The Cerberus Knight Part XIV
Coruscant
A few weeks passed since the attack on Coruscant. Much of the buildings have been rebuild, the citizens have been able to move on, but security has become tight around the planet. Zane had placed his machines around the planet to keep Damien from opening another portal to this world. Just in case he does try unleashing another attack.
Despite the attack the citizens of the Republic managed to go back to the way things were. Though things appeared to have gotten better since the attack did open up more jobs for the citizens to help rebuild. It also opened up for law enforcement since many of the patrol droids were destroyed. It also didn't help that many Clones were killed, which caused the Republic to wait until more were made.
For the Jedi though things have been very busy, especially knowing what is going to happen in tomorrow. The anniversary of Almora's victory over the Sith. It is coming up soon and if what they were told is true there is where Damien will unleash his army. To destroy Almora and take over.
They informed the Chancellor about this and he agreed to send a fleet to the planet. However, they will need to remain outside the system since they couldn't convince the king to allow an army into his system. Despite what they were told the king felt confident in his army that they can handle whatever Damien is up to. Though this was mostly done because the people didn't want any Republic forces on the planet.
However, the king will allow a small garrison of soldiers to arrive to the planet. To act as security for Senator Padme Amidala, Senator Bail Organa, Lux Bonteri, Riyo Chuchi, and Mon Mothma.
Master Obi Wan Kenobi, Master Windu, Shaak Ti, Luminara Unduli, Barriss Offee, and Ahsoka Tano will also be going to the planet to join the ceremony. To the public it is to try forming a better relationship with the people, but it is mostly to be as backup.
Obi Wan and Ahsoka plan to bring their troops, which they will leave Master Yoda in charge of once the fighting breaks out. Though they are hoping a fight won't break out.
Ahsoka is seen outside in the gardens where Barriss showed her. She needed to use this time to clear her mind and help get herself mentally ready, especially if she ends up fighting Anakin. She didn't want to and knows they will end up getting hurt. But she knew Anakin would do anything to save her, even if it means fighting her.
It was then she hears a noise behind her and activates her lightsaber as she swings her weapon. Until she stops inches from Jake's neck when she saw who it is.
"E-easy there. It's just me," said Jake as he has his hands up.
Ahsoka quickly deactivate her weapon and sighed. "I'm so sorry. I didn't know it was you."
Jake though knew this wasn't her fault. "It's okay. It was my fault. I should have said something. I can leave you want."
Ahsoka shook her head in response. "No, no. Please stay. I could use someone to talk to right now."
Jake nods as he joins Ahsoka and sits down on the ground to join her. "So, I take it your nervous about the trip? And you know fighting Anakin?"
Ahsoka turns to Jake and then shook her head in response. "I'm actually nervous about what is going to happen when we do fight. This won't be like when Anakin and I sparred against one another. I know he will come at me with the intent to kill. And I know I can't hold back or hesitate like I did last time."
Jake understood why Ahsoka feels this way. He couldn't blame her though. He knew how close she is to her master. That's why he offered that he can fight Anakin instead, but Ahsoka insisted she needs to do this.
Ahsoka sighed as she looks up at the sky. "You know. I think I know how Anakin feels now when he had to fight me on Mortis."
"Mortis?" Jake asked looking confused by what she meant. "Wait. You two had a real fight before?"
"Eh sort of," Ahsoka forgot she never told Jake or the others about this.
She explained how she went on a mission with her master and Obi Wan. The Council discovered a distress signal and they went to investigate. However, they were taken into a strange world called Mortis. A world that was strong with the Force.
Both the Light and the Dark Side. It was also ruled by powerful Force users named the Father, the Daughter, and the Son. Both children were somehow the embodiment of the Light and Dark Side. Giving them special abilities like shapeshifting.
Anakin was revealed to be the Chosen One. The one prophesised to bring balance to the Force and defeat the Sith. The Father asked Anakin to take his place to care for his children. Anakin refused and the Son kidnapped her in order to use her against her master.
Well, it worked after he infected her with the Dark Side and used her like a puppet to fight Anakin. Once he got what he needed he killed her, but thanks to the Daughter she sacrificed her life and bring her back to life.
