To say he was livid, would be an understatement. They had known. All of them had known and no one chose to tell him. He barged into the Hokage's chamber demanding answers. Tsunade had been expecting this for a while but had been surprised when it took so long…

"I have a child!" He raged "Sakura Haruno gave brith to my child! Why did no one tell me this? Why didn't you tell me? Or Naruto!" Sasuke was so angry "Was this the reason I was not charged?"

After he had ranted and raved for about 5 minutes Tsunade had enough. She rubbed her temples and the screamed "Shut up and Sit down Uchiha!" Sasuke grudgingly pulled a chair and sat in it glaring daggers at the Hokage " Let me make some things perfect clear…. First off, you are an exceptional Shinobi, I trust you and Naruto trusts you. One day when Naruto becomes Hokage, he will need you by his side, if people learn to respect you before that, it would be better. That is why I asked you to stay and that is why I made you commander of the police force….. As for the other matter…. Some things are meant to be discussed between only the two people they concern, even a Hokage or a Mentor's interference might be rude… I would however like to say, she never told me or anyone who the father is, however when his eyes awakened last year, there was no room left for doubt….. I would caution you against a direct approach, she is very possessive of him" Tsunade finished

Taking the verbal Cue and still wanting to just run and scream, Sasuke left. As he wandered from rooftop to rooftop everything started to make sense. This is how Sakura had gotten inside the Susano, she'd been exposed to Uchiha Chakra for 9 months. This is what he had been missing. He didn't even realise that his subconscious had led him to her door. As he stood outside the house, he had no idea what he wanted to do. For almost 5 mins he was standing there numb until the door opened with a "I'm going out Okasaan… " and a boy of about 6 years bumped into him.

Daisuke fell back and looked up angrily at the person stating in front of him until his eye fell on the badge. His face blanched and he began to stammer "I… What… are you do… doing… I mean… can I help you sir?"

Sasuke went down on one knee so that he was eye to eye with the little boy. Daisuke had managed to find his legs and his courage. As Sasuke looked at him he whispered to him…"Listen Mr. Captain, I'll cut you a deal… you leave my friends out of this and I will do whatever punishment you give me but please… I am begging you please" he implored "… don't tell okasaan, she will kill me and pull me out of the academy… I'm a lot more afraid of her than I am of you…"

Sasuke raised one eyebrow delicately as a small smile formed on his face. He just continued to stare at Daisuke. He wanted to memorise each detail of his sons face. The first words his son uttered to him were like drops of water on his parched soul. Daisuke completely unaware of this man's emotional turmoil continued "So what do you say? 50 rounds of the training ground or do you want me to help out in some chores in the village, community service…"

Both of them were completely unaware of the fact that Daisuke had left the door open. The moment Sakura stepped out of her room she saw her son and his father in the porch talking. She stormed up to the front door angrily and pulled Diasuke behind her protectively as she glared at Sasuke. He stood up, she was still shorter than him, but if looks could kill, Sauske would be dead 5 times over.

"How could you not tell me?" was all he managed to whisper

In response Sakura turned to Daisuke and said, "Stay away from this man. He is a cop and cops only come after people who do bad things. Have you been up to bad things? " Daisuke knew his mum well enough to know when she meant business and right now, she was threatening to blow this house down. He managed a gulp and a "No Okasan."

"Good…" She said "No run along and find Boruto, you both better by back in an hour with the groceries list or else no more help with Genin exam training…"

With a hasty and relieved "Hai!" Daisuke took off…

Saukra waited until Daisuke was earshot, then she look at Sauske and said

"I looked for 2 years to tell you. I would leave my newborn child in the care of Hinata and roam the lands looking for his father because he shouldn't have had to grow up without one. But guess what I discovered, he's better off without a selfish, self centred, self important and entitled asshole… and all it took me was 5mins in eternity to find out… Stay away from my son… The captain of the police force is not needed when a few kids pull a prank from ages ago inspired by the Hokage to be"

She spun around and was about to walk in when Sasuke grabbed her by the wrist, spun her back, pulled her to him and kissed her.

Kissing sakura was all he remembered when he woke up in the hospital. Neji was sitting by his side and his face was hurting like hell.

"Wha.. happen… ?" Sasuke managed realising he could barely speak as everything hurt…

"She broke you face and cracked you cheek bone with a slap. You blacked out, I brought you here and she's forbidden anyone from using chakra to heal you…" Neji said

"She can do thaa… I need heal now…" He protested…

Neji smiled "she can and she did… After you blew up in Tsunade's office, I followed you. I've known you to be many things Sasuke, but stupid is not one of them…Kissing Sakura… that was stupid…" Neji said, then added "brave… bold even… but stupid…"

Sasuke sulked and felt his bandaged and swollen face….

Naruto was in splits. He had tears falling form his eyes laughing as he visited Sasuke in the hospital. By then all the friends and colleagues had heard how the amazing Commander of the Konoha Police force had ended up in the hospital.

"Oh teme!" He said between laughing "I wish I had been there to see it!"

Sasuke glared at him

"Are you sure it's the best thing… I mean he is the commander of the Police Force… he will have to get back to work…" Hinata was helping Sakura prepare some Sakura mochi for the festival.

"I think it was the best decision you ever made…" Ino said slapping the dough with a vengeance

"He is his son too you know…" Hinata said

"Just cause he donated his sperm, doesn't make him a father… hell Kakashi, Naruto and Neji have been better father figures to Daisuke more than anyone else…" Ino said

Sakura was busy hitting the dough with Ino and taking all her rage out on it

"Enough sak, enough it's done…." Ino said but Sakura just kept going "Get out of your head Forehead!" Ino screamed that caught Sakura's attention she stopped and handed the dough to Hinata so that they could start the filling and sealing.

