Chapter 69 is here guys and I hope everyone is ready for the new chapter. Sorry for the wait I got stuck on the chapter. Damn writer's block. Finally got through it though and I hope everyone is ready for this chapter.

Also we're near the end of the year. Glad we are near the end, but I still got a lot of stuff to get to before it's over. More projects to get done and so little time. Anyways, I want to thank everyone for the support and reviews I appreciate it.

Last time we saw our heroes heading to Almora. Jake, Rachel, and Rick were confronted by Tiberous and things got a little heated. But it looks like things with the bad guys have only just begun. How will things go for this chapter?

Will our heroes find out what Damien is up to? Will they find out there is a mole in Almora? Will they be ready for whatever he has up his sleeve? Or will things go badly for our heroes?

The Festival of Peace Part II

Almora

The Republic transport ship are seen exiting hyperspace as they begin arriving towards the planet of Almora. They can see the large fleet of hundreds of ships over the planet. To the pilots who came to Almora before it appeared they are taking no chances of an invasion. They also noticed a large ring structure that surrounds the planet.

The ring is a new installation that Almora made to help protect the planet from planetary bombardments. Creating a large energy shield that can absorb every attack and in doing so can use it to strengthen the shield. So, the harder it gets it the harder it will solidify to defend the planet. It also carries with it multiple turrets to fight back should it come under attack.

Thanks to the moon base as well along with the fleet the defences around Almora is almost impossible to break through. The Republic's fleet stopped halfway towards their trip since they didn't have permission to enter Almora's territory. Nonetheless they were still nearby just in case they are attacked. If they do get attacked.

As they begin passing by the blockade, on board the ship the senators and Jedi are getting ready to land. The senators had finished eating lunch before the trip since they knew the ceremony won't be on for another four hours. The king had informed them to get some food now since they will be busy with the schedule he send. It showed what will occur during the festival.

The first is the beginning of the ceremony where the king will give his speech, then it will be mingling with the people, joining in any games they will have, and then dinner. If they don't want to wait the festivities will have some food stands that they can try out. Senator Organa and Bonteri both confirmed the food they have is delicious that the other senators should try it.

As for the Jedi they are seen getting ready to land in the cargo room. They had also finished turning in their lightsabers since Almora's security won't allow them to use them. Once they all turned in their weapons the older Jedi Masters begin contacting the Council. Letting them know how things are going.

Meanwhile, Ahsoka and Barriss are seen with Captain Rex. Letting him know how things will go. "Rex, you and your men got your orders right?" Ahsoka asked.

"Yes ma'am, General Tano," Captain Rex replied. "We'll stay on the ship in case something goes wrong, which judging from the number of ships around the planet I guess it will happen soon?"

"Hopefully not," Barriss replied who is hoping things will go well for once. "However, we can't take any chances. If Damien does unleash an attack we must be ready."

"That's why we need you and the others to be on your guard," said Ahsoka as she hands Rex a watch. "If anything does go wrong I will press this…" shows her own watch. "It will begin turning yours red and alert you of trouble. We'd use our com-links, but we don't know if Damien will try jamming our frequency."

"Why take any chances?" Captain Rex puts on the device around his wrist. "Good idea, general. Still, from what I saw last time these Almorian soldiers know exactly how to fight. I doubt they'd want us Clones to fight alongside them."

"Don't worry so much about what they think. Just help as many people as you can and don't die on us," said Ahsoka who doesn't want any of her men dying today. "And above all else don't do anything crazy."

"Come on, general. You should know crazy ideas always help us win," said Captain Rex who recalls all the times General Skywalker's crazy ideas helped turn the tide of any fight.

Ahsoka knew that much is true and smiles. "Just as long as you all remember to also be careful then that's fine with me."

Barriss nods in agreement. "Indeed, but remember if you also find yourselves fighting against any of Damien's monsters or Damien himself don't engage."

"After what happened last time I wouldn't worry about it," said Captain Rex who learned his lesson last time. "Just as long you all be careful too."

