Chapter Two (Chapter 79) of the sequel is here my friends and hope everyone is ready. Here we go with the next chapter and I need to let people know this. These chapters will be uploaded every two weeks. So, I can use the time to edit anything or fix any mistakes I made so I can go back to fix it before I upload anything.

So, I hope everyone is okay with that and are ready for the next chapter. I want to also thank those for the reviews for the last chapter. Not just for this story, but the other two too. I appreciate it guys and glad you all liked them.

Last time we saw the return of the Power Rangers and they helped save the day. However, it seems there is someone spying on them and watched them fight. Who is behind this? Is it Damien?

Is it the old man? And how many are looking forward to what is to come?

Tune in today to find out. Also, I hope everyone is enjoying the return of the Clone Wars series. I know I am, especially when I got to see some of my favorites return. I know how it's all going to end, but I am curious to see how it's all going to go for everyone before we get to the Rebels series.

Will I also add anything from season 7 for this story? Hmm, that's a maybe. But for right now I'm going to focus on what I am doing now. But keep on reading to find out who will show up and how things will go.

Anyways, I wanted to thank you guys again for the reviews and support. I appreciate it and I am enjoying the comments you guys have left. Also thank you to my friend for his help as well and hope you are doing well my friend where you are at. Now, time for the disclaimer.

I don't own anything from Star Wars or the Power Rangers. I just own my OCs, while Tiberous was made by my friend. Enjoy the chapter everyone and hope you like this.

Rising Threat

Coruscant

A day has passed since the chancellor made his speech about the Power Rangers and how he thanks them for all the good they have done. They were reshowing the speech on the Holonet and the news showed what has been going on in the galaxy. From the Republic forces continuing to liberate more worlds from the Separatist, the support for the Republic growing, and the popularity of the Power Rangers spreading. To the point the news show messages the people were saying thanking the Rangers for all they have done.

While the news reporters speak about the Power Rangers and the chancellor, the six young heroes are seen in the diner eating some lunch. They had finished with their missions and were now hanging out enjoying their own little celebration.

They were also watching the chancellor speaking through the holonet. However, they decided to mute the speech since they know Palpatine didn't mean what he said when he praised them, and they heard it almost all day since it was made yesterday.

They knew he was only using them to get more popular among the people and to use them to remain in control. Unfortunately, it was working. From what they have been told, Palpatine has been continuing to gain more power from the senate. His popularity among the people has risen to the point that if Alexis did call for him to be removed it would backfire.

So, for now they will have to wait until the war ends and he is removed from power. With how things are going they might help end this war soon. Provided they can find Count Dooku and the Separatist leaders. So, they can force them to surrender and end this war.

The Rangers decided to ignore the rest of the speech and begin talking to each other. They spoke about their previous mission and seem to be laughing at some of the funny things that happened.

"And after my soldiers arrived, General Lok Durd surrendered. You should have seen the look on his face though," Ahsoka began chuckling a little as she restrains her laughter a little before she continued. "The poor guy looked like he was ready to soil himself when he saw his troops not only lose but how we surrounded him."

The others began laughing as they could only imagine the look on the male Neimoidian when he saw he lost the fighting and how scared he must have been.

"I think he looked even more scared when he saw you, Ahsoka," said Barriss as she recalled how the Separatist general recognized Ahsoka. "I bet he didn't have any good memories when he last saw you."

"No, he didn't," said Ahsoka as she took a sip of her drink. "Still, it was probably not as close as when you guys took on Atai and how you took him down."

Rick leans back against his seat and held his drink in his right hand. "Well, he was more pissed off than scared of us. Probably a little embarrassed too that he lost his slave empire…again."

"He may not have been scared, but his men were," said Rachel as she took a small bite of her food. "I think his men were even more scared of the people after we left them alone with them. Oh, I bet the people they tried to sell had some ideas in mind on how to punish them."

"But we didn't let it get that far," said Lux as he tried to reassure the two Jedi that they didn't let any harm come to the criminals. "After all, we did leave them beaten up when we fought them."

Jake knew they did get a little rough with the Zygerrians but then again, the Zygerrians weren't playing fair with them. He knew they tried to use the people of Kiros as hostages and even tried threatening their lives. So, they had to do what they had to do. But luckily, they didn't cross that line and killed them.

