Chapter 66 is here guys and I hope everyone is ready for the new chapter. Think of this and the next one as the calm before the storm. The aftermath of the last chapter and then one more before we get near the end. I should also explain no not the end of the story, but the end of this first season of the story.
For now though just sit back and relax guys. Last time we saw Obi Wan becoming the new ninth Power Ranger. The Silver Ranger and has Titanus. Does this mean what I think it means?
You better believe it. Also, Jake gained a new upgrade thanks to the Warrior. Defeated Anakin, but General Arachnia escaped with him. Torus is dead leaving Damien with only two generals left. How are things going to go before Damien's end-game?
Will the Power Rangers be able to stop him? Will they figure out what Damien is planning? Will they also find a way to save Anakin? And will Padme find out?

The Cerberus Knight Part XIII
Coruscant
A day has passed since the attack on Coruscant. The Separatist took credit for the attack and claims it was a new invention they were working on with Damien. Allowing their army to arrive on other worlds and passing by any blockade. This of course caused a panic in the galaxy as the senators all gathered together in the senate to discuss about the attack.
All while the Jedi Council also have their own meeting to discuss about what happened. Not just about Damien attacking Coruscant, but two other matters. One is finding out Anakin Skywalker is the Cerberus Ranger and is under Damien's control. The other is finding out three of their own Jedi are Power Rangers.
So, while the Council have their meeting, Jake, Barriss, and Obi Wan are off caring for Ahsoka. Thanks to her suit she didn't suffer any serious life-threatening injuries. Just multiple injured ribs and bruises along her chest. She will need to rest up for a few weeks, which means no missions for her.
Ahsoka began to wake up as she lets out a loud groan. Her vision though was blurry and couldn't see very well. However, she could still hear. She can hear Jake calling out to her and holding her hand, which she grasp when she knew he is here.
"J-Jake? What happened? Where am I?" she asked as her vision began getting clear.
"It's okay. You're safe," said Jake as he reassured Ahsoka. "How you feeling?"
Ahsoka groaned softly as she tried to move, but was unable to lift herself. "I feel like my whole body is sore. What happened? How did I…" soon her memory of Anakin and the Cerberus Ranger came back as she tried sitting up. "Anakin!" she soon regretted that as she yells in pain.
"Ahsoka! You need to lay down," said Barriss as she helps her friend lay back down on the bed. "You are badly hurt. You need time to rest before you can move."
"B-but Anakin. Where is he?" Ahsoka asked looking around wondering where her master is as she turns to Obi Wan. "Master, where is Anakin?"
Obi Wan sighed as he took a step forward until he is in front of the bed. "Ahsoka, relax and we'll explain everything."
Obi Wan began explaining what happened after Anakin or rather the evil within Anakin did. From the darkness that was within Anakin since he was young, to what he did on Tatooine, and how it grew during the Clone Wars. Thanks to Damien he was able to free the darkness within him. Helping it manifest and take over Anakin.
Becoming the Cerberus Ranger and keeps the good side buried under all the darkness. Obi Wan also explains that Jake was able to save them from the Cerberus Ranger when he received a power boost from the Warrior. Jake defeated him in combat and freed him from Damien's control. However, Anakin got away thanks to Damien's new general, Arachnia.
Ahsoka sighed as she looks up at the ceiling processing all this information. "So, it is true then. Anakin is under Damien's control. And all because of everything he has gone through…" she still couldn't believe the man she looked up to had so much anger and hatred in him without her knowing or perhaps not wanting to know about it. "Why do you think he didn't tell me about what happened to his mother?"
Obi Wan sighed as he crossed his arms before looking down. "Perhaps he felt this was something he needed to keep to himself. That he blames himself for what happened. That if he was stronger he could have saved her…" but from what the darkness within Anakin told Obi Wan it was something else. "In any case, whatever his reason is it doesn't matter. What does matter is we need to find him and save him before the darkness consumes him completely."
