Spoilers: Obey Me Lesson 1
"Welcome to the Devildom!" a warm and jovial voice rang throughout the room. Looking around it looked like she was in some sort of courtroom? She guessed. Looking back towards the voice her eyes widened slightly. The man smiled brightly, arms spread wide but his stature was enormous, even compared to Veil who was above average height herself. 'Wait I was just…' she turned away briefly thinking to herself, 'I… didn't… I.' Nothing made sense, blinking to quickly shut down her surprised expression. This time she noticed there were actually a lot of people in this room.
"I'm sure this is a surprise to you but everything will be made clear soon!" the auburn haired man boasted confidently as he made his way towards the dark haired woman. Veil braced herself but stood her ground, she had no idea where this was going or what these strange men wanted from her. "First let me introduce myself. My name is Diavolo, I am both the crown prince of the Devildom as well as the head of the student council here," he held out his large hand. Rose hued eyes narrowed slightly looking down and the xxx colored hand before her then up at the man's golden eyes. He seemed friendly despite his stature. So she took his hand, and he shook it heartily.
When he released her hand she pulled it back to her chest, what an insane amount of strength was he on steroids or something? She rubbed her hand as another tall man stepped forward. This one was less imposing visually but more threatening based on his aura and the look in his blood red eyes. She raised a slender brow at the man with the threatening aura.
Diavolo seemed to catch the shifted focus of the girls before him "Ah yes, this is my right hand man and best friend Lucifer." His tone remained jovial. Veil couldn't help her lips from curving slightly as she held back a laugh, 'What was this some nerdy role playing event. Pfft who the hell would call themselves Lucifer…'
Lucifer raised a brow and the odd human female before him, despite his usually commanding presence it seemed this human found him amusing, interesting. Diavolo continued with his explanation of the Devildom and his odd school program.
"pfft… man this is a really odd dream" Veil mused mostly to herself.
A slender butler-esk man appeared to Diavolo's left. "Ahh I can understand the confusion but this is in fact not a dream Veil. I actually brought you here myself."
"Uh-huh, this…" the raven haired woman motioned with an arm, " being the 'Devildom'." She crossed her arms over her chest, "So what is this supposed to be like some fantasy hell or underworld or whatever?" Her tone is a bit mocking.
"It seems you lack understanding of your position, human." The threatening man 'Lucifer' stepped forward towards her.
"Man seriously what so you guys are like demons or something? What a weird role playing game. Listen buddy…" she put a hand up to stop the man approaching her and it touched his chest. "Oh right Lucifer…" she snickered a bit but continued, "I'm not really into nerdy whatever it is that y'all have going on here." She heard someone grumble what she thought was 'stupid human normie'. Yup these are definitely nerds.
"I will have you know that I am Lucifer the avatar of Pride, and you will show me the respect I am due." Lucifer almost growled at her before Diavolo slid between them.
Veil just shrugged heading toward a balcony. Hopefully she could assess where she was. She peered over seeing a foreign looking landscape and her eyes widened and mouth hung slightly slack. 'Wait…' "What in the hell…" her thought continued out loud.
"Devildom actually." A soft voice calmly spoke into her ear and she jumped back to see the slender aqua haired man right beside her. "How?" She said softly.
"It seems you finally get it." Lucifer spat condescendingly.
Veil narrowed her eyes at Lucifer, demon or no she felt in her bones that she was gonna have issues with this man.
A loud cough came from Diavolo. He continued on with his explanation, "So we have two representatives from the celestial realm and two from the human realm. You of course are one of our humans." He clapped her shoulders and she winced slightly, this man's strength was ridiculous.
"Wait… Celestial realm like Heaven… You mean God? And Angels?" Veil looked almost terrified.
"Correct!" Diavolo chuckled, 'what a peculiar human this was definitely going to be interesting.'
Lucifer cleared his throat, " So continuing on let me introduce you to my brothers." Veil looked over at the man then beyond to the gathering of men behind him, 'they sure didn't resemble each other much for brother, maybe that's a demon thing…' she thought to herself.
The overbearing demon hands the woman a device that looks somewhat like a cellphone, "This is a D.D.D." he says matter-of-factly. Looking down at it she raises an eyebrow. He proceeds to explain it is similar to a cell phone and drones on in detail at length as she turns it over and then flicks it on investigating the handheld device in her hand.
