Monica slept curled up in her husband's arms when she heard the bedroom door open. She looked up and saw her son standing in the doorway holding his favorite stuffed animal. Monica sat up and Chandler shifted at the sudden movement. "Jack what's wrong?" she whispered.

"I had a nightmare," he mumbled, walking closer to the bed.

"Okay come up here" she patted the bed next to her.

Jack climbed onto the bed and laid next to his mom as she laid back down. "Momma, did I wake you up?" he whispered.

"Yes, but it's okay don't worry" Monica tried fixing his hair. "What happened in your dream?"

"I came home from school but you and Daddy were gone, and then I went to uncle Ross's and everyone was gone too and then I went to aunt Phoebe's and she told me that you were never coming back" he whispered.

Monica frowned and hugged him close to her "honey, we're never leaving you or your sister. We're a family no matter what happens and we love both of you very much. I promise you don't need to worry about us going anywhere."

"What if I come home and you're not here?"

"If I'm not here then Dad will be. You can always call me and I'll always answer. We're always going to be here for you and your sister okay?"

"Okay," Jack nodded. "Can I sleep with you tonight…"

"Of course" Monica gently pushed his hair back.

Jack laid down and cuddled close to his mom holding his stuffed animal in his arms. "Goodnight Momma."

"Goodnight sweetheart" she gently kissed the top of his head and watched him fall asleep.

"You're good at that," Chandler mumbled, wrapping his arm around both of them.

Monica turned slightly to look at him "I didn't know you were awake. What am I good at exactly?"

"Well, lots of things...but I meant you're good at talking to them. His dream sounded scary."

Chandler gently kissed her shoulder. "It sounds like my worst nightmare…"

"Which part of it?" Monica asked, gently playing with Jack's hair.

Chandler paused thinking about his answer "losing you and the kids...I just can't imagine my life without you guys. Plus Jack going to Phoebe in that situation is a nightmare in itself" he chuckled to himself.

She smiled at his joke and shook her head. "You won't lose us. No one is going anywhere. I won't allow it."

"It kinda feels wrong to be together as a family without Erica" Chandler mumbled.

Monica chuckled, "Jack had a nightmare, it's not like we planned something without her."

"I just miss her," he shrugged.

"Of course you do"

Chandler was about to reply when their bedroom door opened again and Erica ran to Chandler's side of the bed. "I had a bad dream," she whispered, shaking his arm.

Chandler smiled at her timing before he rolled over to face her before picking her up and holding her. "Wanna tell me about it?"

"There was a big dinosaur and it was eating all the people in the world and then Uncle Ross made me pet it and it ate my hand off" Erica held her hands up to him.

He gently took her hands in his and inspected them. "Hmmm...it looks like they're both still there" he observed. "It was only a dream, but if it does happen what did we learn?"

"Never listen to Uncle Ross" she smiled laying on his chest.

Monica scolded hitting his shoulder "Chandler."

He chuckled holding Erica close "a dinosaur coming back isn't going to happen because they all passed away a long time ago. There's nothing to worry about."

Erica nodded cuddling into him more. "You're gonna protect me right Daddy?" she mumbled, already falling asleep in his embrace.

"Of course" Chandler kissed the top of her head and smiled at Monica. "Goodnight Erica." He smiled softly when his daughter mumbled in response falling asleep. He smiled softly at Monica and they exchanged their goodnights before falling back asleep himself.

Monica looked at her family huddled together in bed. She felt extremely lucky to have this. A husband that was happy to wake up in the middle of the night to help his kids. Wanting to include his daughter in their impromptu cuddle session. Two kids that are sweet and caring. She felt lucky to have these people in her life and even luckier that she knew she would never lose them.