"After that we defeated the Son and we escaped from that world," Ahsoka finished explaining her story. "Once we escaped we found out time froze and it was like we never left. We even told the Council what happened and kept the information in the archives."
"Wow, that is...well surprising," said Jake who was left almost speechless by the story.
Not just about the part about the Force users and their powers. But rather on the part where Ahsoka died and was brought back to life. He's glad the Daughter saved her since…he didn't want to imagine what would have happened if she didn't. Still, once she finished with the story Jake cleared his throat and decided to try speaking up without asking her questions about…well her dying.
"So um…how did it feel coming back from it all?" shit that was bad he shouldn't have said it.
Ahsoka couldn't blame him for asking her that. She too had a lot going through her mind when she found out all of this. Although she was more horrified finding out she almost killed her friends while being used like a puppet. Still, she was just thankful for what the Daughter did.
"I actually don't remember much of it. The last thing I remember is being bitten by the Son and then everything went dark," it was also scary for Ahsoka since she was confused on where she was. "But then I saw a light and the next thing I knew I was awake. Anakin and Obi Wan told me everything afterwards though."
"I see," Jake wonders if Zane knows about this world Ahsoka mentioned. Maybe he can ask him about it later. "Well, I'm just glad you made it out of there alive. I don't know how things would be like without you," said Jake as he placed his hand on Ahsoka's.
Ahsoka felt his hand and smiled as she grasps it. "Me too. It was a dangerous and mysterious place. I saw so many things there I never saw on other worlds before. And…can you keep this a secret?"
Jake nods in response. "You are talking to someone who is keeping plenty of secrets of his own. What is it?"
Ahsoka knew that was true and still has plenty of her own secrets too. Like the one she never told her master or even Obi Wan.
"Okay, here I go. While we were on Mortis I saw an older version of myself. It was a vision, but it felt real. She was trying to warn me of the dangers of my master and how if I stay with him I will never see my future," Ahsoka remembers that vision like it was yesterday. Her older counterpart appearing taller, stronger, and yet she looked cold. "I never told Obi Wan and Anakin about it because…well I didn't want to believe in what my future self said. But now, well I guess I understood why she said those things to me."
Well, this night keeps bringing me more surprises. Jake thought who didn't expect Ahsoka to tell him she met her future self. Warning her about Anakin and the dangers from probably the darkness within him.
"Still, the future has not been written, Ahsoka. We make our own future, our own destiny, and our own fate," said Jake as turns over to her and held up both her hands. "That's why I know tomorrow we'll beat Damien no matter what he has plan for us."
Ahsoka could feel the confidence flowing from Jake and couldn't help but smile. Before she notices how close they are and him holding both her hands. Safe to say it was making her blush a little. Still, she did her best not to let this bother her since she knows how the two feel about one another, which reminds her.
"Listen, I know we said we were going to wait till the war ended but..." she lets out a small sigh and decides to go for it. "Just in case something does happen I want to say…I love you."
Those three words all but almost left Jake speechless. He waited a long time to hear those words, but he was sure they were going to wait till the fighting ended. He also wanted to reassure her everything will be okay and they will come out of this alive. But he too feared that if anything does happen he would never get the chance to say it too.
To hear her say it well it was enough to convince him to go through with this. "I-I love you too. And after we defeat Damien on Almora maybe we can…make it official?"
Ahsoka likes that idea and nods in response. "I would like that," she said knowing once they finish Damien off they can try seeing how this relationship works.
Jake and Ahsoka stared at each other for a minute until the two begin leaning in. The two closed their eyes and soon their lips connected just as rain begins pouring down.
Meanwhile
Barriss is seen on board her ship alone. She decided not to spend the night in the Jedi Temple since she couldn't get any sleep at all. She tried, but with so much going on through her mind she needed to go someplace to relax. No matter where she went though she couldn't shake off these feelings she had.
Tomorrow is the day. Tomorrow they will be going up against Damien and his army. She knew it was fast approaching and she was…worried. She felt worried before, but not like this.
She knows Zane has faith in them and she knows the others will be there with her when they fight. But after all they have been through and what is going to happen. She couldn't help but shake these feelings. It was too much and kept her from falling asleep.