"We will. Don't worry, Rex," said Ahsoka as she placed her hand on the captain's shoulder. "If Damien does attack we'll show him why the 501st is the toughest in the Republic."

Captain Rex smiles before putting on his helmet. "Yes general."

Ahsoka begins walking away with Barriss who leans in to speak to her. "You have a way of inspiring your soldiers."

"I did learn from the best," said Ahsoka giving a nod to her master. "I just hope when we do break him free he will be okay."

"We'll know once we free him," said Barriss as the two are approached by Obi Wan. "Finished with the meeting?"

Obi Wan nods in response. "Master Yoda will be joining our forces outside of Almora's system. If anything bad happens he will bring the ships in to help us. Any word from Zane?"

Barriss nods in response. "Zane said he arrived on Almora an hour ago. He's laying low though until the fight begins."

"Good. Let's just hope this trip will be better than last time," said Obi Wan as he moves his hand up to his beard. "I also get a feeling that even with all the defenses that Almora has it won't be enough with what Damien has. He's planning something."

"Planning something big if he knows how strong Almora's defences are," said Ahsoka who knows Damien isn't a fool. He wouldn't launch an attack against them if he wasn't prepared. "Not to mention he must know Zane is going to have his machines set up to keep him from teleporting in. So what is he planning?"

Obi Wan knew Damien must know all of this. He isn't going to walk into a fight without knowing what his enemies might have set up. If Dooku had planned an attack like this he would try bribing the higher up in security to help get him what he needs to weaken their defences. But would someone in Almora betray their people for Damien?

The Jedi are soon interrupted by Commander Cody with some news. "Sir, we're here. We also received word the king has requested to have their security inspect the ship."

"To ensure we didn't bring anything dangerous I assume," said Obi Wan who figured the ship would be inspected. "Just let them do their job and make sure to none of the men are armed when they come on board. Don't want a fight to break out."

"Yes sir," said Commander Cody as he leaves to let the others know.

Obi Wan turns to the girls and grabs his cloak. "Well then. Let's get going then."

The ship soon begins landing as a group of Almorian Royal Guards are seen on guard. With them is King Ronin who arrived to welcome his guests. His son was to join him to help inspect the ship, but he said he needed to go take care of something else. This was good for the king since he didn't want any tensions to occur if he says anything to their guests.

Once the landing platform came down the Jedi begin exiting the ship with the senators following behind them. The king begins approaching the Jedi as they stop before him. The Jedi and senators soon give a small bow to the king. The king returns the bow as well before he turns to the three Jedi he recognized.

"Ah Master Kenobi. Welcome back and I see you brought some more of your friends," said King Ronin as he greeted the Jedi.

Obi Wan nods in response as he turns to the other Jedi. "Indeed we did. I'm sure you remember Ahsoka Tano and Barriss Offee," both women give a small head nod to the king. "And here we have Master Windu and Master Shaak Ti."

Ronin turns to the two new Jedi and placed his arms behind his back. "Ah yes. I've heard of you two. I am surprised you both decided to join us. I'd figure the war would keep you both busy."

"With the cease fire going on we decided to use this chance to join Master Kenobi," Master Shaak Ti replied first. "We thank you for allowing us to your world."

Ronin may not like the Jedi, but it doesn't mean he'll turn away his guests. "Your welcome, but I hope you all understand you will still need to follow the rules."

"Of course," Master Windu took out the box and hands it to one of the king's guards. "Our lightsabers are inside. We also are aware we will need to wear restraints and we will wear them now if the king wishes."

Ronin sees one of his guards carrying the box with the Force restraints approach the Jedi, but he moves his hand up to stop the guards. "That won't be necessary," one of the king's advisors leans over to speak to the king about this, but the king shook his head. "I don't care if that's what Tiberous wants. The Jedi have proven themselves when they defended our home from the Separatist last time they were here. I think they deserve a bit of leniency. I trust you all will behave?"

The Jedi all nod in response as the guards carrying the restraints begin to leave. Once they were gone the Jedi step aside so the senators can greet the king next.