"But how?" Barriss asked as she speaks up while listening to the others. "I mean, if you two…" points to Obi Wan and Ahsoka. "Couldn't bring him back from the darkness then how can you save him?"
Both Ahsoka and Obi Wan knew it is true. Anakin couldn't come back to them even when he saw them both. For Ahsoka there was a glimmer of hope. But not enough to bring him back completely.
Jake though knew there is only one person that can do it. "Padme," he said her name catching the attention of the others. "When I mentioned her and how it sounds like something happened to him the good side of Anakin came back. I think if we have her with us next time then the real Anakin can come back. Giving us enough time to get the power coin to free him from the darkness."
"Hold on a second," Obi Wan spoke up clearly having concerns about this plan. "I know you told us what happened when you mentioned Padme to Anakin, but it's too risky. Remember she's pregnant and if the darkness sees her he will try to harm her before the good within Anakin can stop it."
"But master, Jake is right," Ahsoka spoke up defending Jake's plan. "I know how close Anakin and Padme are. I know Anakin wouldn't try harming her. Even if the darkness within him tries I know the moment he sees her and she tells him she is pregnant the real Anakin will break free."
"But it's too risky," said Barriss who agrees with Obi Wan's concerns. "There is no guaranteeing that the darkness within him won't try harming Senator Amidala. I would rather not risk getting her hurt, especially since now we have a better chance of weakening him thanks to Jake's new power."
"New power?" Ahsoka asked confused by what Barriss meant as she turns to Jake.
Jake began explaining to her that he fought the Warrior earlier before saving the others from the Cerberus Ranger. That the Warrior gave him a Zeo Crystal that he had when he was once human before Damien cursed him to be his slave. Jake used this new power to defeat the Cerberus Ranger. But not before he was saved by Arachnia.
"I see," said Ahsoka amazed to hear that the Warrior wasn't made by Damien like the others. "Well, that is another option we can do. But I would rather we didn't try hurting Anakin to the point he is badly injured. I would like it if we try our plan first before we do that."
Obi Wan sighed as he looks up at Ahsoka and strokes his beard thinking about this plan. "You do realize it would mean telling Padme that Anakin is the Cerberus Ranger, right?"
Ahsoka almost forgot about that. She forgot they never told Padme the truth about Anakin being alive, much less that he is the Cerberus Ranger. But if she wants to save him without trying to kill him she will need to tell her. She's going to find out eventually anyways.
"I-I'll tell her," said Ahsoka as she tried to get up, but Jake kept her from moving.
"Or we can have my parents tell her," Jake suggested. "So that way you won't get hurt while trying to tell her."
Obi Wan nods in agreement. "Jake is right. I'll contact Nathan once Zane finishes his meeting with the Council."
"Zane is with the Council?" Ahsoka asked confused even more and realizing she has missed a lot while being unconscious. "Did I miss something? Why is he here?"
Barriss sighed as she begins telling her friend everything. "Master Shaak Ti and Master Depa Billaba both saw you power down after Anakin attacked you. The Council wanted to speak to Zane about this since they weren't happy that he recruited you without letting them know."
"D-does this mean they also know about the others too?" Ahsoka asked wondering if Zane told them who the other Rangers are.
Jake shook his head in response. "Barriss revealed to them she's the Yellow Ranger to try defending you. Claiming you both chose this path and I snuck in here while I was still in my Red Ranger suit."
Ahsoka turns to Barriss and smiles a little. "You didn't need to do that."
Barriss shook her head in response before smiling at her friend. "We're friends, Ahsoka. We're in this together," she then turns to Jake. "No matter what."
Jake nods in agreement. "Very true. And if they don't like it then that's their problem."
The three Rangers all laugh together for a moment before Ahsoka realizes something is wrong. "Hold on. Master Kenobi?" she gets the attention of Obi Wan. "If there's a meeting going on, why aren't you there?"
Obi Wan was wondering when Ahsoka would ask that. He pulls out a morpher from behind and shows it to Ahsoka who looks surprised by this.
