Here we go with chapter three (Chapter 80) of season two. I hope everyone is ready for this chapter and are ready for what is going to happen. I am happy that the sequel is going well. More people are enjoying how this is going and are having a good time.

Now, this chapter is going to be a little longer than the last two. That's mostly because we are getting to the first big action of the season. But first, a little recap of what happened last time. So, last time we saw the Rangers spending some time together and having a little relaxation. All while, Obi-Wan is trying to help Anakin overcome the fear of becoming evil again.

What will happen today? What can we expect from the first big fight? Will the Rangers be ready for whatever Palpatine and Arachnia are up to? And will they be able to overcome it together?

New Foe

Endor

Out in the Outer Rim in the Moddell Sector in the Endor system lies Endor. A small forested moon that orbits the planet with the same name. Unlike the moon though, the main planet also called Tana, has no life on it. It is a gas giant, which means it has no oceans, lakes, no solid surface, and no native species.

Endor though is full of forests, mountains, and savannas. It is home to different species that all exist across the planet. Unlike the planet of Tana, Endor is full of life. The Dulok, the Gorax, the Wistie, the Yuzzum, and the Ekows.

Before and even during the Clone Wars, Endor has remained peaceful and safe. No Sith forces have come around the moon and no Separatist ships have come by to set up a secret base of command. This may be since the moon holds no strategic advantages for anyone to use. Even if other creatures did try to come to Endor to hunt down the native species, they would be protect by a secret guardian, Zane.

Zane came to the moon thousands of years ago after he defeated Damien and brought him to this universe. After sealing him away, Zane made a new Command Center on the moon. Hidden underneath the moon to keep anyone from finding it. Zane had made peace with the inhabitants and even made sure they were peaceful to one another.

Inside the Command Center, Zane walked down the hallway carrying with him a cup of tea. He wore his white robe, but he didn't have his staff with him. He walks towards a door and begins to open it. He walks inside and looks to see his daughter, Serenity, still sealed away in her chamber.

Zane sets his cup of tea down on a nearby table and walks over to the chamber. He pressed a button on the side of the chamber causing a virtual keyboard to appear near him. He begins pressing on the keyboard causing a holographic image of his daughter to appear in front of him. Typing on the keyboard he begins scanning his daughter to see how she is doing.

It almost feels like yesterday that he had placed his daughter in this chamber to save her life after she was exposed to a virus. It was made by his former friend and brother, Damien. In order not only to kill her, but to shatter Zane's will to keep on fighting against Damien. That all changed though when Damien revealed the virus was never meant to kill her, but someone changed it to make it lethal.

Damien provided a cure for Zane, which he took after defeating his former friend. Zane's allies warned him against using the cure since they felt it was a trick. But no matter how evil Damien had become…he still loved Serenity. Zane knew Damien would never harm his godchild and would want her safe.

It has been three months since Zane began using the cure and since then it began to work. The virus was completely gone, and he knew it won't be long until he finally could hold his child again in his arms. However, Zane had to wait a little longer. He needed to finish making a serum that would help her body recover completely after being sealed away for so long.

Zane placed his right hand on the chamber and smiled a little. "Just a little longer and then…and then you'll finally be awake," Zane felt a little emotional knowing he couldn't wait to hug his daughter again. "I can't wait to hug you, I can't wait to kiss you, and I can't wait to introduce you to everyone. I know Alpha has been looking forward to you waking up and has been getting your room ready."

"I had some help," Zane turned around and sees Alpha walking in covered in paint. "Rachel helped me pick out the right kind of paint, furniture, and clothing for Serenity. I just hope she'll appreciate it."

Zane chuckled softly as he took out a cloth and begins helping clean his friend up. "I'm sure she'll just be happy to see you again, Alpha. Regardless of how the room will look like."

Alpha knew this much to be true. Serenity is such a sweet girl who always looked out for everyone and would do all she can to help them. She even helped fix Alpha if he got damaged or needed help fixing something. He couldn't wait for her to wake up and couldn't wait to show her the universe they are in.

"Oh, by the way. I am nearly done with the serum. I just need another week to finish it up and then once we administer it in her then it will take up to three days before her body is ready," Alpha explained.

Zane is happy to hear that. "And hopefully by then the drones will have finished scanning the entire galaxy so we can find out where Damien is hiding out on."

Zane turns towards his daughter again before placing his hand on the chamber. Alpha took the rag that was used to clean himself up and puts it away before going to his friend.

"It has been three months. Do you believe he's still out there?" Alpha knew Damien is likely in hiding to regain his strength and making new plans, but it wouldn't take him this long to recover.

