Williams Return
Chapter Eight
Jonas had agreed to take the serum at the medical clinic of the military base. Special Agent Fox Mulder and Dana Scully had been there before many years ago with A.D. Walter Skinner giving them the X File case.
"Are you sure Jonas about this decision of the serum? You really don't know what it's going to do to you?" William cried out with his concern for the alien.
"It's my choice William since I don't want to be a slave to them. I want to be free of all alien images being placed into my brain William. I do hope that you're able to understand what I am trying to say?" Jonas will say to him.
"I am trying to understand. Even though my father had been through it with the Consortium and his own father the smoking man to control him as with his own mental thoughts ever since he was a little boy?" William noted with Fox Mulder didn't realize that his son was fighting an inner for him and himself.
Jonas turned to face Fox Mulder with a curious look on his face. "Sir, I didn't realize that you were able to go through so much with your family history?" she cried out.
"Believe me I know Jonas having battled my real father for years until I knew all of the truth in what he was trying to do with the aliens coming here and in conjunction with what the Consortium were doing?"
"I can contest to that Jonas with the Consortium having used me and hundreds of woman taking their ovaries to try to design alien creatures like our son William. I am truly sorry son that I had to say it that way?" Scully needs to have said with the breakfast needing to be eaten.
It was the next day after Doctor Silverton had been notified that Special Agent Fox Mulder and his wife, along with William were bringing a specimen for the doctor to have and use the serum on her in order to get rid of the images she had been given.
All of them were in his office explaining it to them while making sure that Jonas is able to understand what is going to happen with her.
"What are some of the side effects Doctor Silverton?" Jonas had to ask need to be sure of her decision.
"Just headaches mostly, otherwise there are no other side effects. All 21 of our subjects have been doing really well since we started with the program." Doctor Sinclair noted by asking for William and Jonas to sign the paperwork before taking her to the private quarters, food, and most of with meeting all of the residents of the program.
"How long will it last with the program Doctor Silverton?" Dana Scully needed to ask with looking over at Jonas seeming to be quite calm for the moment.
"That depends on the United States Military Special Agent Scully!" he will have to say with caution in his demeanor.
"Doctor Silverton when will I be given the serum?" Jonas needed to have asked the question.
"Sometime tomorrow since we will be running a series of tests on your brain function to make sure there aren't any anomalies." he will have to say on the subject with the shake of his head.
"I don't understand?" Jonas inquired with the question.
"We are doing these tests in case there aren't any surprises while we inject you with the serum into your right arm. "the doctor noted...
"Thank you." she had to say with Mulder and Scully told Jonas good luck with handing over the go-bag to her, while William was concerned as he came over to hug her for emotional support. in a soft tone of voice. "William I am scared," she said to him...
"It's only nature Jonas to be scared of the unknown," William said with his father shaking his head with that statement.
"Thank you, for your support William ever since I was freed by you on my planet?" she cried out with her response, and the doctor anxious to get started with an escort to be taking her to her quarters in order to get settled and brought over to the commissary to eat with the rest of the subjects. This way she will be able to get to know them before she is given the serum tomorrow in the afternoon.
Mulder, William, and Scully watched Jonas walk away with the doctor and the escort before leaving the base to have something to eat as well.
"Don't worry William. Jonas is going to be alright?" Fox Mulder exclaimed with walking out into the crisp air with the change of temperature.
Sometimes later after dropping off her things into the spacious quarters. Escort had taken Jonas to the commissary into another larger building for where the subjects and employees all have their meals.
When Jonas walked into the commissary. She had noticed those involved in the project and vice versa.
Sitting at a table of four. Alex, Judith, Samuels, and Jose all noticed Jonas walking in. "It looks like we have another subject added to the program?" Alex aged 26 years old and a school teacher for Math and English.
"Alex, we need to be gentle with the woman before we are able to trust her?" Judith had to say age 41 ex-police officer before she wasn't able to deal with a shooting of a young teenager selling drugs.
"Oh, come on Judith, you need to get over those memories of your past?" Alex cried out with the escort coming over to introduce Jonas to the group.
It was a rather interesting meeting with the four at the table since the rest were elsewhere exercising on the grounds.
But in the meantime, Jonas was receiving a strange image in her mind telling her that someone in the group was lying to her in regard to destroying the project and those involved. She didn't bother to say a word but rather continue on with the chat and sitting down until she was ready to choose her foods and drink.
