Williams return
Chapter 15th
With the shake of her head. Debbie will say the following. "Matter of fact I have Jonas and I can't keep the images out of my mind." she will say withholding her shoulder with her fear.
"Just what exactly type of images are you seeing Debbie if you don't me asking?" Jonas was sure that it has to do with the Consortium.
"It's strange to see this particular spacecraft as part of the images, along with humans walking out of the hatchway. I don't understand it as to what it means in the first place?" Jonas can tell that she was scared as hell.
"Maybe it has something to do with the murder of the project member?" Jonas will make mention to the woman getting up from the mat.
"Are you getting these types of images Jonas?" this time Debbie will need to ask the question.
Lying to her about the truth. "No, I haven't at this time since the serum has so far been working on me and the others no doubt. I will need to be speaking with them now and let you exercise," she said with trying to calm her down.
"I don't think that I can exercise anymore tonight. Matter of fact I am hungry, would you care to join me in the cafeteria?" Jonas didn't know what to say on the subject.
"I will join you for a snack and then I will talk with the others," she said with watching Debbie head for the locker room to change. "I will wait here for you," she noted.
Meanwhile on the base...
Fox Mulder and William had been walking around checking out things with the personnel. They were over by the motor pool.
When all of a sudden William is hit with an image in his brain knocking him back with his father holding onto his son.
Concerned...
"What happened to you, William?" Mulder was looking for anything out of the ordinary.
"I really don't know except for the fact there was an image of a soldier that is on the base that might be a part of the Consortium trying to upset the balance of the project." William was normal again with his blood pressure and heart rate.
They continued to walk. When William stopped for the moment. "He's in there?" William commanded his father.
"Are you sure?" Mulder will say to his son.
"Yeah, I am sure, dad. Do you have your weapon?" William had been serious with asking the question.
Fox Mulder pulled out his weapon from his holster sitting on his right hip with taking a deep breath. Moving slowly to the building.
Shots were fired at both of them. Mulder had pushed his son out of the way in order to get a shot at the intruder firing.
Missing Mulder by a hair with getting down onto the ground. Mulder fired three times to finally hit his target.
William screamed out to say. "YOU GOT HIM, DAD!" excited with his statement.
Running over to the male body with turning him over. "Do you know him, William?" Mulder had to ask with the security guards arriving.
"What happened?" Sergeant Boone age 45 will ask.
"This man fired at us when we moved into the building. I had no choice in the matter to protect us both firing back to kill him. We have a feeling he was involved with those trying to shut down the project?" Mulder will explain. "Do you know him at all Sergeant?"
With the shake of his head. "Never seen him before." he looked over at his partner.
"I believe his name is Corporal Dennis Ellison. He's only been here a few weeks sir." Sergeant Robby Williams noted with a deep sigh.
"Do you think the base doctor or coroner will be able to do an autopsy to find out what caused this Sergeant Williams?" Mulder needed to say to the sergeant with concern.
"I will alert the base hospital of the situation. But in the meantime, I suggest that you head back to your quarters until we figure why this man was shooting at the both of you?" he grinned back with his response.
"We will follow your order Sergeant." Mulder glared back with his response.
Sometimes later back at Mulder's quarters...
Fox Mulder sitting at the edge of his double bed. "Are you still getting those images anymore William?" Mulder snapped back at his son.
William was standing in front of him with a shake of his head. "Nothing at all. Maybe Jonas has something to say. I am going to go see her and ask." he rolled his eyes for a moment before heading out to head down the hallway to Jonas's quarters.
Pressing the bell to indicate that she was having a guess arriving. He walked in to see her crossed-legged sitting on the floor. "What's wrong Jonas?"
"You killed the one player in this crazy situation with his body at the medical building of the base?" she will say to him with the roll of her eyes.
"How in the world did you know that Jonas?" William dropped down with sitting in one of the chairs of the kitchen area.
"Since the serum isn't working on me, my abilities are in full force now as with my changing into his shapes," she commented.
William had gotten up from his chair to ask the following. "Are you able to see anyone else involved with shutting down the project?"
She wasn't able to answer him right away. She had rolled back her eyes as if she was being contacted once again by the Consortium. "I don't know William, but your father wants to say good night to you before sleeping."
There was a slight chuckle coming out of his mouth. "How do you know that Jonas when I had just left him?" he croaked out with his response and glaring demeanor.
"He told me in my mind." she was coy with him for when it comes to the answer.
