At the headquarters of the WWE, Linda, Stephanie spoke with the board of Directors again about Vince teaming up with a Diva name Maryse and the board told them that is cover as well. He may not team up with anyone, or he will lose his title as board chairman. Both Linda and Stephanie were stunned the board had thought of everything. Finally, the door to the boardroom opens, and in walks Kayla McMahon.
"Am I interrupting?" She asked to step inside and closed the door behind her.
"No, Kayla," Linda replied as Kayla took her seat beside her big sister Stephanie.
"Now, Kayla, I am sure that Linda here has spoken to you about coming back to work here in the WWE," a board member said.
"Yes, she has," she said.
"Good," the board member said.
"Kayla, you are an excellent asset to the WWE in general, and you have learned quickly how everything works behind the curtain. We, the board of directors, know that you and Stephanie can continue what Linda and Vince started years ago."
Stephanie and Kayla smile at the compliment from the boards.
"So, Kayla, are you going to come back and work for the WWE?" One of the board members asked her directly
"Yes, I will come back to work."
The board smiled and was happy that Kayla McMahon was back in the fold of working at the WWE.
"You have nothing to worry about with Kayla, and I charge things will run smoothly."
"Yes, with us in charge, things will run smoothly."
"Very good, and Kayla, you do not have to worry about Vince; he has received our message loud and clear on what can happen to him if he tries to interfere in your personal life again."
"Thank you"
"You're welcome," the boards said before standing up and exits the boardroom leaving Linda, Stephanie, and Kayla alone.
"So you talk them about dad teamed up with Maryse?"
"Yes, pebbles, it is cover. He is interfering; he's losing his title as Chairman of Board."
"Wow, I am shocked that the board thought of everything."
"We were too, sister."
"Your father doesn't like it but too bad for him. He needs to learn that you girls are grown women who can date whomever your heart chooses, even if it is a wrestler from the company. I warn him not to try and dictate your life pebbles, and if grandma Vicky finds out what he tries to do to you, he is in more trouble with his mother."
Kayla chuckled and said, "That might be fun to watch Dad on the receiving end of a tongue lashing from grandma."
Stephanie laughed and said, "Yeah, that would be fun to witnessing grandma verb assault her son."
It would be fun to watch him squirm as his mother verb assault him over his overbearing ways toward his daughters," they chuckle.
"Have you talk to Mike?" Linda asked with a smile.
"I was with him when you call mom," she replied with a smile.
Stephanie smiled and said, "Hang out, huh."
"yes, we talked about him moving here so that we could see each other more."
Linda smiles; her youngest was a go-get in anything she did. She could probably be WWE Divas Champion if she chooses to be. She knew how athletic her youngest was, seeing that she played sports in youth and was a member of the diving team in high school. Kayla was the most athletic child she had.
