Firewing flew as fast as she could, though being sparked didn't help, she knew she had to get to Megatron in time. She saw the two leaders in the distance, Sentinel standing over Megatrons form, sword in servo. She could see the Autobot leader talking to the downed Decepticon, as she got closer she heard it. "Perhaps I'll just slit your throat now" the Autobot said as he prepared to deal the killing blow.

Firewing woke with a start; she had been having nightmares lately. It started small, barely noticeable, only to work its way up to this. She tried not to think about the what ifs, but it was so difficult. Everyday she thought about what would happen if she didn't get there in time, if Sentinel had not started to monologue… If Megatron never woke up. She whimpered as the image of Megatron offlining entered her processor, tears streaming down her faceplates.

She wiped the tears away, as she sat up to sit on the edge of the berth. She checked the time, to find it was still early in the morning. She groaned as she stood from the berth, heading towards the wash racks. She sighed as the water hit her frame, seeping into every nook and cranny. She stood under the water for what felt like forever, scrubbing her frame clean, before turning the water off to step out of the shower. She closed her optics as the dryer dried her frame, she enjoyed the sensation of the dryer on her armour, it felt… Nice. She stepped out of the wash racks, gathering everything she needed to prepare for the day, before exiting her quarters.

Firewing sat in Megatrons chair (cause she didn't want to call it hers) in the command centre, processor not focusing on the current job. She hadn't recharged great least night, having been haunted by thoughts of losing Megatron. She placed on servo on her abdomen; her plating had already shifted around the now swollen gestation tank. She smiled at the thought of raising her little mechling, but suddenly her smiled faulted… The thought of raising her sparkling with out Megatron made its way to the forefront of her processor, causing her to whimper almost silently. Though the seeker standing next to her heard it.

Starscream looked down at the femme, noticing where her servo sat, he instantly felt for her. He placed a comforting servo on her shoulder. "Perhaps, you should take the rest of the day off" he started. "I can handle everything from here" he announced.

Firewing looked up to the tri-coloured mech, nodding in appreciation. "Thank you Starscream" she started, as she rose from the chair. "I'll be in the med-bay if you need me"

Firewing sat in the chair next to her mates berth, she servo held his to her protruding gestation tank. "He is really kicking the scrap out of me today" she said, before bringing the servo to her lips. "He's gonna be strong just like his sire" she said. She placed his servo back on the berth, but didn't let it go. "I miss you more and more everyday" she whispered, bringing a servo up to brush away a few stray tears.

Suddenly the doors flew open, to allow Starscream to enter holding an injured Cobalt in his arms. Firewing quickly stood from her chair, moving over to the two mechs. "What happened?" she asked, worried about her 'little brother'.

Starscream moved to put the smaller mech on a berth. "He was training with Skywarp, Thundercracker and Nacelle when suddenly his jetpack malfunctioned" he said, as he moved back to allow the femme to stand next to the blue mech. "It was just lucky Skywarp was there, otherwise…" he stopped for a moment, frowned making its way to his faceplates. "I don't want to think about what could have happened" He said, turning towards the door. "I'll have the pack torn down and rebuild if I have to, this will never happen again" he said as he started to leave.

"Thank you Starscream" the femme said to the mechs back, who in turn simply nodded with out turning. She looked back to the blue mech as he lie on the med-berth, watching as Hook scanned his injuries. "Are you ok?" she asked.

Cobalt stared up at the femme, smile making its way to his faceplates. "Yeah, I'm fine" he said.

"I'll be the judge of that" the medic said from the berth side.

Cobalt smiled even wider. "Sure medic" he said, before grabbing the worried femmes servo. "I swear… I'm fine. Just gave me a bit of a fright. Nothing severe" he said, squeezing the servo as he did.

Firewing smiled down at her brother, realising just how much this mech meant to her. "I'm so glad you're alright" she said, as she leant down to hug the mech. "I don't know what I'd do if I lost you"

Firewing walked Cobalt back to his quarters; he had been released from the med-bay a few hours after arriving, having been cleared. "How are you?" she asked.

Cobalt looked at the red femme, smiling at his sister. "I'm ok, I promise" he assured. "Just frightened the frag out of me" he said.

"Language youngling" the femme said, though couldn't stop chuckle that rippled through her vocals.

Cobalt looked at the femme before bursting out laughing. "Sure sis" he said, as they continued there journey to his quarters.

Firewing once again found herself in the med-bay visiting her mate. She visited him every day, sometimes multiple times a day… But then days started turning to weeks with no sign of the silver mech waking; now she stood staring down at her mate nearly eights weeks after he had fallen into stasis. She ran her servo over his helm, tears running down her cheeks. "I need you Megatron" she said, her other servo going to her; very much protruding, gestation tank. "I can't do this without you". She knew it would only be a few days before Firefall joined them, and she hated the idea of doing it without her mate.
