Chapter 58 is here guys and I hope everyone is ready for the new chapter. I want to also thanks everyone for being patient with me. I know it has been a while since I've updated my stories, but stuff with classes and work has been difficult. I am glad you all understand and are sticking by with me till I uploaded my work.

So, I appreciate it and thanks to my friend who remains anonymous too. I appreciate all you have done and I hope you are doing good my friend. You are a good person and you deserve to be happy. I also hope everything is going well where you are at.

Now then, last time we saw the Power Rangers have a second round with the Cerberus Ranger. Things didn't exactly go well and it seems things are only getting worse. Will they find a way to defeat the Cerberus Ranger? Or will things continue to go worse as the Cerberus Knight arc continues?

The Cerberus Knight Part V

Kashyyyk

A day has passed since the fighting at Kachirho for the oil refinery. Despite halting the Separatist forces from taking the city the oil refinery was destroyed. All thanks to the Cerberus Ranger. Word of what the Cerberus Ranger did began spreading across the galaxy.

Not only did the Cerberus Ranger succeed in destroying the oil refinery, but also defeated the Power Rangers once again. This caused the people to become worry that the heroes they looked up to and who could defeat any enemy were not as invincible as they thought they were. This caused fear to return and were beginning to lose hope. Something that the Separatist took advantage of.

What the galaxy was unaware of though is the Power Rangers did succeed in their mission. Before the fighting they managed to reroute much of the oil from the refinery to a safe location that Zane made. A secret place where the oil would be safe for the Wookies to use. While leaving only a little bit of oil behind so when it was destroyed to give the illusion that the enemy was successful.

This will help allow the Wookies to continue fighting, until the Republic can break through the blockade. To also further keep the illusion the Separatist succeeded only the Jedi Council were told about what really happened. They didn't inform the Chancellor or any members of the Senate.

Obi Wan is seen with Master Yoda speaking to the Jedi Council in a private room the Wookies lend them. "Thanks to the Power Rangers we managed to weaken the Separatist forces on Kashyyyk. This will give the Wookies to continue their attack before the Separatist can send more forces to the planet."

"By then we should amount enough forces to break through the blockade," said Master Ki-Adi-Mundi.

"Thankfully Senator Nite convinced her father to help the Wookies," said Master Shaak Ti recalling earlier when Senator Nite spoke to the Senate to let them know her father will send aid to the Wookies. "He'll send a small fleet to damage the ships of the Separatist. Allowing their ships to drop supplies to the planet."

"But until then they'll need to stay out of the open to prevent the Separatist from finding them," said Master Windu as he turns to Master Kenobi. "Did the new shield generator arrive?"

Obi Wan nods in response. "Zane informed us it will keep Separatist droids from piercing through and it will prevent any of Damien's monsters or in this case the Cerberus Ranger from getting through."

"That reminds me. How are the Power Rangers?" Master Plo Koon asked. "We heard they were severely injured during their fight?"

Master Yoda sighed before he replied. "Injured the Green Ranger is. Not too severe, but he will not be able to fight for a while. The others are safe. Powerful the Cerberus Ranger is."

"He was able to defeat them even when they all fought together. Now with this Cerberus Zord by his side there is no telling what kind of damage they can do," said Master Kit Fisto.

"And word of what happened on Kashyyyk has spread across the galaxy," said Master Luminera. "The Separatist have taken advantage and have begun attacking our outposts in the Outer Rim."

"We've managed to hold those outposts, but we did suffer major casualties," said Saesee Tiin who knew they need more reinforcements.

"We'll need to focus on sending reinforcements to those systems then. Hold off the Separatist attacks until…" Master Windu is interrupted when they begin receiving a message from Cin Drallig and his apprentice Serra Keto. "Master Drallig, what is it?"

"I'm sorry to interrupt. But we've received report that a ship carrying six Younglings were reported missing. They were heading to an old Jedi temple site for training with the Jedi Knights Roron Corobb and Roron Corobb," Master Drallig explained. "We received a distress signal when they were attacked by a group of bounty hunters."

"We arrived to the area to rescue them, but by the time we got there it was too late. Both Jedi Knights were injured during the fighting and they informed us the Younglings were taken," Serra finished explaining for her master. "They were taken to the Citadel."

