Here we go with chapter nine (Chapter 86) of season two. I am excited, because this chapter I've been working on for some time. I am looking forward to it and I hope everyone is ready for it. This is going to be a long chapter, so you are all going to get plenty of reading.
I want to thank my friend for his help on this. I appreciate it my friend and thanks for the design of how the Rangers' suits will look like. I also hope everyone will be ready for what happens next. This is going to be fun.
I want to apologize for not updating this last week. The hurricane came down to the south of Texas and caused the power to go out. I also went to help out my family clean up and fix some stuff. We're all okay and I decided to wait till this week to update, while I used last week to get stuff done.
Anyways, things are getting better and we managed to fix the mess that was made. Now, I'm back to updating my chapters and I hope everyone is ready. Thanks to everyone for the reviews from last time. I appreciate it and hope you are ready for today.
Now, last time we saw the Power Rangers begin their journey. To retrieve their new powers and help save the day. However, it won't be easy for them. There's a challenge they must go through and if they fail it will be the end of it.
Will they succeed? Will they end up defeating the darkness? Will they make it back in time? And what new powers will they get?

Knights Quest: Part Five
Naboo
Padme is seen out in the balcony overlooking the lake. She sighed softly as she enjoyed how peaceful it was here on Varykino. It was isolated and it is used as a private refuge from the city. It was owned by the royal government and was maintained by her family.
She was given the place to be used as a safe place for Padme until after her birth. No one outside of the family and her friends knew of her reason for being here. If any of her enemies find out, she is pregnant and put together who the father is then everyone will be after her. Even her family and close friends.
So, as far as everyone is concerned, she is taking time off due to an illness. At least, that's the excuse they went with. They could have gone with exhaustion from the war or she has some death threats against her. But she turned down both ideas since she felt the illness part would work out better.
She just had to wait long enough until Zane finishes working on something that will create an illusion. At least, that's how Zane put it. All she knew though is whatever it is it will keep her safe until after the babies are born. She had intended to come out revealing she was pregnant with a secret lover since it would make things easier than hiding this, but too bad they didn't have someone to play that role.
"Padme," Padme turns to the door to show Nathan walking over to join her. "You all right?"
Padme nods in response as she turns to her godfather. "I just needed some fresh air. Sorry if I worried you."
Nathan shook his head in response as he walks over to her. "It's all right. I took Numa down for a nap, while I had Ventress go find you. She's probably around here somewhere to keep an eye on you."
Padme didn't bother looking for Ventress since she didn't want to bother her. "I understand. Still, I wouldn't worry about it. This place is very secluded and the drones you set up around the perimeter would alert us if anyone or anything shows up."
"Still, better safe than sorry," said Nathan who knew better than to let their guard down. "How are you feeling?"
Padme smiled a little and placed her hand on her belly to feel her babies. "We're doing all right. I just wanted to come out here and…take a little stroll down memory lane."
Nathan wonders what she means as he looks around the place. Maybe she's referring to her spending time here with her family? Padme though knew Nathan and Alexis don't know that this is where the marriage took place. Between her and…Anakin.
"Before the Clone Wars, the Jedi had assigned Anakin to keep me safe. Since I had a bounty on my head," said Padme recalling the attempts on her life before the war.
"Had? Sweetie, you still have those same death threats on your life," said Nathan knowing the attacks haven't stopped, at least without her knowing since he kept an eye on her for a while. "But I assume that coming here was your idea, right?"
Padme nods in response as she continues. "I figured this would be a safe place for us to stay. It was here that Anakin and I got to spend time together. Begin bonding, share our feelings, and even…got married."
Nathan now sees where the two got married. He figured it was somewhere secluded, but he didn't expect it to he here. "Well, it's a perfect location for a wedding. Such a shame though you didn't invite us or the family."
Padme sighed as she turns to Nathan. "It was meant to be a secret. Although I have to admit, back then I did feel like we rushed it. I thought maybe we should first date for a little while in secret, but I guess after all that happened we couldn't wait. I'm sorry."
Nathan shook his head and placed his hand on her cheek. "Don't be sorry. I'm just glad you found someone to be with and someone who loves you. I'm even happier because you found someone who gave you two beautiful children that will bring you so much more happiness. Some struggles will come your way, but in the end it will all be worth it."
