My new idealistic A Bugs Life fanfic!
Story takes place after The Bugs had kids ! It would be 2 weeks since Dash scene Dim! Which was 2 weeks after the event of Dash's Birthday Party !!
It was a beautiful day on ant island, The ant colony and The former Circus Bugs were all up and are at busy at work!! All accept for Dim, Since Rosie asked Dim to watch His younger Biological siblings, Since it was Weekend ! As Dim shyly volunteered to watch them ! Rosie was happy to That Dim would feel okay about watching Gina and Shadow too!
Meanwhile at Dash's School, Dash was in the high school facility getting ready for the event , As Dash helps One of her friends Daisy, With the banner which Shows South Tunnel Prom Night! As Dash replies! This will be fun ! Daisy replies! Oh yep ! Indeed Dash! Are you going to to it tonight! As Daisy replies, Yep I sure am I'm bringing One of the boys who I asked recently! Did you ask anyone! As Dash replies! I did try too but all the guys we're that interested of being with me !! As Daisy replies! Oh !! OWw! I have a thought what about asking that Rhino Beetle Dim, That boy you have been seeing! You can ask Him to the date tonight!
As Dash likes the thought! Dash replies! I can try to ask Dim , But I'm not sure if he will wanna go ! But it definitely doesn't hurt to ask Dim! I can ask Rosie first though! As Dash went to go leave for a second to find Rosie and Than Dim to find out if He would be Dash's prom date!!
As Rosie was working in one of the areas of Rosie was told by one of the ant Colony workers ( Which was outside near the Offering Stone ) if they can have her to where She holds an object in place while the other two ants put it together with Rosie's web ! While Rosie is doing that , Rosie thinks to herself to know if Dim is doing with watching Gina and Shadow! As A familiar female voice calls her , Hey Rosie! As Rosie reacts and Rosie turns around and to see Dash! As Rosie smiles and replies, Oh Dash honey hi what can I do for you Honey! As Dash replies! Well I was wondering ! So my high school is putting on prom date ! As Rosie replies, Oh that's awesome Honey !! Dash replies! Thanks ! So I ended up not having a date because all the guys had no Interest of going , But since I figured that since me and Dim have been actually been seeing each other more ! I figured I can ask Dim if he would want to be my prom date !
As Rosie thinks on it, Rosie likes the thought of the idea! Rosie replies! That sounds like a wonderful idea! Honey I'm not sure Dim will be comfortable but I think it sounds like a great idea to me Dash Honey ! Rosie actually spots Dim with Gina and Shadow, As Rosie points out and replies! There's Dim right there why don't you ask Dim! As Dash replies!! Oh okay Thank You Miss Rosie!! As Rosie replies!Oh Sure Thing No worries Honey !!
As Dash went to go ask Dim, As Rosie focuses on her work ! As Dash waves to Dim, Dim stares At Dash, Dim Shyly blushes red and smiles and waves at Dash! As Gina replies! Ohh look Dim it's your new girlfriend you should kiss her ! Shadow speaks in toddler words , Girl Friend ! Girl Friend!! As Dim was very quiet and Wasn't sure what even think or say! As Dash came up and she smiles and chuckled softly at the fact , As Dash replies! Hey there Gina , Shadow!! As Shadow in toddler tone who was much more talkative replies, Hello ! Hi ! Hi! As If Shadow was spinning around in circles around Dash! ! As Gina Shyly waves To Dash and Dash stayed next to Her Adoptive older brother Dim, replies Hello ! Dim Shyly nudged Gina lovingly with passion, Showing That Dash is Dim's New Female Crush that is the same age but only a year older than him! Dash is 18 and Dim is 17 , As Dash felt awwed that Dim is caring and loving Adoptive Big Brother to his younger Biological Sibling!!!
