Here we go with chapter 14 (Chapter 91) of season two. I hope everyone is doing all right and everything is okay where you guys are at. Thanks again for the reviews from the last chapter. I appreciate it guys and glad you're all enjoying this.
So far, things have been quiet for our heroes, but that is going to change soon. I hope everyone is ready for today as we get closer to the action. Now, last time we saw Ahsoka and Barriss heading off to Teth to liberate it from the Separatist. While Obi-Wan is off with Mace Windu to liberate Tatooine.
We also saw Zane getting a visit from his sister, Gabriella. Before they are interrupted by Nathan, who is retiring. Who will take on the power then? Who should carry the legacy of the original Mighty Morphin Green Ranger?

The Sixth Knight Part III
Endor
Zane was a bit surprised that Nathan had come by to reveal he'll be retiring. Mostly because he thought he would take a couple of days to think about retiring. So, to hear him come in to reveal he's ready to retire, well, Zane didn't expect it. But he did welcome it since he knew it was only a matter of time before Nathan would finally step down.
Nathan began to explain why he's choosing to step down. From what his wife told him and how she's worried what will happen to him. Nathan can't deny that since Damien's arrival and fighting against his monsters, he was feeling his body was on borrowed time. He wasn't young as he used to be and knew he wasn't going to be able to keep up with the others.
He wanted to wait though. Wait to find someone who will take the power and become the new Green Ranger.
"I see you've been thinking about this for some time now," said Zane who's glad to know that Nathan thought about this decision before he made it. "I know it's not an easy decision, but I'm pleased to know you are fine with this in the end."
Nathan nods in response, while leaning against the wall. "I'm not gonna lie. I was worried how it was going to go when I decided to step down and retire. Now that I said it though and have agreed to leave this all behind…it feels good. At least now I won't have to worry about all the sores and bruises after my fights."
Gabriella begins chuckling softly, which caught the attention of the others. "Oh? I'm sorry. It just reminded me of something the original Green Ranger Tommy once said to me. How he was glad to have been away from the fighting since he ended up being sore and bruised a lot from the fighting."
Zane begins to remember how that conversation went and finishes what else Tommy said. "But a part of him still missed it, especially when he got to work with his friends and help protect the innocent. I remember he used to tell me the same thing. But after his last adventure, he wanted to stay retire. But then Damien came along and well, I guess retirement never really stuck with him in the end."
Nathan knew that sounded familiar. There were times when he did technically retire, but that was mostly during the early years when the kids were born. He was around to help Alexis raise the kids, care for them, and be there for many of their important moments. He only came out of retirement when there was trouble happening in the galaxy.
Stuff that he could easily handle on his own.
"Well, trust me. After doing this for decades now, I think I'm going to spend the rest of my time retired," said Nathan before he looks down at his morpher and rubs his thumb along the Power Coin. "Although, I was tempted to go green one more time after getting an upgrade."
"Its probably for the best. I'm not sure how much your body would be able to handle the full power of the Green Ranger," said Gabriella as she got her staff ready to help unlock the full power of the Dragon Coin.
"What do you mean, the full power?" Nathan asked who seems confused by that statement.
Zane knew that they had to explain everything to Nathan, so he can understand this. "Well, only five of the original knights had their powers cut in half. However, the sixth knight, who was the guardian for our mother had left with her and had his full power."
"The sixth knight was revealed to be our father, Zordon," Gabriella continued explaining after her brother. "Our father had used the full power of the Green Ranger to keep our people safe and make sure nothing happens to them. However, he grew worried someone might gain access to the full power once he stepped down. So, he placed a seal on it. Keeping anyone from gaining its full power."
"Like Rita Repulsa," said Nathan figuring she was one of the bad guys that Zordon had feared.
Zane nods in response and continues. "The power you were able to gain was caused by me. I was able to lift the seal just enough for a few of the power to leak through. Allowing you to gain more power. However, I don't have the ability to lift it completely."
"Luckily I can since mother was the one who taught our father how to seal the power in the first place," said Gabriella before she begins explaining why it's good Nathan didn't gain its full power. "The reason why I brought up why it was good you didn't gain access to its full power is because of how much strain it can take on normal organisms. Father was able to handle it because he like many of our people aren't like other normal organisms."
Nathan wasn't going to argue with that, especially since he's seen what Zane can do, that he hasn't seen other species do. "So, I guess giving the power to someone else who isn't one of you guys is out of the question?"
