After a few quick moments of running through the Death star, Blake, Han, and Chewbacca snuck into the hanger where their ship landed. The three held close with their backs against the wall surveying the forward hanger bay watching the Imperial stormtroopers guard the Falcon.
"Didn't we just leave this party?" Solo asked Chewi, Chewbacca annoyedly growls a reply.
Blake was thinking the same thing. Of all that has happened today and with that fight with that Dark armored being that she could feel radiated with hate, anger, and evil. That man...no in Blakes mind being worse than anything and anyone the teen has met left fear in her. She was worried about the old man who may seem to fight him on even footing, but Blake was still concerned about him. She should have been there to help him.
She snapped out of her train of thought as Luke and the Leia join them, hiding with the three.
"What kept you?" Han asks Leia
"We ran into some old friends," Leia says, looking at the ship that is their only ticket out of this place filled with Stormtroopers and officers and, worse of all, the Dark Lord Vader.
"I had a run-in in a man in black with a red blade...I think his name was Vader." Blake says.
Everyone there stops and looks at Blake in various levels of shock. Heck, even Solo may not believe in the force, but he knows of the Emperors' personal Enforcer and what he's done. Suppose someone is an enemy and met him; it would be a miracle that they will make it out alive. In that case, Blake is fortunate right now that she survived the feared Enforcer of the empire, aka the most feared being in the galaxy who has killed many.
Luke was the first to snap out of it. They will talk about this later as he looks at the ship. "Is the ship all right?"
"Seems okay if we can get to it. Just hope the old man got the tractor beam out of commission." Solo says if not, they're dead, and if Vader gets his hands on them, it will worsen.
Unknown to them Vader and Obi-wan's duel made it close to their area. Vader and Kenobi continue their powerful engagement doing all they can to kill or block the other's strike. Vader gets frustrated and performs a force push sending his former Master against the wall. He throws his lightsaber at Kanobi, who barely manages to avoid it as Vader tried to behead him. Obi-wan rolls out the way as Vader uses the force to pull his lightsaber back with the force As they hit their lightsabers together again.
The Troopers standing guard spotted the fight. They look on in interest as the old Jedi and Dark Lord of The Sith fight. So they head to the area to see the battle closer between the two arch enemies.
As they watched the white armor's men go, Luke spots the battle from his group's vantage point.
"Look!" Luke says, pointing out the duel to everyone. Blake, Leia, Han, and Chewie look up and see Ben and Vader emerging from the hallways on the far side of the docking bay.
Blake was worried for the old man. She was wondering should she go up and help him, but something tells her that she will only get in the way.
Threepio and Artoo-Detoo moved out in the center of the Death Star's Imperial docking bay. The golden droid spoke to R2D2.
"Come on, Artoo, we're going!" Threepio ducks out of sight as the seven stormtroopers guarding the starship rush past them, heading towards Ben and The Sith Knight He and Artoo head to the ship then.
Solo, Chewie, Luke, and Leia tensely watch the duel, But Solo spoke. "Now's our chance lets go." The smuggler says.
They start to head for the Millennium Falcon.
Ben sees the troops charging toward him and realizes that he is trapped, but he knew they wouldn't shoot, only watch. Vader then takes advantage of Ben's momentary distraction and brings his mighty lightsaber down on the old Jedi. Ben manages to deflect the blow.
For Blakes group, they reach to the Falcon then, but Luke turns back to the duel with Blake next to him as Luke spoke. "Ben," Luke says, very worried for Obi-wan.
As if he heard him, the old Jedi Master looks over his shoulder at Luke and Blake and gives the two a smile which greatly confessed them.
'What is he doing!?' Blake mentally screamed with wide eyes, but her eyes went wider soon as Obi-Wan did next, shocked her more.
Ben lifts his sword away from Vader's and closes his eyes.
This left the Dark Lord confused but shook it off as an opportunity, one that he will take! He spoke just loud enough that Blake could hear him with her Faunus ears, making them twitch.
"Now you will die! "With those final words to his Master, Vader slashes his sword down on Ben Kanobi, cutting old Jedi in half. Ben's cloak falls to the floor in two parts, but instead of a dead body falling down like a ghost, Obi-wan had vanished without a trace.
Vader, puzzled at Ben's disappearance and pokes at the empty cloak.
But once Luke saw this, he yells in angst that echoed in the bay. "No!"