"Like Barriss said, we're in this together," Obi Wan replied before looking down at his morpher and smiles a little. "I also think they have enough to deal with after finding out one of their own Council members is a Ranger and Master Yoda was aware of all of this."
"Oh? Master Yoda told them he knew?" Ahsoka asked as she begins laughing a little. "I wonder how that's all going."
"I can only imagine it's not going very well," said Jake who figures the Jedi are not happy being lied to, especially from Master Yoda.
Meanwhile
The Council is seen speaking with Zane and Master Yoda. They are clearly not happy finding out that two of their own Jedi are secretly working as the Power Rangers. Not only that, but Master Yoda was aware of all of this. Hence the reason why he isn't in his seat and is seen next to Zane.
Obi Wan was also not among the Council due to confessing he is one of the Power Rangers as well. Saesee Tiin and Agen Kolar were also not with the Council after they were killed by the Cerberus Ranger. Who the Council were told was Anakin Skywalker. However, the focus of the Council was more on Zane and Master Yoda lying about the identities of the Rangers.
"Master Yoda, why didn't you tell us that Ahsoka Tano and Barriss Offee being part of the Power Rangers?" Master Windu asked.
"Hmm asked me you didn't on who the Power Rangers are," Master Yoda replied before he continued. "Asked to keep their secret I was by Ahsoka and Barriss. Protect their identities important it is from their enemies."
"We understand that, Master Yoda," Master Stass Allie spoke up next. "But you still should have told us this."
"Agree with that I do," Master Yoda replied not denying the Council should have known. "For a long time I knew of this. Kept this a secret for Zane because of all the good he and the Power Rangers have done. Helping the innocent and fighting our enemies without any restraints. Owe him and his Rangers I did for their own safety."
"Their own safety?" Master Kit Fisto asked.
Master Yoda nods in response as he looks around the Jedi. "Have no connections or love ones none of us have. Understand we do not what the Power Rangers risk for those who have love ones to protect. Find out their enemies do and become targets they will become. Protect their identity important it is and kept them we did for their safety."
Zane turns to the other Jedi and sighed knowing they probably won't understand this. "I know many of you are not happy for the lies and the secrecy. I understand and believe me I didn't brainwash your own into joining me. That's not what I did. I gave them all choices to either join me or not."
"If they chose to become Rangers then that was good. If not then I would return them to their normal lives without remember meeting me," Zane continued to explain. "Barriss and Ahsoka both chose this path they are on to help people. As for Obi Wan, I actually didn't ask him to join us. The power chose him. It came to him and accepted him to take the power."
"You make it seem like this power has a mind of its own," said Master Windu.
Zane begins smiling a little. "Because it is. Much like the Force the power coins the Rangers use have sort of a life of their own."
Zane though could tell some of the Jedi didn't understand this well or maybe weren't sure if they trust what he is saying.
"I understand that, but please know this didn't mean we didn't trust you. We just weren't ready to reveal ourselves to you all," he stops for a moment before turning to Master Yoda. "To be honest, the only one I trusted when I first got to this galaxy was Master Yoda. I was still new around here and needed help."
"So, I turned to him for help and he was able to tell me everything about this galaxy. I was glad for this and in return I helped him with anything the Jedi Order needed. Whether it is fighting against a slavery empire, crime lords, or stopping a galactic war from breaking out we were there to help. However, I wasn't ready to let the whole galaxy know of our existence and made sure to keep my Rangers a secret from everyone."
"As time passed though many of my Rangers retired and I decided to return in the shadows. Mostly because of how things were going in the galaxy and I thought maybe the Jedi could handle the rest. However, when I woke up again I realize that didn't go like I had hoped."
"You mean the Clone Wars?" Master Luminara asked as she got a nod from Zane. "Tell me, Zane. Do you blame the Jedi for this war breaking out?"
