It was fascinating. We didn't know that the created needed to be invited in. My people were not folly to such a thing. So when Stefan came to me with a house lease of the boardinghouse on Caroline's idea I was shocked to say the least.

"You mean that your kind don't have to be invited into a humans home?" Stefan asked. I shook my head as I grabbed the lease and pen from his hand.

"No. Though it is polite to wait to be invited into someone's home but we could go in if we so pleased." After signing the documents Stefan screamed in agony.

I watched amazed when he vamp sped outside where he left the front door open. I gave him a moment to catch his breath as he was huffing and healing from burns that caused from him not being invited in.

Damon was the first to come back. After going to the hidden abandoned house and the story behind it they were trying to open the fourth one that was spelled to remain shut. I tried my best to give suggestions but it was hard with the listening witches that were buried there during the Salem witch trails.

Finally understanding why I couldn't say much Damon and the others came back to the boardinghouse. I gave my old spell book that I used that was a textbook of sorts that was taught when I was little so far Bonnie and I haven't found anything they could use to open the forth coffin.

Damon demanded to know why I couldn't figure it and had to explain to him that witches although stole our spell books could bend the spells to their own use to better use the spell themselves. He stood quite after that.

Damon watched with narrow eyes when he saw Stefan on the ground gasping for breath. He vamp sped trying to get to me but an invisible barrier stopped him from setting a foot inside. He groaned in anger as he turned towards his brother.

"Really Stefan?" Damon angrily went beside him glaring at him all the while. Stefan was unaffected by his brother and it was clear he was used to his brother ill manners.

"Yes Damon the house is under her name. Caroline suggested it and it was a good idea." Stefan said leaving no room to argue.

Damon scoffed and held his out in surrender. They looked at me as if waiting I was confused before I realized they were waiting to be invited into to their own home.

"Oh! Please come in?" I asked unsure if all this invited nonsense is true. Slowly and wearily Damon and Stefan stepped through the doorframe sighs of relief coming from them both.

"Amazing! I never seen much less heard of this. You created do have it bad" I mumbled as I looked trying to find or see the barrier that held the unwanted out.

"I'll tell you what's amazing that your kind don't know everything like you thought you did" Damon said sarcasticly I gave him a look and rolled my eyes at him.

"Very funny Damon though we been around a long time we don't know everything. What's on the agenda today boys?" I asked Damon sighed as I and Stefan followed him into the kitchen.

"The agenda old princess of olde is the same. You and Bonnie find a way to open the forth coffin. Why Klaus carries around his siblings in coffins is beyond me but whatever is closed in that coffin obviously is a threat to him why else seal it closed?"

"Do other people find you funny Damon?" I asked him in a teasing way Stefan chuckled and shook his head at us.

"It will take time for you to get used to Damon's humor"

"I bet. Okay so I will continue to look at my grandfather's journal and see if I can find anything. What will you guys be doing?" I asked them wondering what they will do.

Damon stepped in front of me glass in hand. A fake pout on his handsome features. "You little bird just need to stay inside while the adults handle this" Damon tapped my nose which I swatted away.

Damon chuckled. It was strange indeed I had been here less then two days and already Stefan and Damon felt like brothers to her they reminded her so much of her actual brother it almost made her look for him but I was stuck on house arrest.

"Fine but can't I at least go outside the backyard its getting rather stuffy in here" I pleaded with my best puppy dog eyes I looked at Stefan who almost agreed had Damon not got in the way.

"Nice try Rapunzel but as of late Klaus has been keeping a closer eye on all of us. We can't take that chance" Damon scolded me like a child. His nickname for me was either princess or Rapunzel.

My long black hair was pulled into a single braid with a white bow on top. My black leggings with a sliver design going up each thigh and a white shirt with a sleeveless black jacket with my family's house necklace. It was a black rose caught in a Ravens mouth and it hung loosely on my chest. My earrings were heart shaped and were black.

"Stefan please. I have been very good and the only time I went out was to go to the abandon house."

Stefan sighed and Damon shook his head. Okay I know I was only here less then two days but already I was getting stir crazy. It wasn't as if the house itself was small it was very big but I wasn't meant to be cooped up. I didn't want to stay inside when there is a town I never been and wanted to see.

"Can you disguise yourself like you did when we are at the house" Stefan asked. Damon glared at his brother not believing what he was asking.

I smiled big excitement overflowing with going outside the house walls. "Yes! And if should anything goes wrong I will speed back to the house"

"Stefan who is going to watch her? I have to go over the house and deal with dead witches and you have to act like you been here like you never left or Klaus will get suspicious"

"Relax Damon I will watch her from a distance. If anything they will think she is a tourist and she will be human Klaus won't suspect anything"

"I can't believe this. If she gets hurt or worse found by Klaus I won't be responsible for what her family does to you"

"Damon nothing will happen to Stefan Daddy wouldn't hurt him I promise to be careful." It was to late Damon had already vamp sped out the house to do whatever Damon does.

