Epilogue
Almora
A week has passed since the fighting between the people of Almora and Damien ended. The people were happy that they won and they were able to defeat Damien thanks to the Power Rangers. Word of what happened began spreading across the galaxy. The fear that Damien had brought to the galaxy was soon gone.
The people no longer feared Damien or his monsters. They instead began believing in themselves and in the Power Rangers. Stories soon began to spread about how more Power Rangers appeared that night and how they vanquished Damien. This even caused those who are under the control of the Separatist to begin rebelling.
Marking themselves with the colors of the Power Rangers as their inspiration. This caused problems for the Separatist who tried to squash these rebellions. However, the people still fought back and soon hope began returning to the galaxy. Something Damien's allies didn't want to see happen.
Despite their victory though, the people of Almora knew there was no time to celebrate. They began working on rebuilding their city, bury their dead, give thanks for their sacrifice, and help families who lost their homes of businesses get back on their feet.
However, there is one family that unfortunately had trouble getting back on their feet and that's the royal family. Word began spreading that Tiberous betrayed his people and helped Damien. This shocked the people of Almora who couldn't believe Tiberous would do such a thing. However, evidence was found to prove his involvement and that he helped sabotage their communications allowing Damien to gain an early advantage.
Tiberous didn't bother fighting the charges and instead plead guilty. Accepting full responsibilities for his actions and is ready to accept his fate.
Tiberous is seen in the throne room of the royal family. His father, the king stood in front of his son with members of the royal guards and advisors who were charged to record everything. Alexis is seen near the door with her daughter Numa watching everything. Nathan and their children were off speaking with Zane so they weren't there for the sentencing.
"Tiberous Nite, you understand the charges set against you?" Ronin asked his son, but was trying to keep himself professional…just like his son asked him to. "You understand you are pleading guilty to charges of treason against your people?"
Tiberous nods in response. "I understand and I accept full responsibilities of my actions. I am ready to accept whatever punishment you will hand down to me without resistance."
Tiberous sighed as looks up at the ceiling not wanting to punish his son for what he did. But he knew now that people found out what Tiberous did they will want justice. If he goes soft on him the people will rebel. Tiberous knows this and that is why he is willing to accept his punishment since he deserves it.
Tiberous looks down at his son and soon gives his sentencing. "Tiberous Nite…you are hereby sentenced to spend 25 to 35 years in prison. With a possibility of parole after the 25 year mark. Do you have anything to say before you are taken away?"
Tiberous closed his eyes for a moment to think of anything he should say. Anything for his soldiers who he trained to know or something for his people. He opened his eyes a minute later and turns to his sister before turning back to his father. Now knowing what he wants to say.
"That I am sorry for everything I did. I thought Almora had grown weak under the rule of the king. That if my sister had taken over our planet would be left in a weakened state to the point our world would be taken over. But I knew that was all a lie…"
A huge lie that Tiberous kept telling himself so he would justify his actions. "I realized three days ago how wrong I was. Not only did our people work together to protect our world, but they showed the galaxy that even in a weakened state our people survived. That we would endure any situation and overcome it together. Not through hatred or rage…but through trust, love, and bravery."
Tiberous begins forming a small smile as he realized how wrong he truly was. "I am glad our people proved me wrong. I don't deserve to rule for what I did, for doubting my people, and for betraying their trust. I know I can never regain your trust and I understand if you never forgive me for what I did. I deserve this and I will never bring harm to any of you again."
Ronin turns to his advisors who both nod their heads letting him know they finished writing everything. Once they finished Ronin clears his voice before he finishes carrying out this sentence.
"Very well. This court is adjourned then. The guards will take you to your holding cell until tomorrow for your transfer," said Ronin as he adjourns the trial and begins approaching his son. "You sure you want to do this?"
Tiberous nods in response. "Keeping me in my holding cell for another day isn't really going to change my mind, father. We both know the royal guards will make sure nothing bad happens to me if a protest happens."
"True, but it is more getting your cell ready since I want to make sure no one tries to take your life while inside," Ronin let's out a small sigh and placed his hand on his son's shoulder. "I wanted to say something else…I'm sorry for not telling you or your sister the truth. If I did then maybe you wouldn't have fallen down this path, but at the time I…I'm truly sorry for everything."
Tiberous shook his head and placed his hand on his father's arm. "You wanted to keep your promise to Alphonse and to be honest I probably would have done the same thing if I were in your shoes. Still, I'm the one who took this path, father. I'm the one who turned on the people and helped Damien attack our world. I even plotted to kill our family…I need to pay for what I did because it is the right thing to do."