Zane turns to the Jedi and shook his head in response. "However, it doesn't mean I don't think you being in this war is the best idea. I sensed since this war began many of you are not as connected to the Force as before. You are unbalanced, you have allowed the Dark Side to continue to manipulate you all, cloud your visions, and give your enemies more of an advantage by sending so many young Jedi to fight. Exposing them to the violence, the suffering, and mental trauma that they were never trained to deal with."
Zane sighed as he remembers what Barriss told him and how if she hadn't joined him she probably would have lost her way like the Jedi have too.
"I understand you want to help people and restore peace, but not this way. Not with the loss of life of so many young children who aren't ready for this kind of violence," said Zane as he shook his head with how many lives have been lost. How Ahsoka survived this is a miracle.
Before any of the Jedi could speak, Zane continued. "The Jedi are supposed to be peace keepers, not soldiers. Yet that is what you all have become. Weapons to be used for the Republic and the hate the people have given you all to be honest is deserving. And the longer you continue being in this war the less of you there will be to restore balance…if it can even be restored."
The Council remained silent for a moment knowing what Zane said is true. Ever since this war began so many of their own have been killed and suffered. In fact it has even caused one of their own to turn to the Dark Side. Helping Count Dooku and killing much of their army.
They only joined the war to try keeping the peace and restore the balance. But with how things are going now they aren't so sure anymore. Thanks to this war their visions of the future has been clouded by the Dark Side. So much so they can't see where this path they are on will lead them.
Master Yoda breaks the silence as he speaks up next. "Understand Zane's reason I do on not trusting the Jedi Order with the secret of the Power Rangers. Lost our way we have and decide we must on what to do. This matter resolve we must later. For now though, agree we do that we will allow the others to continue being Power Rangers?"
Much of the Council weren't so sure about this since they still think they should discuss this some more. However, they knew there isn't much they can do. Technically speaking Ahsoka and Barriss didn't break any rules. Yes, they lied, but they had good reasons for it.
Plus they did save many lives in the process and by all account didn't break any of their rules while being Power Rangers. So, there isn't much they can do.
Master Windu lets out a small sigh before he nods in response. "Provided you let us know about anymore missions we will allow this."
Zane is glad to hear this. He knew the others now won't have to worry about hiding this from the Council. At least Ahsoka and Barriss won't have to worry. Since the Council don't know the identities of the other Rangers.
"Now that we have that out of the way, shall we discuss now about Skywalker?" Master Shaak Ti asked as she brings up now their real problem. "Zane, please tell us. Has Skywalker fallen to the Dark Side?"
Zane looks at each of the Jedi and sighed before he replied. "From what Obi Wan told me yes and no. No, he hasn't fallen to the Dark Side, but yes the darkness within him has."
Zane explains how for a long time now Anakin had this rage, anger, and hatred bottled up inside of him. It has grown in him since he became a Jedi and after what happened to his mother. The Clone Wars also helped the darkness grow. Allowing it to take life when Damien captured Anakin.
"This darkness within Anakin has taken over and serves Damien as his pawn. However, from what the Red Ranger told me there is still good in Skywalker, but it is trapped within the darkness. If we can remove the power coin from the morpher and purify it then he will be free of he darkness. However, we'll need to weaken him first to do this."
"Not an easy task," said Master Billaba knowing how strong the Cerberus Ranger is. "Even if we do free him though there is no guaranteeing he won't return to normal, right?"
Zane lets out a small sad sigh as he shook his head. "I'm sure Skywalker is aware of all the terrible things he has done. Even if we do free him we'll need to keep him somewhere safe and help him recover. However, we'll worry about that when we cross that bridge. For now we have to prepare for Damien's invasion on Almora."
"Are we sure his endgame will be on Almora?" Master Plo Koon asked. "I would think he would unleash his full army on Coruscant again. Why attack Almora?"
"A bigger threat Almora is," Master Yoda spoke up next. "For many centuries, Almora has been seen as a threat by our enemies. Thanks to its military, its technology, and its people attacked they have been. From pirates, crime organizations, and even the Sith. A threat Almora is to all enemies who wish to conquer the galaxy."