"Not really," said Zane who believes there are ways for someone to gain its full power. "Maybe with some training, we can make it possible to help anyone who is chosen to be able to handle its power. Just need to help their bodies adjust to the power. Provided we find someone who is capable of handling it. Otherwise, it will be a similar problem that the others dealt with the Zeo Powers."
"What do you mean?" Nathan asked wondering what happened with the Zeo Powers.
"A story for another time," said Zane who knew he didn't have much time to explain everything. "For now? Let's unlock the full power of the Dragon Coin. I'm going to take off soon to help Master Kenobi and Windu on Tatooine. It seems the Separatist have taken over that planet and they need my help with the natives."
Nathan did know of the situation on Tatooine but was surprised to hear Zane is going in person. "Not worried about General Arachnia tracking where the base is?"
"Not to worry. We found a way around that," said Alpha as he shows a hologram of different planets. "Zane will teleport from four different planets, before arriving to Tatooine. General Arachnia can only track Zane's energy signature from the planet he just came from. Just in case, we're having Zane travel to a couple of inhabitable worlds to trick her."
"Nice plan there. Still, are you sure you've got this?" Gabriella asked while sounding concern. "You know that slippery spider is planning something for you if you do show up."
"I'm aware. But don't worry, I'll be careful. We should hurry though unlock the power before I take off," said Zane who wants to see Gabriella do her thing and unlock the power.
Gabriella nods before she turns to Nathan. Nathan places the Morpher with the Power Coin on a table. He takes a step back, so Gabriella can begin unsealing its power. She closes her eyes as her staff begins to glow brightly.
She soon opens them as her eyes begin to brighten. The glowing blue light engulfing her eyes as she begins to mutter the incantation. The Power Coin begins to glow green as the others watched on in amazement. The coin begins glowing more and more as Gabriella sets the tip of her staff down on it.
The glow soon begins to die down from both Gabriella and the Power Coin. Nathan, Zane, and Alpha look over to see the coin appears to still look normal. But Zane and Nathan could sense the power coming from it. It was like with the others.
The true power of the Green Ranger has been unlocked and they can feel it. Nathan almost felt a little intimidated by its power. This was nothing he ever felt before. He's actually glad he doesn't have this power, since he feels it would be too much for him to handle.
"T-That was impressive. Nicely done, ma'am," said Nathan who didn't expect the unsealing to go this way.
"No problem," said Gabriella as she wipes away the sweat from her forehead. "Now, whoever possesses the Dragon Coin will possess a power like no other. This will be nothing like how it was before and all the knowledge the user will gain will help them in combat against even the most powerful foes."
"Even the Dragonzord will have been transformed as well I assume," said Alpha who figures if the other Zords were affected when the others gained their true power, then so will the Zords.
"Yes, it will. The Dragonzord will be in its true form and will rival that of the Zords of the others. Maybe even more," said Gabriella who knew whoever gains this power will become a great ally to the others.
"Well, we'll need to find someone we can trust then," said Zane who knows this is a lot of responsibilities for whoever gains the power to handle. "In the meantime, I'll be off. Will you be here when I get back, Gabriella?"
Gabriella nods in response. "I'll be here. I'll also keep the others company while your away," she then turns to Nathan. "Assuming you don't mind staying here for a bit?"
Nathan did promise to head back home once he was done, but he needed a moment to leave all this behind. "I could stay for a bit," he begins removing his communicator and sets it down on the table next to the Morpher. "I also wouldn't mind walking down memory lane before I leave."
"Excellent. Then while you're here we can talk. Alpha, you don't mind joining us, right?" Gabriella asked.
Alpha nods in response and was excited to spend time with his friends. "It would be my pleasure."
"Great. Then come along and we can talk about some fun stories. Like the time Damien almost got Zane married to this large slug alien woman," said Gabriella as she took her friends and walks them out the room.
Zane was about to speak up about this, but it was too late and the others were gone. His face turning red as he hears his sister's voice echoing down the hallway. Talking about his embarrassing moment, while hearing his two friends laughing. He knew she brought this up on purpose and knew why.
"I accidentally reveal she kissed Ninjor by accident and she still held that over my head years later," said Zane as he let's out a loud sigh.
He soon turns to his daughter and walks over to brush her hair back. A smile forming on his face before he leans down to kiss her forehead.