"King Ronin," Bail Organa was the first to greet the king. "Good to see you again."

"Good to see you too, Senator Organa," said Ronin as he turns to Mon Mothma. "Senator Mothma, you haven't changed a bit since I last saw you. I'm glad to know you've taken good care of yourself."

"I have," Mon Mothma replied as she gives the king a small bow. "Thank you for letting us come to your world, King Ronin."

Ronin nods before turning to Riyo Chuchi. "I have heard much about you, Senator Chuchi. I heard what happened on Orto Plutonia. You showed a lot of courage and bravery for what you did. Willing to do what is right to stop the violence and to protect the peace."

Riyo Chuchi smiles and bows her head to the king. "Thank you, King Ronin. Although, I wish I did more to speak out before lives were lost."

Ronin shook his head in response. "You are still young and there will be times when you will be unsure when you should speak out. I am glad though you did and the lives that were lost they were not your fault."

Riyo Chuchi was glad to hear that from someone like Ronin. Someone who looks out for his people, tries to avoid violence so no lives will be lost, and helps others who struggle. He is truly a good man like the Pantoran Chairman.

Ronin then turns to Lux and pats him on the shoulder. "Welcome back, Senator Bonteri. I hope this time things will be better than your last visit."

Lux couldn't help but nervously smile in response. "Y-yes of course, sir. I am hoping for the same thing."

"Well, not to worry," Ronin turns to his guards who all stood at attention with their weapons. "Tiberous has been training our soldiers non-stop to make sure they are ready for anything," the king then turns to the Jedi and approached them. "I assume you've told your men to stay in the ship?"

Master Windu nods in response. "They will stay inside just in case."

Ronin turns to the Clones who are by the ramp. He knew his son had told his guards to make sure the Clones do not leave the ship even if a fight breaks out. However, he knew it wouldn't be fair to keep them all locked up, especially since they did help out during the fight against the Separatist. Even if his son is against what he is going to do he'll need to live with it.

"Master Jedi, if your men want they can join in the festivities," Ronin replied, which seems to surprise the Jedi. "Provided they leave their weapons on the ship then they can join the festival. Understand?"

Ahsoka was the first to speak up as she gives a small bow to the king. "We would appreciate that. Thank you, King Ronin."

Obi Wan saw no trouble in this as well since he figures this will help the men relax, while using this chance to have a look around.

"I agree. We'll speak to them about this," said Obi Wan.

"Good," Ronin then turns to the senators. "My guards will escort you all to the palace. The Jedi will join us once they finish speaking with their men."

The senators all nod in response before they take off. Lux turned to Ahsoka and Barriss who both gave him a small thumps up. Reassuring him they'll join him soon. Hopefully in time to be prepared before Damien makes his move.

Meanwhile

The royal guards are seen positioned in many parts of the palace. All while miniature drones are seen flying around. Making sure to alert the security team of anything suspicious. If they spot anything the drones are given permission to attack.

Meanwhile, inside the palace the employees who work for the royal family are seen preparing everything. Cleaning the rooms, making sure the food for the party tonight is ready, and decorating the inside of the palace. All while the guards who are inside are keeping an eye on everything. Making sure everything is as it should be and if they see anything suspicious they will do something about it.

While all this is going on, Tiberous is seen going towards a closed off part of the palace. Only family members were allowed here. It is the family's record vault room. This is where they keep their secrets, their family's history, and artifacts that have been gathered over the thousand years.

One of these artifacts was an old wooden axe. It appears to have been made by an old stick that has a sharp stone. He looks it over and knew it belonged to his ancestor when the first people of Almora emerged. Even years later it still appears to be in one place.

Tiberous walks off and enters the room where he has a look around. He knew this place was safe from any sort of attack. Even if the palace was destroyed this place would be safe. A perfect place to hold up in once Damien makes his move.

He walks into one of the rooms that this place holds. It is where it shows a portrait of the past kings of Almora and their accomplishments. From the first king when he freed his people from the slavery of the former ruler of Almora. To his father who saved his people from an invading force that came from the Unknown Regions.