"I know he's still out there. I'm not sure if he's plotting his revenge or not since he doesn't have that many allies left," Zane knows that Damien still has Mother Talzin and Astronema. "I don't know how many monsters he has left, but we can only assume with General Arachnia no longer on his side he doesn't have any monsters left."

"Well, if he does return then we'll be ready for him," said Alpha who didn't seem concerned of what they will encounter. "And besides, the Rangers have all come a long way since they became a team. They have become stronger, they have been able to keep the peace, and have given hope to the people. No matter what comes their way they will overcome it together."

Zane wanted to believe that, but he knew it would be foolish to believe that. "The past Rangers were the same as the others. Yet when a new villain came into power, things always go badly."

Alpha knew this much was true. It happened with the original team and it has happened more after that. "What do you suggest we do?"

Zane knew Damien's defeat has spread like wildfire. It will cause a new force of evil to rise in the galaxy and he didn't doubt it will be his mysterious partner that will take over. Zane knows for a long time that this mysterious Sith Lord, who has been training Dooku is still out there. Pulling the strings without them knowing about it.

That's why he allowed the Rangers to get involved to help end this war soon. All while he focused his attention on finding this Sith Lord and put an end to this war. However, he hasn't been able to find out much. He knows the only way they'll know who is behind this is if they can capture Count Dooku.

"Alpha, prepare to contact Obi-Wan. I want to ask him about…" suddenly the alarm begins going off. "What's going on?"

Alpha begins accessing to the computer systems to find out what's causing the alarms to go off. "Damien's robots are seen on the planet of Christophsis. They're attacking the Republic base."

Looks like Zane's theory of a new threat rising was wrong. "Contact the others and send them to the planet. I'll make sure the Zords are ready for combat. Hopefully this time of peace hasn't gotten them rusty."

"No way," said Alpha who knew better than to make sure the Zords got lazy. "I've been keeping them busy. And I bet they'll be looking forward to some combat again."

Zane nods in agreement, but at the same time he couldn't shake this feeling something didn't feel right. He would have figured Damien's return would have been on a grander scale. Why attack Christophsis? Is he once again allies with Dooku and he is helping him take back the planet?

Or is there something else he isn't seeing?

Coruscant

In the Jedi Temple, Obi-Wan is seen walking down the temple halls deciding to use this time he has to himself to think. He had finished speaking with Anakin and tried to get him to accept the help he is offering. The help to speak with someone to help him overcome his guilt, his issues, and help him recover. So, he can not only return to the Jedi, but also return to Padme. But once more, it didn't work.

Obi-Wan though isn't going to give up on his friend. Not until he can find a way to get him to accept the help. He knows Ahsoka and the others are working on finding a way to get him back, But, it hasn't been easy.

Obi-Wan had thought about getting Padme into the temple to speak with Anakin. However, he knows if their enemies find out Padme is pregnant with Anakin's children then she would be put in danger. He knows Damien is still out there and knows if he gets to the children or even Dooku then they can be turned to the Dark Side. Something he doesn't want to happen to the children.

The Force is incredibly strong with Anakin. It has not only made him powerful but has helped him do things that Obi-Wan and many of the Jedi can't seem to do. So, in theory it was possible if any child he has was born with his bloodline, then they too would be strong with the Force. Maybe even more powerful than Anakin.

That's why he must keep Padme and the children safe. He had requested to take time off to go with Padme back to Naboo and keep an eye on her. Make sure she'll be safe and nothing bad will happen. Once the children are born, he'll have to extend his time away from the Jedi Order to protect them.

The Council had suggested to bring the children to the Jedi Temple. But Obi-Wan knows Padme will never go along with it. She'll want to keep the children safe. No matter what.

"Master?" Obi-Wan snapped out of his thoughts and turns to see Ahsoka walking towards him. "Sorry to disturb you, but I wanted to talk to you. Is this a bad time?"

Obi-Wan shook his head in response. "Not at all. I was actually going to see you when you got back. How did things go with the others?"

"It went well. We all celebrate our victory together and had a good time," said Ahsoka as the two Jedi walk down the hallway. "By the way, how did it go with Anakin? How is he?"

"He's…progressing," Obi-Wan replied knowing that's the best he can come up with. "But he's still refusing to accept any help to come back to the Jedi. He wants to remain lock up and make sure he won't be let out."

Ahsoka sighed. "I had hoped these talks would help him feel better. I would think he would want to be free to see his wife and children when they are born."

"Fear still grips him I'm afraid," said Obi-Wan knowing Anakin saw everything he did when he was being controlled by Damien. "He's afraid he'll be manipulated again. He's afraid the darkness within him will come back. He's afraid if he loses it, he'll end up hurting everyone he loves. Fear is a powerful weapon our enemies can use against us if we're not careful."