"I won't be long, my daughter. I'll be back soon and…I love you," Zane takes a step back and soon teleports out off world.
Once he left, everything went back to being quiet in the room. Well, all except for the machines monitoring Serenity's progress. The moment that Zane left though, something happened. His daughter's right-hand fingers began moving.
Slowly and only for a few seconds, but they moved. Did this mean she was waking up?
No. Her fingers soon went back to being motionless and remained that way. Perhaps it was just her body slowly recovering from being frozen for so long. Or perhaps it means…something else.
Teth
Ahsoka and Barriss' fleet soon made it out of hyperspace as they begin heading towards the planet, Teth. They engaged with the Separatist fleet, that are trying to keep them from making it to the planet. Luckily, the Republic fleet outnumbered the enemy and their pilots began making an opening for the transport ships. A few ships got destroyed during the fighting, but the transport ships managed to get through the blockade.
Now, they head towards the planet as the Republic Gunships begin heading to their destinations. Ahsoka's team will head around the monastery and try sneaking in through the tunnel the Clones had set up. Barriss knew her job was to keep the enemy's focus on her and her forces. Try to force the enemy to send their soldiers towards her.
She knew though that even if they did take out the ground forces, they still had to climb up the mountain to get to the monastery. If Ahsoka can take out the shield, then they can make their way up to help her. They won't be able to fly up there and Ahsoka's small team of soldiers won't be able to take the temple on their own. If they say ran into some trouble, she knows the others will be able to help them just in case.
Barriss' forces managed to break through the anti-gunship turrets and now made their way towards the jungle. There, she sees the Clone soldiers that managed to escape from the monastery before the Separatist took control. They had used the trees for cover and even cut some down in order to halt the advancements of the Separatist tanks. Barriss exists her ship with her troops as she orders them to help reinforce the soldiers.
She walks over towards the commanding Clone to check in on him. "Soldier, we're here. What's our situation?"
"The monastery is heavily defended, general," the Clone commander begins to explain. "Their turrets have managed to take out most of our gunships. Luckily for us, the mist down here below is keeping them from getting a good shot at us."
"Their range?" Barriss asked wondering how far the turrets can fire.
"15,000-20,000 kilometers," the Clone Commander replied.
Barriss didn't like the sound of that at all. "So, nearly 10 to 12 miles then," Barriss knows if the mist disappears, then the turrets will be able to hit them. "Then let us hope that General Tano will complete her mission before the turrets get an opening then."
Barriss also knows the other danger is getting their forces through the ground forces of the Separatist. If they want to climb up the mountain, then they'll need to take out the enemy before them. Before the turrets can take them out. So, she begins to devise a plan on how to get through these droids.
"Commander, I want you to take some of your men and try moving around to flank the enemy," Barriss begins explaining her plan before she turns to her own troops. "Commander Gree, I want you to do the same and move on the other side to their flank. I'll keep their focus on me and let their guard down. Once you see your opening, attack."
"General, are you sure about this?" Commander Gree asked his Jedi general.
Barriss nods in response. "These droids will try to take me out due to how much of a threat they see me. That will cause them to lower their guard and give us the opening we need."
The Clones knew the general wasn't wrong. These clankers did see the Jedi as a huge threat and if taken out, they would believe victory is won for them. So, this will allow the Clones to get around them and take them out when their guard is down. Provided they aren't seen while moving through the jungle trees.
"All right. You heard the general, let's move!" said Commander Gree as he orders the Clones to move out.
The two Clone commanders took with them a battalion to move through the jungle, while Barriss and the remaining soldiers keep the enemy busy. She has her walkers move behind the thick trees for cover and protection from the enemy tanks. She even had her soldiers take cover behind the thick trees to protect themselves from the blasters. Barriss took a deep breath and begins remembering her lessons.
She can't morph with her troops around, but she can still draw on her power. To help her avoid the blasters and help keep their focus on her.
She makes her move and leaps over the tree trunk before she uses the Force to lift it from behind her. She then tosses it forward, taking down a few of the droids in front of her. She then rushes over and ignites her lightsaber. Slashing away some of the Battle Droids and dodging their blasters.
To the Clones and Droids, she was moving fast. Faster than how she normally would be able to move. The droids begin sending in their B2-series Super Battle Droids against her. Barriss deactivates her weapon and charges at the droids.
