The small town of mystic falls was beautiful. So far I had been into two book shops purchased at least ten books and an old antique shop. Everyone was super friendly it reminded her of home. The residents asked where I was from and she lied saying she was from Cleveland. I didn't want to take the chance of telling them where I came from originally.

However soon after I got hungry and though my kind could survive on human food we still needed blood to sustain ourselves. With a heavy heart I compelled the antique shop owner. The establishment was empty due to a lot of the town's people were either at school or work. The thing about our bite it gives off waves of pleasure.

The bite gives off endorphins that give humans a high better then the common drug. I drank from her wrist and she threw her head back and moaned. Her blood was a bit bitter as she was in her late forties. But it was enough to fill me until I made it back to the boardinghouse. When I was done I compelled her to forget what happened and left a couple hundred dollars bills on the counter.

After exiting the shop I was still adjusting to the blood I drank. It was warm as it flowed through my veins and since I was disguised as a human and the spell potion made it longer for me to sense any coming threat. When I was pulled roughly behind an alley I cursed in mind knowing I should have listened to Stefan.

In front of was Caroline. Her fangs bared and eyes bleeding red. My own eyes darkened I could feel the potion wearing off it will do so if I were in this kind of situation and needed my strength to fight. My worries were correct when it came to the newly formed created she shook me hard and the potion couldn't wear off faster.

"YOU TOOK THE LOVE OF MY LIFE FROM ME!" She screamed making my ears hurt. Her hands took a fitsfull of my shirt as she screamed and shook me. I glared at her buying my time until the potion wore off completely.

"I did no such thing. I wasn't aware you had mate so to accuse me of such a disgrace is disrespectful." I spoke calmly which only infuriated the blonde before me.

"You think you can come here out of the blue and steal Klaus from me?! Why is it always someone else but me?! What is wrong with me that he couldn't see me?!" Caroline voice hissed I didn't bother to answer her as she continued.

"It was always Elena or Bonnie but never me. They got the boys I wanted and I was more pretty then they were. Klaus is mine it should have been me as his mate but no it's you!"

"And that is why you are not. A soulmate is the opposite of the person they are bound to. Where you are pity and selfish I am not. I am not perfect I make mistakes. You say things about your friends that make me think they deserve better friendship then the one you give. Besides a soulmate bound isn't made by choice it is fated"

Caroline moved as if to stake me but I grabbed her hand and twisted. She screamed in pain and the potion was nearly gone. Giving her a quick forceful kick I ran to go back to the boardinghouse. Wondering where the hell Stefan was at he said he will be close so why hasn't he seen what happened.

Cursing once again about my stupidity of not listening. Caroline was once again facing me. I growled at her and she took at step back and let out a small gasp. Knowing my eyes had darkened to only my blue irises.

"He will love me again once your gone. You can't scare me"

Her heartbeat said differently. She moved as if to take my heart quickly I grabbed her arm and twisted and with a quick and forceful kick she flew to the ground hitting the opposite wall with a hard thud. I took off running my powers weren't at their fullest yet and if Stefan wasn't around it was up to me to get to safety.

I would look for Stefan once my powers were restored and kill anyone who gets in my way to find him. Caroline had recovered and vamp sped behind me knocking us down with her on top of me.

"Get off me!" I yelled something I never felt before came out of me like my anger had transfered into a weapon making Caroline scream. I got up to see what had happened. Caroline looked as if to be on fire. But no flames were to be seen.

Suddenly her screams stopped. A man in a dark blue suit had snapped her neck making the blonde fall unconscious to the ground. I was still in shock of what happened to Caroline that I failed to notice the man step closer to me. I knew it was me that did it and I couldn't help but feel guilt for what I did even if she was trying to kill me.

"Are you alright?" The man asked me watching me rather worriedly. I shook my head snapping myself out of the shock I felt and stepped back from the man in the suit.

"I...um..tha..thank you yes I'm fine. Who are you?''