She took off to go to her ship she sees her soldiers are out sleeping in their barracks. She walked down the empty hallway with some droids passing by. She kept her arms close to her body as she couldn't shake off these feelings no matter where she goes. She goes to her room where maybe she can find something to help her meditate and get her to finally relax.
"I know you Jedi are the military leaders, but I wish you got a bigger room," said Rick who caused Barriss to activate her lightsaber and aim her weapon near his neck. "Whoa there! It's me!"
Barriss quickly deactivates her weapon and pushes Rick away from the door before locking it behind her. "Rick? What are you doing in here? Wait how did you get in here?"
"Oh I snuck in here," said Rick as he points to the vent in the room, which is open. "You guys seriously need to update your security better."
Barriss sighed as she puts her weapon away. "Why are you here? I thought Rachel said you and the others were off getting ready for the festival."
"Oh we are and we were supposed to be sleeping in bed, but we couldn't sleep," Rick explained that Jake, Rachel, and himself went to go visit the others to see how they are doing before tomorrow. "So, I came to see how you are doing when I couldn't find you at the Jedi Temple. So, what are you doing here and why so jumpy?"
"I'm not jumpy. You just caught me by surprise," said Barriss as she goes over to her bed. "I came here also to inspect my ship before we take off."
Rick though wasn't convinced. "Uh-huh. First of all you are not very good at lying. Secondly, I know when people are jumpy because something is bothering them. And third I know you are lying because you are a trained Jedi who shouldn't be so jumpy. That should count as the first one, but I am just proving my point."
Barriss didn't want to argue with Rick and knows if she just tells him she isn't lying he won't believe her. She moves her hand over to her face and sighed.
"Fine. Lately I have been feeling a little…stressful," Barriss began explaining. "It was bad enough fighting in a war that I never felt the Jedi should have been in the first place. Going against everything we were taught in the process. But we are now going to be fighting against a monster who has enough power to destroy any world. I'm worried at what will happen if we can't win and what will happen if anything happens to…all of you."
Rick had a feeling Barriss was worried about something, but he didn't think it was something like this. Usually…no she is almost never the type to be nervous or worried about something like this. Not with all they have been through. So, this was real surprising to hear her confess about.
He goes to sit down next to her and placed his hand on her hand. "I'm not gonna lie. I'm also worried about tomorrow. Knowing Damien he has something big up his sleeve. Whatever it is it can't be good, but not letting it get to me."
"And how are you doing that?" Barriss asked not minding Rick placing his hand on her hand since she knows he is doing this for comfort.
"Mostly you guys," Rick began explaining. "I know some of you are nervous about tomorrow and you probably have butterflies in your stomach. So, I have to remain calm and be there for you guys to get you through it all. We're a team and the team needs that someone to help lighten the mood when things look bad."
Barriss knew this much to be true. Rick does his best to help lighten the mood or help the team if they need it. But it wasn't enough to cheer her up completely. She knew there a lot riding on the line and she isn't sure how to get over this.
Rick noticed what he said isn't working and continues trying to help her. "Ahsoka told me before we came a long you told her you were concerned where the Jedi was going in this war. I take the way you feel now is how you felt before?"
Barriss should have known Ahsoka would tell Rick about this, but then again she never meant for it to be a big secret. "I felt a little upset with the Jedi breaking their own code. Going into a war, becoming soldiers, and leading when we have no experience in war. I felt we lost our ways because of this war and the public have shown their hatred towards us. We once stood for peace, but now we've become everything we sworn against."
Barriss continued as she lets out more of her frustration. "It made me mad that the Jedi would send many of us into combat at such a young age and many of them wouldn't come back. Many who were my friends, many who I grew up with, and when I saw them again it was at their funeral. It got to the point I began having…unsettling thoughts. But when I became a Power Ranger with you all…well those feelings I had began dying down and I no longer had those thoughts anymore."
Rick wasn't going to ask her what she was thinking before, but he understood what she is talking about. Ahsoka told them before how many Jedi she knows were not happy with the war. Not happy with what the Jedi were doing and were always taught they were peacekeepers. Sure, she feels they should be involved to help keep the peace, but to everyone she knew not this way.