The Super Battle Droids opened fire at her, but she managed to avoid their attacks before she palmed thrusts towards one of the droids. Knocking it away towards the droids behind it. She then used the Force to knock away the two droids beside her and knocks them away as well. Barriss then ignites her lightsaber and leaps over to the tank before her.
She cuts off its muzzle and then leaps over to where the Droid Commander is at. She lifts it out of the tank, and she leaps inside. Destroying the droids inside of the tank before she leaps out. The droids tried to blow up the vehicle, but she got out of it just in time.
The Clones watched in awe at their Jedi commander taking down the droids so easily. They knew she was strong, but they never saw this side of her before. They did snap out of it in time to join in the fighting and help her out. Shooting down the droids and having their walkers shoot down the other tanks.
Barriss sees more of the droids converging on her, but she knew this is what she wanted. Most of their forces are now coming down on her. This means the remaining troops hiding behind the barrier will be a smaller and easy for her troops to take down. She has to really thank Rick for helping her come up with some strategies to use in her battles.
This gave her troops who are coming in from the rear to attack. The Clones fired some rockets at the tanks from behind before they charged in. Opening fire at the droids, who were caught off-guard with the Clones appearing from the jungle. The droids tried to fire back, but the Clones rushed in and fired at many of them to keep them from all firing at once.
Barriss soon motions for her troops to charge in and attack. The Clones did as order and begin to attack. Taking down the droids and joining their brothers in the fighting. Barriss deflects the attacks from the droids and soon begins meeting up with the others as she sees the remaining droids being taken down.
"Excellent work, commander," said Barriss who congratulates her soldier. "Now, all we have to do is hold this line and wait until Ahsoka takes down that shield."
"Do you think she'll be able to get it done before the mist clears up?" Commander Gree asked as he looks up knowing it won't be long before the mist is gone and they get exposed.
"I believe Ahsoka will get the job done soon. Have faith, commander," said Barriss who knows Ahsoka will succeed in her mission.
For now? They'll to get their tanks close by to the mountains so they can begin the climb. Once the shield is down, then they can begin to make the climb up to the monastery. And hopefully complete this mission without any problems.
Meanwhile, on the other side of the mountain, there appears to be some Battle Droids on patrol. They were set up around outside the shield when they received word that some Clones were seen around here. They were placed outside the shield to try luring them out and then open fire. Only three outside the shield and six others inside the shield.
Although, the droids didn't have much to worry about. Since the Clones and their Jedi commanders can't break through the barrier, they would be wasting their time.
"Do you hear that?" said one of the Battle Droids who could hear the fighting going on the other side of the mountain. "It sounds like the fighting has started."
"And we're missing it. Just great," said the second Battle Droid.
"What are you complaining about? You should be grateful not to be in a battle," said the third Battle Droid. "I barely survived the last one I was in and that was against a Jedi."
"Oh please. I'm not worried about any Jedi," said the second Battle Droid.
"Of course, you aren't. You aren't worried because that ugly bug thing up there in the monastery keeping an eye on things," said the first Battle Droid.
"I don't care about that thing or whatever that general spider lady sent. I can take down a Jedi on my own without any—" the second Battle Droid is suddenly pulled into the misty jungle and yells.
The two Battle Droids hear what sounds like a lightsaber igniting before it took down their droid companion. The two alert the other droids behind the barrier, before they look for the Jedi.
"Do you see the Jedi?" the first Battle Droid asked.
"No, but don't worry. There's more of us and one of them," said the third Battle Droid.
Until they felt someone landing behind them. Both of them groaned before their heads get slashed off. Behind them, stood the White Power Ranger. Ahsoka had transformed earlier to take out the Battle Droids in the area, while she has Captain Rex lead the men get the supplies.
She needed him to buy her time so she can take these droids out fast and quickly. Before the Clones show up to see her in this form.
She looks over to see the Battle Droids aiming their weapons at her but remain behind the barrier. Believing they're safe from her. Ahsoka though used the Force to lift the droids up before she crushed them. She even launched those she didn't crush against the wall and destroyed them.
Once she was sure they were all down, she begins contacting Jake. Letting him know what she overheard the droids say and to have the others come to Teth soon. After that, she powers down and begins looking for the hole the Clones made. She was told they hid the hole under a large rock near the mountain.