That was the last thing they wanted to do since they needed to pay for their crimes. Jake took his glass and sips his drink. "I'm just glad we saved the people of Kiros and kept them from being taken again. It also was cool to see how many of them supported us. Even saw a few kids with some Power Rangers dolls."

The other Rangers nod knowing they have been seeing children across the system holding their own hand-made dolls that their parents made. They even saw some kids dressed up as Power Rangers too. Even using old Clone helmets and painting them to look like Rangers. It made the Rangers feel good knowing how much of an influence they are over the kids and how they look up to them.

It was then that Rachel realized something. "I just remembered. Did you guys know it has been a year since we all came together? Like its been a year since Damien broke out of his prison, since Zane brought us together, and we became the Power Rangers?"

It was then the others soon realized this is true. It has been almost a year since their incredible journey began. It almost felt like yesterday that they were all out living their lives like normal until Damien appeared. After that, so much has happened, and they have all been through so much together.

Rick couldn't help but chuckle a little as he puts his drink down and leans against the table. "Hard to imagine its been a year since we chose this path. It doesn't feel like it has been that long ago since we became Rangers."

Ahsoka couldn't help but nod in agreement. "And its been a year since I first met you guys. Something I am glad happened and I've been happy to have become close to all of you…" she then grasps Jake's hand and smiled.

Jake smiled back at Ahsoka and nods before he turns to the others. He looks around to see Dexter is outside talking to an old friend of his while the droids are in the back cleaning. With no other customers around, Jake took his drink and stood up.

"A year ago, we didn't know each other," said Jake as he turns to his sister and best friend. "Well, the three of us didn't know any of you. But look where we were back then. Two of you were in the middle of a war, one focused on being a senator, and the rest of us…we went about our days like every other day."

Each of the Rangers thought back of where they were back then and how far they have come. With Jake and Rachel wearing their royal clothing while they attended festivities with their people, Rick training to become a royal officer while trying to prove himself. All the while, Lux was working as a politician in his office and attending meetings that went nowhere. And their Jedi friends were in the middle of fighting a war.

Ahsoka fighting alongside her Clones and her master against an army of Battle Droids. All while for Barriss, dealing with the trauma of losing more of her friends, and even cradling the death of one of her them in her arms. For Ahsoka, she was more trying to prove herself as a Jedi. While for Barriss, the war had become too much for her and she was slowly losing herself.

"We went about with our lives like always and it felt like it wasn't going anywhere," said Jake as he continued before turning to each of the others. "No matter how much we wanted things to change it didn't feel like that would ever happen…but that all changed when we met Zane."

The Rangers all smiled knowing Jake is right. Ever since they met Zane everything did change. Their lives changed forever, and they found a purpose. They all were able to work together to not only protect the galaxy from Damien but also keep the people safe.

"Not only did we become friends, but we became heroes. And not only that, but we brought hope to the galaxy," said Jake as he raises his glass knowing not only did, they make a difference, but they brought hope back to the galaxy. "And whether Damien comes back or whatever comes our way. We'll always watch each other's back, no matter what."

"Hell yeah," said Rick as the Rangers raise their glasses. "And no matter what comes our way we'll never give up. As long as we still believe and as long as there is still some fight left in us, we'll keep on fighting."

The Rangers all gently clank their drinks together before they took a sip of their drink. As they finished, Rachel sets her drink down and turns to Ahsoka.

"And maybe one day the rules will change within the Jedi Order," said Rachel as she turns rubs the side of her drink with her thumb. "When that happens, I bet they'll be surprised to find out two of their own are dating."

Barriss almost choked on her drink before she turns to Rachel. "Really? Why are you bringing this up?"

"Why not? I mean, the Jedi have already decided they are pulling out of the war and Ahsoka said your rules are changing," said Rachel as she explains what Ahsoka told her.

Ahsoka paused taking her drink as if she got in trouble. She turns to Barriss who looks surprised that she told the others what the Council is up to.

"Oh, um right I wasn't supposed to tell you guys that," said Ahsoka as she cleared her throat and moves her drink away.