The stormtroopers hear him and immediately turn toward Luke and begin firing at him and his friends. Everyone was getting in the ship while Luke, transfixed by anger and awe, returns their fire, killing a few troops with Solo joining in the laser fire.
But Blake just stood there ignoring the blaster fire, some even going past her. Tears falling from her eyes once she saw the old man be struck down, sure she was confessed why he vanished. A stray thought was that he did what Blake did with her Semblance and made a clone, but Blake knew her heart Ben was dead and seeing the old man die hurt. She may know him for a short time, but she was getting attached to him. He was almost grandfatherly and kind. So seeing him die was just as painful as Adam cutting Yang's arm off.
Vader turned away from the empty cape to them once he came out of his confusion. He gazes upon the group, more specifically at Blake and the boy. Their teary eyes looking right at him and saw their despair, depression, helplessness, and anger. The anger was towards him. He could tell quite easily. Then, Vader began to advance toward them, as one of his troopers is struck down screams as he falls.
Seeing this, Solo yells to Luke. "Come on!" He fires at a trooper who moves his head before a bolt hits his head.
"Come on! Luke, it's too late!" Leia then looks at Blake, and she then began to shake her. "SNAP OUT OF IT!" She yells to her.
As she yells at her, Solo yells to Luke then. "Blast the door! Kid!" He says if Vader joins in. Solo knew they were dead, and Vader was worse than a large group of stormtroopers.
Even though he was lost in his anger, Luke fires his blaster at the door control panel, and it explodes. The door begins to slide shut. Three troopers charge forward-firing laser bolts at them still as the door slides to a close behind them, locking Vader and the other troops out of the docking bay, giving the crew more time. A stormtrooper lies dead at the feet of his onrushing compatriots.
Luke starts firing at the advancing troops as Blake snapped out of it, and Leia looks at her.
"I'm sorry that you lost your friend, but if we stay, his death will be in vain! We need to go now!" Leia says as Blake wipes the tears from her eyes.
"Yo-Your right," Blake says, but still wondered...why did Ben let himself die.
They then began to go in the ship Solo, and Leia moved up the ramp into the smuggler ship.
But Blake was last as she runs to Luke then to snap him out of his blind fury. "LUKE, COME ON. I DONT WANT TO LOSE ANYONE ELSE!" Blake says some tears wherein her eyes as she pulls on Luke's arm.
Luke looks at Blake, who gave him a pleading look to go, but a Voice in Luke's head convinced Luke to go now. It was Ben's voice. "Run, Luke! Run!" Luke looks around to see where the voice came from, and Blake looks at him confused.
Luke then turns to Blake then. "Your right." He says to Blake in a calmer tone as he grabbed her hand then. He turns toward the Smugglers ship ducking Imperial gunfire from the troopers along with Blake, and races into the ship then as the ramp closes off then.
Han rushes into the cockpit and pulls back on the controls. The ship begins to move, the dull thud of laser bolts bouncing off the ship's outside as Chewie adjusts his controls.
"I hope the old man got that tractor beam out of commission, or this is going to be a real short trip. Okay, hit it!"
Chewbacca growls in agreement that it was time to leave the second-worst time with imperials in his and Solo's lives. The Millennium Falcon lifts off and rushes away from the Death Star docking bay. Making a turn and disappearing into the vastness of space, then escaping from the Death Star.
As for Vader, he walks away, knowing the rest of the old man's group escaped, along with the tracking device he had his troops plant in the ship. Knowing this would happen, he then uses the force and pulls Obi-wan's lightsaber from his discarded cloak to his outstretched hand. He had done it, he slayed his former Master like a true Sith.
Obi-wan Kenobi was now one with the living force.
At the Falcon, Blake now had time to be by herself. Alone in an area of the Falcon, she just wanted to be alone and cried. Her weapon, broken halves discarded in another room, for she did not want to look at her failures. She just wanted to be left alone.
Blake has felt useless thus far in wanting to help everyone around here. She could not save Ben, feeling like maybe if she did not run into that Dark Lord, Ben would not have come out to fight Vader to save her and give her time to escape. He would have still been alive. And here with everyone if she did not run into Vader. Adam was Right about her Blake started to believe she was nothing but a coward who has someone fight her battles for her and end up dying around her.
After meeting the Sith, Blake now had developed more inner conflict and self-doubt than ever, leaving a deep scar. one that will never heal.
Note: Well...Kanobi is dead and now Blake is blaming herself for his death...Vader really took the Story for a dark turn the heroes may have saved the Princess but Blake has met a sith and now Ben is gone...