"I'm Elijah. You don't need to tell me your name yet sadly we don't have time Stefan will be here soon"

"...Elijah?...the seven! Stefan! What have you done to hi"

My neck was snapped and darkness filled my being. I really should have listened.

The next time I opened my eyes I was in a lavishly decorated room. It's tan walls with cream curtains and carpet. A flat screen hung from the end of the bed underneath was a medium sized drawer white with flowers on the side.

Slowly getting up and pulling the covers back my feet had hit the soft floor. My clothes had been changed as well making me blush red. I was in a light tan dress that almost looked white it was the perfect color that matched my pale skin tone.

I felt my ears hoping whoever changed my clothing left my earrings on. I was relieved when I felt the cold metal and moved to the rooms door. My hand pausing on the door handle. One of the seven had caught me and if I were to open the door will I fight the one who kidnapped me? The other coffins were still safely hidden which gave me some relief.

My hesitation was long and the door opened to reveal the man from Stefan's memories. My breathe shook as I looked deep into those blue pools that were his eyes. His structure look to be as if he worked out daily the black tee he wore fit perfectly on his body. I was frozen by his beauty that I didn't push his hand away when it cupped my cheek.

"I been looking for you ever since I broke the curse" he whispered as he leaned closer to me. I moved my head back slightly to stop his lips touching mine.

"Curse?" I asked breathlessly. He chuckled softy as he pulled me to the bed. My fear skyrocketed I wasn't ready for the mating bound not with my people's killer especially. Looking at my face he sighed and sat down by the rooms small table I haven't seen till now.

"I supposed you don't know the full story love. When our mother changed us into vampires I was born with the werewolf gene my first kill activated the curse and mother had sealed that part of me. I worked endlessly to break it and when I did I felt you so pure and innocent. I am only sorry I found you in the most inconvenient time with my family stolen and all"

I kept my distance from him. I wanted to whack my head to clear the fog that my mind was in. Of course I knew about his curse father told me about. I had to swallow the lump in my throat before I could speak.

"I am sorry for what Esther did. Truly I am but you must let me go. I do not wish to mate you."

His eyes flashed gold and he pushed me down on the bed roughly his body on top of mine making me ache with need I hadn't felt before. His fangs bared I fought against his hold anything to stop him. But he was far stronger and noticed that something held my power back. I screamed in pain when his fangs bit into the small arch that was between my shoulder and neck. I felt him suck my blood with every pull I couldn't hold back the moans that escaped me.

It felt longer then it was and soon he bit into his wrist forcing his blood into my mouth. When he let go I pushed him off me he let me push him off! I coughed and held hugged myself keeping my tears at bay. "What have done to me?!" I asked breakingly.

"Something I won't regret darling. I started the mating ritual I won't let any other have you. Your mine"

My eyes widen I shook my head back and forth. I felt the floor beneath me shake roughly. I looked at him with eyes filled with panic and tears. I couldn't hear what he said just watched his lips move. I couldn't hear over the ringing that consumed me.

"I AM NOT YOURS! YOU KILLED MY PEOPLE! MY FAMILY I WON'T EVE-"

Klaus moved with his vamp sped I couldn't stop him. Whatever was happening was shaking my vision and my body. Klaus grabbed my face with his hands his eyes filled with regret he kissed my lips quickly that I didn't have a chance to pull away when he snapped my neck.

Klaus caught her slumped body. He hated to hurt his mate she couldn't see her powers starting to shake his home and if he didn't do something soon she would have hurt herself in her grief. Yes he did kill some of her people only because they refused to give her to him.

Couldn't they see she needed him as well as he did? A soulmate shouldn't be gone from their mates side. They will lose themselves to insanity. Klaus looked down at the woman in his arms. Her black head covering his shoulder like a black curtain. He felt whole with her in his arms. Picking her up bridal style he rearranged her on the bed. She looked like an angel her black hair and the setting sun from the cream curtains gave her an angelic glow.