Lux seems confused on what is going on since he figured this is what the girls wanted. "Is something wrong?"

Ahsoka could tell Barriss wasn't happy with what she did so she began to explain everything. "The Council is ready to make some changes to the rules…but not everyone agrees with the decision. Only a few of the Jedi Masters on the council has agreed that perhaps changing the rules about attachments might need to be changed, but…"

Barriss chimes in and finishes what Ahsoka was going to say. "Unfortunately, the majority of the Council aren't convinced. They are using the argument that forming attachments is what led Anakin Skywalker to the dark side. That it was because of him unable to let go of his attachment to his mother that led him to kill the Tusken Raiders, that it was his love for Padme that led to him making dark decisions, and that's how Damien took full advantage of him."

"Oh, come on! Are you serious?" Rachel exclaimed before she the others motioned for her to keep it down. So, she calmed herself down and spoke calmly. "Are you telling me that even after Padme's love brought Anakin back from the darkness that isn't enough to convince them to get rid of that rule?"

"While that is true it still doesn't change how due to Anakin's lack of unable to let go of his attachments led to the darkness within him to grow," said Barriss as she once again explains the problem of the attachment rule staying or going. "Master Kenobi made the same argument you did Rachel, but Master Windu brought up what I just said as well."

Lux sighed as he realized what is going on now. "Because both sides have strong arguments about this then that is why they won't rule on changing the rules," he sighed in annoyance figuring that is it. "Its like the policies that many members of the Senate have been trying to pass. One wants to sent money to one area and the other wants to send it to the other."

"Exactly," said Ahsoka as she turns to Jake and appeared sad. "I'm sorry, but until the rule changes we won't be able to publicly come out that we're dating."

Jake sighed figuring as much as he took a sip of his drink. "Its okay. Maybe if we show them how wrong they are about the attachments and get some Jedi on our side we can change their minds."

"I find that is going to be very difficult," said Rick figuring that won't be as easy as his friend is making it sound. "Not unless you can help show how love can help Anakin get completely reformed, especially since he is still locked up, right? Because they still don't trust him after what he…"

Rachel elbows Rick in the shoulder trying to shut him up about Anakin being locked up. Rick realized what he just said and looks away from Ahsoka regretting his words.

"S-sorry I didn't mean it that way," said Rick as he apologizes to Ahsoka.

Ahsoka shook her head in response. "Its okay. I know the Council are not completely ready to trust Anakin again. In fact, even Anakin doesn't trust himself. Obi Wan and I have gone down to see him despite him not wanting to see us. But we have and we have tried to get him to try seeking help so he can recover…but he refuses."

"I can't blame him," said Lux who understood Anakin's reason for keeping himself locked up. "To lose someone who raised you as a baby, to have visions of her suffering, to feel what she is feeling, and to have her die in your arms…I'm not going to lie I know the feeling all too well."

The others knew Lux is right and knew if any of them lost the other then there is no telling what would happen. Ahsoka though still wanted to try helping her master and help him feel better but she didn't know how.

Jake leans in close to Ahsoka and gave her a small kiss before placing his hand on her hand. "I know you want to help him, and I know you want him to recover but we need to give him a reason to get better. He wasn't just turned evil, he was tortured, he was mentally scarred, and he is in vulnerable. That's why I think he needs a reason to want to recover from what he went through and come back to the light."

Ahsoka knew Jake is right. If they want Anakin to feel better, then they need to give him a reason to want to get better. A reason to want to get out of his cell, a reason to overcome his guilt, and come back to them. It was then she realized what that reason can be.

"I have an idea of how we give him a reason to come back to the light," Ahsoka then gives Jake a small kiss before she gets out of the booth. "I'll talk to you guys later and thanks!"

Once she was gone the others turn to Jake looking confused. "Got any idea what she's talking about?" Lux asked.

Jake shrugs his shoulders. "No, but I'm sure whatever it is might work."

"One can only hope," said Barriss who doubts whatever Ahsoka has plan will work, but if it does then she can only hope it will help convince the Council to change the rules.

Jedi Temple

Meanwhile, Obi-Wan Kenobi is seen in the detention center in the southwest quarter of the Jedi Temple. It was used to house criminals, dangerous creatures, or even members who need some isolation. It was updated though to hold even more dangerous criminals or those that need to be held for an indefinite amount of time. Like the one, Obi-Wan went to speak to…Anakin Skywalker.

