoculars so he can see what is going on.
Obi Wan sees movement as the Droid army appears to be ready to leave. "They've started up their main power generator. It looks like they are going to attack."
Master Yoda knew this would happen as he turns to the island where the Green Ranger is fighting and sighed. "It seems the Hunter has gone back on his word. Now the time is, Master Kenobi. Defend the city and Wookies we must."
Obi Wan nods in response as he turns to the two Wookies. "Let's go. Time to fight."
The Wookies give the others to attack as the Wookies at the beach let out their battle cry. Just as the Separatist forces began launching their attack. They send in their vehicles to help their droids get across the lake. NR-N99 Persuader-class droid enforcers, HMP droid gunships, and Dwarf Spider Droids as they began attacking the Wookies. Obi Wan has some of the Wookies up in the trees to open fire at the enemy giving them the high-ground.
Obi Wan leaps down to the beach and begins charging in to use his lightsaber to deflect the blaster shots. All while the Wookies took cover behind barriers to help them fire at the enemy. Some of the Wookies used their own air ships to attack the gunships of the droids. While some used them to leap on the NR-N99 and place detonators on the vehicles before leaping off into the water just as it detonates.
Obi Wan sees one of the droids firing a rocket launcher at a nearby group of Wookies. So he uses the Force to stop it and send it back to the enemy blowing them up. He knew even with the weapons and Jedi by the side of the Wookies they won't be able to stop the Separatist army. They'll need more help and soon before they get outnumbered.
Meanwhile
The Hunter is seen leaping off a large tree and screams on the way down to the ground. Earlier he thought he had the advantage during his fight against the Green Ranger. He had planned many traps around the island and knew it was a matter of time before one of them caught up to his prey. However, to his surprise the Green Ranger revealed a surprise of his own.
A power boost that increased his strength and made him stronger than before. The Hunter tried setting off his traps, but they all failed against the Green Ranger. The Hunter was now the hunted as he landed on the ground. He scurried to get back up and grab his weapon as he sees his foe approaching him.
The Green Ranger indeed changed. His suit appeared upgraded with more armor, the color of his suit turned darer shade of green, on his helmet silver trims appeared on the top, and his dagger was glowing. This was not at all what he was expecting. Not after what Vampira told him.
"Well, well. It looks like I was wrong about you, Green Ranger. You are a lot stronger than I thought you would be," said Hunter as he takes his weapon and aims it as his foe. "In fact. You might be even more powerful than the original Green Ranger."
Until Nathan swings his Dragon Dagger unleashing a green energy blast hitting his foe and cutting his weapon in half. The Hunter groaned in pain as Nathan approached his foe.
"I am. This is a power boost that I got years ago during a fight against a powerful foe who was trying to kill me," said Nathan as he held his weapon. "This came in handy when I needed it and I was able to defeat him. Now I will use it to defeat you and end this…"
Suddenly he heard a loud blast coming nearby. "What was that?" he begins running towards the beach as he hears more shots being fired. "Is that the Separatist?" he asked himself as he arrives to the beach.
He can see the Separatist army heading towards the Wookies. He also sees the Wookies attacking back as the fight for the oil refinery has begun.
Nathan turns to face the Hunter who arrived to see what is going on. "You lied to me. You said they wouldn't attack unless you called for it."
"I didn't lie, Green Ranger," said Hunter as he used a nearby tree for leverage. "I didn't call for the army. It must have been…" suddenly they see a bright light emerging from the sky. "Oh no. He's here."
Nathan turns to where the light came from and sees a large three-headed canine Zord. "The Cerberus Ranger…"
"And the Cerberus Zord," said the Hunter as he approached the Green Ranger. "I'm sure Zane told you that Damien and him made the power of the Cerberus Ranger. You must have known though they also made a Zord for the Ranger to use."
Nathan knew this was true as he turns towards his enemy. "You knew he would come, didn't you?"
"I knew he would…but I thought I still had time to fight you," said Hunter as he sits down on a nearby rock. "A shame too. I was hoping to finish this fight before he arrived."
"Then we'll settle this later," said Nathan as he prepares to leave, until he hears a gun cocking behind him. "Going to shoot me from behind?"
Behind him the Hunter has a blaster in his hand ready to use on the Green Ranger. "I wold prefer not to, but I don't have much of a choice. My master will kill me in such a dishonourable way. I would prefer finishing my fight with you before you fight the Cerberus Ranger."
