A/N: Okay, I'm still working on that long one-shot, it's taking forever, so I'm writing other one-shots in between working on it. Just because it's taking so damn long, I will put my review responses on this story.

Sunset: Thank you! I highly appreciate your review and glad you enjoyed them! As for Jimmy going crazy without being able to tinker with stuff, no worries there. *Wink* I plan to elaborate on what he has done in the follow-up one-shot.

Guest: Huh, that's not a bad idea to be honest. I'll have to think on how to write that conversation between them.

Katia11: Thank you for the reviews! I figured someone would get a kick out of llama romance films, ha ha.

The J.A.M. a.k.a. Numbuh i: Thanks for the reviews! Sorry I was a bit short with you last time, your comment came off a bit condescending to me at the time, and that just gets under my skin. As for Morse code... I think I could come up with a scenario where they use that at some point.

ROCuevas: Thank you! Appreciate it!

This one takes place during the season 4 finale that I like to imagine. This isn't the entire finale, just a small portion of it, and as such I cut out a good bit of it and ends on a fluffy note.

The original show finale for season 4 was them facing off against The League of Villains once more, so I made up my own version of how it would have played out.

Oh, I do have a follow-up to Passing Notes planned, by the way.

Story 4: The League of Villains Returns: Excerpt

Jimmy frowned as he tapped his fingers rhythmically against the tabletop, glancing at his watch once more to check the time. He sighed in irritation, leaned back in the booth seat and crossed his arms with a small scoff.

One hour, his friends and girlfriend were supposed to meet him at the Candy Bar one hour ago to indulge in a frozen, sugary treat before heading up to an asteroid that was passing near Earth's orbit to play a game of baseball.

Why not play one on Earth, you ask? Well, this was to make it more interesting. Enough said. 'Plus,' the boy genius thought with a smile, 'Cindy wanted a new way to try and kick my butt in sports.'

They almost never argued over anything anymore, with a small few exceptions, but most of their competitiveness that they used to indulge in in the classroom turned into friendly sports competitions. Or, other endeavors, he thought with a small blush.

Jimmy could acknowledge it, his girlfriend was definitely more athletically inclined than he would ever be, but that did not stop him from trying his hardest to defeat her, even if he never did. Oh, how his pride had taken a beating these past few months. It was worth it though, he would admit.

"Are you just gonna sit there or order something?" The sound of Sam's voice broke Jimmy from his thoughts. He looked up at the old proprietor of his favorite hangout place, noting his disgruntled face.

"My friends were supposed to meet me here, but they haven't shown," Jimmy explained, feeling irritated all over again, though he could feel something was... off about them not showing up. They never ghosted him like this unless something happened to them.

"Ooooh, they didn't show up? I don't care! Either order something or get out! Yeah!" Letting out a deep sigh, Jimmy decided to just order a small cone for now. He was hungry, after all, and the cone would tide him over for a while.

He ate and paid for his ice cream and sat there for fifteen more minutes before deciding that something was seriously wrong with his friends and left the Candy Bar in haste.

"I have a really bad feeling about this," he mumbled to himself as he started up his hovercar to begin his trek home. Ten minutes later he landed outside his clubhouse and quickly made his way inside his lab.

"Goddard!" The call from his master woke the robotic dog from his nap, and he gave a whine in question. "I think something happened to Cindy and the others, they never showed up for our rendezvous at the Candy Bar."

"Ar?" Goddard asked as he watched a frantic Jimmy pace back in forth.

"I know I may be overreacting, but after everything we've dealt with over the past year, I think I have a right to be paranoid," he said, and Goddard nodded in agreement. "Vox, initiate Protocol B.F.G.F."

Protocol B.F.G.F. was an emergency location scanning system he had created not too long ago to track his friends and family in the event of an emergency. It could track their whereabouts at any point across the globe at any given time.

He may or may not have inserted tracking chips into them without their knowledge, but he would never divulge that information.