A sector that is beyond the Outer Rim that has yet to be discovered. Tiberous remembers his mother telling him and his siblings stories about the fighting. How their father defeated the leader of the invading force and saved their people. Tiberous looks down at the weapon his father took from the leader of the invading force, which was a plasma caster weapon.

Tiberous took out a small disc from his pocket before placing it inside of the artifacts. "If Damien goes through with his plan I should keep this safe in case I fail to stop him."

As he begins to leave he stops by the room where they keep the royal family portraits. He goes inside and finds the one of his family. It was an old one when they were all young and before Alexis's kids were born. It showed his parents back when his mother was alive before she…passed away.

It also showed his sister, himself, and their younger brother…Alphonse. He stares at the picture seeing his younger brother with his short blonde hair, green eyes, and that goofy smile he always had when he took pictures. Hell he even had that smile whenever he lost in games against other kids. He never cared though if he won or lost as long as everyone had fun.

"Nothing ever got to him," said Tiberous until he hears some footsteps. He quickly turns around and took out his sword when he saw it was Alexis.

"He was the only one since the two of us always got into fights," said Alexis as she approached her brother while he kept his weapon out. "You can put that away you know or would you rather I disarm you?"

Tiberous scoffed before putting his weapon away. "What are you doing here?"

Alexis looks at the picture and smiles. "I came in here after I dropped off the flowers with mom. I just…needed to remember the good times."

Tiberous looks up at the painting and sighed. "The pink roses, right?" he saw his sister nod in response before he replied. "Her favorite…just like Alphonse."

Alexis began smiling a little. "Remember the time we got in trouble when we lost Alphonse in the forest?"

Tiberous sighed as he looks away from the picture. "How could I forget? You and I were arguing about what sort of berries we weren't allowed to eat. I kept insisting red are sweet to eat and the greens one would make us sick. You were a lot like mom…stubborn as hell."

Alexis let's out a small laugh. "Look who is talking. But then again, all three of us were stubborn. We were only out in the forest because Alphonse wanted to find the tree mom planted. The one where her pink flowers grew."

"And during our argument Alphonse took off to find them," said Alexis recalling that day and how scared they both were. "I don't think I was ever that scared in my life. Well until the kids were born, but back then I was scared."

"I wasn't. I knew we would find him," Tiberous lied knowing he was just as scared as his sister was but was too proud to admit it. "We eventually did find him and was almost attacked by that large Kuma. We managed to save him, but not without him getting some cuts from the thorns from where he was hiding."

Alexis remembers that and how they cleaned his wound up, but when they did they were surprised with what they found. "And in his hand he had the flower that we were looking for. He found it before the Kuma attacked."

"When we got him home dad was pissed off at us and grounded us for months," said Tiberous recalling that moment and how it was the first time he ever saw his dad get so angry at them. "I couldn't blame him though. If we hadn't argued Alphonse would have been safe."

"True, but it was because of us he was alive," said Alexis before she remembers that their brother is gone. "Tiberous, I know you still haven't forgiven Nathan for what happened, but you know if he was still here with us…"

Tiberous raised his hand to interrupt her. "The only reason I'm not raising my voice to you right now about this is because of how sacred this place is to our family. And I also made it clear never to bring up what happened to Alphonse."

"You don't think he would want you to let go of your anger from what happened," said Alexis as she refused to stand down from this. "You used to be a good man that Alphonse looked up to and wanted to be. You've become so bitter and heartless that father doesn't believe you are incapable of ruling."

Tiberous' hand balled up in anger as he turns away from Alexis. "We both know the only reason father wants you to rule is because you popped out a bunch of brats who will only bring death to our world."

Alexis didn't like what her brother said and turned him around to face him. "Those same brats have done more good for our people and the galaxy than you ever have done. And I bet if mother was here…"

Tiberous had enough of this as he pushes Alexis back. She kicks his hand away and the two look ready to fight. However, before the two can make a move, Nathan walks in. His attention though is turned more towards Tiberous as the two men locked eyes to one another.