"Are you serious?" Nathan asked until he realized that was a dumb question. "I can't fight you any longer. You gave me your word if we fought you wouldn't unleash the Droid army. Look around, they are fighting the Wookies. It seems pretty obvious you have no leverage to use against me to fight you now."
"I was never going to unleash them at all!" The Hunter replied as he stood up from the rock. "You really think I would unleash these mechanized things that have no honor? No. I have come to respect the Wookies and their fighting ways. I would never want to wipe them all out, but my master…he doesn't care."
"If you believe that then fight for them and not against them," said Nathan who didn't understand why someone who clearly has some sense of honor is doing this.
"Because…because I don't have a choice," said the Hunter as he puts his blaster down and sighed. "My master created us to be his weapons and do what he wants."
"Even if it means being dishonourable?" Nathan asked as he moves his weapon away. "He may have made you, but it doesn't mean you should follow what he tells you. If it's against what you believe in then you shouldn't do it. Otherwise you'll be just like these mechanized things who kill with no honor."
The Hunter's hand begins shaking as he aims his weapon at his foe. He didn't want to shoot him, but he knew he had to. If his master finds out he will kill him or do the same thing he did to…no. He has to…no he can't…yes…no…the Hunter screams as he tosses his weapon down. Once Nathan heard this he turns to face the Hunter and sees he tossed his weapon away.
"You can't stop the Cerberus Ranger. Even with these powers of yours you can't win," said the Hunter as he begins walking away. "You'll die."
"Maybe…" Nathan then turns to the Droid army heading to the Wookies. "But I'll die with honor. Dragonzord Power!"
Nathan moves the hilt of the dagger against his mouth and begins using it as a flute. The sound of the flute echoes all over the island as it begins traveling across the sky. The sounds soon arrives to the planet of Almora where deep in the ocean of the planet two red eyes begin to glow. Suddenly a large bright green light blasts from the ocean and heads towards the planet of Kashyyyk.
The blast soon crashed in the water between the Droid army and the Wookies as the Dragonzord emerged. Letting out a loud roar as Nathan leaps up into the air to join his Zord.
"All right. Dragonzord. Let's weaken the Droid army and then join the others," said Nathan as he has his Zord go in to attack and hope the Rangers will be able to hold off the Cerberus Ranger until he joins them.
Meanwhile
The Rangers all backed away as they see the Cerberus Zord has been summoned. The large three-headed canine howls loudly, while its master stood in front of it. The Cerberus Ranger leaps up to the middle top head of his Zord before moving his blade up towards the Rangers. "Prepare to meet your end, Rangers. My Zord will destroy you all and then we will destroy the Wookies."
"I don't think so. We won't let you do this," said Jake as he turns to the other Rangers who all nod their heads. "We need Dinozord power now!"
"I need White Tigerzord Power now!" said Ahsoka as she calls on her Zord.
Five bright lights are shot from Endor and fly towards Kashyyyk. The lights emerged behind the Rangers as the Dinozords and the Tigerzord arrived. All five Rangers leaped up to join their Zords. The five Zords all roared loudly, but the Cerberus Ranger didn't seem worried.
"Your pathetic Zords are no match for mine," said the Cerberus Ranger as enters the cockpit of his Zord.
It was much like the Tigerzord giving the Cerberus Ranger room to move. In the middle though stood a colored floor with control panel in the middle.
"Cerberus Zord, power up!" the Cerberus Ranger ordered as his Zord howled loudly.
The Tyrannosaurus Zord charges in as it roars at the Cebrerus Zord. The Cerberus Zord leaps up and pounced the Tyrannosaurus Zord down as it begins biting it. However, the Sabertooth Tiger leaps over and tackles the Zord down, but the Cerberus Zord has one of its mouths bite down on the other. The Triceratops goes to ram at the Cerberus Zord, but the evil Zord tosses the Sabertooth Tiger Zord at it knocking them both down.
The Pterodactyl Zord flew down and opens fire at the Cerberus Zord, but the evil Zord opens two of its mouths and fires a dark fire energy blast at the Zord. The Pterodactyl gets shot down and crashes into the water. However, the Tigerzord rushes over and tackles the Cerberus Zord down. The Cerberus Zord kicks the Tigerzord off, but the White Tigerzord lands on its feet and roars at the other Zord.