Zane nods in agreement. "Damien knows the full strength of the Republic and sees you are no threat to him at all. This attack on Coruscant is his warm-up match before the big one. The attack on Almora before gave him a preview of how strong the military forces they have there are. I have no doubt he will find Almora a difficult planet to fight in a long-standing fight so why not take them out sooner?"
"And with their festivities coming up it will be a perfect time to strike," said Master Mundi knowing some of Almora's forces have left to fight in the war.
"That is why I have asked Master Yoda to warn Senator Nite and her father of the upcoming fight. So they will be prepared and to see if they will allow Republic support," said Zane knowing Damien will send out his full army to take over the planet. "Though with Tiberous I don't think he'll accept."
"We'll speak with him," said Master Windu as he turns to the other Jedi. "For now we'll need to inform the Chancellor and hope he'll help send some ships to Almora."
"Thank you," said Zane as he thanks the Jedi. "Well, I must go now," he turns to Master Yoda and bows his head. "I hope next time we meet it won't be like this."
Master Yoda chuckles a little as he bows his head in return. "Agree with you I do."
Zane nods before he contacts Alpha and soon teleports out of the room in a bright gold glow. Once he was gone the Jedi decide to conclude their meeting. They begin to all leave one by one until it was down to Master Windu and Yoda. As Yoda prepares to leave he sensed Master Windu has something on his mind.
"Something else to ask, Master Windu?" Master Yoda asked without turning to face the Jedi.
Master Windu turns to Master Yoda and nods before he speaks. "You've known each other for a long time. You kept his secret, you helped him, and I assume you also recruited other Jedi to join him."
Master Yoda turns to the Jedi Master and shook his head. "Recruit, I did not. Spoke to those I felt could carry the power and use them for good. As Zane explained speak with them to give them he did and offer the power to them. If choose the power they can use it, but if not then return to us they would."
Master Windu understood this, but it still felt like he recruited them anyways. "Aren't you concerned though? That if someone like Skywalker could become corrupted with this power that it won't happen to the others?"
Master Yoda sighed as he nods in response. "Concerned I am, but believe in them I do. Unlike Skywalker he was forced to become a slave to Damien. The others though a strong bond they have. A bond that I have seen in action myself they have used to help defeat their enemy time and time again."
"A bond that can easily be used against them and lure them to the Dark Side," said Master Windu concerned about this.
Master Yoda knew this was true, but with all he has seen he isn't so sure anymore. "Perhaps in time prove us wrong they will. And perhaps if they do then time for the Order to change its way. For the better."
As Master Yoda begins to leave Master Windu asks him one more question. "Master? Who else were the Power Rangers before Tano and Offee?"
Master Yoda turns his head to Master Windu and smiled once more. "Master Tahl and Master Qui-Gon Jinn."
Meanwhile
Padme is seen in her apartment where is speaking with Alexis and Nathan. After the fighting the apartment of the Nites was left damaged so they needed a place to stay. So, Padme offered them her place so they can stay there. This was good for them and gave them the opportunity to tell Padme the truth about Anakin.
They got word earlier about everything that happened and were told to tell Padme the truth.
Alexis didn't want to tell Padme, but Nathan insisted they tell her. She needed to know now before she finds out too late. So, they told her everything. How Anakin is alive, was captured by Damien, and is now the Cerberus Ranger.
Once they finished they waited to let all of this information sink in with Padme. She sat in her seat completely silent. She couldn't believe it. She didn't want to believe it, but she knew Alexis wouldn't lie to her about something like this.
"Anakin…he's alive," Padme finally spoke breaking the silence. "I can't believe it. All this time and…" she then turns to her godparents. "And you are sure about this?"
Nathan nods in response. "Ahsoka, Obi Wan, and Jake confirmed it. Anakin is alive and under Damien's control."
Padme should be happy Anakin is alive, but when she was told Damien has him she became worried. They explained that all the hatred, anger, rage, and darkness within Anakin has taken over. Obeying Damien and doing whatever he wanted. Even trying to kill the people close to Anakin.