The king didn't like the idea of sending his son to prison, but he knew there is no changing his son's mind. If he wants to do this then he will do it. At least he'll make sure he is taken care of while inside. And he will make sure no one tries harming his son.
"Very well," said Ronin as he wraps his arms around his son to embrace him for a hug.
Tiberous does his best to return the hug despite being cuffed. Once they finished the guards begin taking Tiberous away. They stop near Alexis as she wanted to speak to her brother. The guards stood back to allow the siblings to speak.
"I take it father told you everything?" Tiberous asked.
Alexis nods in response. "Not exactly happy that he kept such a secret from me…but, I figured if Alphonse told him not to say anything then I guess I can't be too mad."
Tiberous nods before he begins looking down. "I take it Nathan and the others are off on their little meeting? Have they found anything on Damien?"
Alexis shook her head in response. "Zane hasn't found anything, but he figures after what happened we won't see him around for a good while. The others though are still going to remain cautious though."
Tiberous figured as much as he looks up at his sister. "Alexis…I'm sorry. About what I said before to you, your family, and…" he then looks down at Numa who tries hiding behind her mother. "To Numa. I should never have said all those terrible things. I was wrong. You will keep our people safe and I know you'll do a better job than I ever could."
Alexis begins smiling a little. She is glad to know her brother took back all he said. It made her happy to know the man she used to respect and look up to is back. Although she wish it wasn't before he goes to jail.
"I still wish you didn't have to go to prison," said Alexis who wish she could do more to help her brother.
Tiberous placed his hand on her shoulder and shook his head. "We both know why I need to do this. I deserve it and I need to do what is right for our people. I betrayed their trust and I need to be punished. We are not above and our people need to know that."
Alexis knew her brother is right. If they bend the rules for Tiberous it will cause trouble. The people will lose trust in the royal family. There already is trouble, but it could go bad for them unless they do something about it.
"Just know I'll still visit you…and so will the kids and Nathan," said Alexis knowing her family will still try to support Tiberous to help him get through this.
"That reminds me," Tiberous kneels down in front of Numa who remained hidden behind her mother. "Numa…I know I have said a lot of terrible things about you and how I made it feel like you aren't one of us…I was wrong. I should never had said any of those horrible things to you. You are not only one of us, but you are family, and you are my niece. I'm sorry for everything I said and I know you'll never forgive me, which I don't expect you to. But just know I am sorry for hurting you."
Numa listened carefully to every word he said. He sounds very sincere and she could tell he seem to mean every bit of what he said. She still wasn't sure what to do or say since he never said anything nice to her before. But after a small gesture from her mother she decided to try going to him and give him a hug…the first one she has ever given him.
Tiberous was a little taken back by this. He didn't really expect her to hug him. Despite being taken aback he tries to return the hug. All while Alexis looks on.
Alexis is happy to know her brother has accepted Numa and that her daughter has forgiven her uncle. She just hopes when Tiberous does leave prison he'll be forgiven by the rest of the people. Only time will tell. For now though she is just happy to see her daughter being accepted by her uncle and that he cares about her.
Coruscant
After the fight on Almora, the Republic fleet was allowed to arrive to the planet to help with the clean-up. It was a good chance for the Republic to get in good with the people of Almora. They also used the chance to gather up any parts of Damien's robots and ships that are still workable. This was hard to do since Almora's soldiers made sure before the Republic arrived to prevent any of these weapons or technology to be left behind.
The Jedi though used this chance to help sneak Anakin Skywalker off-world to get him back to the Jedi Temple. Once he was freed of Damien's control the Council needed to bring him back without anyone finding out. They didn't want anyone to find out how Skywalker was alive and what he was doing on Almora. If the Republic found out or hell if Almora found out they would want him arrested.
The Jedi took him back to the temple and had him locked in a holding cell where medical droids evaluated his condition. Both physically and mentally to see if he is himself again or still has any of the influence from Damien. Once the tests were finished, Obi Wan went to see Anakin. To see how his former student is doing as he finds him awake in his cell on his bed.
Obi Wan went over the results of the test to Anakin and made sure to explain it all in great details. Anakin seemed aware of everything that happened and didn't fight or demand to be let out once he woke up.
"The medical droids informed us you were aware of where you are and why we had you locked up," said Obi Wan as he went through the datapad over Anakin's answers to the droids. "Does this mean you were aware of everything that happened when you were the Cerberus Ranger?"