"I suggest you walk away right now Tiberous," said Nathan as he moves his right hand out of his pocket to show his morpher. "Walk away now before I make you, especially after what you said to our kids earlier."

Tiberous noticed the morpher and scoffed before relaxing from his fighting position. "Be careful, Nathan. Even with that morpher of yours we both know you won't be able to beat me."

"If that's so then let's step outside and fight then," Nathan suggested as he motions to outside.

Tiberous was tempted, especially knowing it will play into what he has in store for them. However, he knew better than to try fighting with his father around. He lowers his guard and fixed his uniform. He then gave both Nathan and Alexis a glare before he begins leaving.

"One of these days Nathan we will finish this. And when we do I will make you pay for what you did," said Tiberous towards Nathan as he walked out of the room.

Once he was gone Nathan turns to Alexis. "You all right?"

Alexis nods in response, but let's out a small concerned sigh. "I just hate that we almost fought. I mean, we've fought before verbally, but physically?"

Nathan understood why his wife feels his way and approached her. "Hey. It's okay. We both know you could have kicked his ass."

Alexis let's out a small chuckle, but her expression returns to one of concern. "I'm just worried one day he's going to end up fighting us and try to take the throne. You know he will do it because of what he thinks happened to Alphonse."

Nathan sighed as he looks up at the painting of Alphonse. "I told him the truth about that day, but he still doesn't believe me. I don't think he ever will. But it doesn't mean I won't try. Even if I have to beat it into him."

Alexis knew with how her brother has been acting and how tense it has been going between the two a fight might break out. "Just save it for after the festival. Today is a day for celebration and not killing one another…until Damien shows up then we will fight."

Nathan nods in agreement knowing they have to focus on the task at hand. But there was something that bothered him. "When was the last time you brother was even in here?"

"Not since…since Alphonse died," said Alexis who knew her brother didn't come here again after what happened to Alphonse.

Ever since then the only ones who came in here were herself, her father, Nathan, and the kids. But Tiberous never came in here again. She'd also know if he did come in here secretly or not since there is a sensor to allows only family members to come in here. So, why now?

Why did Tiberous come in here after all this time? Is he up to something? Now is not exactly a good time to be plotting something. Unless…

Alexis turns to Nathan and grabs his hand. "Nathan, go find Titus and make sure all our defenses are okay. I'm going to have a look around here…okay?"

Nathan didn't question why his wife wants him to go find the second-in-command of the security team. But if she is worried about something involving Tiberous then it must be important.

"All right. But don't be late, okay? Your dad wants us to be ready for tonight," said Nathan as he gives his wife a kiss on the lips before he took off.

Alexis looks back at the room and then let's out a small sigh. "All right, brother. What are you hiding in here?"

She begins looking around hoping she won't find anything. Hoping that what she thinks is going to happen isn't true. She knew her brother would do many things, but to put the lives of his people on the line? She didn't want to believe it and hopes that if she doesn't find anything he hid in here then she can put her focus back on Damien.

Meanwhile

Jake, Rachel, and Rick managed to sneak out of their rooms through the secret passage so they can meet up with Ahsoka, Barriss, and Lux. The only problem is they had to take their sister Numa with them. She already knew their secret and won't tell anyone about it. But they didn't want to let her know about Damien invading the planet.

They didn't want her to worry or get scared since last time Damien invaded her home. Killing the last member of her family and left her traumatized. So, they are hoping she won't find out and if Damien does invade she will be taken somewhere safe. Until they defeat Damien and his army.

They soon arrive to their secret room where they see Ahsoka, Barriss and Lux waiting for them. They enter the room and Rick places his holopad in the middle of the room to show a hologram of Almora's defenses.

"So far everything seems to be working," said Rick as he shows the others each of the defenses around the city. "The shield is also online and is invisible so the people won't notice something is wrong. The drones are also scanning every part of the city making sure nothing will surprise us."

"And the jammer that Zane send?" Barriss asked.

Rachel shows the jammers set up around the city. "All operational. They will keep any part crashers from breaking through."