Ever since Anakin was freed from Damien's control and the influence of the Cerberus power, the Jedi had kept him locked in his cell. Not because they had to, although they still needed to be sure he was no longer being controlled. But mostly on the request of Anakin who wanted to be locked up in a secured cell. Out of fear he will end up hurting someone and kill them.

So, for months, Anakin has been kept in his cell and has been guarded by the Temple Guards. He was treated fairly while he was locked up and the Council made sure no harm came to him.

From time to time, Obi-Wan, Ahsoka, and Maser Yoda would come by to speak with Anakin. To see how he is doing and to keep him company. Anakin had requested no visitors, but the Council believes he needs all the interact he can get in order to feel better.

Although, Obi-Wan has been spending more time with Anakin more since Ahsoka has been off on more missions than him. Obi-Wan would keep Anakin updated on everything that is happening. From the fact the Republic is winning the war, the Power Rangers are helping restore order, the Council is pulling the Jedi from the war, to how Ahsoka is doing, and to how Anakin's family is doing.

"Master Yoda came by yesterday to inform me that Ahsoka was successful on her mission on Christophsis," said Anakin as he plays some chess with his former mentor to help pass the time. He wasn't a big fan of the game but since his time in his cell…he grew to enjoy it. "Is that true?"

Obi-Wan nods in response as he waits for Anakin to finish his move. He looks up at his former apprentice to see he let his hair grow a little long, he has a bit of facial hair, but they made sure to keep him cleaned. Although, he refused to cut his hair. But Obi-Wan is still happy to see he's okay.

"Both her and Barriss managed to retake the city with minimal losses. They also did it in less time than how long it took us to take the planet from the Separatist," Obi-Wan replied as he focuses on what his move will be.

Anakin lets out a small chuckle before he made his move. Anakin was happy to hear Ahsoka is doing well and she managed to take back the planet. The very same planet he first met her and how he grew to accept her as his apprentice. Despite not wanting to be a mentor in the first place.

"To be fair, we did have to deal with a traitor among our ranks and Ventress," said Anakin as he waits now for Obi-Wan to make his move. "I also still believe you were in on the Council sending Ahsoka to be my apprentice."

Obi-Wan smiled a little knowing he was aware Anakin would get an apprentice, but he didn't expect Ahsoka to show up during the battle. "I didn't hear you complaining after your first mission together."

Anakin knew this much was true. At first, yes, he wasn't happy to be given his own apprentice. However, that all changed after they destroyed the Separatist shield generator. After that, he decided to give Ahsoka a chance as his apprentice.

"I assume you'll be giving her an apprentice soon?" Anakin asked figuring it wouldn't take long for the Council to give her a student too like they did with him. "Or do you believe her job as a Ranger will keep her too busy to have one?"

Obi-Wan knew Master Shaak Ti was discussing about this with Master Secura, after she had become a member of the Council. They believed Ahsoka has come far since becoming a knight and has proven she is ready to pass on her knowledge to a young apprentice.

However, Obi-Wan knew her job as Power Ranger will be tricky since only the Council knew of her secret. Not to mention they didn't want to give her an apprentice while she is still in active duty in the war. So, if she is given a Padawan it would have to be when they believe the war is near its end. That way Ahsoka won't have to balance her job as a mentor, general, and as a Ranger.

"We have some ideas of who could be her apprentice, but for right now we will wait until the war is near its end," said Obi-Wan as he makes his move and now waits for Anakin to make his. "I assume you've heard about the news?"

Anakin nods as he focuses on moving one of his pieces. "That the Council is considering changing the rules about attachment and how they are considering allowing marriage as well…a little late don't you think?"

Obi-Wan knew this is true as he leans back against his seat. "It may be a little late, but after what happened the Council is beginning to believe the rule may be doing more harm than good. There is still some dangers when it comes to forming attachment, but after Padme help bring you back from the darkness they are starting to doubt the code."

Anakin made his move and soon looks up at his former mentor. "Speaking of Padme…how is she?"

