Her feet thudded against the cracked cobblestone as fast as they could carry her, following the growing bustle of noise and dodging the various hardened boots and dainty flats as she wedged herself between the multitudes of Darrow and Dams alike. Muttering curses under her breath and shouting apologies to the shoulders she ran into as her cloak traveled behind her. A heavy pack slamming into her frame with the various steps. Catching her deep green hood with a clinched fist as the wind tried to reveal her plaits and features.

Attempting to calm her breathing as her chest heaved in protest. Paying no mind to the merchants yelling to try their goods or the hustle of the markets in general as she only had eyes for one spot within the area, a last resort. Though perhaps not the best idea, as she came quite literally crashing into someone's back that stood in her path.

Gripping her head in surprise at how hard she had smacked into them, and the burning from her face scrapping into the iron of their braid beads.
her eyes widened as the dwarf turned to face her, becoming lost within the depths of the ocean in the deep blue-green that swam amongst his eyes, the sharp cut of his features and the blond mustache that swayed with braids tied to beads on the end. He quickly snapped his mouth shut and masked it with brows furrowed in what she assumed was confusion, his eyes wandering her face as if he's seen her somewhere before and simply couldn't place it, though he'd know if he had in the past.

Without knowing what to do with herself, her eyes darted to the two men he was speaking with prior to their tiny collision. Green eyes turned to worry as she noticed the decoration upon them. Multiples of beads hidden amongst their hair, jewels on their bruised fists and shining blades glinting from their hips. With a groan inwardly she became lost in her thoughts. of all things, she did not have time to deal with this. Nobles, with any sure sign.

Most she had crossed paths with outside of her well-knit circle were well known to be critical, conceded creatures, but the thoughts immediately paused as she could practically hear her fathers elderly voice rang in her ears to 'not assume everyone's the same'
She flinched only slightly, wincing as his hand came down to rest on her shoulder and steady her, much to her surprise. His ocean holding gaze only spoke of concern and confusion, along with something he or she would hardly be able to place just yet. Very relieved he wasn't one of the harsher nobles, that would have been very time consuming trying to calm his ire.
His touch left an odd heat to graze her shoulder and shout through her being that she quickly dismissed. "Are you alright, milady?" She had only just heard him over the loud marketplace and he bent down to further see her features beneath her hood. First and foremost finding surprise within bright green eyes, the brightest one might find only within a preciously rare stone, masked by two thinly braided bits of dark locks on either side of her head, framing a lovely face by all means but his eyes widened only slightly in alarm as he noticed the small cut freshly grazed under her eye, as the blood was only just making its way to it. Growing up as a Dwarven warrior one would definitely recognize a cut from a bead when they saw one. Catching some themselves as they sparred with one another. he had to will himself not to reach out to it, make sure it was okay as it had likely been from his lack of awareness as he stopped to chat with his kin. He quickly blinked away his thoughts as her gaze flickered to the floor, squaring her shoulders as if she's about to go to war.
"Y-yes milord, I do apologize!" Her gaze littered the floor below his feet in embarrassment.
"It's no bother, I assure you." He tilted his head in confusion, clearly letting his thoughts consume himself. Questioning if it would be improper to have Oin check such a small cut, or perhaps see to it himself with some supplies his mother is sure to have laying about.

His silence, however, strayed her all the more. Perhaps he was waiting for her to take her leave? Why did she not feel like hurrying off with all the embarrassment crashing into someone was sure to entail. Her eyes wandered the stalls around them and the bustling dwarves as she tried to gather her bearings. Oh, that's right! "Well I best be on my way!" She darted around him, continuing to push the crowd.
"W-wait—" She could have swore his hand ghosted on the skin of her wrist as she ran through the people but quickly dismissed it. Now was no time to focus on weird feelings and random handsome nobles.
The Darrow could only sigh, he hadn't meant to scare her off. Looking in the direction she ran as he noticed the group of people around. Clutching and unclenching his fist that held her shoulder as if to will the tingling to stop.

"Fili, you alright?" His friend said to deaf ears as he watched the back of his stiffen in decision before he followed after the one in the hood.

"..Make way please!" She hurriedly pushed through the growing crowd as they whispered nonsense and shouted encouragements to the ongoing slams and grunts.
As she wedged past the last few dwarves, she sought the clearing and the exact cause of the ruckus. An annoyed groan escaping her throat as to her dismay, the chuckling guards she walked past just moments ago talking about 'another pesky tavern tussle' had her feelings been right. There before her, stood three Darrow and one more, on his knees in front of them. All of her previous worries and thoughts escaping her conscious as anger took its hold on the forefront of her mind.
"Hey morons!" She yelled out, running towards the oncoming fist and gripped it with as much strength she could muster after running from the outer walls of Erebor. "That's my brother." She hisses out. Twisting the Darrow's arm and bringing it behind his back. With one hand still holding her sheathed blade she decided, though her first instinct was to wonder if she couldn't simply smack them with it, she quickly dismissed the thought to make use in other ways, with his back now facing her she brought her knees down to meet the back of his. He groaned in irritation as he fell to his knees, facing the wide eyed duo who had their daggers drawn but now frozen in front of them. "And you lot better have been using those things to help cut the ropes off him." She sighed in annoyance, dropping his arm and kicking his back for good measure. His face landing on the stone in front of one of their boots as she turned to her kin with a raised eyebrow, a hand on her hip as she waited for an explanation.
"Now, if you wish to enlighten me as to why in Durins name you are tied up in the first place?!" Her brothers eyes widened flicking from her to the group behind her, making her even more confused. His mouth opening and closing as if to get some form of word out.

