"Which shop do you want to go to first?" Monica looked around the mall as she walked with Jack and Erica close by.

"I want to go to the Lego store," Erica pointed.

Jack furrowed his eyebrows, "why?"

"Because I want the Batmobile legos," she pulled Monica's hand towards the Lego store making her and Jack follow her inside. "I want this" she smiled, picking up the Batmobile lego set box.

"A hundred dollars?" Monica looked at the price tag.

"Please Mommy," Erica pouted.

Monica shook her head slightly "you know pouting doesn't work on me. I don't think so sweetheart, this is a lot of money for a toy."

"It's not a toy Mom, it's a model that you get to put together yourself" Erica pointed at the box. "It includes two Minifigure seats in the detailed cockpit with a rotating display stand and decorative grappling hooks. Please I won't ask for anything ever again!"

She sighed in defeat "you sound just like your father" she mumbled. "Okay, fine. Jack, do you want anything?" Monica asked as she took the box from Erica and he shook his head no. She went to the checkout and bought the Batmobile as Erica jumped up and down next to her from excitement.

"Thank you, Mom!" Erica smiled when Monica handed the bag to her.

Erica was a miniature version of Chandler; it was hard to deny it. She loved video games and superheroes like her Dad did. Erica was also very animated like Chandler was. She'd bounce around the room and use her body to express herself. Monica noted that the biggest difference between them is, Erica is athletic. She loved playing soccer. She was like Monica in some ways. Erica loved getting new clothes and pampering herself with warm bubble baths. Erica was witty, smart, outgoing, a firecracker and Monica loved her for it.

"Can we do something I want to do now?" Jack complained.

Erica rolled her eyes "great, we can spend the day baking cookies and play with action figures."

Jack furrowed his eyebrows reaching over and hitting her on the shoulder. Erica grumbled and hit him back, making Jack shove her in response. A fight between them broke out as they started shoving each other and throwing insults back and forth. Monica grabbed Jack and Erica by their shirt collars and pulled them apart. "Erica, don't insult your brother. And Jack, don't hit your sister." Monica wasn't surprised when they started getting older, Erica liked wrestling with her brother. She often started the physical altercations by poking Jack's buttons until he snapped.

"She started it!"

"Did not!"

Monica sighed standing between them, "it doesn't matter who started it. I'm ending it. Jack, what would you like to do?"

"I want to go to Sur La Table and get a new cookbook."

Erica glanced at Jack before looking at her Mom "why is he like this?"

Monica ignored her comment "I like that idea." She knew Jack loved to bake and cook with her, it has become a hobby for him. When he wasn't cooking, Erica was right he loved playing with action figures. Jack also kept up with tennis because it was the only physical activity he enjoyed doing. Monica loved cooking with him and watching him play tennis with his Dad, even watching him playing with his toys was something she looked forward to. He was bright, talented, and creative, especially for a ten-year-old which is why she loved him.

Jack walked into the culinary shop looking at all of the kitchen tools with curiosity. He held his Mom's hand as they walked to the back where the books were. Jack saw a book with a picture of bread on it and he tried to reach for it. Monica smiled slightly, grabbing the book for him, "this one?"

"Momma, we don't have a bread book," he smiled.

She nodded in agreement looking at the back. "You're right we don't. I'll get you this one and then we can go to the toy store for both of you okay?"

They both nodded excitedly to get new toys. They followed their Mom to the checkout counter and waited as she purchased the book before they all left for the toy store. "You guys can get one toy." Monica walked with them through the aisles stopping occasionally when they were looking. Erica grabbed a horse toy and looked at it for a while then decided against it and put it back. Jack looked at a remote control car but ultimately decided on a Hulk action figure which created an argument between the twins about Hulk vs Batman.

"Hulk is the strongest one there is!" Jack argued.

"Batman has a utility belt," Erica shot back.

Monica stepped between them again as they continued to argue. "Each hero has their strengths," she said calmly. Out of all the things they argued over, this was the most common starting at their 6th birthday party. "Which toy do you want Erica?" she asked softly.

Erica walked down a few more aisles and ended up picking a barbie doll that wore a soccer uniform. "She looks like me" she giggled at the checkout.

When they arrived at home Erica ran over to her Dad who was sitting on the couch. "Look what I got" she showed him the barbie.

"Oh wow! She looks just like you" he smiled.

Erica got her Batmobile lego set out and showed him "I got this too!"

Chandler's jaw dropped, taking the box to look at it "Woah! We're doing this together, right?" he asked, looking at the back of it.

"Yeah!" she smiled excitedly.

Jack walked over to him climbing on the couch and showing his new Hulk action figure to him. "Look what I got."

"It's a Hulk! That's so great Jack" he smiled, taking it and moving his arms up and down. "Mom doesn't let me get any toys" he mumbled looking at Monica.

"I don't want toys taking over our room. If you want to put them in the kids' room then get as many toys as you want Babe"

"That's not the same," he sighed.

She chuckled, shaking her head at him, and went to the kitchen to make dinner. Jack followed her close by hoping to cook with her.