Ahsoka had five large rocks to go through before she found the right one. Right in the middle of the other larger rocks. She begins to use the Force to move the rock to show the hole. She leaps through it and sees how big the Clones made it.
She begins making her way through it and soon found the exit. She leaps through the hole and looks around to see they've made it behind the barrier.
Just in time to see Captain Rex and the men coming out of the mist with Ahsoka's Astromech droid, R7-A7.
"Rex, the hole is right near the wall," Ahsoka points to the hole that leads under the shield.
"We see it. Let's move men!" Captain Rex ordered as the men head towards the hole and go through the tunnel that was made.
Ahsoka in the meantime begins taking out the new grappling gun Almora had given them. She was tempted for them to use the jetpacks, but she knew it would make too much noise. They need to avoid being seen. And they need to keep the droids from alerting General Arachnia's monster.
So, they'll be using the new grappling guns that Almora gave them. They will shoot up to 200 ft, pierce through the rock, and keep them there until they can fire another round. The sharp tip pierce deep into the rock, spreads out to form a hook, and binds itself inside. Keeping it in place and can hold up to 500 pounds of weight.
Ahsoka and her men all standby before firing their grappling guns into the air. The equipment works and its embedded into the mountain. Ahsoka sends a signal to Barriss to inform her they are making the climb. They soon begin making their way up, while hoping the battle will keep the enemy distracted.
"Once we make it to the top, general. What's the plan? No doubt they'll have some droids waiting for us on the platform," said Fives knowing of the danger they'll run into.
"I've already got a plan for that," said Ahsoka as she turns to Captain Rex. "Still got those detonators that Almora gave us?"
Captain Rex nods in response. "I assume we're going to throw them at the droids on the platform?"
"Yes, but we'll need a distraction," said Ahsoka before she turns to Fives. "Fives, take half of the men to one side of the platform and Rex will take the men to the other side. R9, get ready to open those doors."
R9 chirps in response, while Captain Rex didn't like where this plan is going. Considering she didn't mention what she was going to do. So, already he knew she was going to do what her master does. Improvise.
Tatooine
The Republic forces had arrived at the planet of Tatooine. Once under the control of the dangerous criminal, Jabba the Hutt. A feared crime lord and controlled much of the Outer Rim. And was someone that no criminal in the Outer Rim would dare try to mess with, unless they had a death wish.
Jabba was once even an ally to the Republic, after his son was kidnapped by Count Dooku. Thanks to Anakin Skywalker and his Padawan, Ahsoka Tano, they were able to save Jabba's son. In exchange, he gave the Republic permission to go through his territories. That all changed though when Damien broke free of his seal.
Damien came to Tatooine after his imprisonment and met with Jabba. He killed Jabba and his son, along with many of his followers in his palace. This left a power void, which many criminals, including Jabba's family tried to fill. Until Damien gained control over the criminal organization to gain some power, before he betrayed his allies.
Upon his death though, General Arachnia helped give this power to Count Dooku and the Separatist. This gave the Separatist more power in the Outer Rim and now they began conquering planets that were once under Jabba's control.
So, the Jedi have sent two of their own to Tatooine to break this control the Separatist have. Teaming with the locals, they met up in the canyons, where they planned their offensive against the Separatist.
The leader of this small group of rebels of Rebels is a human named Kitster Chanchani Banai. With him, stood a Rodian, Wald as they discussed with the Jedi Masters what they know on a hologram map.
"So far, the Separatist forces have control over the cities of the planet. Some of the settlement towns have been safe, but that's because the Separatist don't see them as a threat," Kitster explained as he shows the settlements. "They also know the Tusken Raiders will deal with these settlements, since they know how much they hate us."
"You can leave the Tusken Raiders to us," said Master Windu knowing Zane will come by to assist them. "How many do you have that are willing to help us?"
Kitster turns to his friend, who whispers to him the numbers, which doesn't make his friend happy. "Only twenty, sir. I'm sorry, but we lost nearly forty last month and I'm doing all I can to keep the people I have left from running off. Only twenty volunteered to help us."
"Its all right, Kitster. We can't ask them to do more than they've already have," said Master Kenobi knowing that they'll have to do with what they have. "Once our friend arrives with the Tusken Raiders, we should have enough to take the factory."
"Assuming they'll help us," said Commander Cody who has his doubts. "I'm sorry general, but this plan about involving the Tusken Raiders is…well, doesn't sound like it will work."
