Wendy glanced from the gooseberry pancakes she just made to matching smiles from the Lost Boys and Peter. She smiled with them.
Wendy glanced at the blue sky. Perfect moments for eating gooseberry pancakes. Captain Hook and his crew weren't around to cause trouble for them.
She remembered viewing him always attempting to capture Peter. A woman sometimes by Captain Hook's side.
Cecilia. A woman always wearing a white dress. Dark hair past her shoulders. One white mask with black ''eyes'' and a ''mouth'' concealing her face.
Sudden worry appeared in Wendy's eyes when she turned to one side of the table where the pancakes were.
''Are you going to eat any pancakes, Wendy?''
''Hmmm?'' Wendy faced Peter as he continued to smile. ''Oh. Right. I'll have a pancake,'' she said. Her eyes were on the table again. She expected Captain Hook to appear with the other pirates. Maybe Cecilia.
Eyes widened as soon as a woman appeared. One woman wearing the usual dress and mask.
''Cecilia?!''
The Lost Boys and Peter were too focused on eating their pancakes.
Frowning, Wendy expected Captain Hook to ambush everyone. Her body tensed as Cecilia approached her slowly. She wondered if Cecilia was going to attempt to capture everyone on her own.
Confused, Wendy tilted her head to the side the minute Cecilia walked to the table. When Cecilia lifted her mask so that her teeth were revealed. Wendy thought the latter turned to her and pointed at a pancake.
''Is Captain Hook here?'' Wendy asked.
Cecilia shook her head.
Another smile formed on Wendy's face before she nodded. She watched as Cecilia gave a slight nod and helped herself to a pancake.
One truce from the hungry woman.
