Nora was in a big underground lab and she could see other kids with her from ages six to eighteen that were in the room.

After being brought to the scientists who had ordered the men in black to capture Nora, she was placed in a room with the other kids and told to wait.

From the looks of things, the younger kids were scared of what the scientists wanted with them while the older kids tried to protect them from the adults.

One of the older kids who had been in the lab the longest took Nora under her wing and explained just what was in store for her and all the other kids.

"Can't we fight back?" Nora asked her, the older girl shook her head. "We older kids tried but suffered the consequences." The girl replied with a sigh.

Nora frowned when she saw the old injuries on her mentor and decided to help the others to escape even if it meant that she was left behind in the end.

But until Nora could find a way to cause a riot of some sort in order to save everyone, she'd do as told and that's when a man in a mask came to get a kid.

The younger kids latched onto the older ones but the masked man was more interested in Nora. "She'll do." The man said as he grabbed Nora's arm tightly.

All of the others watched as the masked man dragged Nora out of the room while she struggled to get away until he gave her shot that made her really weak.

"NO!" Nora shouted in fear, she woke up from her nightmare and saw that she was safe. "Just a bad dream." Nora said with a sigh, she looked at the room she was in.

The room confused Nora since it looked like a guest room but the last she remembered was being put in a cryo-sleep chamber so someone must've found her in the lab.

"Who could've found me down there?" Nora asked herself, soon she heard footsteps coming her way. "...think she's awake." A young girl's voice rang out as the door opened.

Nora was surprised to see two girls, one was around her age and had pearly purple skin while the other girl was a little younger with black skin. "She's up." The girl with pearly purple skin stated.

"Hi." The younger girl said softly, Nora blinked slowly. "H-hey." Nora replied shyly, both girls smiled a bit. "My name is Wolf and this is my sister Kipo." Wolf told Nora gently.

Kipo waved at Nora as she knew that Wolf wanted to take things slowly. "I-I'm Nora." Nora responded, Wolf and Kipo sat down on the bed that she was laying on in order to talk.

"Are you okay?" Kipo asked kindly, Nora shrugged a little. "Our parents are getting you some food since your probably starving." Wolf informed Nora just as her stomach growled.

This made Nora blush as she held her stomach but Kipo and Wolf didn't laugh. "Who wants some food?" A man's voice called out, two adults came into the room with plates of food.

Kipo introduced her parents Lio and Song to Nora and she gave them her name before the six of them started eating but Nora could tell that the Oak family wanted some answers from her.

"I-I don't remember much." Nora admitted, the family paused and looked at her. "About what happened in the underground lab since some things are fuzzy." Nora clarified what she meant.

Nora went on to explain that while some of her memories were fuzzy some weren't and she could remember that there were other kids with her in the lab but didn't remember why they were there.

Lio and Song smiled gently in understanding. "It's alright." Lio told Nora, Song gave her a hug. "The memories will come back just give it time." Song added in, Nora nodded as they ate more.

Once the food was gone, Lio and Song left the room followed by Kipo and Wolf so Nora could get some more rest that didn't include sleeping which left Nora listen to music with her earbuds in.

Nora looked at her list of songs on her phone which surprisingly still worked and had been charged while she was out so she chose a song that went with her situation quiet perfectly right away.

[Nora]

I waited for you and waited for you

And made a mistake I can never undo

And now I look back but then I lose track

I spent so much time I can never get back

Could wait forever but then I won't learn

That memories fade no matter how much it hurts

And on the inside I feel my heart cry

I'm tearing at the walls in corners of my mind

Wanna tell you just to hold on

But now those days are gone

Hold on

I still regret every word, that day, I never said

I still remember the tangle we were

But in the end, what did we give it up for?

It was something so small, worth nothing at all

But it was my everything and now I've lost it all

Ooh...Now I will never get the chance

To tell you

(Music)

I realized that I'm a witness to time

The change that evolves, as the days all fly by

And on the on the inside I feel my heart cry

I'm tearing at the corners of my mind

I waited for you, I waited for you

And made a mistake I can never undo

And deep in my soul I'm losing control

Another new day, yet another painful toll

(Music)

I realized that I'm a witness to time

Wanna tell you to just hold on, hold on

(Music)

Nothing will ever bring you harm

Even if we awaken from the darkness

The other side is waiting, the night to be my guide

The city, where once we had found a haven

Grew colder before our eyes, as snow fell from the skies

Know that, there's a scar with your name in my heart

That never will heal or fade with time

If it were to vanish, then I'd forget

But this scar in me, stays as your laughter, it fades

I plead, so it won't be ERASED

Along, I was who saw

You past, you now, and future to come

I saw your fears, the flicker of your cheer

Everything

I believed that when we grew up,

The world wouldn't be cold

But I was mistaken 'cause it's all the same

It was me who along, the one who saw

You past, you now, and future to come.

At the end of the song, Nora felt tears fall down her face as she cried since she knew that the world had changed and with the Oak family filling her in that everything in the old world was gone forever.

That included Nora's family and her friends so she cried for not getting to see them ever again since she had been forced into cryo-sleep and hated that she'd lost all of her loved ones while she had slept.

Kipo, Wolf, Lio and Song came into the room then hugged Nora telling her that everything was going to be okay as they would help her adjust to her new life but that made Nora cry harder in sadness.

The Oak family felt bad for Nora since they couldn't imagine what it was like to sleep for two hundred years only to wake up and realize that you've lost everything while you outlived your loved ones.

Eventually, Nora had fallen asleep again as exhaustion had taken over so the Oak's left the guest room so Nora could regain her energy once more since she'd need to be able to walk around tomorrow.

"Think she'll be okay?" Kipo asked her parents, Wolf looked to them for an answer. "With us helping her, I think Nora will be okay." Lio replied softly, Song nodded as they all promised to help Nora adjust.

With that, the Oak's decided to get some sleep since tomorrow was big day as they planned to take Nora around the city to meet their friends and help her get re-antiquated with her home despite it's changes.