Pushing her hair gently to the side to reveal her mating mark. A small crescent moon was starting to form. He smiled as he looked down at his modern day sleeping beauty. She was finally his and once she's finally accept her alpha then all that was hers will be his. He just had to make more hybrids to keep watch over her he had a feeling she will be a handful.

Elijah watched his brother and the girl from the doorway. He never seen his brother be gentle with anyone or anything. The girl was indeed a beauty he could see the fire in her blue eyes when she tried to fight him. He felt slightly bad about snapping her neck but if this girl can save his brother then there was hope for their family yet.

Stepping aside after he noticed Klaus get in bed with his mate he vamp sped to the boardinghouse where he knew the group of friends where planning on how to get the girl back. Rebekah will be informed later he had business elsewhere.

Before he got there he heard the yelling of the brother's he knew they found out about him taking the girl. He was about to go in to announce his arrival but there was a barrier holding him from entering. What a smart bunch he thought it was the older brother who came to greet him.

"Where is she?" He growled. Elijah simply fixed his cufflinks even though they were fine. A habit he was formed over the centuries.

"Where she belongs. I advise you to not try to take the girl. It will be a shame if all your planning goes to waste. Niklaus will be guarding the girl and I am sure she will be beside herself to see you dead''

"Her family doesn't her near your brother oh honorable one."

Elijah was about to retort when the youngest Salvator made his entrance. He looked ready to kill and ready to start a war. He stood just behind the barrier something he needed to look into.

"You are about to start a war Elijah. Her people will want her back they know Klaus isn't right for her. He did after kill many of them to get to her."

"Then we will be ready. Tell me Stefan if Niklaus is wrong for the girl why will the fates put them together?" With that said he vamp sped away

Stefan watched him go and Damon threw the nearest thing against the wall. He wanted to do the same thing but he needed to keep a calm head. He went to Julie's room to find anything that can help them get her back to the safety of the boardinghouse. He looked in drawers her textbooks he didn't find a damn thing.

He must have been making very loud noises if his brother didn't yell over it for him to notice. "What are you doing?!"

"There has to be something in here to help her Damon! Anything!" He yelled back he saw her bag a large bag that was silver. He yanked it up going through it.

The smell of roses and raindrops were stronger from the bag her scent was fading from the room she stayed in only made Stefan look harder. Inside were trinkets and bottled herbs a small notebook and another black book. Something called out to him and Stefan opened it inside where blank pages the pages so white it almost felt like it blinded him.

"Stefan there's nothing here to help us" Stefan looked up to see Bonnie. Her face showed concern over his well being. She still held Julie's grandfather journal she hasn't let go of the thing since she got it.

Looking back at the blank pages he put two and two together. Getting up from the floor he went over to the witch. Who looked worried for him. "The vial of blood do you still have it?" He asked her. Bonnie's eyes narrowed in confusion and Stefan almost lost his patience.

Bonnie grabbed the vial from her coat pocket and Stefan grabbed it and poured one drop of Julie's blood into the first page. Her blood smelled sweeter then her scent like a well grown strawberry. It made his mouth water.

Red lettering had magically formed on the page he didn't think it was her writing.

My daughter if you dropped your blood into the book then what I feared has happened. Inside is the contact information you will need to get to Daniel. He is hidden in a place called New Orleans with a different name. If Stefan had figured it out what this book holds then I was right to behold him the title of your bodyguard. Daniel will be the one you will to fight back I only hope it never comes down to it. Use the name Nightingale those around him will know what it means

"What does it say?" Damon asked Stefan looked to his brother and Bonnie. He knew what he had to do but couldn't leave them defenseless.

"Klaus is still needing to make hybrids get Elena and the others back here to keep them safe."

"Where will you be going?" Bonnie asked already texting their friends. Damon had called Bonnie and told them what had occurred and what Caroline had done. To say they were angry didn't quite fit.

She couldn't be found no matter where they looked. A small earthquake was felt around Klaus's estate which could only be Julie and why Klaus hasn't had the time to take Elena or terrorize the rest of them.

" New Orleans. We're about to go to war."
