The next morning, Wolf and Kipo decided to take Nora around the city so they could introduce her to everyone.
Nora was a bit worried about meeting their friends but with some reassurance from Wolf and encouragement from Kipo she agreed to meet them.
But first things first. "Shopping?" Nora said in confusion, she glanced at her clothes. "Your clothes are kinda ripped." Wolf replied to her, she was right.
"Let's go to the mall!" Kipo said with a smile, Nora sighed but followed them. "Maybe I can find a similar outfit." Nora muttered as they walked to the mall.
Once the three girls arrived at the mall, Nora made a bee-line for her favorite stores (even if they were in ruins) and found some new clothes that she had wanted.
Nora did in fact find an outfit similar to the one she was wearing but now included a short-sleeved pink and white jacket which Wolf and Kipo approved of with smiles.
"Shopping's done so onto meeting our friends." Kipo told Nora, she trailed behind the Oak sisters. "First you'll meet Benson and Dave." Wolf said to Nora as they walked.
Nora remembered that Wolf had mentioned that Dave is a type of bug mute while Benson is a human. "Alright but where are they?" Nora asked the Oak sisters in wonder.
Kipo told Nora that Benson and Dave were hanging out with three other humans named Troy, Asher and Dahlia at an old park which was rumored to be haunted by three ghosts.
After hearing that, some images flashed in Nora's mind. "Nora!" Two girls and one boy called out. The flashes made Nora grab her head as she felt pain until the images just stopped.
"You okay?" Wolf asked Nora, she nodded back to her. "I-I'm fine. Let's go." Nora answered Wolf, she walked on ahead of Wolf and Kipo who stared at her back in concern and worry.
Soon the three girls reached the park which Nora recognized as the one she and her best friends would meet up at everyday with plans to walk to school or just hang out at in general.
"There you are!" Dahlia called out, she and the others turned to Kipo and Wolf but their smiles turned to confused looks at the sight of Nora. "Who's that?" Asher asked as they eyed Nora.
"This is Nora Schnee and we've got a story for you." Kipo answered Asher, she told her friends what had happened yesterday and the stories of Nora's disappearance from two hundred years ago.
"She's from the old world?!" The five shouted in shock, Wolf nodded as Nora waved nervously. "Are you feeling okay?" Troy asked in worry, this made Nora pause in slight confusion at his question.
"I'm okay for the most part." Nora answered warily, she wondered why four people she didn't know were worried about her but soon they became distracted by Dave shouting about something else.
So while Kipo, Wolf and their friends were busy, Nora wandered away from them since she wanted to explore on her own for a little while as she wanted to be alone while thinking of those images.
Nora was so deep in thought that she hadn't realized that her scent had caught the attention of a timber cat that has white fluffy fur, blue eyes and was wearing a blue and black plaid shirt for clothes.
The timber cat in question was Molly Yarnchopper who at the time had been looking at an old picture of her human family from back when all the animals were still normal and not turned into mutes.
"Nora?" Molly called out, Nora froze then slowly turned around to face her. "W-who are you?" Nora asked fearfully as she stepped away. "Nora, it's me." Molly said as she took a step forward to her.
This only made Nora step back in fear again so Molly decided to use the one thing she knew that would get Nora to calm down so they could talk as Molly had questions that only Nora had the answers to.

Nora looked at Molly as she knew that only members of her family have heard that lullaby before and that's when it dawned on Nora so she and Molly ran to hug each other as music only they heard played.
[Molly]

At the end of their song, Nora cried as she hugged her kitty for the first time in two hundred years. "It's okay, we're together again." Molly said as tears fell down her face, she nuzzled her human in comfort.
During the explanations from the night before, Lio and Song had mentioned that some mutes ended up with longer lives when the mute out-break happened so that meant that Molly might've been alive still.
"Nora. What happened to you?" Molly asked gently, her human looked up at her. "I remember being on my way home when some people in black attacked and kidnapped me." Nora answered Molly as she coughed.
All the crying that Nora had done made her throat hurt so she and Molly went to sit down on a bench while they took a drink of the milk that Molly had on her which it thankfully soothed Nora's dry scratchy voice.
Molly stayed calm on the outside but on the inside she was furious that her human family had suffered when Nora had gone missing all because some bad people had taken her and made it seem like she was dead.
"What did these people do to you?" Molly calmly, Nora shook her head. "I can't remember much of what they did but I did manage to save the other kids that had been with me." Nora replied as she petted Molly.
Molly always knew when her human was lying and knew that Nora truly couldn't recall what the bad humans wanted with her but she hoped that Nora would be able to remember so she could help her feel better.
"It doesn't matter right now. Just let me hold you close." Molly said with a smile, Nora complied as she hugged her kitty while Molly purred from the attention that she was getting from her lost human family member.
Neither Molly or Nora wanted this moment to end but soon they heard Kipo calling. "Why don't we hang out?" Nora asked with a smile, Molly smirked. "Let's go shock everyone." Molly responded to her with a laugh.
Nora giggled at her silly kitty before they returned to Kipo and the others who were shocked to see that the human and timber cat already knew each other but the seven friends smiled at the pair as they all hung out.