Obi-Wan looks up at his friend and smiles a little as he looks down at his chess pieces. "The doctor told us Padme is coming along and the babies are doing good. No infections, no complications, and the doctor believes they will be born healthy."

"T-that's good to hear," Anakin replied who is happy to know his wife and their babies are doing all right. All while they play without the ray shields up, since Obi-Wan knew they didn't need it. "Who else knows about her pregnancy? No one else outside our group knows…right?"

Obi-Wan nods in response as he strokes his beard while thinking of his next move. "Other than our friends, the only other people who knows about the pregnancy is the Council and Padme's family. She had considered telling the queen, but she needs to be sure no leaks will leak out."

Anakin is relief to know that no one outside their group knows Padme is pregnant. He knows Padme is close to the queen of Naboo, but they have to make sure only she knows and no one else. They can't risk anyone, not even the royal guards know about this. If their enemies find out Padme is pregnant with his children, then they will be put in danger.

"I promise you though I will make sure they stay safe," said Obi-Wan to reassure his friend he will keep Padme and the babies safe. "Zane plans to have some of his robots keep Padme safe, I will pay her a visit once every few days, and Alexis volunteered her bodyguard to keep an eye on her until the babies are born."

Anakin sighed softly when Obi-Wan mentioned Alexis's bodyguard knowing who it is. "I still don't know how you and the others can trust her. After all the things she has done."

Obi-Wan understood Anakin's concerns, but he knew she deserved a chance at redemption. "She proved herself when she risked her life to protect Alexis, Numa, and Padme. She has shown she is no longer loyal to Dooku after what he did to her and deserves a second chance," he soon makes his move as he moves one of his chess pieces before looking up at his friend. "Just like I know you deserve a second chance as well."

Anakin was about to move his piece when Obi-Wan brought up him being given a second chance. Anakin moves his hand back and then looks up at his former mentor before leaning back against his seat.

"Obi-Wan…I told you and Ahsoka this before. There is no redeeming what I did," Anakin knew for months Ahsoka, Obi Wan, and the Council have been trying to help him recover from what happened, but he knew it was pointless. "I broke the rules, I murdered out of anger, and I helped kill innocent lives while I was controlled by Damien. I know you all have told me the evil within me is gone, but its not. I can still feel it deep inside of me. Waiting to come back and ready to destroy everything I love."

"And yet it was love that brought you back from the darkness," said Obi-Wan bringing up how Padme's love saved Anakin. "I know what you did was against everything the Jedi believed in and you afraid it will happen again. However, I have also seen how the love you and Padme have helped bring you back from the darkness. It not only saved you, but it showed the Council how it can help those who seem too far gone that they can come back."

Anakin sighed as he shook his head. "I appreciate what you are trying to do and believe me, nothing would make me happier than to be given a second chance. But you saw how dangerous I am. You saw how much harm I caused while I was being controlled. Now imagine what would happen if I turned to the Dark Side out of my own free will."

Anakin knows that if enemies find out about his vulnerability and his weaknesses then there is a good chance, they will use them against him. To the point he would reach his breaking point and then turn to the Dark Side. If he did, he would become too dangerous for the galaxy and all those who care about him. That is something he cannot risk no matter how much he wants to be with his family.

"I know you all want me to come back and you want me to be given a second chance, but if I end up turning again then there is no guarantee I will come back," said Anakin as he sees their time is up and sighed as he stood up. "I thank you for all you have done, and I appreciate you looking out for Padme, but please…respect my wishes and let me stay here. For everyone's sake."

Soon Anakin walks back to his cell while Obi-Wan watches on as the ray shield activates. Soon the Temple Guards walked back into the room and stood by the cell. Obi-Wan grabs his things and puts them away before he begins to leave. He takes one last look at his friend and knows Anakin still needs time to recover.

He knows what Anakin said is true. He knows Anakin if he turned to the Dark Side, he would pose to be a dangerous threat. One that could end up destroying the Jedi Order. But, Obi-Wan knows Anakin still deserves a chance to redeem himself and prove himself wrong.

He knows Anakin deserves that chance and he hope he can find a way to help him get better. For now, though, he'll have to be patient and buy his time. At least, until Ahsoka or the others find a way to motivate him to get better. So that way he can come back to the light and so he can be with his family.