Anakin slowly nods in response. He looked like a mess. The medical droids tried helping clean him up before he woke up. But he still looked like he went through hell.
"I remember everything. From being captured by Damien, the tortures I went through, and while I was under his influence…" Anakin looks down at his plastic prosthetic arm. "While I was under the influence of the darkness within me."
Obi Wan waits to bring the topic of Anakin's dark side since he wanted to get through everything else first. "The droids took notice of the scars, burned marks, and internal injuries that didn't seem to come from the fighting a week ago. As far as your psychological test…they found you are in their view in good mental health, but the Council isn't sure about that since you did say you were aware of everything."
Anakin scoffed at the idea of the droids saying he was in good mental health. He knew that was a lie and he could feel it. Despite everything that happened he knew he wasn't in good health. Not even close.
"I assume that's why they asked you to come see me? To see if I still have any bit of that darkness within me? The same one Damien brought out? And the same one that he used to help almost destroy you all," said Anakin figuring why Obi Wan came.
Obi Wan shook his head in response. "No. I volunteered because I wanted to see how you were doing. I came because I'm worried about you. I'm worried how you are holding up. And because…Padme wants to see you."
Anakin closed his eyes when he heard Padme's name. He remains where he is at and sighed before he replied.
"How do you think I feel? I feel responsible for everything that happened. We both know Damien may have brought out the evil within me, but he didn't control it. That thing was me…the evil within me that had been build up for years and it was because I couldn't control my temper."
Obi Wan shook his head in response. "Because I kept you from letting out your emotions," said Obi Wan blaming himself for what happened. "If I hadn't kept you from letting out how you felt, from keeping your emotions locked up, and had been so strict of you then this probably wouldn't have happened."
"No!" Anakin replied raising his voice a little. "You did everything you could to teach me, but I was too stubborn to listen at times because…"
"Because I wasn't like Qui-Gon," said Obi Wan who knew who Anakin was going to refer to. "Anakin, I'm not going to lie. When I took you as my student I did all I could to teach you in the ways the Jedi wanted. Not the way Qui-Gon would have wanted. I did the best I could, but I knew it wasn't enough."
Anakin got up from his seat on the bed and approached the ray shield. "No. You are wrong. I understand now what you were trying to do. And I appreciate everything you did…but it doesn't change the facts that I let myself get easily angered."
Anakin sighed as he looks down from Obi Wan before he continued. "I thought you didn't believe in me, I thought you didn't have any trust in me, and I thought you didn't defend me enough in front of the Council because you thought I was immature. But you were right. I was immature and I have only myself to blame. I let all that anger and frustration build inside of me until…until I unleashed it on Tatooine."
Obi Wan recalled what Anakin's evil counterpart told him and approached the cell before stopping in front of the ray shield. "Anakin…why didn't you tell me what happened? Was it because you blamed me for not letting you see your mother? If it was then you have every right to hate me for not letting you see her. I was just worried if you went back for her you would have done something reckless."
Anakin scoffed as he looks back at Obi Wan. "Well, I did do something reckless and stupid. I did blame you for what happened, but I was still afraid. Afraid I let you down. Afraid I was falling to the Dark Side and that I let you down as your student."
Obi Wan shook his head and tries to help Anakin. "You didn't fail me. I failed you. I failed you as your master, your friend, and your brother. I failed to save you before, but now I want to help save you now. Let me help you."
Obi Wan puts away the datapad and begins explaining everything. "The Council wants to work to help you recover from what happened. They will continue to monitor you, have more tests be conducted, and if you do well then you will be brought back to the Jedi Order. Maybe even this will help put you on the path to becoming a member of the Council."
Anakin stares in disbelief at the offer Obi Wan and the Council was giving him. They are willing to let him come back? Return as a Jedi? Like nothing ever happened?
Sure, he'll need to go through some tests first, but once he recovers they will let him become a master? It sounds too good to be true. It does feel like something the old him would accept. But after what he went through…
"No," Anakin replied as he walks back to his bed. "I'm too dangerous, Obi Wan. You saw that."
"The darkness within you was destroyed, Anakin. Zane tested you," said Obi Wan recalling Zane coming by to test Anakin to make sure Damien's influence and the darkness within him was gone. "You can come back to us. You can return to your old life."
