In Celeste5502's story of Alternate Reality: Circus, after the villain of the story, Ringmaster Yingya kidnaps Mokuba and turns him into one of his circus 'freaks', he retaliates when the group find him by turning him back to normal and nearly drowns him. Kaiba uses his powers to save him by giving him water magic before taking Yingya's powers and giving them to him as well. So now, thanks to that, Mokuba can breathe underwater and manipulate water. Also he can tap into Yingya's magic.

They're baaaaack

'I still can't believe she's here! This has to be a dream... but, here she is.' That was the thought running through Kaiba's mind as he strolled with Chelsea through the park, the rock star hanging onto his right arm with her head on his shoulder.

Never in his life did he think he would find himself on an impromptu date. The last few people that were set up for him were either gold diggers or cat fishers, hence why he sworn off dating altogether. Yet again, here he was. And to be honest.. he was starting to like it, as shown by the small smile crossing his lips. Seeing this, Chelsea would smile back at him and grip his arm a bit more tighter in affection.

"Never thought you would be on another date, eh Seto?" she would ask sweetly, to which Kaiba shook his head, admitting his thoughts.

"Whenever women try to date me, they either wanted me for either status or monetary values. So that's why I didn't date at all. The only things I wanted to focus on are my little brother and my company. And ever since this whole supernatural stuff started happening to us, that responsibility to my brother has been a lot higher," he says.

"But he has magic now, from what I heard, when you saved his life." Chelsea rubbed his back before continuing. "Spencer told me how adamant you were that the whole world of magic was nonsense. But doing that for your brother.. that was really admirable."

"Growing up in the world of business, you didn't have time for fairytales and magic. Gozaburo beat that into me when I was a child.." Kaiba looked away a bit, remembering the detestable old man of a so-called 'Father'. Seeing this, the rock star frowned in sympathy and held his hand, giving it a gentle squeeze. "I wanted to give Mokuba a future, that's why I suffered for him. Even when Gozaburo tried to drive us apart, he's been there at my side no matter what."

Taking out his Duel Monsters locket, he flicked it open and smiled one of those rare smiles as he saw the picture he always cared. "... I know I haven't been able to spend time with him in the past, but.. I guess this whole thing with these powers kind of gave us that back somewhat."

"You two have a really close bond to one another, kind of like you and your Blue Eyes White Dragon. You treasure them a lot," Chelsea said as they came to sit at a park bench.

Kaiba would nod before staring towards the growing evening sky, a thoughtful look in his eyes. "One day, I want to be able to see that all my work, all the pain I went through didn't go for nothing. I want Mokuba to be proud of me."

"But he is proud of you, Seto! He's proud of you for everything that you've done. He couldn't ask for a better brother, I know it. And you should be proud of yourself for how far you've come from where you started. You fought tooth and nail to get to where you are and you didn't do it alone," Chelsea spoke with sincerity, placing a hand on top of his.

The Blue Eyes wielder looked back at her, his eyes having softened somewhat and he would see her nod in assurance. He would nod back after a moment before speaking "You're right.. thanks for that, Chelsea." To get a thanks from Kaiba was another rare thing, indeed. But for Chelsea to get it so easily, it just confirmed that he was falling for her HARD. She found it rather sweet, actually.

"Anytime, Seto," she replied before pecking him on the cheek, earning another blush on his cheeks while his eyes widened a bit.

'Well, it's official, Seto. She's got you wrapped around her little finger; you first stuttered like an idiot when you first saw her. Now you're blushing even more! Goodness sake...'

From a distance, Mokuba had silently followed his brother from the warehouse, wondering how this was going to end. To his happiness, the two were getting along. Heck, his brother was smiling the entire time, something that he had missed ever since he was young.

You missed this, didn't you young one? The young boy nearly jumped in surprise upon hearing that familiar voice in his dreams. Before he could ask, Leviathan chuckled a bit. When you found that piece of me, my essence latched onto you. That power boost you felt earlier came from you unknowingly tapping into my strength.

'I'm sorry! I hope I didn't-' He started to apologize but Leviathan cut him off with another chuckle.

It's alright, little Kaiba. You are not harming me in any way when you did that. As for before you... Mokuba's focus shifted back to his brother and his date.. and his grin widened into a beam when he saw the two kissing once more, their lips claiming each other. You wanted this for a long time for your brother. For him to find his true happiness. He has suffered through the years, creating a future for the both of you. I can tell you missed seeing him smile.

Mokuba nodded as a tear slid down his cheek. 'For the longest time, all I wanted was to see Seto smile again. Just like back when we were in the orphanage. So yeah.. I did miss seeing this. And I'm glad I got to see it again. Better yet, I'm glad that big brother's found a reason to do so once more,' he mentally replied.