This caused the room in the chamber to become quiet. This was not good at all. Not only were the children taken, but they were taken to the prison designed to break even the strongest Jedi. If these Younglings were taken there then they would not survive.

"But why would these bounty hunters kidnap the Younglings? Why not take the Jedi Knights? It doesn't make any sense," Master Plo Koon asked surprised by what these criminals did.

"Count Dooku is up to something, but what?" Master Luminara asked.

"Hmm unsure we do on why Dooku is doing this. But one thing is for certain…save the Younglings we must," said Master Yoda who didn't want to risk the children being harmed by the Separatist.

"But how? Last time we got lucky getting through their security," said Master Ki-Adi-Mundi recalling the last time the Jedi broke into the prison.

"Master Mundi is right. And this time their security has improved," said Master Shaak Ti recalling hearing how the Separatist made some upgrades to their prison since the last time they were there. "Rescuing the children will not be easy."

Obi Wan though knew there is another way. "We can always ask Zane to help teleport us to the planet. It will allow us to get through their blockade and rescue the children once we find them."

"I though the Power Rangers were too injured," Master Fisto asked. "Surely we're not going to send them in to help us right?"

"I didn't say we'd be sending them," said Obi Wan as he explains what he means. "We have them teleport myself and a small group of Clones to break into the prison. We go in, find the Younglings, and teleport out before anything goes wrong."

"Hmm less riskier than going through the blockade," said Master Yoda who knew this is a better plan than anything else. "Contact Zane we must. Hope he will agree to this and help us rescue the Youngling. Soon I hope before any harm comes to them."

Endor

Jake, Ahsoka, Rick, Barriss, and Rachel are in the infirmary where they are being cared for by Lux. After the fight on Kashyyyk the Power Rangers were brought right back to Endor to recover in the Command Center. Their Zords were also teleported here for repairs. Luckily for the Power Rangers their Zords will make a speedy recovery, but the same can't be said about the Rangers themselves.

Rachel is resting from a possible concussion after hitting her head against her control panel. Rick, Barriss, and Jake were lucky though since they suffered only some bruises. Ahsoka has a few minor bruises, but nothing that will keep her down. Nathan on the other hand…

Zane explained to the Rangers that Nathan's Green Ranger power was more powerful than the other Rangers thanks to the power the original Green Ranger gained. It was transferred to the upgraded Power Coin and it would allow Zane to gain a big power boost. However, it came with a price.

Due to using this power multiple times it has taken its toll on Nathan's body. Even weakens his body if he uses it for too long. In Nathan's case he went beyond his limit and it left his body injured. To the point he'll be out of action for months.

This means he passed his power to his son Jake to once again use until he recovers. Jake didn't like this since once again they couldn't stop the Cerberus Ranger. Even with his dad by their side they couldn't stop him. Even worse their Zords got damaged because of what happened and they won't be ready for another few days.

Time they don't have, especially with what is going on right now. Separatist forces have begun gaining grounds in the galaxy. Taking advantage of their loss on Kashyyyk and spreading more fear in the galaxy. All because they failed…again.

Lux finished caring for Rachel after Alpha showed him how to help the Rangers with their injuries. Alpha had to leave in order to help Zane with fixing the Zords. So, he left the Rangers in the care of their friend. Lux noticed the others looking beaten down and sighed.

"I guess you are all not in a good mood to talk?" he asked as he gets a small sigh from the others. "Look, I get it. We lost again. I know it sucks. Believe it, but we can't let this stop us from going out to help the galaxy."

"We're not," said Rick as he rests on the medical bed. "We're just pissed that we can't beat the Cerberus Ranger. He beat us again and this time even with all of combined we couldn't beat him…again."

"It is making things difficult for us to be cheerful when we lost again and we're letting the galaxy down," said Barriss who wasn't in a cheerful mood herself.

"And not being able to stop him from hurting more innocent people," said Rachel as she sighed softly. "Wish we could have done more."

Lux understood this feeling all too well, especially with all he went through before meeting the others. "Yes, the Cerberus Ranger kicked our ass and yes it does feel like we can't stop him, but…" he then turns to Ahsoka and remembers what she learned from her on Onderon. "But it doesn't mean we should give up. If we do then the Cerberus Ranger wins and he will continue to harm innocent people. I don't care how strong he is I won't give up. And neither should any of you."