"Initiating." The cool voice of Vox rang out, pulling up the world map on his computer screen. Jimmy studied the map and the labeled dots that indicated where everyone he had chi-, er, not chipped were. He saw himself, Goddard, his parents, and the parents of his friends' all in Retroville.

But no Cindy, Libby, Carl, or Sheen anywhere.

"Oh, this isn't good, boy," Jimmy said with no small amount of worry. Suddenly, a thought occurred to him. "Duh! Cindy's watch! I can contact her through it," he stated as he pulled up his own watch and began dialing his girlfriend's number.

He had given her a watch that was very much a replica of his own as a present not too long ago, though it had a slightly different design to it. Well, a completely different design to it actually; the watch looked more like a normal watch on the outside until it was activated and opened. He had declared it one of his masterpieces of engineering and design as it had not been easy to create at all.

Jimmy still remembered the ecstatic look she had when he gave it to her, and the very enthusiastic hug and kiss he received afterward.

That was a good day.

After dialing her number, he waited as it rang once, and then abruptly hung up.

"What in the...?" He was now in full-blown panic mode at this point. A few seconds later, though, his watch rang with the sound of a message notification, and Jimmy hurriedly pulled it up.

'-Jimmy! I'm sorry I hung up, but I couldn't let them know I had a way to contact you!-'

'Them? Who is them?' Jimmy thought with worry and sent a reply back asking what she meant.

'-The League of Villains, of course! They kidnapped me, Libby, Carl, and Sheen on our way to meet you at the Candy Bar. We're being held prisoner on a Yolkian ship somewhere near the edge of the solar system.

Hurry and get us out of here before I kill Strych! He hasn't shut up once since we got here!-'

What? The League of Villains? How? He quickly replied asking about them, though chuckling a bit of the thought of Cindy killing Eustace Strych for annoying her.

'-I don't know, they didn't explain anything to us. All I know is that Meldar is a part of them now.

Sorry, gotta go, someone's coming.-'

Meldar? Meldar Prime? Oh, this was not good.

A sudden and righteous fury enveloped him. How dare they kidnap his friends and girlfriend? Kidnapping him was one thing, but they would dare to touch the ones he loved and cared about?

"Oh they are going down!" Jimmy growled angrily through clenched teeth and with tightly clenched fists, scaring Goddard. He had not seen his master this angry in quite some time, and Jimmy was positively terrifying when he was furious.

"Come on, Goddard, we have plans to make and allies to gather," he snarled out before stomping his way over to his computer, his faithful companion reluctantly following him.

Earlier

"I am so ready to kick Jimmy's butt in asteroid baseball," Cindy said eagerly as she, Libby, Carl, and Sheen walked towards town, carrying baseball equipment.

They would have all met up in front of Jimmy's house, but he had been at school tutoring some kids who were struggling in math for about an hour, but that was another story for a different day.

"Don't you think you've beaten him enough, girl? What more could you get out of it?" Libby asked, genuinely curious.

"Yeah, his man's pride has been shot down enough!" Sheen piped in.

"Oh please, he brings this on himself. He's the one who keeps suggesting we do these inane sports games," Cindy responded with a snort.

"But, wasn't this one your idea?" Carl chimed in nervously. Cindy waved a dismissive hand.

"Not the point. The point is- hey wait a minute, what's that?" She asked, pointing up at the sky. The other three looked up to where their blond friend was pointing at and gasped.

It was an enormous Yolkian warship descending towards them.

The four of them could barely utter another word before they were sucked up into the ship with a green-colored tractor beam, their sudden screams cut off as the ship rocketed out of the atmosphere at top speed.

A little while later, they woke up groaning, clutching their heads.

"Ow, my scapula," Carl whimpered, clutching both his back and head.

"My head hurts," Libby whined, holding the sides of her head in both hands.

"I haven't felt this much pain in my head since my grandma kicked me that one time for messing up her foot scrub," Sheen replied, causing the other three to look at him in horror. "Just pretend I didn't say that."