"That leaves a possible orbital attack," said Ahsoka as they took a look at the fleet and shield around the planet. "Any chances someone can enter the Halo and sabotage it?"

Rich shook his head in response. "The Halo has its own jammer that will keep anyone from breaking in. Not to mention it is defended by the armed ACG…" he saw some of their friends who don't live on Almora didn't get what he meant. "They are the Almorian Cybernetic Guards. Basically they are robots that Tiberous had made to help protect the Halo shield from any intruders. And with only a few of our living people up there to keep an eye on them."

"Impressive," said Barriss who was surprised by this new achievement by Almora. "I think it would be a good idea to make sure everything is okay up there just in case. Know anyone who can help us?"

Rick and Rachel tried to think of someone that can help them, but they knew most of the people that like them don't have access to the Halo. Jake on the other hand who is standing next to Nemu knew someone who can help them.

"We can always ask Sarah. Her dad worked on the Halo project and has access to it," said Jake as his sister and friend let out a small groan, which caused Numa to giggle.

"Sarah? Who is she?" Lux asked as he turns to the others. "And is she nice?"

Rachel sighed as she uses her hand to give a 'so-and-so' hand gesture. "She's an okay girl, but she's just…weird."

"She spends most of her time reading, in her dad's lab, and acts weird," Rick explained as he gets judgmental looks from his friends. "Hey! If you met her you would know what we're talking about. Jake is the only one who actually tried being friends with her."

"Well, I did become friends with her and she isn't that bad," Jake tried to explain. "Yes she is a big weird, but she's also pretty cool. If you give her a chance like we gave your friend a chance, Rick you'd see she is not that bad."

"One shouldn't judge someone until they spend time with them," said Ahsoka as she turns to Lux. "A lesson I learned from experience."

Lux smiles a little and nods in agreement. "She's right. If this Sarah can help us then we should give her a chance to try."

Rachel and Rick both groaned softly in unison. They aren't sure about this and feel this is going to be a big mistake. But their friends are right. They need to find out if the defenses of the planet is secured and this might be the only way to do it without Tiberous finding out.

"All right, but Jake you will go meet with her," said Rachel as she made the excuse she needs to help mom with her dress.

"That's fine," said Jake as he picks up Numa. "Numa loves visiting Sarah and she can help us convince her to join us."

Sarah a lot of fun and gives me candies," said Numa who is looking forward to meeting with Sarah.

"Seems like she got Numa's approval," said Barriss before turning to Jake. "By the way. Did you hear anything from Zane?"

Jake nods in response. "Zane is on Almora, but he is keeping a low-profile. He'll show up if things go south. For now though we should get back. I take it Obi Wan is already aware of the plan?"

Lux nods in response before turning to the others. "If things go bad we'll need to follow the plan. But if nothing happens then we can use this time to relax and have some fun."

"Only time will tell," said Ahsoka as she felt a disturbance in the Force. "For now let's get everything ready. I sense whatever is waiting for us tonight will happen soon and if we're not careful it won't end well for anyone."

Meanwhile

Obi Wan had finished speaking with the Council and left to get some fresh air. He walks over to the balcony where he got a chance to look over the planet of Almora. He overlooks the city. Enjoying the view and how peaceful things look right now.

For how long though he thought. He knew if Damien unleashes his attack it will be worse than last time. He will unleash his full army and try wiping out this beautiful world. He couldn't let that happen.

He will help the others stop him and save Anakin. He looks down at his morpher and tightens his grip on it. He now has what he needs to help save Anakin. He won't sit on the sideline anymore and will save his friend…his brother from the darkness.

He knew it won't be easy though. He just hopes he'll avoid getting Padme involved. He can't risk her safety. If anything happens to her then they will lose Anakin forever.

"Something on your mind, Obi Wan?" Obi Wan snaps out of his thoughts when he heard a familiar voice.

Obi Wan turns around and finds to his shock to see who is there. "Satine."

It is the Duchess of Mandalore, Satine Kryze. And of course a former love of Obi Wan. He couldn't believe she is really here. He was both surprised, but at the same time happy to see her.