"One year, one whole he's been back and he never knew… one whole year he's been back and all he did was watch from afar… he didn't even bother to come over, greet me or even speak to me at all… one whole year and suddenly he's outside my house, talking to my son and then kissing me! What gives him the right!" Sakura snapped

"One whole year he's been back and you never went to him either…" Hinata said "You practically left Diasuke with me for 6 months looking for him… I thought now that he's back you might actually tell him…"

"Oh please Hina! It's a good thing Sak, no point telling him… I mean what kind of asshole disappears… doesn't even leave a note… after everything you did for him… that was shit… I think you did the right thing…" Ino said firmly

Diasuke knew something had happened. He knew his mother was upset, he had heard she put the Commander of the Police in the hospital and refused to heal him. He was worried, he didn't know if all this was his fault and once the commander got better, he might actually tell Oka san everything and throw him in Jail….

So the day after the 'slap-incident', he bunked the practical class at the academy to sneak into the hospital.

"Daisuke! What are you doing here young man?" A nurse asked him. Everyone knew him especially since his mother practically ran the hospital. He had accompanied Sakura here as a child till he had joined the academy. Unless of-course he was with Boruto and his twin Himawari.

"Aaah! No nothing, I just wanted to surprise mum! So please don't tell her I'm here okay bye!" He said running off in the direction of Saskue's room that he had discovered on the chart

Sasuke was throwing shuriken at a target in front of him. He was stuck in a hospital gown and a drip with pain medication. He was pissed but he had been given strict orders to stay in the hospital for 3 days. With one day left to go, he thought best not to fight with Sakura at all.

He wasn't expecting anyone so when the door opened, he was pleasantly surprised to see Daisuke there.

"Commander?" Diasuke said tentatively approaching the bed and then cringed at the sight of Saskuke's swollen face "It's me Daisuke… Can you see me?" He asked with concern

"Ah, I can… I still have one good eye…" Sasuke said pointing to his left eye.

Daisuke went close and then sat on the bed "I'm sorry about Okasaan…" he said "She is nice but she can have a short temper…" he said "But please don't throw her in jail okay… or me… cause I'm a kid and while I love spending time at Boruto's house it's the spring festival and the whole Hyuga clan kinda hates me… so… "

Sasuke's eyes were soft and numb as he heard his son ramble on… Clearly he got that from his mother. Diasuke went on to tell him how sorry he was for defacing Hokage mountain and all his other pranks. Sasuke was just thinking how he sounded just like him when he was younger and how even though his hair was pink, it still stood out in weird angles like his did. He saw how gesticulated a lot as he spoke, that was definitely Sakura. His eyes were jet black without the Sharingan but they sparkled like Sakura's. Daisuke had long finished his apology and gone on to tell him about how he got amazing grades and how they called him a genius…

"And the day my eyes turned red for the first time was when Oka San was about to drop the knife on her foot… Something happened I just saw it and ran and grabbed it… Oka san saw my eyes and hugged me and cried… she told me I was special… I have the Sharingan did you know? Do you know what I can do with it? I can see every move everyone makes and Naruto Oji chan…"

Sausage burst out laughing at that but stopped quickly as it hurt. The thought of Naruto being called Oji Chan was just too much… As he groaned lightly in pain Diasuke jumped out of bed and ran out to get help. He stepped out and ran right into his mother!

"Oof! " Daisuke said falling

"Daisuke?! What are you doing here?! " Sakura shock quickly turned to anger "You are supposed to be at the academy!"

"Oka san! Sorry! Please, I think I broke you patient.. please…" Daisuke said trying to deflect his mother's anger on a more real problem. He dragged her in by hand and brought her in front of Sasuke. Sasuke looked at Sakura and she looked back at them.

"Oka San, the commander is in pain… why don't you fix him quickly… I've already told him you are amazing… he will not put you in jail…" Daisuke whispered to his mother

Sasuke looked at Sakura and Diasuke interact and something pulled on his heart. Sakura had crouched down to be at eye level with their son.

"Don't worry my love, he won't put me in jail… and I will not be healing him… he will be healed only after 3 days… I have plenty of important surgeries and I can't afford to waste chakra on such minor injuries… besides, he was naughty and this is his punishment…" Sakura said eyes flashing angrily at Sasuke

"You can't punish the commander of the police oka san!"

"Yes I can and yes I did… Now, would you like to chose your punishment or should I recommend something?" She asked seriously

"Err…. No punishment needed because we had a free period and you know how much I miss you Oka san… I just wanted to see you, but then I saw the commander in pain and thought I'd help him out… I will get going now… I'll go back to the academy and you can come pick me up at 4…" He hugged his mother and Sakura smiled at the witty, naughty boy she was raising…

Sasuke couldn't help but think, he get's the sweet talking from his uncle Itachi…

Diasuke ran out before Sakura could change her mind. Sakura turned to leave but Sasuke caught her hand, gently this time, as if asking for permission.

She didn't turn instead said "I can break all the bones in your body and refuse to heal you…"

Sasuke stood up and was right behind her. She could feel his breath on her head "I'm sorry" he said "I'm so sorry…"

Tears of rage prickled her eyes. She turned around, he hands glowing green. He flicked and waited for the shot that never came. Sakura's hands hovered over his face. Within seconds he was back to normal. She leaned over and pulled his chart from the bed and signed on it "Congratulation commander, you are discharged, get out…" She spun on her heel and walked away