Padme smiled happily and placed her hand on her godfather's hand happy that he's okay with the marriage being kept a secret. She also knows he's right. The children growing in her are a blessing. She knows it and she hope Anakin does too.
She did wish he was here with her to help her raise their children together. Perhaps when he gets better that will happen. Maybe then they can have a proper wedding with everyone they love. But for right now, they have to keep this a secret.
"Thank you so much, Nathan. I appreciate everything you, Alexis, and the others have done for us. I just wish there was a way to repay you all."
"Well, I can't speak on behalf of the others, but you know what you can do for me? Be an amazing mom for your kids and don't spoil them too much," Nathan began laughing a little. "Oh, who am I kidding? They're both going to get spoiled rotten by Jake, Rachel, and Rick."
Padme giggled when she thought of how Jake, Rachel, and Rick will try spoiling her kids. She knew though that Alexis will keep them in line and will want the kids to grow up unspoiled.
"Trust me, I'll make sure my kids grow up to be good, well-behaved, and not spoiled. I've also taken the precaution to make sure if the kids are Force-sensitive that Obi-Wan and Ahsoka will help me out," since Padme did ask both to be the godparents for her kids. "I also hope you don't mind with my decision on who the godparents will be."
Nathan shook his head in response. "They're your kids. You get to choose who you want as the godparents. But remember, if you ever need anything, don't hesitate to ask us."
Padme nods in response before she hears Nathan's communicator going off. Nathan excuses himself and goes to see what is going on, leaving Padme alone for a bit. Padme knew she can count on Nathan and Alexis for anything. They have been there to help her through so much.
She just hopes that everything will be okay and nothing bad will happen.
"Word of advice?" Padme sighed as she hears the voice of Ventress somewhere above where they are at. She looks up and see one of her legs hanging from the rooftop. "I suggest you keep those brats of yours in hiding and not bring them out into public. I have no doubt Dooku and his master will sense their connection to the Force."
Padme's heart sunk when she heard what Ventress said about Dooku and his master. "H-how do you even know they will even be Force-sensitive?"
"Oh please, we both know they will be. Considering who their father is and how strong he is with the Force," said Ventress as she begins remembering her encounter with Skywalker, including the first time they fought.
She could sense how strong he was back then. So much power, so much potential, and so much anger. She could see why Dooku was interested in him. He was incredibly powerful, and it was a miracle she survived.
If Dooku or his master were able to turn him then he would become the most powerful Sith Lord in the galaxy. He would become a threat to the entire galaxy, including those close to him.
"I also felt a shift in the Force. Something has changed and it has something to do with your children," said Ventress figuring this must be what she is sensing. "If I sensed it then I have no doubt that Dooku and his master will be aware of it too."
Padme didn't know anything about this. She wonders why Obi-Wan didn't tell her. Or is it possible that he didn't know about this shift in the Force? Does it have to do with the Dark Side of the Force blinding the Jedi of what is happening?
"Ventress, I don't suppose you can tell us who Dooku's master is? Maybe if we find him, we can stop him and keep him from coming for my children?"
Ventress shook her head as she sat up and looks up into the sky. "I never saw what he looks like. He always had a hood covering much of his face. I do know is he's strong. Stronger than even Dooku," she knew that the power Darth Sidious possessed that beating him seems almost impossible. "I just hope your friends will be strong enough to defeat him if you ever do find out who he is."
Padme was hoping that Ventress would be able to provide a clue on who this Sith Lord is. The one using Dooku and trying to destroy the galaxy. But it seems all they can do is hope they will be able to find him. To finish this war and bring peace to the galaxy.
Padme looks over to see Nathan coming back and judging the look on his face she knew something is up. "Trouble?"
Nathan nods in response. "If Numa wakes her, please tell her I'll be back," he then looks up to where Ventress is at. "Keep them safe until I return and don't leave their sight."
Ventress didn't say anything since she knew she is going to do her job. She can only hope she won't end up fighting another crazy monster like last time. Otherwise she's going to ask for more money. And maybe some better equipment to help her hold her own against whatever is send her way.