As he made to leave... a blast of red magic nearly clipped him, creating a minor explosion in the ground where it struck. That also got Kaiba and CJ's attention as Susiros would be floating above them, a devious smirk on her face. "Hellooooo, lovebirds! Did ya miss lil' ol' me?" She snarked as her right hand glowed with magic.

"You again!?" Kaiba growled, hands sparking with lightning.

"I heard through the grapevine that a young magic user was born and was wondering around here. And look what I stumble upon but Kaiba Jr.! This must be my lucky day!" Susiros laughed as she landed on the ground.

"Back off, hag! You don't want to mess with me!" Mokuba snapped with a glare as he shifted into a battle stance. He heard all about this witch from the tales that Yugi and his pals told. She and Resheph were bad news all around. And where she went, the other was not far behind.

Susiros's grin dropped at the word 'hag', eye twitching and teeth gritted. "What. Did. You. Call. Me. Runt?!" she hissed, hands clenched into fists.

"You heard me! I called you a hag! Yugi and the others told me of you! You're nothing but an ugly witch!" Mokuba smirked, riling up the woman further.

"Okay, you little brat! I'LL SHOW YOU WHO'S THE HAG HERE!" With that, Susiros fired off another ball of magic, in which the boy threw up a water shield to deflect it.

"CJ, stay back! We'll handle her!" Kaiba barked before calling upon his Blue Eyes essence and joining his sibling in the fight. Or.. he was going to if he didn't get blasted away by another dark ball of magic, courtesy of Resheph.

"Deed you forgeet about moi, Monsieur Kaiba?" he would jeer as Susiros flew to his side.

"Of course you would be flying around here.. twice the pride, double the fall, as one saying goes," Kaiba growled as Mokuba hurried over.

"CJ, go find the others and tell them what's going on! Hurry!" the little one yelled over his shoulder, earning him a nod before she disappeared in a shower of sparks. He would then turn back to the two. "Let's do this, Seto!"

Nodding, the dragon hybrid flapped his wings and engaged in a dog fight with Resheph, sparks of magic soaring all over the place while Susiros took on Mokuba. As the two fought on the ground, slinging magic at each other, the witch was surprised that such a young boy was able to keep up with her. This gave way to the saying 'Big things come in small packages'. She was not far from the truth however... Firing off another ball of dark magic at the young boy, Mokuba tapped into Yingya's old magic and placed up an invisible glass barrier, making the attack bounce off.

"You little brat!" She made to fly at him to tackle him to the ground...

WHAM! Face first into the glass, making Mokuba bark out a laugh, watching the witch's face get smushed.

She would peel herself off the glass and snarl, her eyes blazing with rage. "You little brat! That's the last time you're going to make a fool of me!" She yelled before starting to throw a flurry of dark magic at Mokuba, who quickly placed up a shield of water to protect himself. But he began grunting with effort as he felt it being pummeled heavily. "Hahahahaha! Who's laughing now, Kaiba Jr.!?"

Resheph would be sent smacking into the ground after being shot by a blast of White Lightning. He then spotted his brother being bombarded by Susiros and went in to help, but was cut off by a ray of dark power from the male as he slowly got up.

"Ah... em not done yeet, Monsieur Kaiba!" he panted, despite the bruising and cuts he had on his body.

"Gimme a break!" Kaiba growled as he turned to face him again... only for a blast of green magic to snipe Resheph and sending him crashing further away. Yugi and the others had arrived, Joey having been the one to fire the blast.

"Kaiba, you alright?!" Yami called to him as they ran over.

"Don't worry about me. Help my brother!" Kaiba shook his head before pointing to his brother, only for Susiros to suddenly be heard screaming. The others would whip around.. and their eyes would go wide as saucers, especially the dragon hybrid.

Mokuba was holding Susiros in a watery tendril like an anaconda would its prey. But something was different; his eyes would be glowing a bright blue and peculiar markings would be seen trailing along his hand and seen glowing beneath his sleeve. The lines would trail up his neck and part of the right side of his face, leaving intricate markings of some sort. When he spoke, his voice was joined by another.

Susiros, you and your partner have caused harm to these humans and have threatened my vessel. This, I will not allow any longer of you. I shall see to it that you get your fitting punishment!

"De heck is happenin' ta Mokuba?!" Joey exclaimed.

"It's like he's possessed or something!" Tea cried out in shock.

"It cannot be..!" Yuri gasped, recognizing those markings on the young boy's arm and face. He had not seen those markings in years. The last time he saw them was when..

Spencer was the one to voice the confirmation. "He's back. The King of the Seas has returned.. and he's found his vessel to see his will done. Leviathan has awaken once again."
