At the center of the universe, at the point where
all magic and life began, there were born two worlds.
Eternia and Etheria.
Twin planets encircling Adarion, an ageless ember of the
great beginning, sister worlds that were born to always be
a pair, each circling their parent star on the same course.
Reflections of each other, the anchors of magic in the
cosmos for all Eternity.
The Eyes of the Universe.
And then he came.
Hordak.
A being from beyond the outer realms of the universe,
who fed on the terror he spread. An eldritch abomination,
born of the Darkness before the Light, he would seek to
return the cosmos to eternal night.
It was upon Eternia that his crusade was halted, as he
and the champion of the Castle Eternal, D'vann Grayskull,
would clash at the very doors of the castle. Though the
brave king would fall, his death was not in vain, and Hordak
would be cast into the very portal his forces summoned into
the Void of Despondos. It is there, for millennia, he has remained.
But he has not given up. One of the Eyes has been taken.
Etheria vanished into Despondos, to become a world conquered,
a world divided by rebellion.
Those that would oppose Hordak must now unite, to discover the
lost past and reveal a hope for the future...and to uncover
the Secret of the Sword.