Nathan walks over to Padme and gives her a small hug. Padme returns the hug and wishes him luck. Nathan promises to return and soon begins teleporting off-world.
Padme looks on to see him teleporting off into the galaxy, while she sighs softly. "Please, stay safe…please."
Gaia
The Power Rangers made their way through the jungle of death and managed to avoid all the creatures that were trying to kill them. Luckily, they were better prepared this time when the creatures tried to attack them at the same time. They were able to take them down quickly and continued their way to the mountain. As they got closer and closer to the mountain, they took notice that the creatures began to lessen their attacks.
Much like the wildlife acted before the Rangers entered the jungle of death. They were afraid. They figured even these creatures would be afraid of something. What that is they don't know. But the Rangers would be ready for it.
The Rangers soon see a clearing ahead and they knew they have arrived at their destiny. They have arrived at the mountain, which to their surprise they found what appears to be some abandoned temple ruins and broken statues.
"Well, this place doesn't look ominous," said Rick as he looks around the place finding it to be empty.
"The fact the creatures stopped following us tells me that something here has them scared," said Rachel as she was careful where they stepped.
"Must be the darkness. What else could it be?" Jake asked as he looks up to see a large door on the mountain. "Looks like we found where the darkness is sealed. Barriss, do you sense anything?"
Barriss nods in response as she shivered a little. "I can feel the dark presence inside. The original Rangers are inside…waiting to be freed."
Lux looks around the door and gulped a little. "I'm no Jedi, but I can feel whatever is inside. It feels cold and…evil."
Rachel nods in agreement as they stopped halfway to the door. "So, what do we do now?"
"Gabriella did say when we made it, we'd be confronted the darkness itself," Rick looks around and sees nothing. "Is there something we need to do?"
"Shh, you hear that?" Barriss replied as she heard something moving against the door. "I think it knows we're here."
Jake nods in agreement. "Get ready," said Jake as he took his sword.
The Rangers all took out their weapons and got ready as they see the door shaking. Very soon the mountain itself begins to shake as the dark clouds above them begins to roar. As the Rangers look on at what is happening, they are unaware the darkness seeping from under the door and heads behind the Rangers. A bolt of lightning came down in front of the Rangers, causing them to jump back.
Suddenly the darkness latches itself to the backs of the Rangers. The Power Rangers can feel something grabbing them from behind and feel it trying to cover them. Jake realized what is going on and sees it's the darkness itself trying to take over their bodies. Jake took his sword and turns around with all his might as he swings his weapon cutting himself freed.
Jake then turns to the others and begins cutting them free of the darkness before they fell back. The darkness though begins to laugh evilly in a deep booming voice.
"So, they send children this time to try to defeat me. How pathetic," said the darkness as it begins taking form of a tall dark figure. "You children cannot hope to defeat me. I have existed long before your time. Long before the time of the Jedi…the Sith….and your friends. You cannot hope to defeat what can never be destroyed."
"Big words coming from a coward who needed to attack us from behind," said Jake as they all stood on their guard. "What's the matter? Too scared to fight us?"
"Oh no, boy. I fear nothing, but I know what you all fear," soon the darkness begins cutting itself into five different forms. "And this fear is what will help me destroy you all, and free me from this prison!"
Soon the Rangers see the darkness taking the form of five pale skinned figures. However, to their shock they see the figures standing before them with glowing red eyes is them. The darkness somehow made a duplicate of the Rangers. A darker and eviler version of them.
"Ah I see what he did," said Rick figuring what the darkness is doing. "He brought out our dark sides. That's what he did. That's um…very clever."
"So, I take it we're in trouble then?" Lux asked figuring this is where Rick is going.
"Yes…you are," said the evil version of Lux as the five evil Rangers charged at Rangers.
The Power Rangers soon charged at their evil counterparts and begin their fight. The Rangers begin blocking and dodging the attacks from their evil halves, while the evil halves attack with so much aggression and ferocity. The evil Rangers begin separating the team so they can try isolating them. The Rangers took notice of this and try to stay close to one another and use the terrain around them to help.
Lux fights his evil half as he avoids his attacks, blocks them, and begins pushing his opponent back. Lux was surprised to find how strong his counterpart is, which means he's this strong too.