Ahsoka turns to Lux and smiled a little. "So, you are saying we should keep fighting then?"

Lux nods in response. "We keep fighting no matter what. We'll beat the Cerberus Ranger and help bring peace to the galaxy. But as long as we don't give up or give in to how bad things have gotten."

Rachel turns to Lux and smiles as she grabs his hand. "May be the concussion talking, but you're right. Not going to let that asshole get away with what he did to dad, the Wookies, and us. We'll stop him and kick his ass."

Jake looks down at his father's morpher with the Dragon coin inside. He remembered his dad telling him how he hesitated to not finish off the Cerberus Ranger because he threatened to kill some nearby Wookie children. This allowed the Cerberus Ranger to injure him. Jake gripped the morpher and knew he couldn't let this bastard get away with what he did.

Not after showing how much of a coward he truly is. He isn't a warrior he is just a bully. He stood up and turns to Lux as he nods head. "Your right. We can't let the Cerberus Ranger get away with this. We will stop him no matter what. And if we go down we'll take him down with us."

Rick slaps the nearby table and points at his friend. "And take his master down with us too while we're at it. We've all lived a fulfilling life."

"No one is going to die," said Zane as he came into the room. "But I do appreciate the fact you are still willing to fight. I'm sorry though I wasn't able to help you all."

"It's okay," said Barriss as she got up from the bed. "We all thought we could handle the Cerberus Ranger. We were wrong, but we'll beat him next time."

"As soon as you all recover from your injuries of course," said Ahsoka knowing the others are still injured.

"Not soon enough I'm afraid," said Zane as he took out a holopad and showed a planet. "Any of you recognize this world?"

Ahsoka immediately recognized it as she approached the hologram. "The Citadel. Zane, why are you showing us this?"

"Because the Jedi Council has asked me to send their team to the planet. It turns out six Jedi Younglings were kidnapped by bounty hunters and brought to the planet," Zane explained as he turns off the hologram. "I'm not sure about doing this since they would need a Ranger in order to teleport them. I was going to ask one of you to go, but since you are all injured…I'll go."

The room got quiet with what Zane just said. They couldn't believe what they just heard. Zane, is going to the Citadel? He is leaving the Command Center?

"Y-you're going?" Jake asked as he was the first to speak up. "You mean you actually are leaving the Command Center to go on this mission"

Zane looks at the expressions of the Rangers and seems confused. "I have left the Command Center before. This shouldn't be too surprising I am leaving it again to help you all out."

"Yeah, but that was to protect the location of the Command Center. This time you're going on an actual mission with the Clones," Rachel pointed out the reason why they are surprised.

"Yeah, isn't that a little…dangerous?" Lux asked. "Not that we're doubting your skills it's just…"

Zane understood why the Rangers are worried and moves his hand up to speak. "I know, but don't worry. This isn't my first time I've been on a mission like this before. I'll be fine while the rest of you get your rest."

Jake and Ahsoka though turn to each other knowing this is still too risky. It also seems odd that these bounty hunters just happened to kidnap the Jedi Younglings after what happened on Kashyyyk. They didn't like this and if Damien finds out Zane is on the planet then he will try to finish him off. Without Zane then nothing can stop Damien from making his presence known to the galaxy.

"No, we'll go," said Jake as she stood by with Ahsoka. "We're not as injured as the others. We can go in, find the Younglings, and get out."

"He's right. I've been to the prison before and I know how to get in," said Ahsoka recalling her mission to the prison.

"No," Zane replied not wanting to risk the health of his Rangers. "You two need to stay here. It will be an easy mission and we'll be out before they know we were there."

"Zane, please let us go instead," said Ahsoka not wanting to risk their friend. "We can do this. Let us go to the Citadel and rescue the Younglings."

Zane looks into the eyes of the two Rangers and sighed knowing they won't take no for an answer. "Fine. But if things go bad I will be watching and will go down myself to help you both."

"We'll be fine," said Jake reassuring Zane they'll be okay as he turns to the others. "Sorry guys. But we need to go do this and…"

Rick moves his hand up interrupting his friend. "We understand. You guys go ahead and help rescue those kids. We'll rest up here and get better."