"Y-you are going to try to save him, right?" Padme asked towards Nathan.
Nathan nods in response and gives her a reassuring smile. "You know we will. We'll bring him back from the darkness, but it won't be easy. He's very powerful and won't hesitate to try killing us. So, we'll try, but it will be a challenge."
Padme doesn't doubt it, but she knows her godfather will try. "Thank you."
Alexis gets up and sits next to Padme. "Padme, why didn't you tell us about what Anakin did on Tatooine? Regarding the Tusken Raiders, his mother, and murdering them all?"
Padme remembers them mentioning how the darkness within Anakin was first unleashed on Tatooine after his mother died. She also remembers when Anakin came back appearing cold, emotionless, and without a shred of remorse for what he did. He also seem to have blamed everyone else for the death of his mother. And how he vowed he would become more powerful to make sure no one else he loves dies.
This scared Padme. She did love him, but that outburst scared her since she never saw him like that before. She decided to keep it a secret for Anakin since she knew if the Council found out they would punish him. She knew it would eventually come out, but she didn't expect it so soon.
Padme lets out a small sigh and turns to her friend. "He was in so much pain after what happened to his mother. I know it doesn't excuse him murdering an entire village, but I was worried if the Council knew they would punish him. I should have told Obi Wan who maybe could have helped him. But with the war breaking out I…I never got a chance to tell him."
Alexis knew Anakin should have been punished for this or at least seek help. This is why she never liked the rules of the Jedi Order. Being told to keep those emotions bottled up and not form any attachments. Just to be a cold emotionless person so you won't fall to the Dark Side.
Pure bullshit in her view. She knows keeping those emotions bottled up will end up causing them to fall to the darkness. Just like with Anakin. Never having a chance to let out all those emotions, especially at the age he is told he needed to lock them up…she knew eventually he would snap.
Nathan walks over and sits down next to Padme. "Listen. Jake and Ahsoka think there is a way to save him. During his fight, Jake mentioned you to Anakin. Now he didn't mention the baby, but when he made it seem something was wrong with you the good side of Anakin came back."
"I-it did?" Padme was happy to hear that and it gave her hope the real Anakin is still in there.
Nathan nods in response. "Now, some of the others think this plan Jake and Ahsoka made is crazy. That we shouldn't do this and…"
"I'll do it," said Padme interrupting Jake.
"I wasn't finished though," said Nathan who didn't tell her what they had planned.
Padme though already knew what their plan is the moment they mentioned her. "You want me to be there next time you fight Anakin. That you are hoping if I am there it will bring out the good side of Anakin and then you all can free him from whatever control Damien has on him…right?"
Nathan didn't say anything since he knew everything Padme said was correct. Alexis began smiling as she placed her hand on her goddaughter's hand.
"I taught you well," said Alexis proud of Padme for figuring it all out so quickly. "Now, I told my husband we shouldn't do this since you or the baby might get hurt. So, I suggested we have a hologram of you to help distract him. Allowing us to keep him distracted so we can get the power coin from Anakin."
Padme though shook her head in response. "No. I need to do this," she replied insisting on going through with the first plan. "Anakin is my husband. He is the father of my child. I need to be there to help save him just like he has helped save me before. I won't sit by and hide somewhere while you all risk your lives."
"But what about the baby?" Alexis asked concerned for the safety of the child. "What if this plan doesn't work and the darkness within Anakin tries to kill you?"
"He won't," said Padme who knows Anakin better than anyone. "He would never harm me. I know it and if I tell him about our child then he will come back to us."
Padme can see though Alexis isn't convinced of this so she tries something else. "Alexis, please. I need to do this. I know you would do the same thing in my position if Nathan turned evil. Right?"
Alexis' expression changed as she turns to Nathan who knew she would indeed do what Padme wants to do. To risk everything to save the one she loves. Alexis sighed as she leans back against her seat knowing she won't be able to stop Padme. Well, no she could, but it wouldn't be right.