Hi Dim! Dash budded her eyelashes at Dim!! Dim Shyly blushes red and replies! Hi Lil Ant!! Dash replies! I was wondering if you would like to be my date for my prom Night at my high school!! As Dim shyly replies! Dim don't know what Prom night is! As Dash replies! Oh it's a special event that only happens around a certain season which is where a girls asks a boy out on a date to an entertaining event!! I wasn't very lucky with asking many of the guys in my high school don't find me fun to go with but Since me and you have been seeing each other! Maybe we can go to it together!! This could be like a second date !! Dim Shyly blushes and wasn't sure about it , Dim Shyly looks down as if Dim didn't want to say No, Dim shyly saw Dash was frowning sadly because Dash thought Dim would be like those guys ! But Than Dash smiles and realizes Dim is not like any of the other guys in her high school! Because the way Dash could now is that the Way Dim acts and talks , Dash can tell Dim is a special boy crush , Dash though of asking Dim if he would want to attend her high school, Since Dim would make it as A High School student, Since Dim is 17 and figured Dim would pass for A Sophomore or Junior, But Dash decides to tell Dim later once They are more comfortable with each other ( She adores and likes most about Dim is that Dim is super Shy and Timid and Adorable especially Dash the actual first date when they met at the Coffee shop a while back , Hearing Dim's laugh is cute as well!
As Dim Shyly but surely accepted the offer to go with Dash too her High School Prom date!
As Dash smiles at the same time Dash was very pleased that Dim wanted to go !! Dash replies! Thank You Dim your the best ! Dim Shyly replies, Your Welcome Lil Ant! Dash moves in closer and Dash hugs Dim! As Rosie saw from a distance of Dash hugging Dim ! Rosie smiles after seeing her shy adoptive son accepting Dash's invitation to go with her to the prom tonight! As Rosie after she gets done with doing her work she will get Dim ready for the event tonight!

As the day progresses and it was getting late , it was becoming Late Evening Like 6:00 pm , Rosie got off her shift early so she can get her adopted son Dim ready for the prom party , Who Dash invited too!
As meanwhile back at Dash's house , Dash is getting ready for the Prom Night, As Dash puts on her prom dress, Dash likes her new dress! As Dash's parents ( Dianna and Herald) came in they were smiling because how pretty there daughter is and That she's going to her third prom night since Dash's other prom dates weren't so lucky but this time will be different Dash has found a date that She will be going with! Dash is super excited that she will be going with Dim because Dash asked Dim about going with her! And that Dash did ended up telling Her parents ( Dianna and Herald) that She invited Dim to be her date! Both of her parents were pleased!!
As Dash's parents taking her photos and while Dash was getting ready , Rosie was getting Dim ready to go with Dash to the prom, Dim was Shy at the fact! Rosie reassures Dim by kissing Dim on his freckled horn and Dim shyly blushes!! Rosie puts a Tux Bow tie around Dim's neck! As Rosie did check the time , Rosie has Gina and Shadow get ready because they will we hanging out and spending the night as well with There Cousins, Flika, Richie !! Since Manny, Gypsy are taking Ramona and Lucas to there middle school function as well!! As Rosie replies, Okay Gina! Shadow! Get ready you two your gonna hangout with Your Cousins Flika and Richie today! Gina and Shadow replies in unison! Yay! Cousins ! As Gina and Shadow cheered and they got ready as well!
While Rosie helps Gina and Shadow get ready , Dim Shyly grabbed a Flower and plans to Shyly give the Flower to Dash, To show as a Thank You for inviting him! Moments went by , There was a knock on The door , As Rosie finished helping getting Gina and Shadow ready for there sleep over with there cousins! Rosie replies! Who is it! As The familiar female voice, It's us Rosie dear! As Rosie opens the door and there was Dash, Dianna and Herald with Dash in her beautiful prom dress her mom made for her!! Rosie invited them in !!! As The ants came in for a moment to also spare time for the event to start!!
As Hours went by it was time for the event, As Everyone left out of The house! Dianna and Herald told Dash to have fun, Rosie kisses Dim on his freckled horn , Lovingly and Dim shyly blushes red and Gina and Shadow did the same !! As Dash holds the flower bonnet that she has made into a wrist band and Dim shyly walks with Dash to the prom night!! Rosie replies! Stay with Dash , Dim!! Rosie waved to her adoptive son Dim to have a good time so did Gina and Shadow! As Requested was slightly concerned about if Dim is gonna do okay , As Dianna and Herald reassures Rosie that Dash will be staying with him for the event that way Dim will be okay!! As Rosie sighs in relief and Than Rosie goes to drop off Gina and Shadow at There cousins Flika and Richie's house than Rosie went out with Dash's parents for the evening!!
As There were party streamers all hanging the ant students with there dates welcome showing up to prom night !! As Dash and Dim were one of the last two to arrive at the facility! ! Dash gave the tickets to the Event Counciler who was in charge of the event!
