Chapter 17 - Decisive Duel Battle! Gardina vs Arga
In the previous chapter, Playmaker was finally escaped from the Virus Castle, reuniting with Gardina and the others but when he learned that Mouse Hero Boy was getting terribly ill, he was shocked in astonished and Gardina comforts him. After that, they continued went on to the castle, but they were been cornered by Arga, demanding to surrender Playmaker to her. On the other hand, the Virus King was started to wrecked havoc in every parts of Link Vrains. Back when, Gardina accepted Arga's challenge, making Playmaker to getting worried about her. Meanwhile, Mouse Hero Boy was regained consciousness once again, surprising when he was been helded by Ai and the other Ignises.
What will be the duel strategy of Gardina that it will can be used against Arga? Who will gonna win? Who will gonna fall down?

Gardina and Arga, were already ride on their Duel Boards while Playmaker and the others were at the top of a tall building, watching at them from behind.
" Are you ready, green warrior? "
" I'm always to be ready, Arga. Somehow, this is will be your greatest downfall. "
" It will never let it that to happened. I will make sure that the Virus Clan will take over the entire Link Vrains, your favorite world. " with a smirk laughter on her face
" I won't allowed it! "
They activated their duel disks.
" Speed Duel! "
And their duel battle was begun.
Gardina - 4000 LP
Arga - 4000 LP
Arga began her first move.
" I will go first. I draw! "
She draw a card from her deck.
" I summoned my Dark Virus Beast in attack mode. "
Her monster was summoned out of the field.
Dark Virus Beast - 1300 ATK and 800 DSFE
" And I placed one card face down card and I end my turn. It was your move, green warrior brat. "
" I had never anticipated that this woman was using a virus deck. " Soulburner said
" Is because it was very most common deck for every servants of the Virus Clan. I think that her deck was far more stronger than the other decks. " Varis stated
Soulburner was surprised of what he had said.

Gardina makes her second move
" It was my turn. I draw. "
She draw a card from her deck.
" Perfect " she thought and she went on " I summoned my Green Fighter in attack position. "
Her monster was summoned out of her field.
Green Fighter - 1200 ATK and 1000 DSFE
" And I'll activate it's special ability. When it was summoned on the field, I can able to special summoned to a stronger monster without any sacrifice. "
" No kidding me! " with a surprise expression on her face
" I special summoned my Green Fighter to become... Green Magical Archer! "
Green Magical Archer - 2000 ATK and 1800 DSFE
" Alright! She had special summoned her new monster without any sacrifice on her first move. " Soulburner said, with determination
" Not bad " Ghost Gal said, with impressment on her face
Soulburner looks at Playmaker, whose facial expression was in a worried manner.
" I guess you are feeling worried, aren't you? Take a easy, Gardina will win in this duel match. I'm so sure of it. " he said, tapped his hand on his shoulder, cheered him up
" I think you had finally made up your mind, huh? " Varis asked
" No, not really.. " Playmaker answered, in a low tone voice, watching at Gardina from the distance, thought on his mind " Don't let your guard down, Hazel. I'm counting on you... "

" This is impossible! You had special summoned to a strong monster on the field without any sacrifice on your first move. " with a surprise expression on her face
" Because it was my hidden power of my green light deck. Now, Green Magical Archer! Attack her monster with your magical green shot. "
Green Magical Archer fires his attack at the Dark Virus Beast and it was successfully destroyed on the field.
Arga - 4000 to 3700 LP
" I'm not done yet, I summoned my Green Fairy Goddess in attack position. "
Her monster was summoned out of the field.
Green Fairy Goddess - 2500 ATK and 1000 DSFE
" Now, I will used my monster to attack you directly with Green Blast. "
Green Fairy Goddess fires her attack at Arga.
Arga - 3700 to 2700 LP
" Way the go, Gardina! " the Knights of Hanoi members shouted with loud cheers
" Thanks " Gardina said, with a thumbs up sign and she looked at Playmaker, who was watching, was smiling at her
This makes Arga was felt enraged with resentment, and she said to her " Do you think you are happy now, green warrior brat? It doesn't make sense. "
" Well, do you think you are still hated at me is because you wanted my childhood friend for your evil purpose? I had already know your real secret. "
The players were surprised of what she had said.
" She already knows Arga's real secret?! What she was talking about? " Soulburner wondered in a surprise manner
But in a moment of sudden, Mouse Hero Boy along with Ai and the other Ignises arrived in. When Playmaker saw him, he was so very delighted.
" Master Playmaker! " Mouse Hero Boy shouted, ran towards to him, went to his palm hand
" I'm so glad that you are getting back to normal. I'm so very worried about you. " Playmaker said
" So, what was going on in here? " Mouse Hero Boy asked
" Gardina and Arga were having a duel match down there, well you know, for Playmaker. " Soulburner said, with embarrassment
" Ugh, give me a break. " Playmaker protested, with a slight blush on his face
" Hold on... don't tell me that these two are competing for you, huh? Wow! I guess you are the main price for the day. " Ai said, with sweet romantic expression on his face
" Ugh, not even you, Ai. " Playmaker protested
The other Ignises were giggled at him.
" So... did I heard that Gardina had already knows Arga's real secret. " Mouse Hero Boy said
" It is. But how she had know this from the very beginning? " Soulburner asked, with curiosity on his face
" Is because she has the power ability to predict the future. " Playmaker said
They were surprised of what he had said.
" She has the power ability to see the future?! But how did you know? " Soulburner asked
" Why you didn't tell that to us from the first place? " Varis asked him
" I will explained everything later after their duel match. " Playmaker said, turned his head, watching at the duel