Cindy sat up with a groan and glanced around at their surroundings.

"Looks like we're in some kind of cell. Perfect, just perfect! Could this get any worse?"

"Hello, children," a greasy-sounding voice called out, and all four turned to look at the owner, gasping in shock.

"Yep, it can get worse," Sheen said.

"Goobot?!" Libby exclaimed, her mouth opened in surprise.

"KING Goobot! KING! When will you people get it right?!" He exclaimed, putting a hand to this shell and shaking his whole body side to side in exasperation.

"What the heck do you want? And how did you get out of the Cretaceous era?" Cindy demanded as she stood to her feet, glaring at the Yolkian with loathing.

"Oh, I think I can answer that," another voice chimed in, and the four kids gaped as none other than Meldar Prime stepped out of the shadows, a devious smirk on his face. "But not now. You will know in time, believe me. Come, Goobot, we have plans to finalize."

"I said it was KING Goobot!"

"Whatever, just follow me. Jellybag, you keep an eye on the other jellybags," Meldar demanded as he and Goobot floated away, earning an indignant yell from the 'jellybag' in question.

"My name is Eustace Strych you uncultured, floating-!" But his ranting was cut off as the door to the cell chamber was slammed shut.

He scoffed as he turned to look at his quarry, a smirk crossing his face.

"Ah, so we meet again, good chaps," his gaze turned to a scowling Cindy, who was shaking in rage. "And Cynthia, a pleasure to see you, as always."

"Cut the crap you buck-toothed worm and tell us what is going on right now, or so help me!" Cindy shouted, holding up a fist in the rich boy's direction.

"Such hostilities! But I'm afraid I can't divulge any plans to you as they have not made me privy to them," he said with heavy scorn. "All I know is that this is to lure James to us. From there I do not have any idea as to what the two floating nimrods have planned."

This made Cindy growl out loud in anger as her protectiveness overtook her.

"You touch one hair on his head and I will pull both of those beaver teeth from your face one by one as slowly and painfully as I can!" She roared, causing Eustace to step back in fear.

"Easy, Cindy," Libby said, laying a calming hand on Cindy's shaking shoulder.

Eustace suddenly smirked as a realization came to him.

"Ah, so I see the two of you have finally gotten together. Splendid! This will make things so much more interesting," he said with a dark chuckle, rubbing his hands together. Cindy's face flushed a bit in both embarrassment and even more anger.

"That's none of your business you freak! Let us out of here right now or I'll-!"

"Ah ah ah, I'm afraid I cannot do that, Cynthia. The villain's code and all that," Strych replied, studying his nails as he sat down in a nearby chair.

"Yeah, well, you can take that code and shove it up your-" Libby started to say, but Sheen slapped a hand over her mouth.

"Libbs, a lady does not swear! Especially not my lady," Sheen said.

"If you do not get your hand off my mouth right now, I will rip it off!" Sheen quickly retracted his hand, backing up from his furious girlfriend.

"WE'RE TEARING EACH OTHER APART!" Carl shouted, on his knees as he gripped his head. Libby rolled her eyes.

"Carl, relax, we're not tearing each other apart, we're just frustrated," Libby responded with a sigh.

"Did I ever tell you chaps about how my family became so wealthy? Ooo hoo, it's an interesting story! See, it all began a hundred years ago-" Eustace began and proceeded to go into every detail of his family's history, which was quite extensive.

Cindy was ready to bust out of the cell one way or another and strangle him to death. His voice was beginning to grate on every nerve cell in her body.

A short while later, a noise startled her from her murderous thoughts. Her watch! Cindy had completely forgotten about it! Quickly, she hit the button to hang up before it could ring anymore and alert the annoyance to the fact that she had a communication device. Thankfully Eustace was too deep into his story to have even registered the noise.

"What was that?" Libby whispered. Cindy gulped nervously. She and Jimmy had not told them about her watch and just how advanced it actually was.