"How do we know the darkness in me is truly gone? How do we know that?" Anakin asked clearly not convinced. "Even if you say it wasn't me that did all those terrible things as the Cerberus Ranger we both know it was. All that hatred and anger came from me. It all came from me and I killed too many innocent people. Let's not forget I also killed those Tusken Raiders and I'm sure the Council knows about me being married to Padme. If they find out she is pregnant with our children or if my enemies find out…"
Anakin stopped himself for a moment when he realized the dangers his wife and their children will be. "If anything happens to her or our children while I am freed…that will be it. I will hunt down those who harmed them and I will make them all pay. If I do that I will become too dangerous and I will become another threat to the galaxy. For everyone's sake, even Padme's…"
Anakin turns to Obi Wan who looks like wanted to say something, but he knew Anakin made up his mind. He wasn't going to change it any time soon. Obi Wan knew this and decided to give Anakin time to recover. Maybe then he will change his mind and will accept the deal.
"Just promise me one thing…keep Padme and our children safe," said Anakin asking his former mentor for a favour. 'Please don't let anything happen to them. Please keep them out of harm's way. No matter what."
Obi Wan nods in response. "You have my word. Just do me one favour…she wants to see you. Will you please speak with her?"
Anakin wasn't sure if he should see his wife after what happened, but he knew he should. If he didn't she would try finding a way in to see him. He knew her too well. If it isn't with Obi Wan's help it will be with Ahsoka. Speaking of which…
"Before you let her in, can you do me one more favour?" Anakin stood up from the bed. "Please tell Ahsoka…I'm sorry for everything I did to her. Tell her I never told Damien about her secret. Tell her also…I'm proud of her. And that if forms any feelings for the boy tell her I hope she will be happy with him."
"I will," Obi Wan replied as he turns off the ray shield before walking towards the door behind him. He opens the door to find Padme on the other side wearing a cloak to hide her body and a hood to hide her face.
"Take as much time as you need," Obi Wan whispered.
Padme nods in response. "Thank you," she replied before she goes over to see Anakin.
Obi Wan stood by the door as he watches Padme go up to Anakin. Anakin stood where he was unsure what to do or even say. Padme though didn't need him to say anything. She goes over to him and embraces him in a hug.
Anakin felt her hugging him and after a moment of hesitation began returning the hug. Feeling a bit of tears falling down his eyes as he closed them so he can enjoy this moment.
Obi Wan smiled when he saw this and hopes this will help change Anakin's mind about the deal. The old Obi Wan would probably have been against what his student did and would make sure Ahsoka didn't form any attachments out of fear she would turn to the Dark Side. But this Obi Wan knew now the rules were wrong. Sure, they still have to be careful about attachments, but he saw that it was love that brought Anakin back from the darkness.
It was love that kept hope that he could come back. That it would bring him out of the darkness and into the light. That it was the rules that drove Anakin to bottle up all that anger and hate, which he unleashed on Tatooine. Perhaps if the rules were different things would have turned out differently.
Perhaps that is something Obi Wan will need to bring up to the Council for their next meeting. Perhaps if Anakin accepts the deal and works to get better with those who love him then they can change the ways of the Jedi. It was all really Obi Wan can do though is hope. For now though he'll leave Anakin with Padme and hope everything will work out well for them both.
Endor
The six Power Rangers have all gathered in the Command Center after a week on relaxing and to recover from the fighting. They used that chance though to help with the clean-up and help with the people. It was also a good chance for them to celebrate. They not only defeated Damien, but they also saved Anakin, Vampira is gone, and they defeated Astronema.
Sure, Damien and Astronema both got away. But thanks to what happened the people across the galaxy were no longer afraid of Damien. They were feeling hopeful that things will get better. And have become full-supporters of the Power Rangers.
Still, the Rangers knew as long as Damien and his allies are out there the fighting is not over. They figured that's why Zane asked them to come here. They figured it must have something to do with Damien and what their next move is. The only one who couldn't make it to the meeting is Obi Wan.
"And you sure he can't convince the Council to put off their meeting for the next day?" Rick asked as he pushes himself against the control panels across the room in his chair.
"Unfortunately the Council has much to discuss about what happened," said Barriss as she is leaning against the control panel where Rick rolled towards. "They are still deciding on what they will do about Skywalker."
"You mean about the whole 'is he good again or not?' and 'will we let him remain a Jedi despite being married?' situation?" Rachel asked as she is seen walking around the room with Lux, while avoiding Rick rolling around the room.
"I just hope they won't do something stupid. He wasn't in control of his actions," said Lux who feels Ahsoka's former mentor shouldn't be blamed for what happened.