"But hope and love can also help overcome fear too," said Ahsoka who figured after what happened to save Anakin it would help prove the fears Jedi had about attachments is wrong. "Yes, if we lose someone, we love it can put us in a vulnerable and angry position. But, with those we love and care about to be there with us, we can overcome it all together."

Obi-Wan nods in agreement. "I know that, and Padme was able to prove that. However, I believe Anakin just needs time before he is ready to open up. That's why we need to keep talking to him and keep trying to help him."

"Then let's try something new," said Ahsoka as she took Obi-Wan to a secured room. "Anakin has kept himself locked up because he's afraid he'll hurt everyone, right? Well, I was thinking, we need to help him overcome that fear and become motivated. Help give him a reason to want to get better and not let the fear of becoming consumed by the darkness overtake him again."

"And I assume that involves Padme?" Obi-Wan asked as he sees the surprised look on Ahsoka's face. "The thing is, Padme had suggested this to me last week. She thought if she talked to Anakin about their future, their children, and how they can be a family it would motivate him. She tried it before, and it appeared to work before Anakin's fear of hurting his family got the better of him."

"I see," Ahsoka thought this plan would work, but luckily for her she had a backup. "Well, what if its not just Padme that can give him a reason to want to get better. We can get everyone who loves and support him to help him feel better? I remember Rick telling me how when he got sick, he couldn't go near anyone and had to stay in bed. So, everyone made a recording of themselves trying to cheer him up."

Obi-Wan sees where this is going and crossed his arms. "And you believe if we get everyone to leave a message for Anakin then it will help him?"

Ahsoka nods in response. "I think helping tell stories about the good he has done, how much we support him, and how much we want him to get better will help him. I think getting Padme involved can help too. After all, you did say it almost worked before, so why not try again?"

Obi-Wan begins thinking about this idea and feels this might work. Granted, it is risky since he isn't sure if this will work. He knows Anakin will most likely ignore the messages and keep hiding behind his fear. However, if he can get him to pay attention to all the messages and listen to what they are telling him.

"At this point, I'm willing to try anything," said Obi-Wan who agrees to go along with the plan. "However, if you are planning to get Padme involved then let Alexis know so she can contact her. All right?"

Ahsoka nods in agreement. "Don't want anyone finding out what we're up to. Thank you, ma…" suddenly the communicator the Rangers use begins going off. "What's going on, Alpha?"

"Ahsoka, Obi-Wan, Zane needs you both and the others. Its urgent," said Alpha as he speaks to Ahsoka through the communicator. "Damien's robots have appeared on Christophsis and are attacking the Republic base."

Ahsoka and Obi-Wan look on surprised that Damien has returned. They thought he was gone after not being seen or heard for three months. It looks like though he's back. And he's attacking the same planet Ahsoka worked with Barriss to liberate.

"We're on our way," said Ahsoka as she begins smiling towards the older Jedi. "Are you ready?"

Obi-Wan sighed softly as he shook his head. "Still not used to teleporting, but I knew what I was getting myself into when I took the job."

Soon, the two Jedi are teleported out of the Jedi Temple and head to Christophsis. With the others not far behind.

Meanwhile (a few minutes earlier)

Jake and Rachel returned to the apartment where they were confronted by Alexis and Nathan. Rick had decided to go out with Barriss and Lux to donate some clothing to some children. Jake and Rachel had planned to go, but their parents needed to talk to them. It sounded important, so they went to meet with their parents.

Jake and Rachel were concerned on what this was all about. They were hoping it wasn't anything serious.

Once they arrived the twins were told to go to the living room so they can tell them the news. King Ronin had left to speak with his advisors on the news he just told Alexis. While the kids are told the news themselves. Alexis wasn't sure how to tell the kids about this, since she knows this is going to change everything.

However, she needed to tell them the truth soon. So, with Numa standing by with Nathan, as Alexis finally tells the kids everything.

"As you both know, when your uncle Tiberous and I got older, our father told us one day one of us would end up ruling. Now, he didn't force us to choose and told us it would be up to us to decide who rules," Alexis began speaking to her kids as she started off slowly on what she is going to say. "Your uncle and I both agreed he was the better choice to rule. While we decided I would help the people, represent them, and become a politician. However, that all changed."

Jake and Rachel looked at each other knowing everything did change when their uncle turned on the people. Siding with Damien and tried to kill their family so he can rule over Yes, he did stop when he was told the truth on what happened to their uncle. However, it didn't change the fact the people found out the truth and he was locked up.