"It was... um... my watch," she replied nervously, a small chuckle escaping her.

"Your watch? It makes phone ringing noises?" Libby said with suspicion. "Hold on... that's no ordinary watch he gave you, is it?" Cindy gulped at the glare her friend was giving her.

"Okay, no, it's like his watch, alright? We just didn't want you three to get jealous is all, that's why we never told you," Cindy whispered back, keeping an eye on Strych to make sure he was not paying attention.

"Look, we'll talk about this later, but contact Jimmy since we apparently have a way to, now." Cindy sighed and turned away from Eustace, pulling up her watch's messaging interface, and began to type a message to Jimmy.

Not too long afterward, the door to the cell room opened and every occupant turned to look at who entered.

It was Professor Finbarr Calamitous, shuffling his way in.

"Strych! Grab the blond girl and bring her to the other prison cell. Meldar's orders."

"What?! I am no one's lackey! You hear me! He wants to separate them, then he can do it!" Eustace griped as he stood up, his fists clenched.

"Listen, sonny, I'm just doing what I'm told, and you better follow orders as well! You know what he's capable of!"

"I am not going anywhere with brie breath! You can forget it!" Cindy shouted as she moved to the back of the cell.

"Yeah, Cindy isn't going anywhere with any of you," Libby stated, standing in front of Cindy defensively, her arms crossed.

"Yeah!' Carl and Sheen shouted, standing on either side of Libby.

"Oh for Pete's sake," Calamitous moaned before canceling the energy bars that made up the cell and shooting the four kids with an energy gun of sorts, knocking them out cold.

"What did you do to them?" Eustace said, staring in shock at the unconscious group on the floor.

"Oh they're fine, just knocked out. Now, pick up the blond girl and carry her to her new cell while I um... I um... well I..." he stuttered, making Eustace's eye twitch in irritation.

"Alright already, I'll do it, just be quiet you ninny!" Grumbling, Eustace walked over to Cindy and attempted to lift her up with no success.

"Oh come on, boy, she can't possibly be that heavy," Calamitous said with exasperation, watching as the young human tried to lift the girl.

"You want to try and lift her then, Captain Stutter?"

"No thanks, bad back and all. And don't call me Captain Stutter! I've been working on it! Anyway, just drag her then, we don't have much time before she wakes up," he replied. Eustace grunted with the effort of even dragging her, but he managed. Barely.

Back on Earth

"Alright, you four ready to go?" Jimmy asked as he stood outside the astrocar. Before him stood Zix, Travoltron, Tee, and April. Contacting them had been a bit of a nuisance, but he managed in the end.

He knew contacting April was a bit of a risky business because of Cindy, but he needed a capable fighter on his team and she was the only one he could think of off the top of his head. The other three were his muscle, while Zix also played the part of co-captain. Normally Cindy was, but as she was millions of miles out in space...

"I am ready, Jimmy Neutron," April said with a small bow.

"Yeah, let's get this show on the road and kick some League of Villain booty," Travoltron replied as he rubbed his hands together in glee.

"Good. Zix, you're up front with me. We'll work out a plan on the way there. Now, I managed to locate them somewhere within the Kuiper Belt, so it will take us approximately three hours to get there. Any questions so far?"

All four aliens shook their heads in the negative.

They all boarded and took their seats as Jimmy and Zix fired up the vehicle.

"So, what's the plan, Jimmy?" Zix asked.

"I'm not sure, yet. That's why we're going to discuss it on the way there. We don't know what we're fully up against yet or what the villain's plans are, but my best guess is they want to lure me there. I just wish I knew how they got out of the Cretaceous, they were supposed to be stuck there for good!" Jimmy said in frustration, slamming a fist on the console.

"Mmm, maybe that Meldar character played a part," Tee spoke up.

"Possibly..." Jimmy murmured. "But how, if he did, is my biggest question."

"I'm afraid it is partially my fault," April started, and they all turned to look at her. A look of remorse was on her face. "Meldar managed to get away from us without us noticing. We spent many months trying to locate him with no success."