"No, he wasn't," said Ahsoka as she is seen next to Jake near the Viewing Globe. "Being married to Padme did leave many of them upset, but they are more worried about what is going on in his mind. Obi Wan told me Anakin was aware of what was happening, but couldn't do anything about it. It felt like he was a puppet being controlled. Unable to speak out or be freed."
"And that's the worst part of the whole thing," said Jake who felt bad for Anakin for what happened to him. "Still, I remember you said he still feels responsible for what happened, right?"
Ahsoka nods in response. "We tried to tell him he wasn't in control and he shouldn't burden himself with this. But…he still takes responsibilities for what happened. It was his anger, his rage, and his hatred that was inside him. If he had been better control of his emotions things could have turned out differently."
"Somehow I doubt it. Master Skywalker isn't like us, Ahsoka. He was brought in at nine years of age after being freed from slavery," said Barriss who remembers the stories her master told her about Anakin. "He still had attachments during this mother, which is the reason why when we are found at a young age we are taken before such attachments occur."
Rick sighed as he stops rolling around in his seat. "Honestly, I still feel that is stupid. The whole attachment thing is just plain dumb. Having attachments and feeling emotions isn't a bad thing. Hell you two are proof of that and saving Skywalker is also proof of that."
Barriss didn't disagree with this, especially how wrong the rules have proven to be. "And yet we have proof of what happened when you can't let go of someone who is gone. For Skywalker, the visions of his mother in pain and finding her before she dies in his arm…it was too much for him."
"I know that feeling all too well," said Lux who understood what Anakin went through and how he felt the same kind of anger he did. "I wanted nothing but revenge against Count Dooku for what he did to my mother. I wanted to do whatever it took to kill him…" he then turns towards Ahsoka. "Until someone helped me realize the path I was on was the wrong one."
Ahsoka smile a little glad to know how much she helped put Lux on a better path. If he wanted to bring Dooku in that would have been fine, but asking for Death Watch's help? Not exactly the kind of people to trust, especially with all the horrible things they have done. She just wish she could have done something to help Anakin if she knew what he did.
"We can only hope that Anakin will recover from his ordeal," said Jake who knew there isn't much they can do right now, except be there for him. "And maybe if we bring in Damien we can do just that."
The door behind the Rangers soon open as Zane came into the room with Nathan and Alpha. "I agree. Skywalker's road to recovery will be a long one, but with all of you by his side there is a chance he will recover. But bringing in Damien to justice well…that might be enough for him as well."
"How do you feel?" said Rachel as she saw Zane using his staff to help him walk.
"Sore and exhausted," said Zane as Rick got off the chair and allows Zane to sit down. "That's what happens when I used up all my power to fight against Damien."
Alpha walks over to his friend and hands him a drink. "Luckily for you you'll be back on your feet in a few weeks. Although I would recommend not doing that again."
Ahsoka knew that feeling, especially how her body feels from the fighting. "By the way…how is your daughter doing?"
After the fighting ended Zane found the vial that believes holds the cure for his daughter. Once he had it tested he began administrating it to Serenity. It began slowly working, but unfortunately it will take time. Months probably before she is completely cured.
"It's a slow progress, but the cure appears to be working," Zane began chuckling softly. "Hard to imagine that Damien was telling the truth. That he did have a cure for her after all and he didn't want to kill her…despite everything we went through there is still some good in him. Deep down. But despite that he still needs to pay for what he did and he will…once I recover."
Nathan nods in agreement since he was still sore from his fight as well. "Still, despite what happened we wanted to tell you kids how proud we are of all six of you. You all did an amazing job helping protect Almora, its people, and saving the day."
Zane smiled a little and nods in agreement. "When I first met you six I knew you would do great things, but as time passed you kept on surprising me more and more with everything you all went through. I'm sure if the original Rangers were here they would think the same thing."
Rick began chuckling softly. "Well, we did have good teachers."
Barriss nods in agreement with that. "It's true. Some of us were already skilled in fighting, but thanks to you three we grew and became stronger."
Lux knew that was true, especially with Alpha teaching him while he was injured. "We appreciate everything you all did and we hope to continue proving ourselves.'
"You already have," said Zane as he stops for a moment knowing what he is going to say next. "You have all proven yourselves time and time again with everything you went through. You struggled, went through hell, and yet despite everything you went through you remained a team. I am proud of you six for standing together and keeping everyone safe, which brings up the reason I asked you all here."
"What is it?" Ahsoka asked wondering what Zane wants to tell them.