Meanwhile

King Ronin and his daughter made their way back to their apartment so she can go over everything that was discussed today. Alexis had a meeting with some of the other senators who she had aligned with to find a way to remove Palpatine. However, thanks to the popularity of the chancellor they knew there is nothing they can do to remove him from power. So, they spent some time trying to find ways to keep him from gaining more power.

Alexis is worried that the more power the chancellor will get, the less powerful the senate will be. She knows if the senate loses complete power then what will stop the chancellor from getting rid of the senate and declare himself emperor. She knows Padme has reassured her the chancellor wouldn't do something like that. But she didn't trust him and she knew he is the type of politician who would do whatever it takes for power.

The meeting they had didn't go well and they knew they would have to wait until they can find a way to stop the chancellor from gaining more power.

"I should have pushed the senate before the old man changed his mind on the Power Rangers," said Alexis as she sighed to herself before she finished folding her scarf. "If I had done that then we would have removed him from office."

"I'm afraid if you did that it wouldn't have worked," said King Ronin as he comes out from the kitchen with some tea. "The chancellor was still popular among the people. If we tried removing him then he could say Almora was trying to take over the Republic. And unfortunately, due to how much the people look up to him they would believe everything he tells them. Just like when he told them the Jedi caused the war and look what happened."

Alexis sits down as she takes the tea her father made for her before she sits down on the sofa. She knew her father is right. The people look up to Palpatine and believe him to be a good man. That he isn't like the corrupted politicians, that what he says is true, and how he is a hero to them.

King Ronin walks over to his daughter and place his hand on her shoulder. "Remember this, Alexis. The greatest threat to the people isn't an army or weapons. It's the politicians who have the power over the army and weapons. The same politicians who have the power over their people and can help those who have money to give it to them to remain in power."

The king knew this to be true. He knew politicians are a bigger threat to the people than any war. They can lie about anything, they can manipulate the people, they can take money out of programs that help the people to give to their rich donors and can use their power to try destroying their enemies who stand up against them.

"That is why if you want to remove Palpatine from power then you need to get the people on your side," said King Ronin as he takes a sip of his drink.

Alexis knew her father is right. She knew if she is going to get the chancellor removed from power then she needs the people to help her.

"Then I suppose I should begin working on doing that then," said Alexis figuring out ways of how she can help gain the trust of the people.

"Well, you already did that with our own people," said King Ronin as he sits down next to his daughter. "Even before you became a senator and a Power Ranger you were already helping our people. I remember you going out volunteering to help the elderly, help children who are struggling with education, and you even help make several programs that helped our people who couldn't afford certain things like medicine, food, and a home."

"Well, to be fair I did have help when I did all those things," said Alexis who knew she couldn't have done it all without her friends.

"Exactly," said King Ronin as he begins took his daughter's hand and continued. "You have such a great talent when it comes to inspiring our people to work together and help others. You have proven time and time again that you are a great leader. Something I'm sure your mother would be proud of if she was still here. And I know you will continue to help not just our people but the people of this galaxy."

Alexis didn't mind her father compliments, but she had a feeling he was going somewhere with all of this. "Um father, is everything okay? What's going on?"

King Ronin chuckled a little since he figured his daughter would have figured out what he is up to something. He stood up and walks over to the balcony before he gets to what he wants to say.

"For a long time now, I have thought about stepping down as king. I didn't want to but I knew with everything that has happened that I knew I wouldn't be able to protect our people forever," said King Ronin as he closed his eyes and thinks back of his failures as king. "From letting pirates attack our world, which led to your brother dying, to the Separatist attacks not once, not twice, but three times. To not seeing Tiberous was going to betray us and to Damien attacking our world…I have failed to protect our home and I have failed as king."

Alexis stood up from her sofa and walks over to her father to try reassuring him he didn't fail. "None of that was your fault. You couldn't have known any of this was going to happen."

The king smiled at his daughter and shook his head in response. "Even so, as king I should have been able to do more. I should have also done more to see the path your brother was following, and I could have done more to help him. If I had then he wouldn't be locked up in jail and I would have stepped down sooner so he would have been king. But since that is no longer an option, I am left with only one other option..."