"It's not your fault, April, that guy is crafty. He didn't manage to steal back his matrix generators, did he?" Jimmy asked in concern.

"Thankfully, no. I keep those on me at all times," April replied, holding up said items. The boy genius let out a sigh of relief.

"Good, that's one less concern. We may need them, so keep them hidden for now."

"Will do, Jimmy Neutron."

A couple of hours in, and after many possible plans thrown around, April suddenly sprung up the question Jimmy had hoped to avoid from her.

"So, I have been curious Jimmy, have you managed to attract a mate yet?" The question jarred the young genius so much he accidentally turned the steering wheel too sharply to the left, causing the other passengers to yelp as they fell out of their seats.

He quickly righted the vehicle, his entire face aflame.

"Um, I... heh, wh-why do you ask?" Jimmy stuttered out as he began to sweat with nervousness.

"Weren't you and the blond one together, Jimmy?" Tee said suddenly, skyrocketing Jimmy's nerves.

"Her name is Cindy, guys, and I- okay, yes, she's my 'mate', to use your terms," Jimmy said, blushing like mad as he stared straight ahead into darkness of space.

"Oh, so you two weren't being serious when you said you weren't, then?" April said smugly, her arms crossed.

"No no no, we were! We weren't together then, I assure you," Jimmy responded getting rather sick of these questions.

"Hmph. I still don't know why you would have chosen her as your mate, of all females. I still think she doesn't deserve you. Unless she has passed the trials of Gu'unth'r?" Jimmy and the bandits looked at her with blank looks, though there was a hint of anger on Jimmy's face.

"Gu'unth'r is where a female goes through a series of rigorous trials to prove she is a worthy mate to a chosen male. Tyl'op'tul is the male equivalent," April explained with ease, and Jimmy let out an aggravated sigh but did not let his frustration show in his voice.

"No, April, humans choose mates differently from Gorlocks. Each sex tries to appeal to the other one in various ways, such as displaying their traits, and if we like what they do, we start a relationship to see if we are a good match for one another," Jimmy explained in the best way he could. Human relationships were complicated, even to humans, but that was the best way he could explain it to an alien species. He did not even want to get into the intricacies of same-sex relationships, no siree.

"So Cindy displayed for you and you liked it?" Jimmy just about passed out from the question from Travoltron as his mind traveled back to all the flirting and showing off she did to get his attention.

Oh, it worked alright.

"This conversation is over!" He shouted, sick and tired of this line of questioning into his personal life.

"But-!"

"OVER!"

They traveled the rest of the way in silence.

Not too much longer after that, they reached their destination. Jimmy and Zix put the car next to the Yolkian ship and killed the engine to keep it from being detected.

"Okay, we don't have a strict plan here because of all the unknown variables we will face. The best thing we can do is stick together and search the ship for our friends. Once we find them, then we'll figure something out from there. Got it?"

"Got it," the four aliens said together. They exited the vehicle and clung to the side of the ship as Jimmy used a souped-up laser pen to bore a hole into the hull big enough for all of them to get through.

Once inside, they stood around and waited for Jimmy's orders.

"Okay, I studied the inside of these ships some time ago, so I know the basic layout. We're on the bottom floor where the prisoner cells are kept, so that's one good thing. The bad news is they are on the other side, so we'll have to traverse our way there and navigate their security system as best we can," Jimmy whispered. "The main cell is the closest, and the one they are probably being kept in, so let's head there first."

Nodding, the other four followed Jimmy silently as he led them through the ship, taking out cameras and other security systems that were spotted with the laser on his watch. He knew they would be noticed at some point, so they had to be quick about it.

Soon enough, the five were standing in front of the doors that led into the main cell chamber. Jimmy slowly cracked it open, feeling relieved that it was silent, and took a quick look inside. He did not see anyone that he would consider a threat, all he saw was the cell and his friends sitting in it, looking glum. His relief was palpable.