Rachel nods in agreement. "We'll be okay. Just be careful you two."

Lux agrees with his two friends. "I'll make sure they all get plenty of rest. We'll be here in case you guys need us though."

Jake nods in response as he turns to Zane. "I better go tell my father then."

Zane agrees and goes to take Jake to Nathan. All while Ahsoka took out her communicator to contact Master Kenobi. Before she does though she sees Barriss approaching her. Looking concerned for her friend.

"Ahsoka, you sure about this?" she asked.

Ahsoka nods in response. "I'll be okay. I need to do this to keep Zane from getting found out by Damien."

"That's not what I mean," said Barriss who already know why Ahsoka is doing this. "I am referring to…well I know you told me before what happened at the Citadel. You know, with Master Piell."

"Master Piell?" Lux, Rachel, and Rick asked in unison.

Ahsoka turned to her friends who overheard what was said. She then turns to Barriss and then sighed before she explains.

"Master Piell was a member of the Jedi Council. He was captured by the Separatist and taken to the Citadel because of some important information he had," Ahsoka continued to explain how she went with Anakin and Obi Wan to save the prisoners then get off the planet. "However, during our escape Master Piell was severely wounded and passed the information on to me before he died."

"Ah I see. So, Barriss you worried back will bring back some bad memories?" Rick asked as he gets a nod response from Barriss. "Makes sense. But Ahsoka, I thought you were okay after becoming the White Ranger."

"I am," Ahsoka replied as she turns to Barriss. "I am fine. Yes, going back will bring back some uncomfortable feelings. However, this is different. There are Younglings who are in trouble and if the Council is sending Master Kenobi then I should go too to help him."

Barriss sighed. "All right. But if anything happens you'll contact us?"

Ahsoka nods in response. "I'll be all right. This isn't the first mission I went to where something like this happened…" recalling what happened on Onderon and yet she overcome what happened. "And it probably won't be the last. I've got this."

"Okay, but if you need us then you can contact us," said Lux who like Barriss is concerned for his friend, but he feels she can do this.

"Just be careful at the Citadel," said Rachel wanting her friend and brother to be safe. "And make sure not to do anything crazy. It's just going in and out. Simple."

"Rachel, I think you'll find our missions are never that simple," said Ahsoka as she begins leaving the room to get herself ready.

Rhen Var

Damien is in his chamber taking a sip of his best wine. He was with Vampira, Torus, and his robot soldiers celebrating their little victory. Yes, they didn't destroy the Power Rangers. But they did do something better.

They caused the galaxy to lose hope in them. Thanks to the Cerberus Ranger he managed to not only injure more Rangers, but damage their Zords. Leaving them vulnerable. Damien knew it would take time for the Zords to be fixed and by ten they will have caused a lot of damage.

Damien even freed a new monster and send it off to attack several Republic outposts to help bring more terror to the galaxy. Weakening the Republic forces, but not too much since he knew the old man would be pissed. But just enough to cause people to lose more hope in the Power Rangers, while making Palpatine stronger by having him be viewed as the only one who can help stop Damien. A nice little lie that Damien was willing to swallow.

"A toast my loyal worthless scum!" Damien raised his glass as his followers lifted theirs, while his two monsters laughed. "Not only did our loyal knight defeat the Power Rangers a second time, but is squashing down any hope the galaxy ever had in them!"

The two monsters and the robots cheered knowing this is true.

Damien took a sip of his drink before he begins walking down to his followers. "You know, when I was freed from my prison I thought about going back to our old universe. But then the more I thought about it the more I realized if I did that then…why? Why go back to a galaxy where there are probably thousands of these pesky Power Rangers. Why go back and deal with these teenagers and their pesky hope?"

"Not us!" Torus shouted.

Damien turns to him and points to his general. "Exactly! Sure, when we started our conquest here we hit a few bumpy roads. But we still made sure the galaxy feared us, run from us, and surrender when we take their world. There were those though that still resisted us and believed with the Power Rangers they would be safe. Well, not anymore."

Vampira raised her glass and gave her toast. "To you, Master Damien! The Monarch of Evil and soon ruler of the…"

Suddenly Count Dooku appeared in hologram form. "Good evening, Damien. I am not interrupting anything am I?"