Zane turns to Nathan who nods his head in response before he turns to the kids. "The reason I kept my morpher is because Zane trusted me with it. He felt I could use it to do a lot of good without using it for personal gains or to harm innocent people."
Alpha steps forward and speaks up next. "Zane had planned once Damien was defeated to take the morphers back since there isn't any need for the Power Rangers to be around. He felt the Jedi and the Republic can work on restoring peace to the galaxy."
The six Rangers look on a bit concerned. Sure, they knew they would have to give up their powers sooner or later since Zane didn't want their powers used in any of the battles. But they then noticed Alpha said 'had' planned to take the morphers. Meaning he was going to, but not anymore, which means he changed his mind?
Zane speaks up now as he gets to the point. "Damien will most likely return and we still have his allies to deal with," he begins to stand up as he uses his staff to help him. "I have decided that the Sith have become a threat to this galaxy for far too long. With the Jedi too focused on this war and with them losing more of their own, I know they won't be able to stop them."
The Rangers look at each other a bit confused at first wondering if Zane is going where they think he is going.
"Zane, are you…do you mean?" Ahsoka began trying to ask what everyone is asking. "Are you saying we can…use our morphers to fight in the war?"
Zane sighed as he moves his hand up. "Now hold on. I am considering letting you use them, but only if you agree to my conditions."
The Rangers all nod in response figuring there would be a catch. They don't know what it is, but figured they will agree with whatever they are.
"Okay," Zane begins listing off his terms. "You can only use the morphers when it is absolutely necessary and you have no other options. You also from now on can't tell anyone else you're secret. And you must promise me you'll never abuse the power. You follow my conditions and you will keep the morprhers…deal?"
The Rangers all look at each other knowing there is no way in hell they are going to break any of those rules. They have made it this far despite everything they went through. If they can use their powers for good and help bring this war to an end then they should take this chance. And with the galaxy by their side they'll be able to do it.
"I'm in," said Jake as the first to agree to the deal.
"I'm in too," said Rachel as she steps forward with her brother.
"No way am I passing this up," said Rick as he joins his two friends.
"To help restore peace and balance to the galaxy. I'm in as well," said Barriss as she joins her friends to fight with them.
"It would be an honor to fight alongside you all and help end this war," said Lux as he joins his friends and hopefully get justice for his mother.
Ahsoka approached the group and smiles. "Like I will let you all do this without me. I'm in."
Nathan approached the kids and moves his hand forward. All six Rangers placed their hands and all agree to fight together. They all cheered at the same time as Nathan took a step back let the Rangers embrace in a hug. As the Rangers begin celebrating, Zane sat back down in his seat as his smile changed and he appears to be deep in his thoughts.
Alpha noticed this and begins speaking to Zane. "Is something wrong?"
Zane nods in response as he kept her eyes to the floor. "Something about what happened on Almora didn't feel right. Damien had his full power released and with it he should have had enough to do some serious damage to us all. Hell, even after that attacked we both fired he should have had enough to hold his own against the Rangers. And yet he began losing his powers."
"Maybe it was the strain of not being used to having them for so long?" Alpha figured.
Zane shook his head in response. "Even then he should have had enough to fight back. It even looked like he was shocked by what happened as well. Either Astronema messed up on the spell to return his full power, which I highly doubt…or something else happened that caused his powers to drain."
"Do you believe it was his Sith allies?" Alpha asked figuring that must be another reason why Zane wants the Rangers to fight against them.
Zane nods in response. "Even then that worries me. If they had that kind of power to weaken Damien, there is no telling what else they can do."
Zane knew this is truly troubling if the Sith have the power to weaken a powerful enemy like Damien. If they can weaken him then there is a chance they could do the same to the Rangers. If this is true then Zane needs to be careful. He can't take any chances or risks if things go badly.
If they do and they end up like what happened to the Rangers from long ago…perhaps now would be a good chance to give the Rangers what they need.
"Alpha, see if we can still contact Ziva. I need to ask her something," said Zane as he looks up to the Rangers to see them celebrating before he began to smile. "On second thought…let's wait a few more days. I think for now they should use this chance to enjoy their moment."
Rhen Var
A loud scream can be heard coming from Damien's throne room. Damien is seen ripping his throne from the wall before tossing it halfway across the room. Damien even destroyed the cabinet where he kept his monsters. It was clear that Damien wasn't just pissed off, but was in full-rage mode.
"HOW DID THIS HAPPEN?!" Damien shouted as he tosses what is left of his throne out of the room and to the ground. "HOW COULD WE HAVE LOST?!"