"So, I guess that means grandpa will have to wait until what? Jake or I are old enough to rule?" Rachel asked who was a little concerned about that. "Because, I'm going to tell you all right now. I'm not sure I'm ready to rule anything. I'm more interested in wanting to help represent our people like you mom. Become a politician and speak on their behalf."

Jake nods in agreement. "Yeah, me being king would also be something I wouldn't feel comfortable with. At least, until I decide what I want to do," which is to become a pilot one day.

"No, don't worry. Your grandfather isn't going to force any of you to rule. Remember, unlike other royal families, we don't force our own to do something they don't want to do," said Alexis knowing their family make their choice to rule if they want to or not.

If by some chance they cannot rule over the planet, then the king or queen can leave the kingdom in charge of their senators. Almora's government is democratic where the senators are chosen by the people who represent them from around the planet. Even from colonized planets nearby. The royal family has power, but they are still limited on what they can and cannot do.

Like for example, if they want to go to war, they would have to go through their senate to get them to agree. So, if the royal family don't have a ruler then the senate can take over until then. However, the senate have their limits too and can only serve two-terms up to four years. If they try abusing the power given to them by the royal family, they will be arrested and will be locked up.

That's why Jake and Rachel know if they don't decide to rule then they can pass the power on. However, at least their mother made it clear she won't force them to rule. But if not then, what is the news then?

"Your grandfather has decided that due to everything that has happened and everything our people have gone through that they need a new ruler. One that they can look up to, one that they still believe in, and one who will defend them no matter what…" Alexis took a deep breath and prepared to tell the kids the truth, until Rachel beat her to the punch.

"It's you!" Rachel stood up from her seat realizing where this is going. "Grandpa chose you to rule over Almora and you said yes!"

"Wait, what?" Jake stood up from his seat too and turned to his mom to confirm what Rachel said is true. And the look on his mom's face said it all. "Holy smoke, it is true. Mom, that's amazing! You're going to rule over Almora?"

Alexis tried to calm the situation down and tell her kids in a calm manner, but Nathan walked over and speaks up. "Not at first. She was shocked at first, then tried to convince your grandfather to remain in charge until she is ready, and then tried to have me become the ruler instead."

"But daddy said no because he's not…eligible?" Numa asked her father to see if what she said is right.

Nathan nods in response. "I may be married to your mother, but the senate would not approve me being king unless Alexis accepts, and something happens to her."

Jake turns to his mother and approached her. "B-but you did accept, right?"

Alexis sighed as she walks away and looks out the window to the city. "Ever since your uncle was locked up, I always knew your grandfather would come to me with this. That's why I'm glad he gave me so much time to prepare for this and figure out if I should rule or not," she then turns to her family and gave a small smile. "I almost said no, because I felt I would never be as great a ruler as your grandfather or would be able to inspire our people to fight against our enemies like Tiberous. But I also know, our people need a leader now more than ever. So…I did say yes."

Jake and Rachel walk over to their mother then embrace her for a hug. Nathan let's go of Numa's hand so she can run over and hug her mother too. Alexis returned the hug and is happy that her family is fully supportive of this. She really needed this, especially since she knows this isn't going to be easy.

"We're proud of you mom," said Jake who is happy that their mother is going to be queen. "And don't worry. We'll help you with anything you need."

Rachel nods in agreement. "He's right. Whatever you need, we'll give it."

Alexis is glad to hear that as the kids break the hug and she picks up Numa. "Well, I should first tell you I won't be crowned as queen until next month. Your grandfather is going to prepare the coronation, while I focus on putting together my own advisors, my own personal guards, and prepare my resignation to the Senate."

"How come?" Numa asked. "How come you have to pick your own advisors and guards?"

Nathan walks over to explain. "The ruler of Almora are given their own royal guards and advisors to help them during their time as king or queen. The royal guards stay with the ruler of Almora until their ruler steps down and they are either reassigned or in the case of your grandfather's guards they will retire."

"The royal guards for grandpa have been with him since he became king before mom was born," Jake continued explaining to Numa. "The same with the advisors. They have been with grandpa since he became ruler. Some do change over time, but many of them are as old as grandpa. SO, that's why when mom will take over, she'll need her own team."

"And pick her own senator," said Alexis knowing with their mom stepping down she'll need a new senator to represent the people in the Republic. "Did you have someone in mind?"

"I do have someone in mind, but only if they are willing and if they believe they are ready to represent our people," Alexis explained. "Our people will need a senator who will speak on their behalf. Someone brave, strong, and won't let other senators bully them around."