"Fine," said Alexis giving in to the plan. "But I have some conditions."
"Name them," said Padme who didn't care what they are as long as she is there to save Anakin.
"First of all we need you to stay with Zane for the next few weeks. If I know Damien he will try to come after you to keep you from saving his slave," said Alexis recalling what Zane told them about wanting to keep Padme safe. "Secondly, if we do confront him you will stay with me. I'm not going to let my goddaughter go off into the battlefield without someone being there. And three you wear some sort of protection so you won't get hurt."
Padme didn't like the idea of being locked up somewhere since she can take care of herself. But she knew Alexis is right. If Damien knows how they can free Anakin he will do everything he can to kill her. So, she will need to accept these terms.
"Very well. I'll go inform the queen that I'm not feeling well and will need time off," said Padme who should also try seeing if they can keep an eye on her family as well. "When do we leave?"
"The sooner the better," said Alexis who feels they should leave before something happens soon. "I will let Zane know and also tell the senate I'll be leaving. Need to get everything ready for the festivities and Damien's attack."
Padme recalls Nathan mentioning this earlier and turns towards him. "Do you really think Damien will attack Almora?"
Nathan sighed as he wasn't sure if what they were told is true or not. "We won't take any chances. If Damien is going to attack we need to be ready for it. We got a few weeks so let's hope we got everything set up by then."
"I wouldn't worry about it. I know Tiberous will take any threat seriously and make sure our army is ready," Alexis knows her brother doesn't like the Rangers or cares about Damien, but if he is threatening their home he will defend it with his life.
Almora
The King, Ronin is seen in his library where he is going over their plans on the upcoming fight. Ronin was informed by his daughter that Damien will attack Almora during their anniversary festival. Ronin took this threat seriously, especially after the attack on Coruscant. He pass the information on to his son and his generals as they go over the possible attacks.
He thought about cancelling the festival, but he knew it didn't matter if he did. Damien would still probably attack them. But if he does go through with it without letting the enemy know then they can catch them off-guard. He knew their shield over their world will protect them from any bombardment.
Also thanks to their new invention they will be able to prevent Damien from teleporting his army to their world. So, he will have no choice but to attack them from orbit. However, just in case he went over plans to evacuate the people should the fighting break out. After the invasion from Count Dooku the king build more secured bunkers around the city to help the people get to safety.
The door to the room opened and Ronin sees his son coming into the room. "Tiberous, I take it you finished informing your army of the impending invasion."
Tiberous sighed as he walks over near his father. "I did. Although, I do wish you had come to me before you made these decisions. I don't like that you are doing this base off of what Alexis told you."
"I don't doubt the information where Alexis got this," said King Ronin as he looks over the hologram of their city on his holopad. "And after what happened at Coruscant I'm not going to take any chances. I want our security beefed up before the festival and I want to make sure our army is combat ready."
"They are always combat ready," Tiberous replied. "I'll make sure our army is ready though. Just as long as the Power Rangers stay out of the way."
"Tiberous, we're going to need them," said King Ronin knowing they can't take any chances with Damien and his army. He looks up noticing the time on the clock. "I'll be right back. I need to go speak with our people and discuss the events of the festival," the king hands his son over the holopad. "Go over the security plans and see if there are any changes that we can make to them. I'll be counting on you."
Ronin soon leaves the room leaving Tiberous alone. He lets out a small sigh before he looks over the plans. After a minute he hears what sounds like a piano being played nearby. He quickly turns around with his weapon in hand as he sees a shadowy figure playing the piano.
"We'll meet again. Don't know where, don't know when, but I know we'll meet again. Some sunny day," the figure is soon revealed to be Damien as he is seen playing the piano. "You have such a lovely piano. It is kept so clean, the keys are smooth, and it seems it is kept in such fine condition."
Tiberous though didn't seem very happy to see Damien or where he is at. "You have five seconds to get away from that piano or else I will kill you."