"He's strong, but so is the Tigerzord," Ahsoka took up her sword and places it in the control slot. "Tigerzord, convert to Warrior Mode, now!"
The Tigerzord soon begisn to transform as it goes into its Megazord mode. Even summons its weapon as it gets ready to fight.
"So, your Zord can transform without the other Zords huh? What a coincidence," said the Cerberus Ranger as he took his sword and places it in the middle slot of his control panel. "Cerberus Zord, Megazord mode now!"
The Cerberus Zord begins to transform as it begins. Standing up on its legs with the two heads beginning to separate on the shoulders of the Zord like shoulder pads. All while the middle head begins moving down to the chest and the Megazord head appearing. The head appearing red and dark colored with the eyes glowing ruby red.
"No way. It can transform?" Rachel asked surprised by this.
"We need to help Ahsoka," said Barriss knowing their friend can't fight the Cerberus Zord alone.
"But without the Mastodon Zord we can't help," said Rick knowing they can transform without the other Zord.
"We have to try. Come on guys," said Jake as the four Zords join Ahsoka. "Ahsoka, you see an opening you take it, okay?"
Ahsoka nods in response. "Yeah, got it," she said as she goes in to attack.
The Tigerzord swings its sword as the Cerberus Megazord summons a dark ruby sword as it blocks the attacks. The Tigerzord continued trying to attack, but the Cerberus Megazord pushes its opponent back and swings its weapon hitting the chest of the Zord. Slashing again and against until it goes for another attack, until the Pterodactyl attacks blasting it.
The Sabertooth Tiger leaps up and attacks the right shoulder of the Cerberus Megazord. The Tyrannosaurus charges at the Cerberus Zord and bites its leg. All while the Triceratops rushes over and drives its horns into the other leg of the Cerberus Zord. This caused the Cerberus Zord to fall on its knees leaving it vulnerable.
"Ahsoka! Attack now!" Jake shouted.
"Got it!" Ahsoka took out one of the orbs and uses it to fire an energy blast at the enemy.
However, one of the heads on the right shoulder opened fire hitting the Sabertooth Tiger knocking it away. The Cerberus Megazord grabs the Triceratops and uses it as a shield so it would get hit by the attack.
"Rick! Barriss!" Ahsoka shouted shocked with what happened.
The Cerberus Megazord takes his sword and brings it down slashing the Tyrannosaurus Zord knocking it down. Ahsoka has her Tigerzord move in to attack, but the Cerberus Megazord caught the weapon and uses its sword to bring down on the right arm. This damaged the right arm and caused it to drop the sword. The Cerberus Megazord goes to slash at the Tigerzord when the Pterodactyl opens fire.
The Cerberus Megazord blocks the attacks with its sword. Absorbing it and then fires it right back hitting the Pterodactyl. Hitting its right ring and taking it down. The Pterodactyl crashes to the ground as Rachel hits her head against the control panel getting knocked out.
"Rachel!" Jake saw this and exits his Zord to get to his sister, but the Cerberus Megazord stood in his way. "Get away from her!"
"Or what?" the Cerberus Ranger asked as he spoke to the Red Ranger while in his Zord. "I defeated you all in combat and now I defeated your Zords. You cannot stop me. You are all weak. I on the other hand my rage, anger, and hatred fuels me making me more powerful than any of you."
"Your wrong," Ahsoka got her Megazord to shield the Pterodactyl despite only having one arm. "Your hatred and anger will be your downfall. As long as we are together you will never stop us."
"Heh! Stop me? You can't stop me, child. In fact…" the Cerberus Ranger exits his Megazord and lands on the ground. "I don't even need to use my Megazord to beat you. Cerberus Megazord, destroy them!"
The Cerberus Megazord howls loudly as it goes to attack the weakened Pterodactyl. Until multiple rockets hit the Cerberus Megazord knocking it down.
"What was that?!" the Cerberus Ranger shouted until it heard a familiar roar. "The Green Ranger."
The Dragonzord soon arrives as it roars loudly. "Sorry for being a little late to the party. Had to take care of the Separatist army."
"Dad," Jake whispered happy to see his dad as he turns to the Cerberus Ranger. "Looks like this fight isn't over yet."