Rachel knew whoever they pick will need to be someone who can handle any kind of pressure like their mother did. "That's going to be a tough choice. But whoever you pick I wouldn't mind helping them. I have a lot of experience in the Senate thanks to my time going with you to watch you in these meetings, talking with your friends, and spending my time with Lux."

Alexis nods in agreement before she placed her right hand on Rachel. "And that is why I believe you would be the perfect choice to become senator."

Rachel's eyes widen before turning to her mother. "Mother said what now?"

Nathan chuckled softly as he repeats what his wife said. "Rachel, your mother believes you are the one to take her place as senator for Almora."

Rachel and Jake look surprised by the announcement from their parents. They thought the news their mother becoming queen was surprising, but this one…making Rachel a senator took the cake.

"I-I don't know what to say," Rachel didn't really know what to say.

Was she happy? Yes, she is. Was she scared? Oh yeah, she is. Rachel knew becoming senator is a very important job. One that comes with a lot of responsibilities and one where she will speak on behalf of her people.

Before she can even respond even more about this or even think about what she'll do. The communicator of the Power Rangers begins going off.

"What's up, Alpha?" Nathan asked as they are told by Alpha there is an attack on Christophsis. The others have been informed and are on their way. "Understood, we'll be there as soon as possible."

Nathan leans down to kiss Numa on the head before kissing his wife on the lips. "We'll be right back."

Alexis nods in response before turning to the kids as she goes to them to give them both a hug. "Be careful you two and don't do anything reckless."

Both kids snapped out of what happened and began focusing on the task at hand. "We will mom," said Jake promising to be careful.

Both twins give their sister a big hug before they prepare to teleport. Before they go, Alexis wanted to say one more thing.

"And Rachel…you don't need to decide on this right now. You take as much time as you need and if you decide not to accept the job. I will understand," said Alexis not wanting her daughter to go off fighting while thinking about this big decision. "I will support whatever decision you make, and I love you."

Rachel felt a little sigh of relief that her mother isn't expecting her answer right away. This means she'll have a chance to decide what she wants to do once this is over.

"I love you too, mom," said Rachel as all three Rangers soon teleported out of the apartment, off-world, and head towards Christophsis.

Christophsis

In the capital city of Chaleydonia, the citizens are seeing running away as the Clone Soldiers are trying to defend them against Damien's robots. The robots appeared humanoid with their faces looking demonic. The robots charge at the Clones, who were told how to take them down. They begin focusing their attacks on the heads of the robots and begin taking a few of them down.

However, there were too many and the Clones begin falling back. Trying to take cover as they call in the heavy artillery to help them hold back the enemy. They even begin using their Gunships to help evacuate the citizens towards the Republic base. As it is the only safe place left to hide.

Three children though get separated from their parents and run down an abandoned building, but they are soon cornered by the robots. The robots begin circling the children as the oldest grabs a pipe and tries to act brave. All while his younger sisters hid behind him. The robots prepare to attack when they hear someone behind them.

"Hey!" the robots turn around to see Jake, Barriss, Rick, Rachel, Lux, and Ahsoka all standing behind them. "You guys want a fight? Well, you got one. Let's do it guys. It's Morphin Time!"

"Mastodon!" Lux called out as he transformed into the Black Ranger.

"Pterodactyl!" Rachel called out as she transformed into the Pink Ranger.

"Triceratops!" Rick called out as he transformed into the Blue Ranger

"Sabretooth-Tiger!" Barriss called out as she transformed into the Yellow Ranger.

"Tyrannosaurus!" Jake called out as he transformed into the Red Ranger.

"Tigerzord!" Ahsoka called out as she transformed into the White Ranger.

Soon all six Power Rangers stood before Damien's robots as they got into a fighting stance. The robots all charged at the Rangers, while the kids took cover. The Rangers charge at the robots and kicked them away as they go after each of them. All while working together as a team.

Jake runs over and kicks the two robots in the chest knocking them towards a wall before he lands on his feet. He ducks down and Ahsoka runs up on his back before she slashes both the heads off the robots with ease. More charged at them as Jake summoned his Power Sword and charges at the robots. Ahsoka uses the Force to cause the robots to stumble forward, allowing Jake to easily cut them down before throwing his sword at Ahsoka.

Ahsoka catches the sword and with her own slashes down the robots that were coming at her from behind.

Rick worked with Barriss to block the attacks from the robots, while she attacks. He could block their punches and kicks, allowing Barriss an opening to punch both robots away. The two then take out their blasters and opened fire taking both the heads off the robots destroying them.