"You are so pathetic. It's no wonder you were too weak to save our mother and Steela," said the evil Lux as he as he drives his right knee into Lux's gut then throws him towards the wall. "You couldn't stop them from dying. You were weak…you still are weak!"
Lux blocks his evil half from bringing his weapon down on his head. He can feel the blade inching closer to his helmet. Lux ignored his words knowing they aren't true. He knows if he had this power before he could have saved them…right?
Meanwhile, Rachel avoids the arrows from her evil counterpart. She even fires her own, but her evil counterpart dodges them. Rachel begins charging at her as her evil half fires more arrows at her. But Rachel managed to deflect them with her bow and then grabs one of the arrows before using it to fire back at her evil half.
The evil Rachel avoids the attack as Rachel leaps at her. The evil Rachel uses her feet to flip her over and while Rachel's back was turned, her evil half wraps her bow around her neck. She then begins lifting her off the ground to keep her from pulling away. She begins choking her as she tries to kill her.
"Just give up, you are a weak stupid bitch! We both know you are too weak to lead our people in the senate. You are afraid you will never be as great and strong as our mother. She is a true leader, while you?" the evil half begins laughing evilly. "You are nothing more than a weak little girl who will never be better than mother…and never be a better Pink Ranger as her and as Kimberly."
Rachel managed to pull the bow off her throat long enough for her to see Lux is in trouble. She had to help him, but first she needed to help herself. So, she flips herself over and lands in front of her evil half. Rachel then gives her a huge uppercut launching her into the air and to the ground.
Rachel then runs over and kicks the evil Lux right in the face knocking him towards a pillar. Breaking it in half as Rachel helps Lux up.
"You okay?" Rachel asked as she tries to catch her breath.
Lux nods as he is helped up on his feet and sighed. "Thank you, Rachel. I tried to ignore what he was saying and power on through, but…"
"I know," said Rachel as she offers her hand to Lux. "I almost let my evil half do the same to me because…because I am scared about taking my mom's place."
Lux seems confused until Rachel explains how her mother is going to become the queen and her mother asked her to become the new senator.
"I'm worried I'll never be as strong as her to represent our people. To speak on their behalf and I'm afraid I might screw it all up," said Rachel who is worried she will let her people and family down.
Lux understood the feeling all too well, especially when he became senator. "I felt the same way, Rachel. I was worried I would never be as good as my mother and ever represent my people. But then I met you…" he placed his hand on her face through her helmet. "You helped me become a stronger person, you helped give me the courage to speak up more, and you never gave up on me. You are strong, Rachel. You need to stop trying to compare yourself to your mother and be your own person. Be Rachel and show everyone who you are."
Rachel begins smiling as she felt her confidence coming back to her. She leans in and gives Lux a small kiss before pulling back.
"Sounds like you need to take your own advice too," said Rachel knowing what Lux said is what he needs right now.
Lux realized Rachel is right and begins chuckling. "I guess you're right."
They then see their evil counterparts recovering and prepare to attack them. This time though, Rachel and Lux have more confidence than they had before.
Lux charges at his evil counterpart, who swings his weapon at him. Lux slides across the ground and uses his axe to cut his evil half's right leg out. Lux stood up as his evil half tries to get up and swings his weapon. But Lux cuts the weapon in half and soon stood over his evil counterpart.
"I did fail to save my mother and save Steela. But I know if they were here, they'd be proud of me," said Lux admitting his faults. "But now? I'm a lot stronger than I was before, because I have my friends and the woman I love. So, time for you go back where you belong."
Lux brings down his weapon and soon his dark side was destroyed.
Rachel charges at her evil counterpart and avoids the arrows firing at her. She leaps over and fires an arrow right at her foe. Her evil half avoided the shot, but Rachel landed in front of her. Rachel used her bow to help trip her opponent up and then leaps over grabbing her evil half's bow.
She then leaps over and smashes the bow in the face of her opponent shattering the evil weapon. Rachel then took an arrow and aims it with her bow.
"Your right. I'm not my mother or Kimberly. I'm Rachel Nite and you are fucked!" Rachel fires her arrow and soon her evil half is destroyed.