"Wrong," the Cerberus Ranger fires an energy blast from his sword knocking the Red Ranger. "You've only delayed the inevitable. Cerberus Megazord, destroy them all! I'm going to destroy the oil refinery."
The Cerberus Ranger begins taking off and leaves his Megazord to finish the job. Nathan joins the Tigerzord as both Zords get ready to fight.
"Ahsoka, how damages is your Zord?" Nathan asked.
"It can still fight. Just has a damaged right arm," said Ahsoka as she tries her best to fix the problem.
"No. We can't risk your Zord getting damaged even more, it looks like I can't merge with your Zord then," said Nathan as the turns to the others. "Rick, Barriss, how are your Zords?"
"Damaged, but they can still fight," said Rick as he managed to get his Zord working again.
"Me too. You've got a plan?" Barriss asked.
"I got one," said Nathan as he turns to his son. "Ahsoka, go get Rachel out. Jake join the others to merge with the Dragonzord, while I go stop the Cerberus Ranger."
"But dad, without the Mastodon we can't…" Jake suddenly hears a familiar voice through his com-link.
"Already taken care of," spoke Lux as he sends his Zord to arrive with the others as the Mastodon uses its trunk to freeze the legs of the Cerberus Zord. "Sorry for being late guys. Alpha was helping me show how to help send my Zord to you all without being there myself. I wish I got there sooner though."
"Don't worry about it. Just glad you made it buddy," said Jake who is glad to see even though Lux isn't here he is still helping them in other ways. "All right. Go get them then!"
"All right, let's do it! We need Mega Dragonzord power!" Nathan called.
The Dragonzord let out a growl of power as its body was being spilt into different pieces. The Mastadon begins merging to the back of the Zord to be its arms. All while the Triceratops and Sabertooth Tiger become the legs of the Dragonzord. All while its weapon is the Power Staff.
Ahsoka managed to get Rachel out as she sees the Mega Dragonzord has finished working together. All while Nathan came out of the Megazord and sees his son taking his place.
"Dad! Hurry before the Cerberus Ranger gets to the oil refinery!" Jake shouted as he watches his dad running through the water.
"Got it and good luck kids!" Nathan shouted as he begins picking up speed.
Jake joins Barriss and Rick in the cockpit as they get ready to fight. "All right. Ready guys?" Rick and Barriss nod in response. "Okay, let's do it."
The Mega Dragonzord begins charging at the Cerberus Megazord as the two clash their weapons against one another. The Cerberus Megazord though was faster and managed to push the Mega Dragonzord back as it begins attacking. However, the Mega Dragonzord managed to block the attacks with its weapon as the Rangers try to find an opening. It wasn't coming soon though as the Cerberus Megazord begins pushing the Mega Dragonzord back towards a nearby tree.
"If this keeps up the Megazord will get damaged like the others," said Barriss as the attack from the Cerberus Megazord was becoming too much.
"I got an idea. On my count we let it push our weapon off and then duck," said Jake knowing this might be the only opening they'll have.
"Only good idea we've got left," said Rick as he gets ready to make their move.
The Cerberus Megazord brings his weapon down causing the Rangers to drop their weapon. As the evil Megazord goes to attack again the Rangers ducked the hit as the sword hits the tree. They then got behind the Cerberus Megazord and lift it off the ground hitting a German Suplex. The crash from both Zords shook the ground and caused the water to a small wave to the beach.
Luckily, Ahsoka got up to her Tigerzord with the unconscious Rachel. "Good work guys! Now finish it off!"
The Mega Dragonzord managed to get up first and charges its fin then fires an energy blast hitting the Cerberus Megazord. The Mega Dragonzord grabs its weapon as it begins charging its final attack.
"All right. Let's finish it! Power up the Power Staff!" said Jake as the Mega Dragonzord charges its weapon and thrusts it towards the Cerberus Megazord.
However, the Cerberus Megazord's sword is summoned back to its hand and just in time to block the attack. The Mega Dragonzord tries to pierce through the sword, but it was too strong. Suddenly the middle mouth of the Cerberus Megazord begins charging up until it fired a dark ruby energy blast in the form of the three heads of Cerberus as they howled. The attack hits the chest of the Mega Dragonzord causing it to drop its weapon.
The Cerberus Megazord's sword begins charing up as it brings down its weapon to slash at Megazord. This caused the three Rangers inside to get sent flying out of their Zord towards the water. The Megazord soon breaks apart into the four original Zords as they all hit the water. Unable to move or fight.