Despite a week passing Damien had spent much of his time recovering from his fight. He was badly hurt and needed medical attention immediately. He couldn't believe he lost. Not after everything he had done to get to this moment.
He lost Vampira, then he lost his knight, then his wife was almost killed, his army was wiped out leaving him with only a few hundred robots, and then he lost to the Power Rangers! This shouldn't have happened. Not with his full-power. And yet something happened. His powers were beginning to disappear.
He couldn't understand this. He knew his wife didn't do anything to the drink she made to break the seal. He also doubts Zane did something to take away his powers since he would have done that long ago. So, what happened?
As he continued to destroy his throne room Mother Talzin entered the room. "Are you finished?"
Damien turns to Mother Talzin clearly still pissed off before he took a nearby pillar, rips it off, and destroys his dark Viewing Globe causing it to explode. Damien begins panting heavily as he turns to Mother Talzin slowly trying to calm himself down.
"How is my wife?" Damien asked in a calm tone.
Mother Talzin begins walking towards Damien now seeing he has relaxed. "Your wife was badly wounded and would have died. However, I managed to keep her stabilized on Dathomir."
Damien knew the dark magic that exists on the planet will help his wife recover. "Good. Take the remains of my army and take them to the planet," he ordered as he walks to the balcony. "I also take it that General Arachnia has yet to be found?"
Mother Talzin nods in response. "You believe she had a hand in what happened to you?"
"Of course," said Damien as he suspects the treacherous spider helped weaken him somehow. "How she did it I don't know. Her knowledge of dark magic is limited and even then my wife would have detected something in the drink if Arachnia had a hand in this."
Mother Talzin agrees with this as she approaches Damien and shows him the drink he took. "I used my magic to figure out what was in the drink. It turns out another ingredient was added to the drink. A powerful serum that was designed to strip you of your powers. Destroying the side of you that came from your father until you become completely human."
Damien didn't need to be told that since he already is human. He tried calling on his powers, but nothing happened. He couldn't even transform into his real form. Yes, he still has some of his superhuman powers, but they weren't as strong as before.
Hell, he had trouble lifting and throwing the throne. He knew Arachnia had help weakening him, but who?
It was then Damien had a theory of who helped her. "Mother Talzin, is it possible the Sith can perform dark magic as well?"
Mother Talzin nods in response. "You think Darth Sidious had a hand in this?"
"Indeed I did," said Darth Sidious as he appears in hologram form in the room. "Hello, Damien. I am surprised to see you are still alive."
Damien felt his anger rising as he approached the hologram. "I should have known the bitch had help from an old senile bastard like you. Well-played, but you made a big mistake. You should have made sure I had enough power to wipe out the Power Rangers, because now you'll have to deal with them."
"Not for long," said Darth Sidious who sounds confident in what he has in store for the Rangers. "But first, I must say I should thank you, Damien. Your involvement in the war has helped me gain more support from the Senate, especially when I began supporting the Power Rangers. You even provided me with giving my forces more upgraded weapons and equipment needed for my plans against the Jedi. And thanks to you I am more powerful than ever before."
Damien knew before Almora he gave Palpatine his youth back. In appearance he looks old, but physically his body has aged back. Allowing him to live longer and become more powerful. At the state he is in he can now rival Master Yoda in power.
Damien knew he shouldn't have given the old man his youth back, but he had to keep his end of the deal. "Well, too bad for you old man I'm still alive and when I get my powers back…I will destroy you."
"Unfortunately you won't live long enough to do that. Soon you'll face the creature that will destroy the Power Rangers and destroy the hope they have brought," said Darth Sidious as he begins to laugh. "And it will all be thanks to you and my new partner…"
General Arachnia appeared behind Darth Sidious as she began to smile. Damien sees her and begins balling his hands in a fist.
"Arachnia, you bitch! I will find you and when I do I will make you pay for betraying me!" Damien shouted at Arachnia.
"Goodbye, Master Damien. And thank you for setting me free," said General Arachnia as she mocked her former master. "And also have fun with our new pet.
Darth Sidious and General Arachnia were soon gone as a large crash can be heard below the mountain. Damien rushes to the balcony and hears a loud roar echoing across the planet. What came next was his robots engaging at the monster, but whatever it is it doesn't seem to be fazed. Damien cursed and turns to Mother Talzin.
"Find my wife, take as many of my robots with you, and escape," said Damien as he goes to where his throne was at and pulls out a sword.
"Why not run away, Damien? You cannot defeat whatever this thing is," said Mother Talzin knowing Damien will die if he stays. "Come with us and we will find a way to get your revenge."