Once Barriss let out her feelings she began calming down and lowered her head. "But even now I'm worried that I might lose you all and those feelings I had before will come back. I don't want to lose my friends who I have grown attached to. I should be following the Code, but…I have grown to have so much doubts about it I no longer want to follow it. I want to be with all of you, have fun, but also help protect the peace, but if I lose it all…then what?"
Rick moves his hand over to her chin and lifts it up before stroking her face. "Hey? You won't lose any of us. We will be here with you no matter what and we'll kick Damien's ass together. And when this is over…well hopefully when this is over and if you ever do decide to ditch the rules we can always you know…"
Barriss began blushing a little when she knew where Rick is going with this. She knew he has been hitting on her so much that she can read him like a book. She begins smiling a little and move her hand over to grab his.
"You claim to be worried about tomorrow, yet I can feel the overconfidence flowing through you. Is it because you are trying to remain strong for everyone? Or is something else motivating you?" she asked.
Rick gulped a little and smiled nervously when he realized she could tell what he is thinking. "Well um…I mean I think you know what I am thinking with your Force powers. So I guess no point in…" ah fuck it if he dies tomorrow he won't have any regrets doing this. "Yes. I have something motivating me and it's you. I love you, Barriss Offee and I know you probably don't have the same 'I love you' feelings for me, but I will still say it."
Barriss didn't look surprised with what he said and took his hand away from her face as she shook her head. "You're wrong…I do love you."
Rick's reaction turned to one of shock and then one of happiness when he heard her return her love for him. "Y-you do?"
Barriss nods in response but then turns her head away from Rick. "I wanted to tell you before, but…I was worried since my rational mind kept going back to the Code. Never form attachments, never get close to someone, and never fall in love or you will fall to the Dark Side."
Ah those damn rules. Rick thought as he sighed softly. Those damn rules are going to end up causing someone to go nuts one of these days.
"But…" Barriss continued. "As time passed, I saw began seeing how forming attachments and falling in love isn't bad. I have seen how it can make someone strong and help them prevail even in their darkest hour."
Rick was glad to hear that she isn't so struggling so much like before. That she sees the flaws in the rules and she can finally say what she feels.
"So since we both admit how we feel about one another does that mean we are going to…kiss?" Rick asked wondering if he will finally get that kiss he said he would get.
Barriss nods in response, but began blushing when she has something else in mind. "R-Rick. There is something else I want to do. Something I heard couples do when they are together."
Rick began blushing when he figured what she meant. "Y-you mean…" he leans in and spells out the word in hear ear.
"W-what?! No!" Barriss replied as her face turned to dark shade of red. "Not that!"
"Oh okay good!" Rick replied glad to hear that's not what she meant. "N-not gonna lie. I love you, but I don't think we're ready for that!"
"N-no of course not!" Barriss was glad he wasn't serious about doing it since she too was nowhere near ready for that. "What I mean is I want to try…" she took a deep breath and finally said it. "Cuddle."
"W-wait. Really?" Rick asked surprised that's what she was so nervous about saying. "Sure. I don't mind cuddling with you. You mean right now to help you sleep?"
Barriss nods in response. "I-I think being with someone I love might help me relax and help get me to sleep."
Rick understood as he grasps her hands. "On one condition…lower your hood and let your hair free from now on."
Barriss got a little nervous about letting her hood down for good. Even let her hair free since she always was taught to dress the part of a Jedi by her master. But…she is no longer a student. She is a Knight and no longer has to dress like her master.
So, if she must. She lowered her hood and tossed her cloak to the side. She then frees her hair showing how short it is. She turns to Rick and moves her hair to the side.
"So um…what do you think?" she never really cared how she looked before, but then again she never fell in love before so this was all new to her.
Rick moves his hand up to face then moves up to her hair. Moving along the hair and feels how soft it is before leaning close to her. "You look so beautiful," he soon leans in and begins kissing her.
Barriss gasped when she felt him kissing her. This is all new to her and never thought she would kiss anyone. Her first kiss being taken by someone she loves. Due to her inexperience she wasn't sure what to do.
So, she tries copying what he is doing. Moving her hand up to his face and returns the kiss. The two soon continued kissing as they lay down on the bed as they continued expression their love for one another.