"They're in there," Jimmy whispered to his current companions. "We gotta be quiet, though, unless we want a bunch of villains coming after us." Signaling for them to follow him, they stepped into the room and Jimmy ran up to the cell.

"Guys, guys!" He whispered in the loudest voice he dared. The three behind the cell's energy bars quickly snapped their heads up in surprise.

"Jimmy!" Sheen and Carl shouted in happiness.

"Sssshhh-ut! Do you want us to be discovered?" Jimmy shushed as he waved his arms.

"Us?" Libby asked, and Jimmy pointed behind him at the four aliens behind him. "Oh."

It was then that Jimmy noticed someone was missing.

"Where's Cindy?"

"We don't know. Calamitous came in here, knocked us out, and when we woke up Cindy was gone. They decided to separate us for some reason," Libby explained in a whisper with a look of sadness.

Jimmy clenched his fists in anger. Oh, they were so dead! He swiveled around to face his four companions.

"Travoltron, April, you stay here and try to get Carl, Sheen, and Libby out of this cell. Zix, Tee, you're with me. We're gonna go find Cindy," Jimmy said with resolution.

"Aye aye, captain," Zix said as he and Tee followed Jimmy out of the door.

"Oh, go ahead, just leave us here while you go and find your girlfriend. I see how it is," Libby said with exasperation, a sigh, and an eye-roll.

Of course, Jimmy did not hear her as he and the two bandits were halfway down the hall heading towards the next cell chamber he knew about. It was a bit of a way from the main one, so there was a good chance this was where they were keeping his girlfriend.

As luck would have it, he was correct. He opened the door silently and peered in around the door, taking in the room. Eustace sat in a nearby corner, filing his nails and looking bored, causing Jimmy to roll his eyes, and Cindy was sitting in her cell, arms crossed with the fiercest scowl he had ever seen on her face. That was saying something, too, as he had seen some of her nastier scowls.

Jimmy attempted to get her attention silently while trying to not alert the posh brat that was standing, er, sitting guard over her. Eventually, it worked as her eyes shifted over to the door instead of glaring down Eustace, and her face changed immediately to a happy one. He saw her about ready to say something, but the genius mimed zipping the lip, and she nodded.

Jimmy then made the hand gesture for talking and pointed towards Eustace, and with an eye-roll, she got the gist: distract him with talking.

But before that, she mimed something that he understood immediately: Eustace had a radio on him.

"Say, Eustace, I'm curious... why do you identify yourself as a villain?" Cindy asked out of the blue, startling the rich kid out of his bored lull.

"Oh, well, if you remember Cynthia, I declared everlasting vengeance on Neutron, so naturally I just assumed the role," he explained as he continued to file his nails.

"But you weren't a villain before that?"

"I would say not, no. Life was certainly more boring before then, that's for sure."

"I don't remember, what caused you to swear everlasting vengeance, again?" Cindy asked, actually curious.

"Because he beat me not once, but twice! I'm used to being the best, I didn't want some upstart kid without a penny to his name to outdo me! It's just not right." Cindy rolled her eyes heavily at this.

"So what, Jimmy beats me in a lot of things, you don't see me declaring vengeance over him, do you?"

"Hmm, I suppose not. But then again, Cynthia, you're in love with him, I'm not," he retorted, and the idea sent a shiver of absolute disgust down both of Cindy's and Jimmy's back, though Jimmy also gagged silently when he heard that.

He did not want some rich snobby boy lusting over him. No, just no. He would rather live on the moon with Brobot than deal with that. Okay, maybe not with Brobot, that's an even worse torture to deal with.

"Th-that's not the point!" Cindy said with a blush. "The point is, there's always going to be someone better at something than you, you can't escape that. And trying to kill someone because of it is downright immoral!

Look, Jimmy is better at some things than we are, but there's stuff we're better at than him, and that's how it works with everyone. It's how the human world functions to keep society going and it's how we made it as a species in the first place," Cindy finished explaining, and both Jimmy and Cindy noted the slight contemplative look that crossed Eustace's face.