"No," said Damien who refuses to flee. "I will not run away because of that old man. I will stay, I will fight, and if I die I will make sure that monster dies with me."
Damien goes to the wall that was behind his throne and punches through it. He grabs something behind the ice and pulls out a case. He hands it to Mother Talzin.
"Take it with you and when my wife awakens give it to her," said Damien as he turns to the door. "And tell her…I love her."
Mother Talzin nods as she took the case. "Good luck Damien and I hope you survive. I see your time in this world cannot end this way."
"Then let us hope you are right then," said Damien as Mother Talzin disappeared from the room leaving Damien alone. "All right, beastie. Let's see how powerful you are and if you even stand a chance against the Power Rangers."
Damien presses a button on his belt buckle causing armor to emerged around his body. Until he appears to look like a knight. Loud footsteps can be heard echoing down the hallway as Damien waits for the monster to show up. The footsteps stop for a minute as it soon became quiet.
Deadly quiet with only the sound of the snow storm behind them blowing. Soon the doors ripped open and all that can be heard next is the screams of Damien followed by a loud monsterous roar.
That's the end of season one! Not exactly the way I'm sure many expected, but yep this is the end. The Rangers have a good ending, Anakin is saved, but will need time to recover, and Tiberous got some forgiveness from Numa. But it looks like the war has only just begin now that Darth Sidious has a plan to destroy the Power Rangers.
What is this monster? How did he make it? I gave some hints during the whole story so hopefully you'll all figure it out. And will the Power Rangers be able to stop it?
Tune in next time…which will be months from now to find out. Okay, so this first season it was to introduce the Power Rangers to the Star Wars galaxy and have them make their mark. The second season will put the Rangers through some more challenges. Some more fighting and through some hell.
It will take me some time to work on it since I want to finish up the remaining stories I haven't done in a long time. So, next up is Pokémon. Going to finish that story up and then Digimon. Once I am done with them I will be working on the first of the sequels. The Injustice/Guardians of the Galaxy – Infinity War story.
Once I am done with the prequel of course. But yeah, this is the end for now, but thanks guys for the support. I appreciate everything and thanks for the reviews. Also thanks to my friend who remains anonymous for his help on the story.
I appreciate everything my friend and for going over the ideas with you. Also for the ideas you gave, especially for the Cerberus Ranger, Cerberus Zord, and Tiberous. Thank you so much my friend. And I'm glad I was able to work on this.
Anyways, keep on the lookout for the sequel and hope you all like what happens next time. Please leave some reviews to let me know what you all thought. Just no flame reviews please. Take care everyone, be safe, and see you all next time!
Unknown Location (A few days later)
A cloaked woman is seen in what appears to be an old ancient temple grounds. Much of the temple appears to be in ruins. With what appears to be statues of armored figures on the ground. And what appears to be old paintings of five colored armored figures kneeling in front of a pale skin woman with long white hair, a white dress, and something glowing in her hand.
Another cloaked woman walks into the temple and approached the woman before she kneels down in front of her. The hood kept much of her face hidden as she spoke to the woman.
"My lady, we have received a message from your brother. He said…the time has come."
The first cloaked woman stood up and turns to face the other cloaked woman. The first cloaked woman is seen holding a long white staff and a gold amulet around her neck in the form of thunderbolt.
"So it seems…" spoke the first cloaked woman as she turns to where she was staring at. "If my mother's vision is correct then they will be here in a couple of months. Make sure to prepare everything and inform the others."
The second cloaked woman bows her head before she stood up. "At once, my lady," the woman soon took off and leaves the cloaked woman alone.
The cloaked woman walks to the ledge of the temple and looks over towards a large mountain that is miles away from where she is at. She removes her hood revealing to be around her 40s with long white hair, blue eyes, and fair skin.
"I hope your Rangers are ready, little brother," said the mysterious woman. "If they are the ones mother foresaw then they are the ones that will help free the knights and help save the universe from what will come."
Now, that's the end of the chapter. You all didn't really think I would end it with what happened to Damien, right? Wrong! I had to end it with one last little surprise.
Now, I'm sure some of you are wondering who this woman is, what role she will play in the sequel, and where she is at? Well, first no it is not Dulcea like I'm sure many think it is. I gave away who it is and you will find out what her role will be in the sequel in due time.
For now, that's the end. I hope everyone liked how this went and will like how the sequel will go. But until then please be patient. Take care and see you all in the future!