Meanwhile
Lux is in his apartment after spending much of the day going over more senate meetings about the festival tomorrow. The Chancellor didn't reveal to the other senators about the attack tomorrow so they will not risk the information getting out. Otherwise Damien will find out and will plan something else. However, once they finished he had to go to another meeting to speak with the other senators who are going on the trip. To go over the security detail they will be bringing and that will be on Almora.
All of that took hours until he finally got to go to his apartment. Unfortunately he had to go over another meeting, which went on until the sun went down. Once he finished eating his dinner, which he didn't get to finish due to the stress he is feeling he went off to bed. Sadly sleep didn't take over despite being exhausted.
So, he went to his office where he went to try clearing his head. He looks on the table to see a family picture of him, his mother, and father. All together when he was young. He smiled when he saw it and remembered the good times they had.
He remembers spending time with his parents, going out with them for festivities, and playing games with them. But once the war began everything changed.
He placed the photo back on the table and sighed. "So much has changed since the war. First, you were gone, father. And then mother. I couldn't save either one of you because I was too weak."
He then looks over at another picture, which he took with his friends. It showed Lux with the others on Endor when they went exploring. Rachel suggested they all take a picture together. They took a while to get the picture set up thanks to the Ewoks that live there, but they managed to get one just right.
Even made a goofy one, which only a few of them did. Barriss and Ahsoka weren't good at making goofy faces. While all he did was try to make a face of his own. But it wasn't a good one, which caused him to laugh a little.
"How did the others convince me to try doing that?" Lux asked himself.
"I think the real question is why didn't you try sticking your tongue out?" Lux nearly jumped from his seat when he saw Rachel standing next to him. "Easy there, Bonteri. Came in here once I saw the guards were gone. Wanted to talk to you while the guys are off seeing their girls."
Lux sits back against his chair and sighed. "And you couldn't contact me before you snuck in here because?"
"Less fun and I wanted to see if you are as stressful about tomorrow as the rest of us," Rachel sits on Lux's table and smiles a little before boobing Lux's nose. "I was right."
Lux ignored the boop to the nose and smiles a little. "So, I'm not the only nervous one. How are the guys dealing with it?"
Rachel shrugs her shoulders. "Jake is handling it by reminding himself what is on the line. And Rick…being Rick I guess. Personally? I have been more focused helping my mother not rip her brother's head off, which is a lot harder than it looks.'
Lux could only imagine trying to do something like that, but sadly his mother didn't have a sibling. "I wish I could have helped you, but with everything I have been asked to prepare for…"
"Yeah, I know," said Rachel as she gets off the table gets behind Lux. "That's why I am here," she then noticed the picture of Lux's parents and smiled a little. "Where was that taken?"
Lux looks at the picture of his parents again and gave a small sad smile. "Years ago. When I was eight years old. It was long before the war began. My parents took that picture when my mother became a senator and my father suggested we take the picture."
Rachel took the picture and saw how happy the family looked. Sad to know that years later Lux would be an orphan without his parents. She turns to Lux and wrapped her arms around his neck for a hug.
"I'm sorry, Lux. I wish they were both here so they can be here with you," said Rachel as she rests her head on his head. "But you aren't alone at least. You have us and we'll be here for you."
Lux knew that much was true. Sure, he does miss his parents and wish he could have them back. But having his friends with him who have become his new family was enough for him. He was no longer alone and has them with him. Spending time with him, helping him with whatever he needed, and help cheer him up when he is feeling down or nervous.
"Thank you, Rachel. Although I'm going to need more than a pep talk with what is going to happen tomorrow. I'm worried about losing everything again and losing all of you even…well you know," said Lux who he hopes Rachel understand what he is saying.
Rachel nods knowing what he means and turns his seat around before kneeling down in front of him. "You know eventually we will need to tell my parents and the others about us. You know since we decided to do this weeks ago."
Lux nods in response knowing they will need to tell the others about this, especially Rachel's parents. But he wanted to wait until after the fighting before they do this. He just hopes when they do reveal this to everyone it will be okay. Well, that's what he is hoping for.
"You know. I bet if my mom was here she would have loved to meet you," said Lux as he grasps her hand. "I think she would have loved you. And your feistiness."