More begin charging at them, but Rick saw a chance to finish them off. He informs Barriss of the plan and she nods in response. Barriss summons her Power Daggers and charges at the robots, while Rick aims his blaster at a loose power cable. Barriss throws her daggers at the sprinklers above the robots before she leaps back away from the water.

Rick opens fire causing the power cable to come off and fall on the water as it begins electrocuting the robots and destroys them.

Rachel fired a cable at both robots as she slides between one of them before throwing the cable to Lux. Lux caught it, ducks a punch from one of the robots and then wraps the cable around it before tossing the cable back to Rachel. Rachel and Lux continued doing this until they tied the robots up then pulled the cable causing the robots to fall to the ground.

The last of the robots opened fire at them, but Lux began blocking the attacks with his Power Axe. Lux kept deflecting the attacks allowing Rachel to use her helmet to calculate her arrow shot. She takes aim and fires her arrow at a nearby metal wall causing it bounce of it. It bounces off one more metal wall and pierces through the side of the heads of the robots taking them all down.

Once the last of the robots were destroyed, the Rangers retracted their weapons and look for the children. Unaware three of the robots emerged from the ceiling preparing to attack then. The children, who hid nearby saw this and began pushing a pillar together. It fell on the robots destroying them and saving the Rangers.

The Rangers noticed this and see the kids all together when they saw they were spotted. Lux goes over to the kids and thanks them.

"That was very brave of you three. Thank you," said Lux as the kids look on in awe at the Rangers.

Until they heard the explosions going on outside and see a group of Clones heading their way.

"The Power Rangers? We're glad to see you're here," said one of the Clones, who appears to be a commander.

Barriss and Ahsoka didn't say anything since they didn't want their voices to be recognized by the Clones. So, Rachel spoke up for them.

"We're glad to be here trooper. How many of Damien's robots are left? And did you see any of his monsters?" she asked figuring an attack like this will lead to a monster attack soon.

"Nothing yet. But there's still plenty of those tincans still out there," said the Clone commander.

"Then we'll take care of it," said Jake as he turns to the kids. "Please escort these children to safety and we'll take care of this."

The Clone commander nods and has his men get the children to safety. The Rangers took off and get ready to join in the fight. Knowing that Obi-Wan and Nathan are off somewhere else.

Meanwhile

The Clone soldiers outside are doing their best to hold off the enemy, while also protecting the citizens from Damien's robots. As they continue to try holding off the enemy, they see the robots taking control of one of their cannons. The robots begin turning it towards the citizens when the Green Ranger appeared slashing the cannon in half. Nathan then slashes the robots destroying them, while Obi-Wan appeared in his Silver Ranger form.

Obi-Wan summons two gold chains and uses them to wrap around three of the robots and begins swinging them. His swinging began hitting the robots around them before tossing them towards the rest. Obi-Wan and Nathan charge at the robots as they begin taking them down. Obi-Wan using his sword and Nathan uses his Dragon Dagger to help them destroy the robots.

The Clones used this chance to fall back and get the people to safety. All while the rest of the Rangers arrived. They begin working together to take down the robots as they turn the tide of the fight. Nathan works with his kids Jake and Rachel as they take down some of the robots.

All while Obi-Wan works with Ahsoka and Barriss to use the Force to push the robots away. Allowing them to use the Force to lift some of the robots up to crush them then toss them at the rest of the robots to destroy them. Rick and Lux meanwhile get on one of the Republic cannons. They begin charging it with their own powers before firing at the robots destroying the ones that tried to get passed them.

Together, all eight Rangers managed to destroy every last one of Damien's robots as they begin to regroup.

"Well, I have to say. That was easy," said Rick as he kicks around one of the heads of the robots.

"Too easy," said Obi-Wan who didn't like this. "I have a bad feeling about this."

"Are you sure? Maybe for once our luck is on our side," said Lux who figured everything is going their way.

Ahsoka shook her head in response. "No, Master Kenobi is right. I sense there is more going on. I just don't know what it is."

Barriss agreed with her friend and Obi-Wan. I suggest we head back then. We need to check with the Clones and see if everyone is okay."

"Obi-Wan and I will go," said Nathan figuring they don't all have to go in case more robots do show up. "In the meantime, keep an eye out. If anything happens then contact us."

The six Rangers nod in response as the two adults take off to check on the Clones and the civilians. Once they are gone, Barriss begins contacting Alpha.

"Alpha, can you and Zane see Damien's monster around?" she asked figuring this is the part where the monster shows up.

"Nothing yet," Alpha replied as he was looking through the Viewing Globe and couldn't see anything. "And it doesn't look like there are anymore of Damien's robots. Perhaps this is a distraction?"