Damien sighed as he puts his glass down and turns to Dooku. "I was in the middle of a little celebration, but it is fine. What can I do for you, Dooku?"

"I want to first congratulate you on your success on Kashyyyk," said Count Dooku giving Damien what he deserved. "I have been impressed with how well your Cerberus Ranger has been doing since he first arrived. However, my master wishes for you to halt using him for any more attacks on Republic worlds."

"To help make him look like the hero by retaking worlds that I took back to the Republic," said Damien understanding the plan. "I am aware of this and I have ordered my forces to pull back. While leaving a small number to help the Republic destroy them."

"Very good. Now there is something else I need to ask you. I am sure you aware of the prison called the Citadel?" Count Dooku asked.

Damien remembered hearing the prison planet before and smiles. "The planet where you break Jedi. Hmm sounds like a fun place, but why bring this up?"

"Since you weren't aware of this the prison has acquired some new inmates. Six Jedi Younglings," Count Dooku explained that his master has these children kidnapped so he can experiment on them. "However, my master believes the Jedi will mount a rescue team and the Power Rangers will get involved."

Damien sat down on his throne and sighed. "Well, knowing how tough the security is I'm sure Zane will teleport them to the planet. So, it is very likely."

"That is why it is time to finish them off. I want you to sent your Cerberus Ranger to finish them off," said Count Dooku knowing how weakened the Power Rangers have become now is a good time to destroy them.

Damien swirls his drink in his glass looking rather sad. "I know and such a shame too. I was hoping to continue this little game of ours. But alas you are right. I shall sent the Cerberus Ranger once the Rangers reveal themselves. For now…HARPY!"

A loud caw can be heard as a humanoid bird woman flew through the open balcony and lands before her master. She has long red hair, red feathers, talon hands/feet, pointy ears, fair skin, blue eyes, and hear face appears bird-like. She also appears to be wearing gold armour on her chest and legs. While under the suit also appears she is wearing a purple skin tight suit.

"What can I do for you, my master," Harpy asked as she bows her head before her master.

"You will go to the Citadel, lure the Power Rangers out, and when the Cerberus Ranger arrives…kill them," Damien ordered as he moves his hand up and teleports his Harpy to the Citadel before turning to Dooku. "While we're at it why not send the Tenga Warriors as well? As much as I would love to send my forces to the planet I think you should let your bids have some fun as well?"

Count Dooku likes that idea, especially how he hasn't used his Tenga Warriors much except train them. "I believe this would be a good test for them. I have been teaching them how to fight in the same style as the Jedi."

"Good then let us finish the Power Rangers off," said Damien as Count Dooku disappeared. Once he was gone Damien's expression turned to a serious one as he finished taking his drink before tossing it away.

"Master? What is wrong?" Vampira asked confused on why her master is mad.

"Yeah. I thought you wanted to destroy the Power Rangers?" Torus asked wondering the same thing as Vampira is.

"I do want them destroyed and I want them to suffer…suffer for all Zane has done to me, but…" Damien stopped speaking and sighed before he turns to his followers. "I was hoping that by this time Mother Talzin would have found my queen. That she would have found her and freed her so she can be by my side when I finally destroy…"

"The Power Rangers?" Mother Talzin appeared in the room as she approached Damien. "Ask and you shall receive. I have found your queen. She is on the planet of Iego and I can free her, but for this I require your monsters to help me with the spell I need to break her free."

Damien turns to his two generals and smiles. "Take as much as you need. Just bring me my queen so I can begin the next phase of my plan. In fact…" Damien turns to his globe and sees the image of the Citadel in it. "Is he ready? I don't want what happened on Kashyyyk to happen again."

"Do not worry. I have supressed any more memories from surfacing again," Mother Talzin explained.

"Good, because if all goes according to plan then soon the galaxy will belong to me," said Damien as he begins laughing evilly as it echoes across the room.

End of the chapter and Damien has a queen? Whaaaaat?! Who is this queen? And does Zane know about it?

Also, it seems our two Rangers are off to save the six Younglings? Gee, I wonder who they are? Honestly, you guys probably already know who they are? But will they be able to save them or will the Power Rangers fall into Damien's trap?