Once they are gone, Lux rushes over to Rachel. "You did it! Awesome work, Ra…"
Rachel cuts him off placing her hand up to his mouth. She turns to him and smiles. "So, I'm the woman you love huh?"
Lux begins blushing a little and slowly nods his head in response. Rachel giggled before she leans in and kisses Lux on the lips.
Meanwhile, Rick and Barriss begin fighting their evil halves inside a large abandoned temple. Rick managed to avoid his evil counterpart by using the ruins to his advantage. Barriss meanwhile, was having trouble fighting her opponent due to how well she knew her. Her evil half knows all her fighting styles, tricks, and knows her weaknesses too.
Barriss managed to block the attacks from the other, but the aggression shown by the other was causing her to falter and get knocked to the ground.
"You can feel it, can't you?" the evil Barriss asked as she aims her weapon at her opponent. "The Dark Side of the Force, growing ever stronger every day. All while the Jedi let it all happen. I know you've felt the same way, because I am you. I am all your anger, hatred, and pain that you have been bottling up inside of yourself for so long."
"No!" Barriss uses the Force to push her away and get up. "That's not who I am. I will never give in to the darkness."
The evil Barriss begins to laugh. "Of course, you will! I know you've thought about it for so long. I know you've been wanting to give in to the darkness ever since our friends began dying for a war the Jedi claimed they were not supposed to get involved in. Yet every day they send more of us into combat and more of us come back dead!"
The evil Barriss twirls her weapons, while revealing all of Barriss' hidden desires. "I know what you were planning to do, and I know you wanted to send a message. You can deny it all you want, but you will give in to the darkness. Just like Skywalker. You know what he is destined to become."
Barriss begins to doubt herself as her evil counterpart brings up all these horrible things she thought of. All of them she kept locked up when she became a Power Ranger and tried never again to think about. This distraction gave her counterpart an opening and charges at her as she knocks her weapons out of her hand. The evil Barriss then moves the blades close to Barriss's neck ready to finish her off.
"You lost, Barriss. You will die and I will…" suddenly the evil Rick was sent flying towards the evil Barriss knocking them both into broken worship room.
Rick arrives and throws a rock causing the ceiling the come down on the evil halves. Rick grabs Barriss' weapons and held them to her.
"So, looks like you've got some issues you were afraid to tell us huh?" said Rick overhearing everything that was being said.
Barriss feel on her knees and felt so much shame of what just happened. "I-I can't do this, Rick. I can't keep doing this. She's right. Everything she said about me and what I am is all true."
Rick kneels down in front of her and took his helmet off before he does the same for her. "Why didn't you tell us?"
"B-because if I did, I was afraid you all would think of me as a horrible person. That I was a monster that needed to be locked up. Just like how Skywalker locked himself away. Fearing what he might become…I'm afraid of what I will become too…" Barriss felt tears flowing down her eyes and was afraid of where her path will take her. "I'm no Jedi…I am a monster."
Rick sighed as he placed his hands on her face and lifted her head to see his face. "My father died when he was trying to stop a thief. I was angry for so long for what that monster did. I want to make him pay and every day I thought of so many horrible things I wanted to do to him. To make him suffer."
Barriss was shocked to hear Rick admit this to her. She never knew Rick had these same thoughts too and always thought Rick's father died a different way.
"Until…I found out the thief was just a kid. A kid who was just trying to survive and was desperate. My father tried to help him and realize he can be better than a thief. The owner tried to shoot the kid, but my dad saved the kid at the cost of his own life," Rick stopped as he wiped away some tears from his eyes as he tells Barriss the truth. "The kid ran off, the owner lied about what happened, but Nathan found out the truth then had the owner arrested. As for the kid…I met him years later, but not to kill him. Instead, I met him to say…I forgive him."
Barriss took in everything he said and realized how he was like her. Filled with so much anger, rage, and pain. But he never showed it. He tried his best never to show it, but deep down he was hurting too.
Rick sees their evil counterparts slowly recovering and knew they didn't have much time. "Barriss, we have all these desires and anger, but as long as we are strong enough to resist them then we will overcome it. Accept you have faults too like everyone else and you will be able to overcome this."
Barriss knew Rick is right. She will always have these feelings and thoughts. But as long as she is able to resist them and not let it overcome her then she will be okay. She takes her weapons and got ready to fight again.