"Watch out!" A deep voice, that she noted, was definitely not her brothers, shouted in a hurry. Her hood falling off as she whipped around with widened eyes. Only to find the back of a taller dwarf and well groomed blond hair. The very same back that she had ran into moments before.

She blinked only a moment before collecting herself from the shock. Side stepping to take in the man before her, only her eyes immediately caught the glim off of the metal dagger the man held in place between his palms just inches from his chest, point facing him. She gasped, turning her eyes to the dwarves facing the her and the unknown man in now surprise. She understood darrows and their stubborn bar fights but to be willing to take someone's life? That was far more serious than she thought it was.
"Y-your—milord!" One of the gasped in fear. She turned with a raised brow to the blond beside her. Why does he look so familiar though? Perhaps she'd seen him in the dining hall.
"M-milady!" The same man gasped once again, only just now seeming to take in the woman who he had apparently thrown a dagger at. He visibly seemed to pale as his eyes darted between the two. "I-I hasn't known otherwise I would have—would hav—" the poor lad couldn't seem to catch his own breath before falling backwards from where he stood. Seeming as their appearance was too much for him to take in. She sighed, perhaps he shouldn't be going around throwing daggers at everyone. Sharing a mutual look with the blonde, she nodded in appreciation for his looking out. To which he returned for only a moment, his eyes quickly darting back to, ironically, glare daggers into the men in front of him. Guards rushing from the crowds to apprehend them, much to her surprise. As they hadn't seemed to blink at the obvious fight beforehand. Quickly dismissing it as the blonde left her side to speak to the guards she turned to her brother who now held a smug grin.

"Fancy seeing you here, namadith." He seemed to find his voice as chuckled out. As if he weren't currently on his knees with a blackened eye, busted lip and his hands tied together.
"Explanation now, or I will leave you here." She warned, raising her brow all the more. Far too tired, and far too hungry to deal with her brothers shenanigans once again.
"Just thought it was a lovely day for a stroll." He tried. "You're back early."
She huffed, putting her swords sheath back into place on her belt and made to leave the now dispersing crowd.
"I'm going to the dining hall."
"Okay! Okay, wait."
She paused in movement, but not turning around.
"Bomburs was closed so I went to another tavern and perhaps fell asleep."
"Oh?" She turned, crouching to his level, "that's likely, Sir Bomburs missus would never let her costumers get out of hand like this. What did they want this time?" She pointed with her thumb to the knocked out man now being quite literally dragged away by the guard.

"It was nothing, really. The usual namadith. Can you untie me? This'll leave quite the mark." He held out his hands. A goofy smirk on display. The usual, huh. She thought those had stopped. Sighing, She slid her glance to the blonde man she just now noticed to be crouched in the same position beside her. Taking in his appearance in question to why he looks so familiar. Fair blonde hair shining in the light with half of it held up with a leather band. She wanted to eye his braids for any indication as to why she knew his face but they were tightly held back. His dark blue tunic was fairly soaked and his face held a shine that clearly spoke of great effort fairly recently, perhaps she knew him from the training grounds?
Bright warm blue eyes went from analyzing her brother to meet her gaze. He mimicked her brothers smirk and shrugged. As if her questioning look was asking what he thought on the matter of untying her brother. She held in a laugh, rolling her eyes. "Sweet Mahal help him." She sighed, flicking her dagger from her bracer and throwing it at the gap between her brothers hands as she turned to walk away with a final huff. His brown eyes widened to saucers as he and the man from beside where his sister had been; blinked at the dagger and now broken rope before sharing a disbelieving look.

"Coming or not?" She yelled to behind her. He grabbed her dagger before bolting after her, the other Darrow right on his heels.

"I can't believe you just threw a dagger at me! Your own flesh and blood!"

"One bit to any side would have hurt for sure, I can't believe she didn't miss." The blonde piped up in amazement. Sizing up the many weapons he just came to notice on her bodice. Various daggers he could spot as handles peeked from small areas, only a trained eye of course, could see them. Quite easy for him though being as he did the very same when he went out. Along with the sword on her hip, quiver full of dark green feathered arrows on the other and dark wood bow sling over her shoulder. He was impressed to say the least.