Damien stops playing and could tell how serious Tiberous is. Damien shrugs his shoulders before getting off the seat.
"Not a big fan of music?" Damien asked as he turns to Tiberous. "Or does it belong to someone close to you?"
Tiberous didn't respond and just walks over to close the fall board down on the keyboard. "Care to explain yourself?"
Damien walks over near the bookshelves before responding. "You'll need to be specific on what you are upset about."
"I mean about our deal. You said if I helped you then you would stay away from Almora," said Tiberous recalling their agreement. "I would help you against the Power Rangers and you would make me king. Not bring your entire army to my world to destroy it."
"Oh that," said Damien as he turns to Tiberous. "Out of curiosity how did you find out about my plan?" he asked while taking a book to read.
Tiberous though walks over and takes the book away. "If you think I'll let you destroy my world you better think again."
Damien though didn't appreciate this threat and grabs Tiberous by the throat before slamming him against the bookcase. Tiberous tries to shoot Damien until he felt his neck burning.
"Choose your words carefully, Tiberous," Damien replied in a dark tone before dropping Tiberous so he can breathe and check his neck. "Otherwise you'll end up getting burned."
Damien grabs the book and begins walking to the middle of the room. "Circumstances changed my plan. I will need to attack Almora in order to send a message to the galaxy so they will submit. Don't worry though. I will still make you king once I kill off your whole family."
Tiberous got up slowly and glares at Damien. "Except my father."
"Oh? Change of heart?" Damien asked as he sat down on a nearby seat.
"No," Tiberous replied before clearing his throat. "I want him alive so he will see how much better Almora will be under my rule. So he will understand I can rule this world better than he would. Do what you want with my sister and her family. But leave my father alive."
"Hmm I suppose that can be arranged," said Damien as he takes a look at the book. "And as promised your people will not be harmed. Well, except maybe a bit of your army. Need to shed a little blood here and there. But remember, I'll need your help to deal with the Power Rangers."
"Because of what happened to your weak general?" Tiberous replied recalling hearing about the death of one of Damien's generals. "I already planned to get involved anyways. Leave the Green Ranger to me. The rest will be yours."
"I actually have plans with Zane and I will have Vampira deal with your sister," said Damien as he puts the book down. "As far as the Rangers I already have something in mind. For now though, relax, enjoy your time with your family, and once the festival is over you will rise as the king of the world. However, should you fail me…your world will burn."
Damien soon vanishes from the room leaving Tiberous alone. He walks over to grab the book and puts it away while rubbing his neck where he got burned. He lets out an angry sigh before he begins leaving the room. "Watch yourself, Damien. I'm not someone that you should underestimate or let your guard down."
He pulls out a red/black device with seven buttons on it with each one having different symbols on them. "And Nathan, you better be ready because you're not the only one with a monster hidden on Almora."
Looks like Darth Sidious isn't the only one who has a plan against Damien. Still, being a former Power Ranger I'm sure whatever it is will be good. It also looks like Padme is willing to take whatever risks necessary to save Anakin. Will she succeed?
Will the Power Rangers be able to stop Anakin and bring him back from the darkness? Will the Jedi also consider perhaps changing the rules once the fighting is over? If they all survive that is. And what will happen when Obi Wan teams up with the others to fight with them against Damien?
Also what I wrote for Alexis. Yeah, honestly I never liked the Jedi Code and felt keeping your emotions inside is a terrible thing to do, especially how it can be used against you. It can hurt the person who keeps those feelings bottled up and when they come out it will be like a volcano erupting. That is why meditation doesn't always work and why I always suggest finding other ways to let your feelings out.
Some tips for those who get very angry or stressful with what they go through with your lives: 1. Go out for a nice walk where you can clear your mind, 2. Listen to a favourite music or watching a favourite movie or favourite video game to take your mind off the problem, 3. A nice hot bath, 4. Writing or typing your feelings, and 5. Playing talking to a friend. Just some ways to help deal with problems if you are all interested. Also, will see you all next time for the next chapter.