While Cindy had been distracting Eustace, Jimmy had explained the plan to Zix and Tee.

"Okay, while he's distracted, I want the two of you to grab him and restrain him. Search his body for the radio and crush it, we don't need him alerting the other villains while we free Cindy. Got it?"

"Loud and clear, Jimmy," Zix said while Tee gave two thumbs up with a toothy grin.

"If he becomes hostile, feel free to knock him out, but don't hurt him too much, he's still a human, despite how annoying he is," Jimmy said and the other two nodded their heads in understanding.

"On three then. One, two... three!" They burst into the room, startling Eustace.

"What in the-" He never finished as Tee grabbed him and held him tightly, keeping his arms locked to his sides as Zix began searching his person for the radio.

"I say, this is most undignified! Unhand me you- James?"

"Hello old bean, how have you been? I'm just here to rescue my fair maiden and then I'll be on my way," Jimmy said with a chuckle, causing Cindy to roll her eyes at the corniness.

"I think not! Let me go you brute- OW! Be careful down there! That's highly sensitive territory!"

"Found it," Zix said as he held up the radio before crushing it into pieces, rendering it completely unusable.

"Great job! Keep him restrained and quiet while I figure out how to get this cell open," Jimmy said as he searched for a control box somewhere.

"Uh, Jimmy? I think it's over there," Cindy said, pointing at the back wall corner.

"Oh! Thanks, Cindy," Jimmy said and walked over, pulling the cover off the box. He rolled his eyes at how the thing was wired. "An advanced society they may be, but some of their systems are still pretty weakly designed." Thus, he began rerouting wires and cutting others with practiced ease.

Eventually, the energy bars that made up the cell fell as he cut the final wire. He turned around, dusting his hands off.

"There, all done- mmph!" Jimmy was cut off as he was tackled into a tight hug by a blur of green and yellow, but he knew who it was. He returned the hug with fervor, taking in her calming scent as he breathed in deeply and closed his eyes.

He would never admit it to anyone, but he had been terrified of losing her. Cindy meant everything to him, and had meant everything to him, even before they dated. Though he certainly did not realize that at the time, nor would he have admitted it to himself if he had.

"I missed you," she whispered into his ear, causing a shiver to course through his body at the sensation.

"I missed you, too, even though it's only been about five hours."

"Oh don't ruin it! You know what I meant, Jimmy," Cindy said as she pulled back, keeping her arms wrapped around his neck, and stared deeply into his eyes.

"I certainly do, I just like being pedantic about things, you know that," Jimmy shrugged with a smile, staring back into her eyes. Cindy shook her head in fondness.

"Don't I know it," she whispered before leaning down with Jimmy meeting her halfway.

An uncomfortable cough broke them out of their kiss a few moments later, causing Cindy to wheel around and glare at the culprit.

"Uh, I hate to break up the reunion, but we should get going before any villains come looking for us," Zix said, his eyes shifted away from the scene, though Tee was giving a thumbs up and an enthusiastic nod in their direction.

Jimmy sighed and stepped out of the embrace with his girlfriend which caused her to pout a bit.

"He's right, let's get the others and get out of here. Tee, bring Eustace with us, we'll use him as a hostage," Jimmy said.

"What?! Why I never!"

Jimmy turned to Cindy and whispered in her ear.

"We'll continue later," he quietly said with a wink, causing her to smile widely, amidst Eustace's complaints.

END (To Be Continued?)

A/N: So, yeah, there's way more to this story than this, and if you want to see the rest, let me know! I will finish it and post it as its own separate story since there's plenty of drama and action after this point, and some stuff from the beginning I didn't add in. I gave a pretty big hint to a plot point I have in mind with one of the characters, but I don't want to spoil it by skipping to the end of the story, so I'm leaving it on a fluffy note.

Let me know what you think! Adios for now.