Arga, was surprised of what Gardina had said.
" You... had the power to predict the future?! That was impossible! "
" Is because.. I was born in this world with passion and confidence. I had been truly believe in my power that I have, in using for the peace and justice. It was not comes from the mind, but to your heart. "
" Ha! Do you think I will believe in those things you had said? It was doesn't exist in my dictionary. "
" You didn't believe because you are a pure evil person, who thinked nothing but evil desires. From the very beginning, I had already know who you really are. "
She draw an another card from her deck.
" And besides, I will always believe in myself that I will gonna protect this world from the great darkness and destruction, for the sake of everyone living here and I can't allowed any evil forces to ruled the whole world. "
She placed three face down cards on her field.
" I had placed three face down cards on my field and I end my turn. "
The two women looked at each other, in different facial expressions. After a few seconds, Arga interrupted, went on " Somehow, I will make sure that I will defeat you at all cost. I draw! "
She draw an another card from her deck.
" I activate my face down card, Virus Counter. "
Her face down card was opened, making Gardina was surprised in shocked.
" Virus Counter?! "
" This spell card is activate when my opponent has a monster of 2100 ATK points up to higher. "
" No kidding! "
" So it means... your precious green fairy will be destroyed. "
Green Fairy Goddess was destroyed by the Virus Counter spell card.
" Next, I summoned my Virus Mummy Warrior in an attack position. " placed her monster card on her duel disk
Her monster was summoned out of her field.
Virus Mummy Warrior - 2700 ATK and 1500 DSFE
" Oh my! Her monster was very much higher than Gardina's monster. " Ai said, with a surprise expression on his face
" This is not so good... " Mouse Hero Boy uttered

" Now, Virus Mummy Warrior, destroyed her other monster with your Super Slash Attack! "
Virus Mummy Warrior attacked her Green Magical Archer and it was successfully destroyed.
Gardina - 4000 to 2500 LP
Arga went on " I'm not done yet. I will played this trap card, Virus Dark Barrier. When this card was played, I can able to used any Virus monsters that I wanted with. And next, I played an another spell card, Virus Devisor! When this card was played, it's special ability that when my opponent has no monster on the field, it can reduced 1000 life points at the end of every turn of this duel. "
" No way! "
Gardina - 2500 to 1500 LP
" Oh no! this is bad, when it will kept like this, her life points will be automatically goes down to zero. " Varis said, in a surprise manner
" Link Vrains will be doomed for good... " Gore uttered

" Well, do you think that you can win easily against me? " and she burst in laughter and she went on " So, it was time for you to give up, and the whole Link Vrains will be ruled by the Virus Clan. There is no way that you can't stopped me and of course, Playmaker will be mine for good. " with an evil laughter on her face
Gardina, nodded her head, in a silent manner, feel a little disappointment on her face. Playmaker, was watching at her from afar, was feeling scared with fear, shouted to her " Don't ever listen to her, Gardina! You will never give up so easily. You had promised that you will gonna protect the entire world from darkness and destruction. You had promised that to me from before, right?! Don't ever surrendered is because... the whole Link Vrains was truly relied on you... just believe in yourself... for the sake of everyone... I will always believe in you... forever. "
Encourage by his words, Gardina raised up her head again, with strong determination on her face, making Arga was surprised.
" What the? "
Gardina turned her head, facing to Playmaker, said with a loving smile " Thanks for encouraging me, Playmaker. "
Playmaker did the same way as she did. After that, she turned her head back, facing to Arga " I will never let you to win in this duel, mark my words. I will gonna protect this world with all I have! "
" Ha! It was too late. The Virus King will take over the entire Link Vrains. There is no way that you can stop me. "
" You shall see about that "
" Say what?! "
" I will brought out my greatest miracle. "
She draw a card from her deck.
" I will opened one of my face down card, Miracle Recovery! When this card was played, I can able to bring back a monster that it was destroyed previously. "
" No way! "
Green Fairy Goddess was returned back in the field once again.
" And now, I will activate my hidden Duel Skill, Green Power Evolution! " raised her green ring that she weared on her finger
" What the? You had weared the Green ring?! it can't be... That was impossible! "
" Way the go, Gardina! " Mouse Hero Boy yelled