All while keeping himself in check so he didn't say or do something stupid. "What are you doing here? I mean I'm always happy to see you, but I'm surprise to see you here on Almora."

Satine knew what Obi Wan meant and simply smiled. "I suppose I never mentioned this before. I formed an alliance with Almora a year ago. It was after the corruption of Almec. Alexis contacted me and wanted to join an alliance. Not for weapons or to fight against our enemies, but rather to form an alliance with other neutral systems."

Satine explains that Alexis wanted to form this alliance with neutral systems who weren't involved in the war. She wanted to offer them protection from the fighting in exchange for trades and to form a new government she wants to make. A new galactic government, which is independent from the Republic and the Separatist. And one that won't end with a fight breaking out.

"Alexis wanted to push for this agreement after what happened to people of Kiros. She even send new security protection for their people after the fighting since they feared the Republic would not be enough to protect them," Satine finished explaining as she walks over to stand by Obi Wan. "She has also helped my people by providing us with the tools needed to better protect our people."

"All while making sure not to break your pacifist code," said Obi Wan who knew Satine would never accept any weapons or anything harmful to people. "And is this alliance she is forming all right with Almora going to war?"

Satine sighed as she shook her head in response. "Not exactly. Alexis though told us this was beyond her control. However, many of our allies are not upset with this. They understand why this is happening and are willing to continue to support Alexis, but for the time being she has excused herself from our alliance."

Obi Wan understood this decision. With Almora now in the war the other neutral systems can't be allies with them. If they do the Separatist will likely attack them for their support of Almora. For their safety it is best they wait until the fighting is done to reform their alliance.

"However, Alexis invited me to join to festival a few months ago. Although I am surprised to find you here, Obi Wan," said Satine who didn't expect the Jedi to be on Almora.

Obi Wan wish Alexis had told him about Satine coming so he could have convinced her not to come. However, it was too late for that now and needs to keep up the appearance that everything is fine.

"Well, the Council felt this would be a good way for us to form a better relationship with Almora," Obi Wan lied. "So, we joined the senators as their escort and make sure everything goes well."

"I see," Satine knew Alexis invited senators from the Republic, but didn't expect to find the Jedi here as escorts. "Well, that is good to hear then. I trust I will see you tonight then?"

Obi Wan nods in response, while hoping nothing bad will happen. He then noticed some of the senators walking by and Satine nods towards them.

"I best be going. It was good to see you again Obi Wan," said Satine as she gives Obi Wan a small nod. "Maybe when the ceremony begins we will get a chance to talk some more."

"I would like that," said Obi Wan as he watched Satine join the senators and leave.

Once she was gone Obi Wan leans against the balcony and sighs. "I just hope everything will be okay tonight so we can have a chance to talk."

Meanwhile

In another part of the palace there is the homes of the people who work for the royal family. They have been given their own homes inside the large palace, which were more like apartments. They are given to those who work for the family and once they leave they will leave their homes. So the next employ can have it.

In one of these apartments there is a young girl around 16 years of age. She appears with black hair that is tied in a bow, green eyes with freckles on her cheeks, fair skin, and wearing glasses. She is seen all alone in her room as she appears to be working on something. However, she is soon interrupted by a knock on her door.

She puts her things away and goes over to the door. Looking through the peephole she sees it is Jake and Numa. The young girl opens the door and greets them. "Hello Jake and hello Numa. What are you two doing here? Shouldn't you be getting ready for the festival?"

"We are, but we decided to take a little break," said Jake as Numa goes over to the girl and gives her a big hug. "Numa also wanted to see how you are doing, Sarah. And if we will see you at the festival."

The girl now revealed to be Sarah returns the hug and picks up Numa before she hears what Jake told her. Her expression turned to one of unsure as she pets Numa's head. "I'm…not sure. I want to, but my father thinks I should stay in and he would come by so we may spend time together."

Jake knew her father was…well weird. He would always have someone keep an eye on her and even when she babysits Numa there would be some guards there with her. It made Jake wonder why the father is being overprotective of his daughter. Maybe because someone might hurt her or is it something else?

