[Host! Wake up, wake up!] The system's voice sounded especially loud this time. She opened her eyes and she saw a brightly lit room indicating that the sun had already risen since a few hours ago.

'What time is it?' She asked while rubbing her eyes to temporarily relieve her sleepiness.

[Currently it's seven o'clock in the morning. Host you need to prepare, the class start at eight a.m. You can not be late, that will be an OOC behavior.] It reminded her again for the nth time. Its voice grated her ears. Maybe she needed to prohibit it from talking early in the morning. She turned her head towards her bedside and took her alarm that had yet to rang, turned it off and stood up. She briskly walked into the bathroom, took a quick shower, then dressed herself up. Accidentally, she saw her new appearance reflected from the mirror. This was the first time she properly examined her face, black hair, black eyes, fair skin… familiar.

She looked at the mirror for a few seconds then went out of the bathroom. Her bag, gears, other stuffs were already prepared yesterday morning. The only thing that was missing was her food, she should have bought it yesterday but then it slipped out of her mind.

She left the house and walked towards the center of the village. From her memory, the academy was located near Hokage tower. Thankfully, the road was rather deserted in the morning and she didn't receive an extra attention caused by the recent accident. She stopped in front of a store that already opened in the early morning and bought her foods then walked directly towards the academy. She saw a few children heading to the same direction looked at her then talked quietly.

Forty past seven, there was still some free minutes before the class started. Following the original's memory, she sat by herself on the seat near window. She checked the scenery outside then laid her eyes on several fast-moving people atop of building. What are they doing? Is that a normal human behavior or maybe this mode of transport was only normalized here in this world?

She heard a choked noises inside her head the remembered that she had another person – or not – inside her head. 'I didn't seem to remember your name last night? Who are you again?'

'Why don't you tell me who you are first? Then I'll tell you my name, it's only fair.' His voice indicated that he was confident this time, very different when you compared it to his quiet and subdued tone last night.

'I am not negotiating with you. Do you dare to bet that I won't be able to expel you from my head this time?' This was only a bluff, she had not yet been properly acquainted with this body to attempt it. 'Then maybe I can guess who you are. I think it's rather obvious, I'd like to say that you're this body's owner.'

'Hm, how do you know?'

'I didn't know, but now I know. Thankyou for confirming my guess.'

'…'

The bell rang, she drew her gaze from the window into the classroom. So many children, it had been such a long time since the last time she saw a group of children. Mini humans. She didn't know what they think when they surreptitiously looked at her. The door then opened and the teacher – Iruka – walked in front of the classroom and announced today's activities. They were rather simple, theory class in the morning then practical test for next period.

'So, what's your name?' He talked to her again after several minutes of silence.

'I don't have it.'

'Then, what should I call you with? I can't possibly continuously call you with just 'you'.'

'A name you say?. It has been quite long since I was called with any name.'

'Which name?'

'Number Nine, just call me number nine'.

'Nine?' He seemed to be curious but refrained himself from asking. I left him to ponder by himself. In front of the classroom, Iruka explained about kunai throwing theory involving mathematic angle and the likes. It was very simple and basic, she thought everyone could do it.

The lesson continued until the next practical period. She walked leisurely towards practice field and noticed that there were several rows of children from her classroom. She waited until Iruka came then called children's name one by one. Some of them had a better score than the other, and some of them also had a ridiculously low score. Very diverse.

"Uchiha Sasuke, you're next."

There was a few seconds of silence. 'Hey, it's your turn.'

She snapped out of her reverie and rather stiffly walked to the throwing spot. She relaxed herself a little bit then began to throw her kunai according yesterday practice. She scored eight out of ten bullseyes. Faintly she heard some excited muttering from her female classmates. The murmurs didn't stop until this period ended. At the end of this period, Iruka asked her to followed him to his office. He probably wanted to ask about her condition, she obliged.

"Sasuke you seem to be rather absentminded since this morning? Is there something bothering you?" He probably didn't want to ask directly about the massacre. Not that she blamed him that he didn't what to say or didn't know how to console his student.

"It's okay… sensei." She belatedly added. She tried to genuinely smile but it was way harder than she had thought it would be. Suddenly, the system's voice flared.

[Host, don't smile! That's OOC!] It shrieked inside her head, inducing her headache.

'What do you mean? Don't human usually smile to assure other people. I only follow human's code of conduct. Stop bothering me with that OOC alert alright? As long as the people here don't suspect anything how can you say that I'm OOC-ing my character? Look at Iruka, he seems quite relieved.'

[Host, what do you mean he's relieved. He looks worried alright? He's probably wondering is there something wrong with your heard right now.]

'Then I believe that my actions were correct. Of course not anyone can be sane after witnessing their family's death much less an eight year old kid.' This was based on experience, of course it was not her own experience. But the point still remained, change on behavior was normal in this type of situation.

[Whatever Host, I'll follow you. As long as you complete this world's story. But Host, hurry drop your smile. If you keep smiling like that, don't blame me if they decide to check your head.] She then dropped her smile and asked.

"Iruka-sensei, is there something else you need from me?" She tried to be friendly but it seemed that the system was correct this time. Her behavior ruffled him for quite a bit. Hm, she suppose that she would act more taciturn when she interacted with him.

"Yes, Sasuke where do you live right now?" This question, they seemed rather concerned for her decision to stay in the compound. She didn't there was anything wrong with it, private and quiet.

"At the compound."

"Are you sure with this decision?"

"Yes, very quiet."

He then informed her about her lessons and works that she didn't get to see for the last few weeks then sent her out for her lunch break. The period after lunch break taught the students about basic academy katas. Nothing special, but the girls seemed more exuberant than in the morning and their excited murmurs never left her until the school period was over.

Notes:

Few notable observations:
- She rarely respects other people and never call other people as her teacher, that's why she hesitated to call Iruka-sensei.
- The system do notice that she seems to talk with other people, but it just chalked it up as her madness.
- Sasuke is aware but he's still observing.
- Ah yes, she does filtered unnecessary noises. So, Sasuke's fangirls cheering just went through one of her ear to the other.