And Dash goes right in Dim gets very Shy because there were a lot of , As Dash walks over to Dim, Dash reassures Dim in same way Rosie does by kissing Dim on his freckled horn, Dim shyly blushes red and smiles, Dash replies! It's okay Dim everything will be okay! I'll be with you for the entire event !! I promise will take slow if you want !! As Dim shyly nodded Yes in Agreement!! Dash has Dim just watch what's going on first , to show that there's nothing to be afraid of!! As All the ant students are dancing and having a good time , Some are talking , Laughing and hanging out with each other!! A few of Dash's friends waved such as Daisy and Reed! As they caught sight of Dash with Dim! Reed and Daisy were gesturing Dash to come in with Dim! Dim gets very Shy and hides behind Dash right when Reed and Daisy makes eye contact on Dash with Dim!!
Dash gives the wave off showing She' ll be right in in a moment and Reed and Daisy understands completely, As Reed and Daisy went to go enjoy themselves! Dash hears Dim whimpering like a puppy , Dash reassures Dim and Dash sees how Shy Dim is and She smiles and turns and replies, While Dash is comforting Dim , Dim ! It's okay Everything will be okay Dim!! There's a backside of it ! Want to just sit there and I can get us some drinks! As Dim Shyly but surely nodded in Agreement with Dash's plan!! As Dash gently leads Dim around the backroom of the party where there is less guests and to where the room will be more quieter for Dim!!
As Dash and Dim walks into the backroom to where it is quiet inside, As Dash replies! Here we go Dim is this room better for you!! Dim Shyly looks around the room and nodded in Agreement! As Dash smiles and leads Dim inside the room!! Dim Shyly was looking around, Dim has never been a actual event like this it is new for Dim !!
As Dash told Dim to stay in the room and she would be right back with there drinks and snacks , Dim shyly nodded in Agreement! As Dash left for a minute, She tells Dim that Dash would be in the room across the way because that's where the drinks are kept and She motions Dim to stay there! While Dash went to go get Hers and Dim's drinks !! Dim Shyly waits in the room while Dim is waiting for Dash to return!! As Dim Shyly looks around at the area and Dim saw something that was covered by a blanket, Dim Shyly moaning wondering if something was under there! And Dim shyly grabbed the blanket to pull what ever's covering the object and When the blanket came off , it turned out just to be mirror Dim got very nervous and hides behind the table of room! Moments later Dash came into the room and Saw Dim terrified because of the mirror that was in there !
As Dash realizes and Dash puts the stuff down , Dash reassures Dim that it was just a mirror and Dash gently holds Dim's freckled horn and Dim shyly blushes red, Dim feels Dash gently touching His horn ! Dim Shyly but surely examines the mirror and Dash smiles and Gives Dim his snack and drink while Dash is holding Her stuff in her hand !! Dim Shyly eating his snack and having his drink while Dim was having it slowly, Dash was daydreaming and wondering what Rosie was telling her before Her and Dim went to event ( Rosie was telling Dash that Dim doesn't dance either because due to his Shyness)
As if on cue , Dash's thoughts went away and Dash asked Dim about if he's ever dance , As If Dash was just curious!! Dim Shyly blushes red looks down and replies, Dim don't how to dance, Dim to Shy!!! Dash replies! It's okay Dim!! I definitely understand completely!! It was a just a curious question I would never put you in a spot that wouldn't be comfortable for you!!! Dash touched Dim's freckled horn gently and While Dash was talking with Dim!!
Some Ant Boy Teens were chatting with each other and walking out the back , As one recognizes Dash's voice, The other two were wondering why there friend stop and He shushed them while they Eavesdropping on Dash and Dim's Conversation , As One of the ant boy Teens was suspicious who Dash was talking to, As The ant boy teen who went by Acorn , ( Acorn was one of the First Guys she asked after She had asked Dim out ) Acorn walks in on Dash , Acorn replies! Dash what are you doing your on a date with A Rhino Beetle!! Dash reacts and she stood up , Dash replies, Acorn What are you doing here !! Acorn replies! I should be asking you the same thing!! Dash replies! For your information I'm on a date !! Acorn rudely replies!! Hah ! This looks more like talking to me!! Dash was getting annoyed with Acorn even Acorn's buddies were being obnoxious , Dim was Very Shy and soon realized that it was the same Ant Guy Teens who were at The Teenagers Lounge the other day when Dim and Dash were on there first date ( that harassed Gina ) Dim's Biological Little Sister) As One of the teens make a rude comment to Dash, Hey Millimeter why don't you run a Mile or so why don't you !!! Dash replies! You guys better cut it out right now Dim starts growling at the ant teenage guy bullies as if Dim was helping defend Dash because Dim knew who the bullies were !!!