"Or did I?" She flares playfully at the taller Darrows. Her brother mocking hurt with a grab to his brown leather vest. she snorted in a laugh, turning back to the front of her to hide her laughter. The other man however, didn't care to hide his. Which caught her attention. "Who are you, anyway?" She turned to eye the new face.

He huffed playfully. "Now, is that anyway to thank your savior?"
"I had it sorted." She rolled her eyes as she dodged two young Darrowling's chasing each other. A small smile making its way to her face at the sight. Instantly brightening her features. Something the blonde didn't miss, much to his delight. Her brother giving them a hearty pat on the back as they grinned up at him, simply passing through. "Why, of course milady. I didn't know that you had planned for that bas—" she sent him a glare as she redirected a very young dam past the group as she had been trying to catch up with the other children. "B-bandages to throw a knife at you."

"Bandages, really?" The brother gave a disappointed look. The blonde returned it with a glare, "shut up."

He was right, of course. But something about Dwarven pride just didn't let someone oust you on your mistakes so easily. "I could have dodged it." She fixed her posture in pride as she sled out from the markets to the outer passageways.

"Right, of course. Because it wasn't definitely about to embed itself into your shoulder blade." He huffed, mumbling a small 'excuse me' to an elder Darrow who crossed paths with him, the elder pat his back good naturely. And said something that they had became just out of earshot to hear. The blue eyed man smiled before jogging to catch up to the siblings.

"I could have blocked it." She continued as if she hadn't missed a beat.
"Sure, very likely of course. With your back turned and all I'm sure you planned it." He drawled out.
She turned to eye him. "why are you following us anyway?" The brother pausing as if he just realized that as well.

He shrugged. "Dining hall doesn't sound too bad right now. And if I may, I wish to tend to that cut I had seemingly caused."

A finger of hers subconsciously grazed over the small cut on her cheek. Poking her tongue to the inside of her mouth she hesitantly nodded, turning on her heels to continue.
"You two know each other?"
"Yes-"
"-no." They replied simultaneously. Blinking at each other oddly. The flaming red haired brother glancing between the two with a brow raised. He dismissed the odd duo and shrugged, "how'd you get a hit on her anyway? She's always careful during training." The blond corked a brow. "Is she now?"
"I wasn't paying attention."
"That's a first, what had you out of focus?"
"You." She huffed. His mouth formed an 'o' and he embarrassedly rubbed his shoulder. The golden man smirking at her knowingly.
"Training?" The blond repeated. She only rolled her eyes.

"It's none of your business, master dwarf."

The walk was fairly peaceful, aside from the few comments now and again between the men following her. They seemed to get along as though they hadn't just met, let alone likely don't even know each other's names. She mused to herself with a small smile. Her eyes roaming the various gold vains hidden within the wall of the mountain. The same color bouncing from the torch lights. Ironically, somehow made her mind wander to the stranger behind her with his very own bits of gold mane.

"Now that I think about it, when did you get back, namadith?" Her brother piped up, a tad bit louder then necessary. She was about to reply when the new voice perked up. "Back from where?"

"That's none of your concern, master dwarf—"
"—Oh mahal!" He roughly whispered grabbed the darrrowdams wrist backwards and pushing her brothers shoulder out of the walkway and into the next corridor.
"W-what are you do-"
"My apologies, but there were a few faces I'd prefer to avoid making their way down the hall." He huffed out, peeking to see if they'd gone just yet before quickly backtracking with his finger to his lips. She paused her breathing as footsteps where heard along with various voices; few high pitched, few richer in tone but both all very obviously women.

She tried to hide the laughter very obviously bubbling in her throat. "You mean to tell me, master dwarf that you are hiding from a few albeit lovely suitors?"
He glared at her in turn. Eyeing her with annoyance and something else hidden far from her eyes. He shifted awkwardly as he came to realize that he had dropped her beside the corner of the wall, as he leaned his arm near her head to peek out, far too close but somehow he hadn't moved. They were hiding, that's all.

"They are not my suitors, they simply wish to be."
"And you have no interest? I'm sure they are of fine birth."
"I do not marry just to marry, they are not my One." He huffed, glaring at his boots as he took in the smaller ones between his, covered in mud and, blood? He blinked in surprise bringing his gaze only to catch her soft ones as they stared into nothingness just beside them. A look of understanding sweeping her features as she nodded gently. "Sorry." She whispered, looking guilty for saying such a thing. Her brother sighed next to them as he rubbed his neck.

"Tough one laddie. It's always a bother when people don't take a hint, yeah?" He glanced at his lightly blushing sister with a look of sympathy. Clearly the blonde was missing a good piece of information on the dam so very close to him. Were those stricks of brown always so bright within her eyes? "Anyhow they have probably gone, let's go."
She shifted her feet, adjusting her pack before shoving his chest away from her. Her brother shrugging at her mood change and rushing after her.