Rachel giggled softly. "Oh yeah and I bet we would have gotten along," she replied before leaning over to kiss Lux on the lips before breaking the kiss. "I love you and promise me you won't give up no matter what. Otherwise I'll end up giving up if I lose you.'
Lux knew she probably wouldn't, but he didn't want to take that risk. "I promise…I promise we will survive this fight together and defeat Damien together as a team.'
"As a family," said Rachel as the two lean in and begin kissing passionately.
Endor
Padme is seen walking down the hallway of the Command Center in her nightgown and robe. She has been spending weeks on Endor living here for her protection until the day of the festival. At first she was against this and wanted to stay on Naboo. However, it was part of her deal with Alexis to allow her to see Anakin once they fight him.
Still, her time on Endor wasn't so bad. Zane showed her around the place, told her the many stories of the Power Rangers, where he is from, and showed her much of Endor. Even meeting the Ewoks who are friendly and look up to Zane. In return Zane helps keep them safe from bounty hunters or just hunters from harming them.
Alpha helped Padme with her pregnancy. Giving her what she needs from food for her cravings or keeping up to date on how her child is doing. That all changed though yesterday after they did one more check-up before they leave. She had Alpha keep this a secret from the others since she didn't want them to know just yet.
Thanks to this information though she couldn't fall back asleep. Not with tomorrow coming up and how she will confront Anakin. She knows there is still good in him. Trapped in all that rage, that anger, that darkness.
If she can't pull him out then maybe…she placed her hand on her belly and smiles. "Maybe if he knows the truth it will help him," she whispered to herself.
Hoping this will bring him back from the darkness. Of course, it doesn't mean she isn't worried about what Damien is up to. She knows he will do everything to keep Anakin under his control. Maybe even try killing her to do it.
Still, she won't let him. She won't let Anakin be taken by the darkness. She will save him. She has to.
She stops when she noticed a door wide open. Going in she sees Zane near a cryo-tube where his daughter is at. She remembers Zane telling her about his daughter and what happened to her. Padme felt bad for Zane and wanted to help him find a cure, but he told her there isn't one thanks to Damien.
She decided to leave when she heard Zane calling for her. "Couldn't sleep, Ms. Amidala?" Zane turns towards her and smiles. "Me neither. I guess that's what happens when you have a lot going through your mind."
Padme nods in agreement before entering the room. She goes over and sees the girl in the tube. She could tell the girl appeared younger than Ahsoka. She was very beautiful though and Zane told her how she wanted to be like her parents when she grows up.
It made Padme feel bad for Zane knowing thanks to this disease the chances of his daughter ever growing up is unlikely. She wanted to ask about the mother, but she figured she wasn't with them since she isn't here.
"I'm sorry. I wish there was something we could do to help," said Padme who did wish she could help Zane for all the good he has done for her and the others.
Zane though shook his head in response. "You have done plenty. Not only for all your friends have done for the galaxy, but also for the lives that they saved. Now, it is my turn to return the favour. I will fight alongside my fellow Rangers, defeat Damien, and return your husband back."
Padme nods happy to know Zane will help them save her husband. "I appreciate you doing this. But out of curiosity once we do defeat Damien what will you do? Will you fight with us to end the Clone Wars?"
Zane sighed as he shook his head. "I only joined because of Damien's involvement. Once the war is over I will need to disappear again," he turns towards Padme and can tell she isn't happy to hear this. "The Power Rangers are like the Jedi. They are defenders of the peace. Not soldiers. We were never meant to fight in a war and not fight as soldiers."
Padme figured as much. She remembers Nathan telling her how they were told the same thing. How they were never meant to fight in wars since there was always a concern how that would go. That the people would fear them as weapons instead of saviours.
"And the morphers?" Padme asked wondering if Zane will take them from the others.
Zane sighed as he sits up from his chair. "I trust the others to keep their morphers before with the exception of Tiberous. If the others promise not to use their morphers during the war I will let them keep them."
Padme is glad to hear that and she is sure Ahsoka and Barriss wouldn't try using the morphers during combat. "Thank you, Zane," Padme looks at the clock nearby and sighed. "Well, it's still too early to wake up. Maybe I should try getting some sleep. Are you going to get some sleep too?"