"No!" Ahsoka couldn't believe what just happened. Even with the Mega Dragonzord they were no match for the Cerberus Megazord.
She sees the evil Zord approaching the Rangers as they tried swimming towards one of their Zords. She wasn't going to let her friends get hurt. Not while she is still standing. Her Zord was damaged, but it can still move and she still has one more trick up her sleeve.
"I need White Falconzord Power now!" Ahsoka commanded as her second Zord began emerging from Endor and arrives on Kashyyyk.
The White Falconzord began flying towards the group as it opened fire hitting the Cerberus Megazord causing it to back away. It flew by and then came back firing a red energy blast from its mouth. Hitting the Cerberus Megazord and causing it to drop its weapon.
"All right. Let's do it! I need Mega Falcon-Tigerzord now!" Ahsoka commanded as her Zord begins to merge with the Tigerzord.
Through the reflection off the eyes of the Tigerzord it sees the Falconzord approach it. The Tigerzord jumps up as the Falconzord flies to its back and merges with the Zord. The Cerberus Megazord gets up and grabs its weapon as it gets ready to fight.
The Cerberus Megazord begins charging up its attack, while the Falconzord sends its own power to the Tigerzord. The two Megazord finished gaining energy and charge at each other. Both swing their swords and in an instant they both passed each other.
Nothing appeared to happen for almost a minute until the Tigerzord's sword broke in half and it fell over to the ground. Ahsoka soon fell out of her Zord with Rachel and crashes into the water. Jake sees this and leaps into the water to help save them. Rachel managed to wake in time as she sees her friend appearing hurt.
She over to her and helps keep her afloat "Ahsoka? What just happened?"
"T-the Cerberus Zord…its too powerful," said Ahsoka as Jake came over to help them. "Jake…its too strong. We can't beat it."
"N-not giving up yet," said Jake refusing to give in as he looks over to see the Cerberus Megazord falling on one knee and using its sword to keep it from falling. "Look! You injured it."
"But it doesn't look like it's down yet," said Rachel as the Cerberus Megazord begins transforming back to its first form and howls loudly before it disappeared into the sky. "W-where did it go?" she then noticed something is wrong. "And where is the Cerberus Ranger?"
Jake begins helping the girls get to one of the Zords, which began to recover from the fight. "To the oil refinery. I just hope dad can stop him in time. Otherwise all of this was for nothing."
Meanwhile
Obi Wan, Master Yoda, and the Wookies managed to hold the beaches thanks to the Green Ranger who used the Dragonzord to wipe out much of the Separatist forces. Allowing the Jedi and the Wookies to take back control. Of course, the fighting isn't over yet.
The Jedi had to pull their forces back as the Separatist send in their Vulture Droids to try bombing the area. Luckily for them the shield generator is holding. Preventing the enemy from taking them down. However, they needed to take out the Vulture Droids soon.
"We need to lure them in close in order for us to shoot them down," said Obi Wan who knew the air ships the Wookies use are no match for the Vulture Droids.
"Hmm lure them in I will," said Master Yoda as he turns to Obi Wan. "Once I do then shoot them down we must."
Obi Wan nods in response knowing Master Yoda can handle this. Master Yoda leaves the safety of the shield and goes out into the open hoping to lure the droids towards them. All while Obi Wan motions for the Wookies to take to the trees to shoot down the Vulture Droids. As they get into position the Vulture Droids noticed the Jedi and begin heading towards him.
They take aim as they get ready to fire, but Master Yoda didn't move or try to run. He looks up at the droids and begins using the Force to begin crushing some of them. However, he couldn't get them all as the rest got through and prepared to fire. Until Obi Wan gave the order and the Wookies opened fire shooting down the remaining Vulture Droids.
Once they were down the Wookies began celebrating as the Jedi see the remains of the Droid army retreating. "The city is safe. It appears the battle is ours," said Obi Wan who knew the Wookies are safe from the Separatist.
"Hmm victory for now. Long way to go to liberate Kashyyyk we still have," said Master Yoda as they hear a loud explosion coming from the city as the shield generator goes out.
"What was that?" Obi Wan asked as one of the Wookies informs the Jedi the Cerberus Ranger has gotten through their defenses and is heading towards the oil refinery. "We need to stop him!"