Still, he figured the father would let her go out to spend time and have fun during the festival. He didn't see anything wrong in that and wish the father would lighten up a little.

"That sucks. I'm sure Numa would want you to come with us," said Jake as he turns to his sister. "Right?"

Numa looks up at Sarah and smiles at her. "Want to play with Sarah. Will Sarah come by and play?"

Sarah smiles down at the little girl and sets her down before kneeling down in front of her. "I will try. But I have a feeling you didn't come by to see if I'm going to the festival," she then looks up at Jake. "Am I right?"

Jake knew he couldn't get passed her with anything. "You see my mom is worried that my uncle might have overlooked something in our defenses. You know maybe something small that he didn't notice. Now, she would have gone to him to talk about this, but you know my uncle."

Oh Sarah is fully aware of how Jake's uncle is like. "And she could not talk to her father?"

"He's too busy getting things ready. So, I thought maybe I could help her by going to someone who I know is very good at checking to see how our security system is. You know, without letting one know about it."

Sarah now understood what Jake wanted and sighed. "So, you want be to hack into our security system to make sure everything is working and nothing is wrong? Despite knowing how illegal that is, how dangerous that is, and how much trouble I might get in if I do this?"

Jake knew there were risks and it would be bad, but he has an ace up his sleeve. "I convinced Rachel and Rick to spend an entire day with you to do whatever you want."

"Okay," said Sarah who was quick to accept the deal. "When do you need me to check the security system?"

"As soon as possible," said Jake as he follows Sarah who is getting something from her backpack. "And thank you for doing this."

"Well, honesty I would have accepted anyways," said Sarah who would have done anything for her friend. "But now knowing your sister and friend will spend time together with me…does this mean they changed their mind and they like me?"

"If you do this I think they'll like you even more," said Jake who knew he will pay the price for doing this, but he knew it was worth it to get what they need. "So, do we need to connect to the security system or to a computer or how?"

Sarah turns to Jake and smiles at him. "Relax. I know what I am doing."

Coruscant

Chancellor Palpatine or rather Darth Sidious is seen overlooking the city of Coruscant. He watched as the citizens go about their night trying to recover from the invasion. Despite this attack he took advantage of it and it helped raise his popularity. Even managed to gain some more power from the Senate.

He knew it wouldn't be long before he has complete power that he can get rid of the old Republic. Giving birth to his vision of an empire that is under his control and rule. However, for this plan to work he needs a new apprentice that is as strong as Skywalker was to succeed Dooku. He also needs to wipe away the Power Rangers and Damien so no one will stand in his way.

Luckily for him the plan to destroy Damien and the Power Rangers is underway. He already send Count Dooku back to the Separatist once they completed their ritual. It took him a while, but thanks to his former master's knowledge of the Dark Side he managed to find what he needed. If this works then it won't be long before his last obstacles are eliminated.

Soon a hologram of General Arachnia appeared in the room with Palpatine keeping his back to the hologram. "Did he take it?"

General Arachnia nods in response. "It won't begin affecting him until the fighting begins, but once it does he will fall. For now though, I will lie and wait to make my own move."

"Excellent," said Darth Sidious as he turns towards Arachnia. "My project is already ready. If all goes according to plan then we will use it to finish off our enemies once and for all."

"And once they are gone then I will finally get to leave this universe," said General Arachnia as she began to laugh. "Prepare your best bottle of wine, Darth Sidious. Tonight we celebrate the end of the Power Rangers and Damien."

That's the end of the chapter and it seems bad guys can't ever get along. I wonder why? Sure they all have their own evil desires, but the goal should be the same right? I guess not.

Oh well, it seems things are getting heated up with us finding some more stuff about Tiberous and Alexis. A nice little moment before it got ruined. What happened to their brother that caused them to become so bitter against one another? Will they find out what is going on before it is too late?

Also, will the Power Rangers get some help from this new friend of Jake? Will she end up giving our heroes the information they need? Will they get it in time? Or will it be too late by then?