"That's what I'm afraid of," said Barriss who felt this was some sort of distraction to keep them busy. "But what for? What could Damien be up to?"

"Well, whatever it is we'll be ready for it," said Rachel as she kept her guard up and begins examining the buildings. "Unless maybe he's just doing this to fuck around."

"This doesn't seem like Damien," said Lux who felt something about this feels off. "Even if it was a distraction, he would have sent a monster after us to keep us busy."

"If he has any monsters left. Unless maybe he used this time to make more of them," said Rick figuring that's what Damien has been doing.

Jake knew Lux is right. If Damien really wanted them distracted, then he would have sent a monster to a planet where they will be busy on. He also figures Rick might be on to something. If Damien was in hiding, then it might be to make more monsters.

"Either this attack was some sort of distraction or this was…" suddenly Jake's helmet begins alerting him of something nearby. The Rangers turn around and see a familiar face. "Arachnia."

The figure is revealed to be 7ft tall, dark purple metal skin, black/red armor on her chest/waist, black armor on her arms/legs, and behind her abdomen where the web comes out is a red spider symbol on the base. She appears with sharp claws, fangs, four glowing red eyes, and a dark helmet.

"Well, well. If it isn't the Power Rangers," said Arachnia as she used her spider legs to help her appear tall. "Its so good to see you all again. Did you miss me?"

The Power Rangers all summoned their weapons as they prepared to fight.

"Can't say we missed you at all," said Jake as the Rangers prepare to fight. "So, where's your master? Is he still hiding from us?"

Arachnia begins laughing manically, which left the Rangers confused. "My master? I serve no one, but myself," she then faked a gasp and shocked expression. "Oh my, you don't know, do you? You haven't heard the news?"

"What news? What are you talking about, crazy spider lady?" Rick replied clearly not in the mood for games with this monster.

Arachnia begins giggling evilly before she reveals everything. "Oh, just that none of you have to worry about Damien coming after you or the galaxy. Hell, this whole freaking galaxy doesn't have to worry about Damien ever returning," said Arachnia as small drones appeared, which began hacking into the holonet across the galaxy. "Because Damien, the *laughs* son of the Monarch of Evil is…DEAD!"

The Rangers all look on shocked with the news. The whole galaxy was also shocked by this news as well. Damien, the monster that has helped spread so much fear and destruction, is dead. He's really dead.

"And it was thanks to me and my new partner," said Arachnia before she turns to the Rangers. "And of course, you Rangers. I have you all to thank for not only weakening Damien but leaving him vulnerable for me to finally have him finished off."

The Rangers weren't sure if they should believe what Arachnia is saying and wanted to think she is lying to them. That this is some sort of trick by Damien to keep himself hidden until he returns. But then again, Damien's monsters always showed complete loyalty to him and wouldn't turn on him. Except Warrior and Hunter, but those were for different reasons.

"And I'm sure Zane doesn't believe me since he's so close to his best friend. But if he wants proof, go to Rhen Var. That's where his base of command was before my new pet destroyed it all," said Arachnia as she begins to giggle.

"New pet? What new pet?" Ahsoka asked wondering what this crazy monster is talking about.

"This one," Arachnia took out a whistle and blows on it causing a loud sonic sound to be heard. She soon stopped and a loud monstrous roar can be heard echoing across the city. "Say hello to my beast…Abomination. And have fun with him."

Arachnia soon teleported away as loud stomp noises can be heard echoing towards them. The Rangers all stood ready as the stomps kept getting closer and closer until it finally stopped. The Rangers seem confused by this wondering where it is. They all stood back to back figuring it will appear behind them or from around them.

It was then Barriss sensed something is wrong and moves away as she uses the Force to push her friends away. Suddenly the monster appeared from under the ground. Right where the Rangers were at. The monster soon swings its big hands at Barriss, but she managed to duck the swing and goes between its legs before she rejoins the others.

The rest of the team recovered and look over to see the large monster before them. It stood around 8ft tall, with long bull horns, a bulky body, long arms with sharp claws, standing on its hind legs, a long tail, long black wings, long black hair, and a monstrous look that the Rangers recognized.

"I-is that Torus and Vampira? Merged together?" Lux asked as he held his weapon tightly.

"E-either that or they had an ugly kid together," said Rachel as she got her weapon ready.

The monster roar loudly at the Rangers as it begins approaching them slowly. Jake, however, knew it doesn't matter what this monster is. They have to stop it before it hurts the innocent. Jake turns to Ahsoka, who nods at him knowing what they need to do.

"Guys, let's worry about what this is later. Right now? We need to stop it," said Jake as he tells his team what to do. "Lux and Rachel. Stay back and give us some cover. The rest of us, let's move in and avoid the claws. Go!"