Obi Wan took off with the Wookies to try to stop the Cerberus Ranger.
Oil Refinery
The Cerberus Ranger took down the last of the Wookie guards that were in his way before seeing the path to his goal is within his grasp. Without this facility the Wookies will stand no chance of defeating the Separatist forces. He will make his master proud as he walks over to the oil refinery. Until he hears someone running behind him and took out his sword in time to block the Green Ranger's energy blast from his dagger.
"The Green Ranger. We meet again," said the Cerberus Ranger as he sees his foe stand before him. "Last time we met we got interrupted thanks to your Jedi friends. This time you won't be so lucky."
Nathan turns to see the dead Wookies and gripped his weapon tightly. "You're going to pay for what you did."
The Cerberus Ranger laughed evilly as he kicks one of the bodies of the Wookies away. "These pathetic creatures were no match for me. They should have stayed out of my way. Just like you and the Power Rangers. You should have never stood in the way of my master, Damien."
"As long as he tries hurting innocent people we won't let him get away with it," said Nathan as he got into a fighting stance. "I will stop you and then we'll stop Damien."
"Unlikely," said the Cerberus Ranger as he got into a fighting stance himself. "I will destroy you Green Ranger and then the rest of the Wookies."
Nathan rushes over as he charges his Dragon Dagger. The Cerberus Ranger took out a blaster from his holster and opened fire. Nathan dodged the blasters and leaps over. The Cerberus Ranger blocks his attack and pushes him back then begins swinging his weapon to try slashing the Green Ranger. Nathan managed to dodge his attacks and kicks him in the chest sending him back.
He then goes to slash him with his weapon, but the Cerberus Ranger grabs his weapon and tosses it away. Nathan though grabs his wrist, flips backwards, and then kicks him away taking his weapon away. The Cerberus Ranger gets up as Nathan kicks up. The two then turn to each other before charging at each other.
The Cerberus Ranger goes for a kick, but Nathan steps to the side and then begins going for some punches. The Cerberus Ranger blocks them and begins attacking him with his own punches. Nathan manages to block them as the two Rangers begin going for kicks and punches. Both blocked their moves, but Nathan rolls over to duck a swift kick as he grabs his Dragon Dagger.
Nathan rushes over and delivers a kick to the chest sending the Cerberus Ranger towards a nearby tree. Nathan rushes over, but the Cerberus Ranger rolls over and grabs his sword. Nathan though used this chance to leap on the tree and leap over as the Cerberus Ranger swings his weapon just missing his foe. He cuts through the tree and jumps out of the way as the tree came crashing down.
Nathan charges his dagger and leaps over to attack. The Cerberus Ranger blocks his attack with his sword, but the force of the attack knocked the evil Ranger back. Nathan used this chance to begin slashing the Cerberus Ranger before kicking him in the face and knocking him down the hill. Nathan charges his weapon for one more big attack, but the Cerberus Ranger moves his sword towards another target.
Not the Green Ranger, but two Wookie children who accidentally left the safety of the shelter where the civilians were hiding out at. Nathan stops his attack when he sees the Cerberus Ranger aim his weapon at them.
"What's the matter, Green Ranger? Why did you stop? Go ahead. Attack me now…" the Cerberus Ranger's sword begins charging towards the children as they begin to cry. "You won't get another chance to finish me off than right now."
Nathan wanted to attack and finish this, but he couldn't do it. Not if it means getting the children killed. Nathan lowered his weapon down, which allowed the Cerberus Ranger to swing his weapon and hit the Green Ranger knocking him towards the ground. The attack knocks Nathan's weapon away and cracks his gold shield.
The Cerberus Ranger gets up and begins walking towards his goal knowing the last thing in his way is the Green Ranger. He presses his boot on the chest of the Green Ranger as Nathan writhes in pain.
"You failed Green Ranger. You failed to protect stop me, you failed to help your friends…" the Cerberus Ranger charges up his weapon and unleashed it at the oil refinery destroying it completely as a large explosion erupted. "And now you failed to save the Wookies. But don't worry. I'll make sure your friends all join you in the afterlife!"
The Cerberus Ranger swings his weapon to take the head of the Green Ranger when a blaster shot hits his right hand causing him to drop his weapon. The Cerberus Ranger screams in pain as he turns to who shot him. Nathan also turned to the shooter and to his surprise…it's the Hunter. The same monster he was fighting earlier.