"Is that how you were able to overcome your dark half? By accepting you have faults too and you can overcome them?" Barriss asked.
Rick chuckled softly and shook his head. "Actually, I just kept ignoring them and made fun of how bad I look as evil."
"You will never be like your father, Rick! You are weak!" the evil Rick shouted as the evil counterparts get freed of the debris.
"And you need a tan! Seriously, let's get you into the sun and put some color on you," said Rick as he makes fun of his evil counterpart.
The evil Rick gets angry and charges at Rick before throwing the lance at him. Rick caught it, throws it back, which his counterpart avoids it. But Rick throws his weapon at a nearby pillar causing it to fall and crush his evil half destroying it. Rick grabs his weapon and turns to Barriss.
"Your move, my lady," said Rick as smiles at Barriss before putting on his helmet.
Barriss giggled as she puts on her own helmet, before hearing her evil counterpart laughing. "How sad. You really think you can ignore all those hateful and evil desires? With what? Love?" the evil Barriss continued to mock her counterpart as she drew her weapons. "Face it, Barriss. You will never defeat the darkness within you. You will become an agent of the Sith. You will become a Sith and you will…"
"Oh, shut the hell up, you bitch!" said Barriss as she uses the Force to throw some of the debris at her evil counterpart.
The evil Barriss slashes through the rocks, but Barriss rushed at her with her weapons. Barriss throws them both, but the evil counterpart blocks them. The evil Barriss then tries to stab Barriss, but both her arms are caught by Barriss' hands. Barriss then leaps up and kicks her opponent in the face.
Barriss then uses the Force to bring her weapons to her then uses the Force to pull her evil counterpart towards her. Barriss then stabs her foe with both her blades and destroys her.
Rich rushes over to Barriss and helps her on her feet. "Awesome work. You kicked…your own ass."
Barriss nods in agreement before she leans against Rick. "Thank you for not giving up on me, Rick."
Rick held Barriss close and nods in response. "Your welcome."
Meanwhile, Jake continued his fight with his counterpart as the two seem equally matched. Jake though knew this fight is going nowhere since they both know each other's moves. So, he needs to try finding an opening or a blind spot to finish this. All while making sure his counterpart doesn't find one too.
"You really think you will be able to lead this team? How?" the evil Jake asked as he continued his vicious strikes against Jake. "You are not Jason. You aren't your father. You are just a weak child who is pretending to be a hero. You couldn't even keep Anakin from turning to the Dark Side…you failed!"
Jake tries ignoring his words since he had doubted himself so much in the past about his failures. Yeah, he knows he messed up and knows he will never be like his father or like Jason. However, he remembers all the times he talked to Ahsoka, his father, and his mother. He even remembers what Gabriella told him and how to never give up hope.
"Your wrong," Jake pushes his evil counterpart back. "I never claimed to be like Jason and I never tried to be a good leader like my father. Even they both made mistakes in the past and failed their team. But they kept on picking themselves up and did all they could to continue fighting for their friends. And I will keep on doing the same too!"
Jake swings his sword trying to strike down his opponent, but also avoided his counter attacks. The two collided with their weapons and tried to push the other back. Jake grabs his evil half's right arm and then falls backwards. Jake flips his opponent over him, but the evil Jake landed on his feet.
Jake quickly flipped over and drives both feet into the chest of his evil counterpart knocking him to the ground. Jake quickly got up and got his weapon in hand.
"There have been teams I failed too, but my friends and family haven't given up on me. They kept believing in me and I don't plan to let them down," said Jake as he charges at his foe as he leaps over to avoid the swing from his evil half's sword.
Jake lands behind him and slashes his back causing his opponent to fall. The evil Jake grabs some dirt then throws it at Jake blinding his opponent.
"You've already let them down! You failed to keep them as a team and now they are dead!" the evil Jake swings his weapon, but Barriss and Rick appeared to block the attack.
"Think again asshole!" said Rick as both Rangers push the evil counterpart back. "We're not dead!"
The evil Jake looks confused and shocked by this until Lux leaps over to attack him. The evil Jake blocked the attack and tosses him towards the others. Rick and Barriss caught Lux as the evil Jake tries to kill them. But Jake leaps over his team and blocks the attack with his sword.
