On the way back to the park where Molly knew that Kipo and her friends were waiting, she told Nora about H.M.U.F.A.

The name was the short version of Human Mute Ultimate Friendship Alliance which is the name Kipo had come up with for the whole group uniting.

Nora laughed a little since the name was a tongue twister and after Molly realized that as well she started to laugh along with Nora once more at this.

Molly also told her human about the adventures she'd had before joining the timber cats years after the mute outbreak had first happened back then.

In turn, Nora told Molly all that she had learned from the older girl who had taken her under her wing after being kidnapped by the masked man's followers.

"I'm still sorry you had to go through that." Molly said sadly, her ears turned down in sadness. "No more tears." Nora responded sternly as she petted Molly.

Molly nuzzled Nora's hand as she purred softly. "We can make sure that everything will be alright now." Nora said with a smile, Molly nodded with a smile.

As the two reached the park, they saw Kipo, Wolf, Benson and Dave fighting a woman with short white hair and dark skin. "She's back!" Molly growled out.

Nora watched as the woman took a dart out of her pocket and was about to use it on Kipo and before she knew it, Nora rammed herself into the woman's back.

"Oof!" The woman grunted in pain, Nora helped Kipo back up. "Are you okay?" Nora asked in worry, Kipo smiled at her. "I'm good." Kipo answered Nora's question.

Both girls turned to the woman just as she stood up. "I've had it with you and your friends." The woman said to Kipo before looking at Nora in shock written on her face.

"Nora?" The woman said softly, Nora stopped Kipo from charging forwards. "Who are you and how do you know me?" Nora asked warily, the woman looked at Nora sadly.

Everyone was watching the scene unfold. "Nora...it's me...Emilia." Emilia answered as tears fell, Nora's eyes widen as she looked closely. "Emilia?" Nora asked somewhat quietly.

"How do you two know each other?" Wolf asked them, she was a little suspicious of the whole thing. "Emilia was the one who helped me when I'd been kidnapped." Nora answered.

"WHAT?!" Everyone shouted in shock, Emilia went to hug Nora who dodged her. "Nora? What's wrong?" Emilia asked in confusion, Nora paused to think about why she dodged her.

"I know you don't like mutes so why would you hug me Emilia?" Nora asked Emilia, she was confused until she remembered what the masked man had done to Nora back in the lab.

"He changed you?" Emilia asked sadly, Nora nodded with a frown. "I-I need to go." Emilia said before running away, Nora watched as her old mentor ran away from her and everyone.

"Nora, how are you and Dr. Emilia connected?" Benson asked nervously, Nora sighed as she sat down on a park bench. "Sit and I'll tell you everything." Nora responded with a big sigh.

Once everyone sat down, Nora told them what had happened before she was put in cryo-sleep and how it was Emilia that had helped her survive in the underground lab after meeting.

"...so after the riot you caused, Emilia and her brother must've been captured again." Kipo started to say. "Then they were woken up before me and joined your parents burrow." Nora finished.

Something had confused the young red head since she remembered that Emilia and Liam were always together so only seeing Emilia worried Nora as the siblings were glued to each other so to speak.

"But where is Liam?" Nora asked them, Kipo and her friends told Nora about Emilia had done not only to them but also what she had done to Liam, needless to say, Nora was shocked by the news.

"I-I don't understand. How could she do that!?" Nora shouted in anger, she changed a little so her mute side was showing. "Nora! Calm down!" Molly ordered her, she did what Molly told her to do.

"Emilia is obsessed with changing all mutes back." Kipo said gently, the gentleness didn't help. "She has no right!" Nora shouted out, Wolf grabbed Nora's arm and forced her to sit down on the bench.

"Chill out. With you here, maybe we can get through to Emilia." Dave said with a slight smile, Nora took some deep breaths. "Maybe but for now, I think we should rest." Nora replied to Dave in exhaustion.

Everyone agreed before they all went back to their houses but Molly insisted that Nora stay with her and the timber cats so Kipo told them that she and Wolf would let their parents know where Nora went.

What no one knew was that Emilia hadn't fully left the park but hid and heard everything Kipo told Nora. "Nora's going to hate me now. I've sealed my own fate." Emilia thought as she watched them all leave.

Emilia went back to her boat as she remembered everything that happened after she and Liam had been found by their adopted father who had wanted to reclaim the surface world from the mutes above them.

All that time, Emilia had never forgotten the young girl who she'd taken under her wing to help her survive the underground lab before that same girl had caused the riot which saved every other kid from dying.

Once she was back on her boat, Emilia played some music that she needed to hear so she could process today's events after being reunited with Nora, the girl who was forced to become a mute by that monster.

At the end of the song, Emilia looked a picture of her and Liam with a picture of Nora beside it. "I'm so sorry, you two." Emilia said with a sob, she finally realized that she'd made horrible choices over the years.

One of her choices had led to Nora getting left behind to suffer alone while the other was killing her own brother for wanting the humans and mutes to live together side by side, the pain hurt her badly as she cried.

Emilia knew that no one would forgive her after trying to bring back the old world by destroying the new world but she hoped that she could redeem herself starting with talking to Nora about a suitable punishment.

To earn one's trust, you must first show just how sorry you really are and that's exactly what Emilia wanted to do, so she would earn Nora's trust back as well as Kipo, Song and Lio since they have a history together.

"I can't change the past but I can help make the future better." Emilia told herself, she knew what she had to change about herself but figured that her student could become the teacher now that they've reunited.

Emilia would give it everything she's got in order to make things right with the humans, mutes and most of all Nora, the one girl she knew that she could still trust to help her change into a better person once more.

However, Emilia knew better than to try and get Nora alone so for now, she'd leave her student be while getting her thoughts in order to say the right things to everyone before working to earn their trust again.

It was high time for Emilia to keep her promise to Liam and Nora about making the world a better place for everyone and now Emilia was going to take the first step by apologizing to everyone for her evil actions.

Emilia knew that she needed a plan in order to get everyone in the same place at the same time so they could all hear her apologize so she started coming up with plans and hoped for the better in order for it to work.

It would be a long time before anyone trusted Emilia and she knew that she couldn't blame them but with Nora's help, maybe just maybe, things would work out for her and she'd be accepted into H.M.U.F.A for real.