"Hunter! You idiot! What do you think you are doing?!" the Cerberus Ranger shouted angrily.
The Hunter puts his rifle down and tosses it away. "Saving the Green Ranger from dying after your dishonourable and cowardly act."
"Dishonourable? Cowardly?!" the Cerberus Ranger appeared pissed with what he accused him of. "Does it look like I give a damn about being honourable? No! I have my orders and so do you. You will pay for this!"
"Yes. I will pay for what I did, but at least I did it because…" the Hunter turns to the Green Ranger before turning to his foe. "Because unlike you this Green Ranger has shown more honor and respect than you. He gave me an amazing hunt and a jolly good fight. I cannot let someone who doesn't understand anything about being a good sportsman kill such a worthy foe in such a pathetic way. I won't let you get away with this and I will stop you myself."
The Cerberus Ranger scoffed before he clenched his right hand. "You cannot be serious. You are a failure. A joke! You cannot defeat and for this I will kill you!"
"If I die I will die, but at least I'll die with honor!" the Hunter took out a knife and charges at the Cerberus Ranger.
"Hunter! No!" Nathan shouted.
The Cerberus Ranger grabs his sword and unleashed a dark ruby energy blast piercing through the chest of the Hunter. The Hunter fell on his knees and begins gasping for air.
The Hunter turns to the Green Ranger and smiles. "Thank you…Green Ranger…for a jolly good…time…" he falls over and explodes leaving nothing behind.
"Good riddance to bad trash," said the Cerberus Ranger.
Nathan angrily grabs his Dragon Dagger and slashes his foe's leg causing the Cerberus Ranger to back away. Nathan gets up despite feeling pain surging through his body. He turns to the evil Ranger and grips his weapon.
"You will pay for what you did," said Nathan as he tries to get into a fighting stance.
"Aww what's the matter? Sad I killed your friend?" the Cerberus Ranger mocked. "Don't worry…" he soon begins charging his sword. "You will be dead lie him soon."
"Stop!" the Cerberus Ranger turns around to see Obi Wan with his lightsaber out and the Wookies by his side. "If you want him you'll need to get through us first."
The Cerberus Ranger nearly lost his grip when he saw Kenobi and soon his voice began to change for a moment. "Obi…Wan…"
Obi Wan heard what he said and for reason it sounds so familiar. "Who are you?"
The Cerberus Ranger though tightened his grip on his weapon again and regained his composure. "I completed my mission. Destroy the oil refinery, cripple the Power Rangers, and damage their Zords…" the Cerberus Rangers turns to the Green Ranger and puts his sword away. "The next time we meet you and your friends will die."
The Cerberus Ranger soon is engulfed in a dark ruby light before he disappeared. Once he was gone Nathan fell on his knees and returned to normal. Obi Wan and the Wookies rush over to check on him as Nathan was breathing heavily. They help him to the ground so he can rest up while calling for medical help.
"T-the children…" Nathan began to speak. "A-re they okay?"
Obi Wan turns to where he sees two Wookie children being cared for by who he assumes is their father. Obi Wan turns to Nathan and nods.
"They are safe. I'm sorry we didn't arrive in time to help though," said Obi Wan as the Wookies bring someone with medical knowledge to check on Nathan.
"It's okay…as long as they are safe that is all that…matters…" Nathan soon passed out and is left in the care of the Wookies.
Obi Wan gets out of the way allowing the Wookies to treat the injured Ranger. He turns to the oil refinery and sighed. They defeated the Separatist forces, but it came with a heavy price. If they don't stop the Cerberus Ranger soon then…then nothing will stop Damien from unleashing his forces and finish them all off.
That's the end of the chapter! Sheesh, I am not making things easy for the Power Rangers huh? Honestly, everyone should have seen this coming. Of course they were going to get their asses kicked and it would not be easy for them to come back from this.
Still, even with the White Falconzord it didn't seem to help them huh? Also, aww I had one of Damien's monsters be killed by the Cerberus Ranger. At least Hunter died with honor. We will never forget you my friend.
Now with the Zords damaged though how will the Power Rangers be able to stop Damien's next attack? Will it be soon or will it be a while to give them time to recover? If you were a bad guy I don't think you would wait long. So, tune in next time to see how things will go and how the Rangers will survive as the Cerberus saga continues.