It was then Alexis realized what that option is and stares at her father a little worried on his response. "Dad wait a minute. You don't mean…"

The king turns to his daughter and placed his right hand on her shoulder. "Alexis, when I retire, I want you to become the new ruler of Almora."

Meanwhile

In an unknown location, lies a large laboratory facility filled with multiple computers, large containers filled with green water, and multiple drones that are seen flying around the room. In the facility there also appears to be different rooms with the doors opened. Each one shows what appears to be multiple mutilated and mutant bodies of different alien creatures. With drones going in and out to scan the bodies before moving on.

In one of the rooms there is a Faust alien wearing a lab coat, a hazmat suit, a glass helmet, and goggles. He appears to be working on dissecting an arm. As he works on his experiment one of the drones begins to flash. It flies over to the doctor and a hologram of a dark figure wearing a cloak appeared from the drone.

The Faust doctor took notice of this and turns to the hologram. "Ah, master Sidious. It is good to see you. What can I do for you today?"

The figure now revealed to be Darth Sidious begins to speak with the doctor. "Dr. Nuevo Vindi, how goes the experiments I requested?"

The Faust doctor is soon revealed to be Dr. Nuevo Vindi. A former scientist who worked for the Separatist, until he was captured and arrested by the Republic. He was broken free by Damien until he was once again captured and arrested. However, this time he has been set free by the chancellor himself or rather Darth Sidious so he can work for him and his new partner.

"Yes, my master," said Dr. Vindi as he snaps his fingers and one of his drones flies down near him to show the hologram of three containers with monstrous creatures inside. "It took some trials and error, but I managed to finally create three new creatures. Unfortunately, they will not be as strong as the first one I created."

"With my help of course," said a woman's voice echoing around the room. Soon a pair of red eyes appeared in the darkness of the ceiling before long spider legs emerged as the figure descends to the floor. "Good evening, Darth Sidious. I saw your little speech earlier. I bet it was nauseating to praise the Power Rangers and all the good they have done."

Darth Sidious begins to chuckle evilly as he sees his partner has arrived. "That it was, General Arachnia. However, we both know sooner or later their usefulness will come to an end."

The figure now revealed to be General Arachnia, former follower of Damien. Until she betrayed him and help Darth Sidious destroy him.

"I assume since you are here that means the time has come?" General Arachnia asked as her claws begin to sharpen.

"Yes…it is time," said Darth Sidious as he gives Arachnia the answer she wanted. "Thanks to the Power Rangers, the war is nearing its end. I cannot allow the war to end this soon. Not until I weaken the Jedi Order and I find a new apprentice."

General Arachnia giggled evilly as she walks over to the table where Vindi is at. "Don't worry, we'll take care of the apprentice part. Thanks to the good doctor we managed to come up with an idea to take care of that problem. As for the Jedi…once our pet has finished with the Rangers then we will use him to destroy the Jedi."

"As tempting as it is to finish them off…I have something even better in mind," said Darth Sidious knowing he can still use the monster to weaken their numbers at least. "Now then, is it ready, Dr. Vindi?"

Dr. Vindi clears his throat and presses a button on his wrist gauntlet to show a large container as it begins moving. "Just tell me where to send it and it will be unleashed."

Darth Sidious already has a planet in mind on where to send the creature. "Send it to… Christophsis."

That's the end of the chapter and it looks like Darth Sidious is up to something. This isn't good for our heroes and it looks like Dr. Vindi has been keeping busy. This is what happens when you put a mad scientist like him with a crazed monster like Arachnia. Now then, for those who don't know how she looks think of her like Airachnid from Transformers Prime.

So, a bit close to it, except she doesn't have an army of insect robots by her side. Anyways, it also looks like the king is planning to pass on his crown to his daughter. How do you think Alexis will do as queen? And who will take over her duties as senator?

Also, it looks like Anakin is still struggling with what happened. Think whatever Ahsoka is planning will help him? Think he can be redeemed? Or think he should remain locked up?

Tune in next time to find out and thanks for the support guys and I appreciate the reviews. Please be patient for the next chapter and if you all liked this then please leave some reviews. Just no flame reviews please. Take care everyone, be safe, and see you all next time.