Jake and Ahsoka charge in first with Rick and Barriss following behind them. Lux and Rachel stood back as they begin opening fire. They used their Power Weapons to blast at the monster, but their attacks bounced off the monster like it was nothing. The monster swings its sharp claws at the Rangers, but Jake and Ahsoka blocked the attacks with their swords.

Allowing Rick and Barriss to leap over to attack the monster. They slash at the monster's shoulders, but to their surprise it didn't pierce the skin. The monster pushes Jake and Ahsoka away before swinging its tail around hitting the other two Rangers. The attack knocked Rick and Barriss through two buildings before crashing into the third one.

Ahsoka and Jake leap up to attack the monster, but its wings block their attack then pushed them back. The monster grab Ahsoka and then begins slamming her into the ground before throwing her into Jake as they are both knocked into a nearby building. Lux and Rachel see what happened so they begin opening fire at the monster to keep it off the others.

Their attacks did nothing to the monster, but it did catch its attention. The two Rangers begin getting some distance figuring its too big to catch up to them. But to their surprise, the monster extended its wings and the monster flew fast towards them. The monster grabs them both and slams them into the ground as it flies across the street.

The monster then throws the two Rangers behind it before firing a dark red energy blast at them. It hit the two Rangers causing them to yell in pain as they fall to the ground. The monster begins charging at them to attack them some more, until Barriss used the Force to knock it off its feet and towards a nearby building. Barriss emerged with Rick as the two Rangers rush to check on their friends.

The monster begins to recover and prepares to attack, but Ahsoka leaps out of the building with her custom lightsabers that she made while in her Ranger form. The white lightsaber blades pierced the monster's back causing it to roar loudly, but it soon begins leaping backwards to slam her into the building. Ahsoka though managed to leap off and over the monster as it hits the wall. Jake appears and rushed over to try cutting its head off.

But to his surprise his blade didn't pierce the monster's skin. The monster hits Jake with its clawed fist before Ahsoka tried using the Force on it. But the monster opened its mouth and fired a dark red energy blast at her. Ahsoka tried blocking the attack, but it managed to harm her and knocks her into a nearby building.

Ahsoka begins panting heavily as she feels her suit powering down. The other Rangers begin regrouping with Jake as they help him up. All while the monster's wounds begin to regenerate as it turns its attention towards them. All while the drones catch it all and shows the galaxy what is going on.

The citizens look on shocked and in horror at what is happening. Not only are the Power Rangers losing, but they are losing to this monster that is easily defeating them. Even the politicians from the Republic and Separatist side look on with what is happening. Including the chancellor himself, who is enjoying the success of his creation.

"O-okay. At what point. Did we lose control here?" Rick asked as he begins panting a little with what happened.

"I think around the part where this monster appeared and began throwing us around like rag dolls," said Rachel as she felt some pain where she got blasted.

Barriss looks over at the direction where Ahsoka got thrown and sighed. "We need to check on Ahsoka and make sure she is okay."

"And we need to find a way to weaken this thing," said Lux knowing their weapons aren't doing shit.

Jake knows the others are right and they need to get Ahsoka to safety. "I'll handle this thing. You guys get Ahsoka and we'll then combine our weapons together. Maybe that'll be enough to hurt it."

"Are you sure?" Barriss asked not wanting her friend to get hurt.

"I'll be fine. Now go," said Jake as he turns towards the monster, while the Rangers take off to find Ahsoka.

The monster prepared to attack them, but Jake took out his blaster and fires it at the monster's face to get its attention.

"Hey! I'm your opponent! You and I are going to fight one-on-one," said Jake as he moves his arms across his chest. "Activate Red Battlizer!"

Jake activates his Battlizer as two long red/silver wings appeared on his back, red/silver armor appeared on his chest with the Tyrannosaurus Rex symbol on the chest as it glows, armored torso, arms, and red/silver helmet.

The monster roared loudly as Jake moves his sword up and prepares to fight. "All right. Time for round two."

That's the end of the chapter and oh boy this isn't good. It looks like Arachnia's monster is a lot tougher than it looks huh? It not only can withstand the attacks of the Rangers, but its powerful enough to hurt them. This is not good. It also looks like this monster is the one that fought Damien on Rhen Var.

Is Damien really dead? Did I really kill off the main villain of the last season off-screen? Would I really do that? Hmm unlikely.

So, what did happen to Damien? Will the Rangers be able to defeat this monster when Damien couldn't do it? Will the Rangers get backup to help them destroy the monster? Or will it be too much for them to handle?