Acorn saw Dim growling at Him and the other two teenaged ant guys !! The other ant teen replies! Ooh I'm so scared what are you and your boyfriend gonna do pummel us!! As Acorn and the other laughed sarcastically at Dash and Dim!!! As Acorn and His other friends decided to throw to water balloons at both of Dash and Dim, As They both got wet by the water balloons !!! As Dash and Dim froze still for a moment and Acorn and his friends took off and were rudely laughing at them!!
As Dash feels for a towel and she grabs it and dried her face off and Dash sighs in annoyance, Dash replies! Uhhh the nerve of those guys !! I'm sorry you had see all that Dim! Are you okay !! As Dash used the towel gently dryer off Dim's face , Dim opens his eyes realized Dash helped dry Dim's face off and Dim Shyly blushes red and smiles!! Dim Shyly replies, Dim is okay how about you Lil Ant !! Dash replies, Im okay Dim thanks for asking!! As Dash smiles of how sweet Dim is and Dash checks the time and Dash replies! Oh we should probably get back it's getting late !! Why don't we head back I'm pretty sure my mom and dad and Rosie back by now !
As Dash and Dim finished there snacks and drinks and left out and decided to hangout some where quietly so that way No one would bother them! To spare time for Dash's parents to return from there evening outing with Rosie!!

As it got late it was nighttime, As Everyone left the party and turned down for the night and Rosie, Dash's parents Dianna and Herald returned from there evening outing and Checked how Dash and Dim's date was , Dash told them it was wonderful, Dash explained that there was a slight situation but Her and Dim managed to take care of it !
As Dash's parents Dianna and Herald were pleased that there daughter did a great job of handling the situation, Rosie was pleased to That Dim was helping Dash , Dim Shyly chuckled characteristically , Rosie smiles and kisses Her Adopted Son Dim on his freckled horn and Dim shyly blushed red !! Rosie replies! I'm so proud of you Dim!! You did good of helping Dash deal with those obnoxious ant male teens !! Dim Shyly replies, Dim recognized them they were the same ones from the lounge that were harassing Gina !! Dim helped lil ant get rid of rude ants !!
As Dash's parents Dianna and Herald were pleased and very impressed that Dash and Dim knew who the obnoxious male ants were,
and Rosie was very impressed by how Dash and Dim actually knew as well!! As Rosie, Dash's parents Dianna and Herald were chatting with Dash and Dim for a while and Soon they bid each other Goodnight!!
Rosie thanked Dash for inviting Dim out , Dianna and Herald thanked Dim for going with Dash even though Dim doesn't go to her school! Dim Shyly blushes red and smiles!!
As They bid each other Goodnight and exchanged hugs and kisses!!
As Dash especially thanks Dim, Dash hugs Dim , Dim shyly blushes red and smiles and return the hug as well!! As Then Dash smiles and Kisses Dim on his freckled horn!! As The ant family and Rosie and Dim went to bed !
Dash was happy that Her and Dim had a wonderful date with each other and Dianna and Herald bid Dash Goodnight and Dash did the same ! Dash got into bed and fell fast asleep and smiles in her sleep!! Then Rosie and Dim were fast asleep too !

TaDa !! I Hope you like my new idealistic A Bugs Life fanfic!! I absolutely loved and enjoyed it too!! I liked how Dash invited Dim to her school prom , and Dash thought of the idea of for her and Dim to hangout in of the quieter places , Since Dim wasn't very comfortable of being a loud and packed Area where the other ant teens were, Dash is now my favorite A Bugs Life OC !!! Dash personally is very Caring, Passionate, and Has A Sister like Impression despite Dim is actually 17, and Has A Shy Personality but is caring big brother to Gina and Shadow ( Similar to Dim's Childlike Impression) When Dash helped Dried off Dim's face off when The Obnoxious Male Teen Ants !