Kitster nods in agreement with the Clone. "He isn't wrong. The Tusken Raiders are animals. They don't care about helping anyone and only care about themselves. They'll kill anyone who dares enters their territory and if you are captured…the stories I heard. That's why I really doubt your friend, even if they are a Power Ranger will be of much help to convince them to join us."
"I know it seems impossible, but I have faith Zane will come through and get us the help we need," said Master Kenobi who knows Zane wouldn't be doing this, unless he knows how to get the Tusken Raiders to help us. "In the meantime, let's focus on the factory. Now, where did you say the factory is located?"
Kitster turns to his friend, who seems to have a lot of doubts about this plan. But Kitster knew they must try to go along with this and hope it will work. Kitster shows the hologram of where the droid factory is located. Not far away from Jabba's old palace, but that wasn't the issue that he has.
"There's got to be hundreds of these Battle Droids waiting for you. We also got word that the Separatist somehow have gained control over five Krayt Dragons," Kitster shows a hologram of the Krayt Dragons and how big they are. "How in the world are we going to get through these things? They're mostly underground and don't have a lot of weakness."
Master Windu and Kenobi knew this is going to be a problem. They know about these creatures and know they hunt underground. Their heads appearing from the ground to devour their food, then make their way down. Even their weapons won't be able to pierce through their bodies.
Only weakness they know of is their underbellies. But even if they set up some traps, they're sure that General Arachnia has some control over them. Meaning they'll all attack at once. And they won't be able to kill them all at once.
They suddenly hear what sounds like loud roars coming down the canyon. The Jedi, Kitster, Wald, and the Clones head towards the source of the noise. They look over to see what appears to be five Massiff creatures. Kitster and Wald knew they are pets of the Tusken Raiders, who wouldn't try approaching this many people.
Not unless they're not alone.
Sure enough, they spot what appears to be a few Tusken Raiders. The Clones, Kitster, and Wald begin aiming their weapons at the Tusken Raiders, ready to fire. But Obi-Wan and Mace Windu kept them from pulling the trigger. Before anything could happen though, a loud howl was heard behind the Tusken Raiders.
This caused the creatures to stop growling and even stop the others from firing. The Clones, Kitster, and Wald look on confused, but Obi-Wan and Mace Windu knew something was going on. They look over to see a cloaked figure emerging from behind the Tusken Raiders. The figure walks over and pets the head of some of the Massiff, which seem to enjoy this.
The figure soon stops in the middle of the two groups, before removing his cloak to reveal to be Zane. Obi-Wan sighed a little in relief when he saw his friend appearing just in time.
"Gentlemen, sorry for being late, but I thought it would be best for me to meet with the Tusken Raiders first," Zane explained as he stood before the others with his staff.
The Clones, Kitster, and Wald look on confused at who this stranger is. But Obi-Wan and Mace Windu knew who it is as they approached Zane.
"Could have called a little earlier to let us know about this," said Master Kenobi who is glad that Zane has come to help them. "Still, we appreciate you doing this."
Zane nods in response before he turns to Master Windu. "I'm just glad to be here in time. I assume the young man and the Rodian are our other allies here?"
Master Windu nods in response before motioning for Kitster and Wald to come over. "Gentlemen, this is Zane, he's the leader of the Power Rangers."
Both Kitster and Wald both give a small head bow to Zane. They were shocked to see the leader of the Power Rangers before them, especially since they didn't know they had a leader.
"T-Thank you for coming here," said Kitster before he turns over to the Tusken Raiders. "How in the hell did you show up here with them? Much less even have them come here?"
Zane turns to the Tusken Raiders to motion for them to come over before he replies. "When I first came to this universe, I began to explore different areas where to seal Damien. One of those places was here. I met the Tusken Raiders when I came here and let's just say they didn't take kindly to me being here. Even tried to kill me, but I was able to beat them all in combat, without killing them."
"W-Wait. You didn't kill any of them? Why not? They attacked and tried to kill you," said Kitster who didn't understand how someone with so much power couldn't kill them. "With what you Power Rangers could do, killing them wouldn't be so much of a problem."
