Ryder took Chase to the Paw Patroller.
Madeline walked there and said:" The driver is alright. It was only a small fright. He is on the way to back home." Ryder said:" It's good then." Team ran there and keeped on asking about Chase. "What happened?" "Is he hurt?" Then Rubble asked:" How many germans could German Shepherd herd when German Shepherds could herd germans." Everyone looked at him. Ryder then said:" I will explain everything soon. I just need to find the place where to get water." "Follow me!" Drew said:" And you better take lots of it." Ryder followed her.
Marshall walked inside the Paw Patroller and saw Chase sleeping on his seat. Marshall whispered:" Chase?" Chase opened his eyes and asked:" What's up?" Marshall asked:" Are you alright? We all saw you in Ryder's arms unconscious." "I almost hurt Ryder!" Chase shouted and covered his eyes with his paws:" I growled at him and then jumped." Marshall gasped. Chase asked:" What's wrong with me? Why i want to hurt my family?" Marshall jumped beside his best friend and put his paw on brown pup's shoulder. "We'll figure this out," Marshall said:" Trust me. Everything will be alright." Chase uncovered his eyes and looked at Marshall. "You're right," Chase said:" I will go through this." "We will," Marshall cutted in:" You shouldn't be alone in this." "Thanks Marshall," Chase said as he put paws around Marshall. Marshall did the same. Suddenly Marshall yelped out from the pain and pushed himself out of Chase's grasp. Chase has been scratching his back! Chase gasped and keeped on saying:" Sorry!"
Ryder put water pottles in his backbag and turned to the pups. Skye asked:" Should we continue?" Ryder said:" I think that i should ask Chase about it. When he doesn't feel like going then we should..." "I'm coming,"Chase said as he walked there:" I try to control myself better. But just in case, stay away from me." Ryder said:" When you're sure. Marshall told me about the problem with... you know what." "What problem?" Drew asked. Rocky explained:" There is something magical in his blood." Drew asked quietly:" Is he the one who hurt your eye?" Rocky rolled his eyes and said:" It wasn't him."
When they went to hiking then Skye went closer to Chase and asked:" You alright?" Chase said:" I'm fine." "You don't seem very good," Skye said. Suddenly Chase snapped:" I said I'm fine!" Skye gasped and ran next Zuma. Chase then said after her:" Sorry, Skye! I didn't mean to." Zuma looked at Skye and asked:" Are you alright?" Skye nodded. "If i only know how to help Chase," Skye said quietly and looked at the ground.
Everest saw this and asked Marshall: "What's up with Chase?" Marshall said:" Of course, you don't know much." Then he explained everything he knew.
Soon they arrived at the camping site. Chase was the last to arrive. He wanted to be more distant from others to not hurt anyone. He sat down, far away from Marshall and Skye. "We need more fire wood," Madeline said. Chase said right away:" I'll go!" Ryder said:" Alright, but you need some help." Chase shook his head and said:" I can manage." "Alright," Ryder said little unsurely. But call us right away when something is happening." Chase nodded and left. Ryder lowered to the same level as Marshall and said:" Follow him. I have a feeling that something bad will happen." Marshall nodded and ran after Chase.
Chase took some dry branches and then something told him to turn around and jump. So he did. He heard a scream and saw that he was on Marshall! Chase backed away quickly and said repeately:" Sorry!" Marshall rose up and took slow steps behind. Chase saw that Marshall was very terrified. "You acted like real preditor," Marshall whispered:" I saw the killer in your eyes." Chase asked:" I couldn't have done that when you haven't followed me." "I was worried," Marshall said:" I mean we were worried. We need to help you get over it. And running off isn't what it's wise to do. What if you harm yourself too?" "That has already happened," Chase said:" I'm already harming myself by talking with the looks like you." Marshall gasped and looked sadly away. Chase then realized what he said. "I didn't mean to," Chase said. Marshall rose up and ran away.
Chase was left alone there.