"You see that? My team didn't falter because we never gave up on each other," said Jake as he pushes his evil counterpart back as Lux and Barriss slide under Jake then slash at the evil half from both sides. "We watched each other's back, we stayed together, and we overcame our own faults not just as a team."
The evil Jake charges at his evil counterpart, but Jake ducks and Rick leaps over his friend. Rick used his weapon to swing it and it knocks the sword away from Jake. The two Rangers then lifted the evil counterpart and throw him towards the mountain. The four Rangers gather together as they prepared to fight.
"T-this not possible! You cannot defeat me!" said the evil Jake as the darkness refused to let them destroy it. "Who do you brats think you are?!"
Jake turns to his friends and smiled. "We're the Power Rangers and it's time for you to go."
The evil Jake or rather now the darkness taking a more shadowy cloud form charges at the Rangers. The Rangers move aside as Rachel appeared from behind. She aims her arrow at the heart of the darkness and fired. The arrow flies past the Rangers and plunges deep into the darkness destroying it completely.
The Rangers all cheered loudly as they see the dark cloud hanging over the mountain is now gone. Even the darkness that covered this land was disappearing too as life began to return to the land. They did it! They defeated the darkness and they did it together.
However, their celebration is cut short when they see five podiums appeared from the ground. The Rangers see this and remembered what Gabriella told them.
How when they defeat the darkness to put in their Power Coins on the podiums. The Rangers approach the podiums and carefully removed their coins. They turned to each other before they all before placing their coins in the podium. Nothing happened at first until the ground around them began to shake.
The Rangers back away wondering what is going on. Soon the door begins to open as their Power Coins soon leave the podium to go inside. The Rangers seem confused by this as they see five glowing armored figured appeared. The Rangers got a good look at them and see who they are.
"I-its them," Rachel whispered.
It is the original Power Rangers of Gaia. They walked towards the five young Rangers, until they stood halfway from the Rangers.
"You are the ones who freed us?" the Red Ranger asked in a calm and gentle voice. The five young Rangers nod in response. "Thank you."
"We have been trapped in the mountain for what seemed like an eternity," said the Yellow Ranger.
"But you risked your lives, overcame the darkness within you, and together you freed us," said the Blue Ranger.
"And for that we thank you. Thank you for freeing us and our home from the darkness," said the Pink Ranger who thanks the young warriors for what they did.
"Y-your welcome," said Jake who is glad they have been able to help. "Th-this is amazing. Sorry if we um seem a bit nervous."
Rachel elbows her brother a little. "Not all of us are nervous…but we are glad to finally meet you all."
Rick nods in agreement. "Sorry that it took so long to free you guys, but we're glad we came to help."
"No need to apologize," said the Red Ranger knowing what happened was no one's fault. "We are just pleased to know you were able to defeat the darkness and you did it…together."
"Well, we had our doubts, but we pulled it together and we watched out for one another," said Barriss knowing they were able to succeed as a team.
"And now your all free…what happens next?" Lux asked wondering what will become of the original Power Rangers.
"Unfortunately, our life force is dwindling. Million of years locked away has left us weakened and it will not be long before we go. But thanks to you all we will go in peace," said the Pink Rangers who appreciates what the young Rangers have done for them.
Jake turns to the others, sad that the Rangers are going to pass away. They're happy they were able to free them and give them peace. They had hope though they would be able to stick around and live the life they lost. But it seems that is not meant to be.
Jake knew though there is one thing they still need but didn't want to sound selfish for asking this. "Um I know this might be a lot to ask but…"
The Black Ranger raised his hand. "We know why you came. We can sense a great conflict where you are from."
"It seems that in our absence the influence from the darkness has spread beyond our world," said the Pink Ranger.
"Unfortunately, we cannot stop it…" the Blue Ranger knew though who can stop it. "But we know you can."
"Before our spirits can depart to the afterlife, allow us to pass on our powers to you, young knights," said the Yellow Ranger.
The Red Ranger motions for the Rangers to step forward. "Take a knee, young knights. And allow us to pass on our power along with our title to you."
The Rangers all nod as they stepped forward and got on one-knee before bowing their heads. Waiting for the power to be transferred to them.