"In a little bit," said Zane as he turns to his daughter. "I just need to some more moments with my daughter."
"I understand," Padme begins preparing to leave when she stopped by the door. "By the way…do you think if I tell Anakin the truth about…" rubs her hand along her belly. "Do you think it will help bring Anakin back?"
Zane turns to Padme and then to her belly before he nods in response. "Finding out he is going to be a father will help bring him back. Just be careful though. You aren't just risking your life you know."
"I know," said Padme as she looks down at her belly and sighed. "I'm risking their lives too."
Rhen Var
Meanwhile, Damien is seen walking down the hallway of his fortress. He can hear his robots finishing their ships and the equipment needed for his invasion. The day is almost here. Soon, Damien will show the full power of his army and grip the galaxy with fear.
Fear that will cause all to submit to him. Fear that will make sure no one tries to stand up against him. Fear that will destroy all chances of hope. And fear that will cement his power over the galaxy.
Despite some setbacks with Torus being destroyed he was still confident he will succeed. He walks into his throne room where he sees his two generals, Vampira and Arachnia kneeling before him. Near him his knight, the Cerberus Ranger is also seen kneeling before his master. Damien was surprised to find out the Red Ranger managed to injure his knight.
All while unaware of what happened since Arachnia only told him what the Red Ranger did. Never mentioning his servant slipping from him. Nonetheless he wasn't worried. Once things go according to plan he won't need to worry about this new power boost the Red Ranger got.
Damien approaches his two generals as they bow their head to him. "Is the army ready?"
"Yes, my master," Vampira replied first. "The army awaits your command."
"And when they are unleashed the planet will be yours," said Arachnia as she spoke up next.
Damien walks over to his balcony and smiles when he sees his army below all lined up. Marching loudly before they turn to their master and cheer for him. Damien was happy with this indeed. He has enough robots to help him conquer every Coruscant three-times without the assistance of Count Dooku's useless army.
"Even if Almora possesses a great army they won't stand a chance. Not after Tiberous weakens the planet's defences," said Damien knowing his army can't lose if all goes according to plan. He sees nearby Mother Talzin appears in the room and approached him. "Is she ready, Mother Talzin?"
"Yes, Damien," said Mother Talzin as she bows her head before moving her arm to a dark figure in the corner. "Presenting the queen of evil, the queen of darkness, and the queen of the Monarch of Evil, Damien…"
A woman around her 20s, wearing a dark skin-tight leather suit, metallic armor on her chest, forearms, boots, and a headband around her head. Short red hair, fair skin, and violet eyes. She is seen with a staff that is in the form of a diamond with a gold symbol on it. She enters the room as the followers of Damien bow their head before her.
"Astronema," said Mother Talzin as she presents Damien his queen.
The queen now revealed to be Astronema approaches her husband and moves her hand to his face. "Hello, my king."
Damien smiles as he placed his hand on the cheek of his wife. "Hello, my queen. Are you ready to conquer the galaxy?"
"Hmm always," said Astronema as she leans up and the two villains embrace in a passionate knowing tomorrow their time has come.
Surprise motherfuckers! I brought in Astronema aka Karone the sister of Andros the Red Space Ranger. Now then, I know you all probably have a lot of questions so let me tell you all this: No, it isn't Karone turned evil again. All will be explained about how this is possible next time, but yeah she is Damien's bride and no she isn't wearing one of the many ridiculous wigs she wore during the series.
I kind of liked her with the red hair. But I might change my mind as time passes on. For now though it looks like everyone is getting one last bit of fun before their final fight. Yep, the end is almost here for the first season of this story.
I am looking forward to it, especially how I already have plan everything else for the next season. Also, if anyone has a problem with me getting everyone together and paired up let's be honest it was going to happen sooner or later. Might as well do it now so the others can be ready if anything happens. Will something bad really happen?
Tune in next time to find out what happens and I want to thank everyone for the reviews. I appreciate the support and sorry for taking so long on the chapter. I appreciate the patients though. Glad to know you guys still support the story.
Please be patient for the next chapter and hope you liked this. If you all liked this then please leave some reviews. Just no flame reviews please. Take care everyone, be safe, and see you all next time.