" Do you think you will gonna defeat me? It will never let it that to happen. I activate my Duel Skill, Green Power Evolution. When I activate this skill when I have my life points was at 1500 or lower, I can able to summoned a new even stronger monster on the field through Link Summoning. "
" Heh, my monster was far a little bit stronger than your monster. " with a little mocking expression on her face
" Somehow, a new miracle will gonna arise soon. "
" What?! "
" I will activate my spell card, Light of Hope! When this card was played, i can able to summoned an another monster. I go with my Green Sorceress. "
Her monster was summoned out of the field.
Green Sorceress - 1500 ATK and 0 DSFE
" Next, I will activate my last face down card, Chain Trapper. When this trap card was played on the field, it will negated every trap or spell card on the field. "
" No way! "
Her Virus Dark Barrier trap card was destroyed.
" And not only that, there was an another effect, it will chained every card markers on your disk. If it does, you can't able to summoned any monsters on your field. "
" Dammit... " with a gritted anger on her face
" Now, I will used my two monsters to the Link Arrows, in order to link summoned. "
Her two monsters went to the Link Arrows.
" I'll Link Summoned... my ultimate powerful Green monster... " and raised her hand higher, and she shouted " I will bring forth, the one and only Super Ultimate Green Fire Dragon!! "
Super Ultimate Green Fire Dragon came out of the field.

Playmaker and the other players were surprised of what they had saw.
" That's was her powerful monster? What an amazing move... " Varis said, with a surprise expression on his face
" I had never seen that kind of dragon monster from before. I think it was a new one and she was the only one who can able to summoned the strongest and powerful dragon monster through Link Summoning. " Spectre stated
" I think it was an another evolution of her ace monster from before, her original Green Dragon, right? " Mouse Hero Boy asked Ai
" Yes, I think her monster was evolved into a most powerful dragon beast ever due to her Duel Skill, Green Power Evolution. " Ai said in response
" So it means... " Soulburner uttered
Even Kolter and Akira Zaizen were surprised in astonishment when they saw Gardina's monster on the computer screen.
" No way! She had summoned her powerful monster on the field through only Link Summoning? " Akira wondered in a surprise manner
" Impressive move... I think this Gardina was such no ordinary duelist... I think she was... " Hayami uttered

" She had summoned her strongest monster on the field? How she managed to do that? Does she used her skill in her green ring...?! "

On the other hand, the Virus King was started to getting feel weakened, by the power of her green ring.
Even the people in Den City were surprised too of what they had saw on the TV screen. Mana Shima, was watching too, shocked in astonished of what he had saw.

Even the other players of Link Vrains were surprised of what they had saw, including Brave Max (the virtual identity of Naoki Shima). But then, they saw Gardina on the TV screen and they shouted with loud cheers " Go! Go! Gardina! " while they didn't minded the army of the Virus Clan were didn't move around, were shocked in froze, just like a statue.
Somehow, the two animals Frog and Pigeon were at the other rooftop of the building in which Playmaker and the others were standing at, taking a record on their camera, for the ultimate scoop for day.

" I think that this dragon monster was called a " Miracle Monster " . " Flame stated
" Miracle Monster, what's that? " Soulburner asked, with curiosity on his face
" I'm so getting excited! She will gonna win in this duel match. " Mouse Hero Boy said, with excitement on his face
" Me too " Ai said, with a smile on his face
" I guess I had finally made up my mind. " Playmaker said
" What's it, Master Playmaker? " Mouse Hero Boy asked
He turned his head, looked at Gardina from afar, with a loving smile on his face.

When Arga saw it, she was shocked in astonished.
" It can't be... this monster has 3000 ATK points... it was impossible! "
" To achieve the impossible is to believe that is possible. That was my greatest motto and now, it was time to take you down for good... "
Arga, was gritted with anger on her face, thinked on her mind that it will be become her greatest downfall.
The duel match between Gardina and Arga was begun. Somehow, in the midst of the duel, Gardina's life points goes down to 1500 due to Arga's spell card. She demanded her to give up but thanks to Playmaker's encouragement, she had activate her Duel Skill, Green Power Evolution, through her green ring, and she summoned her new powerful monster, Super Ultimate Green Fire Dragon.
Will she can able to win in this duel match against Arga? Will the Virus King and the minions will be dispersed for good? Will she can be the new savior and protector of Link Vrains?