"Just because you have power, doesn't mean you should use it to take any lives you want. Instead, you could use it to help people and even put them on a better path," Zane turns to the Tusken Raiders, before he gave a small smile. "Instead of taking their lives, I wanted to learn from them. Find out what they were and what their culture is all about. I would make trades with them in exchange for knowledge. Over time, I began to understand them, learn their ways, and see why they are what they are."
Zane then turns to Kitster and gave a small smile to him as well. "The Tusken Raiders are brutal, dangerous, and at times can be lethal. But they have survived on this harsh world for thousands of years, do what they can to keep their people safe, and defend their home from outsiders. They may be crude, but they are those that keep their word, and for the things I have done for them, they have accepted me as one of their own. So, when I asked them to help us, they agreed they'll do it, as long as we agree to their terms."
Kitster and his friend look on surprised with what Zane has told them. Surprised to find that this man doesn't see these animals as…well animals. But as people that are only trying to survive on this world. Something they both understand and how they will defend it, like they are willing to do now.
Obi-Wan is glad to see Zane's words have gotten through to their allies. Even their Clones, who seem stunned by the words from Zane.
Master Windu was pleased to see what Zane said and knows now they can all work together more properly. "What are the terms they are asking for?"
Zane begins going over the terms that he negotiated with the Tusken Raiders. "First, they want this whole territory to be off-limits to the people. They are risking a lot of their own for doing this and feel they deserve this land for their own."
"They can keep this whole place," said Kitster knowing there is no way they'll want this whole place and will focus on their own homes. "Anything else?"
Zane begins showing a hologram of the Krayt Dragons. "The Krayt Dragons have within their bodies a pearl. These are very rare and valuable, the Tusken Raiders want it. Along with the bodies. However, I'm also aware of how these pearls could help the people of Tatooine rebuild, so I made them a counteroffer. They will give two of the pearls to our friends here, including some of the meat of the Krayt Dragons, while the rest they keep."
Kitster knew with these pearls, they would be able to rebuild much of the damages that will be made during the fighting. Along with the parts of the Separatist droids that they salvage after the fighting is done. Kitster also heard how tasty the Krayt Dragon meat are and they would be able to feed many who are starving right now. He turns to his friend, who nods for him to accept the deal.
"Anything else?" Kitstar asked wondering what else the Tusken Raiders want.
Zane turns to the Tusken Raiders and begins to speak with them in Tusken, while also doing what appears to be hand signs. Wondering if there is anything else. The leader of this group begins to reply back, while using hand signs too. Once Zane got what he needs, he turns to the others and smiles.
"Just that we make sure to kill the two monsters inside of the palace," Zane replied as he begins to chuckle softly. "I guess they're referring to the four-armed cyborg general and one of General Arachnia's monsters."
Master Windu and Obi-Wan did hear that General Grievous is on the planet. They didn't expect one of General Arachnia's monsters to be here as well. They knew this will be a problem, but they're hoping with Zane here it will make the mission go much smoother. At least they hope since Obi-Wan figures the others will be off on Teth.
"They have a deal then," said Master Windu as they agree to the terms of the agreement.
Zane translates to the Tusken Raiders that they accept the terms. The Tusken Raiders being yell with excitement, while Zane turns to the others with a big smile.
"Looks like they're in. So, when do we move out?" Zane asked.
Obi-Wan turns to Master Windu and their soldiers, before he turns to Zane with a small smile. "Soon. But first, let's form a plan on how we're going to do this."
It looks like our heroes are making their move now. Ahsoka and Barriss attacking the droid army to take back Teth from the Separatist. So far, it looks like they're doing well. Will they last long until the new monster shows up?
Also, yes, I brought in Anakin's best friend, Kitster. I had to look up his information to find he became a smuggler years after Anakin left. I also found out that he would eventually meet Princess Leia, who wanted to find out more information about her father. Even learn what kind of person he was before becoming Darth Vader.
So, I thought about bringing him in to help the others. I thought about bringing in Cobb Vanth but decided maybe to save him for another time. It also looks like our heroes will be teaming with the Tusken Raiders. Who yes, are not exactly trusting people.
However, as we've seen in the Mandalorian, there's more to them than meets the eye. I wanted to give everyone a chance to show they are those that can be negotiated with. That will keep their word and won't back down from it. But if there are those who aren't happy with them, then that's fine.
Still, how will things go next time? Think this new alliance will be enough? Think with Zane in his first fight in front of the Clones will be enough against the Krayt Dragons? And think the others will have an easy time with their mission?