Stefan sighed before he looked at me with a smile. I did feel bad Damon was just worried about his brother but I was right my father wouldn't do anything to hurt Stefan. I would make sure of it. "I will leave first. Wait twenty minutes after I leave to go out in case Klaus has one of his hybrids following me."

I nodded agreeing with him. I haven't asked yet about Klaus's hybrids and made a mental note to ask once we got back from our little outing. When he vamp sped away I went up stairs to cast my disguise. Every vampire of old can do it just a quick potion and pop your human well smelling like one anyways.

We were taught it when we were old enough in age and the dark ages before I was born my brother had to do this spell potion often to go out and not fear of any humans staking him. After waiting I walked out not using my vamp speed really did suck.

I wasn't able to get around fast like I would have normally. Shaking my head I smiled there was no reason to be in the dumps I had a town to see!

Damon could see that the girl was changing his brother. It worried him greatly knowing the girl will never be his. Yes he could see that Stefan was falling in love with Julie. Though it gave him a chance to be with Elena he couldn't help but worry about his little brother.

He liked Julie he really did but in order for them to be together Klaus had to be six feet under. He will make sure Klaus met his end so Stefan and Julie had a shot it was a selfish thing to do on one part as he wanted Elena and with Stefan out of the way he can be with her and the other just wanted to see his brother happy .

He had to walk to not draw attention to himself in case Klaus's hybrids were around so when he was knocked down he knew who it was before he spoke.

"Hello Damon."

Damon glared at Klaus who smirked at him. Getting up from the ground and dusting himself off from nonexistent dirt he turned towards the hybrid.

"You know there's this thing called a cell phone" He told him but with Klaus he didn't take his humor well and kicked him in the stomach.

He leaned down so he was right next to his ear while Damon catched his breath. Damon noticed he had a stake in one hand twirling it as if deciding if he wanted to finish the job.

"See Damon as fun as this is. I didn't come for friendly chitchat."

"And here I thought we were best friends" Damon knew he shouldn't provoke Klaus but he couldn't help it the guy was a dick.

Klaus used the stake and staked him in the back. Damon screamed in pain as he tried to remove the wood in his back but Klaus had snapped the bigger part so only some else had to dig in his back to get it out.

"Enough Damon. I heard a certain someone is around and I plan on finding her. It will be best for you and your friends to hand her over to me"

Damon knew he was sniffing around like the dog he was but he shouldn't have known that Julie was here. They should at least had a few months at most. Bonnie made sure she was hidden from other witches. He could only think that someone must have told him.

"I have no idea what your talking about." Damon grunted out in pain. He could feel his own blood pouring out from his back. Klaus eyes turned gold. His anger spiking it wasn't long before he was knocked down himself.

Damon saw Caroline who vamp sped to his rescue. She walked over to him and yanked the piece of stake from his back. He shouted in pain and relief when it was finally out. Klaus stood already glaring at them both. Damon's arm around Caroline's shoulder as she supported him.

"Caroline maybe you should tell your friends what you told me"

Damon looked confused as he looked at Caroline who glared back at Klaus not backing down. It dawned on Damon what Klaus was saying.

"You told him" he hissed at him. Caroline didn't bother to look at him her glare still focused on Klaus. Klaus didn't move to attack them yet so he knew he needed to get answers while he still could.

"Oh she more then told Damon. Isn't that right sweetheart?"

"Stop it Klaus'' Caroline growled at him but he smirked and put his hands in the air to show he didn't care. Caroline was tensed he could see it in her stance and how her arm tightened around me.

"Afraid of the big bad wolf darling? Even when you screamed my name?" Klaus taunted Caroline didn't bother with answer but Damon supplied it for her.

"You slept with him"

Caroline avoided his eyes confirming his suspicion. Damon knew she had a thing for the hybrid and Klaus looked as if he had a thing for Caroline that was why she agreed to any plan in their previous attempt to get rid of said hybrid. Now it was clear that Klaus had used Caroline in hopes to get information out of them. As always Klaus was two steps ahead of them.

"I thought I was his mate" Caroline whispered her voice shaking and breaking. Damon could see the pain in her eyes and knew what she was going through he once wore that face but now wasn't the time.

Caroline gave one last teary glare at Klaus who didn't care and let them get away. Caroline helped them get back to the boardinghouse but she was knocked back out unable to get in. She scowl at the invisible barrier and Damon now liked the said barrier. Giving her a hard look before he left towards the basement to grab a blood bag to regain his strength before he flipped open his phone to call Stefan who answered on the first ring.

"Damon"

"Get Julie and come back to the boardinghouse...Klaus knows she's here"

He heard his brother curse and the line cut off. Things were about to get interesting. When he went back to see if Caroline was still at the front door she was gone. Damon cursed and vamp sped to find her