The Black Ranger approached Lux first and moved his axe on both sides of his shoulders. "Lux Bonteri, I knight thee…the Black Star Knight Ranger. May the power protect you and all those you love."
The Pink Ranger approached Rachel next and moved her bow down on both sides of her shoulders. "Rachel Nite, I knight thee…the Pink Star Knight Ranger. May the power protect you and all those you love."
The Blue Ranger approached Rick and took his lance before he moved it down on both sides of his shoulders. "Richard Stockwell, I knight thee…the Blue Star Knight Ranger. May the power protect you and all those you love."
The Yellow Ranger approached Barriss and took her swords before moving them down on both sides of her shoulders. "Barriss Offee, I knight thee…the Yellow Star Knight Ranger. May the power protect you and all those you love."
The Red Ranger approached Jake last and took his sword before he moved it down on both sides of his shoulder. "Jacob Nite, I knight thee, the Red Star Knight Ranger. May the power protect you and all those you love."
The Rangers soon stood back and raised their weapons. "Rise now, Power Rangers. Accept the power we now bestow you all, may it protect you always, and may the Force be with you all...always."
Soon the five Rangers begin to stand as the five original Rangers bring their weapons down on them as they are and engulfed in a bright light.
The lights soon died down and the original Rangers are gone. But in their place stood Jake, Barriss, Rick, Rachel, and Lux in their old Power Suits, but with some changes made.
The Rangers new Knightly outfits showed a resemblance to their original outfits, but the Knight upgrades made the drastic changes known. Their helmets had metal medieval knight visor covering their black screens. Chain mail took the place of the rangers' arms and legs, colored in each Rangers respected color. Capes flowed down their back so elegantly also retaining the colors of each respected ranger.
On their chests their Zord symbols were restyled as shields showing each their individual Zords. Their Morphers on their waist with their Power Coins. The Rangers can feel the power flowing through them along with the knowledge of what they can do with these new powers.
"We did it!" said Lux knowing they completed their task.
"We got the power!" said Rachel excited that they got what they needed.
"All right! I can't wait to show the others off what we can do now," said Rick who looks at their new forms and liked them.
"Hold on," Barriss' new suit is warning her of where Arachnia's next attack is going to be. "Guys, we need to get going. They need us."
Jake nods in agreement. "Okay guys. Time to go home and finish this."
The Rangers placed their hands on their Morphers and soon they begin teleporting off the planet, and back home.
Meanwhile, Gabriella, Kimberly, Ziva, Sarah, and the people of Gaia watched as the darkness has been destroyed. The people celebrated with joy and soon saw five colorful bright lights emerged before they took off. The people waved the Rangers goodbye and wished them luck. All while Gabriella and the others didn't say anything.
Kimberly noticed Gabriella wiping away a tear from her eyes knowing they completed the promise her mother made. To return to Gaia and free her knights. They are now freed, and their power has been passed on to the new generation. Gabriella begins walking away and wished the Rangers luck.
All while Kimberly looked on and couldn't help but smile. "Good luck, Rangers and thank you."
That's the end of this very…very long chapter. Yeah, I wanted to make this chapter long, especially how we are getting close to the end of the finale of this arc. So, I decided let's make it long for everyone to enjoy. And to make it exciting.
But yeah, the Power Rangers did it! They got their new power and are ready for a rematch. I want to thank my friend for his help on describing the new suits. Thank you my friend and I appreciate the help.
Also, yes, my friend is the one who came up with the Cerberus Ranger, Cerberus Zord, and Tiberous. Awesome work my friend.
We also got the origin of the original Power Rangers…the original ones before the MMPR ones. Now, since this is my version, I hope no one is going to complain about this version. Also, let's be honest. The history of the Power Rangers kept on changing, especially how in Megaforce they claimed Zordon had a pupil and yet he never appeared. Nor was he ever mentioned at all.
Hell, if I recall correctly, he said he appeared during a time of crisis. So, Lost Galaxy, Lightspeed, Time Force, Wild Force, etc. Those didn't count? Interesting.
Anyways, it looks like the rematch is going to begin soon. Think the Rangers will succeed? Think this time they'll kick Abomination's ass?
