Kagami had never been one for romance.
She was all good with being alone, and having a career.
But then she meet Adrien.
He was smart, kind, and handsome, not to mention her only real competition in fencing. After she met Adrien, she slowly started seeing herself with him. In a relationship.
Then there was Marinette. The sweet, clumsy girl who was so obviously in love with the blonde.
She felt sort of guilty wanting to have Adrien, when she knew marionette did too, but it wasn't her fault! Adrien would have to choose.
He did. He chose her. And Marinette chose Luka.
The short time they were together was wonderful. Getting ice cream together and sitting above the bay, getting out of practices to hang out together, but Adrien was keeping something from her. She could tell, it was clear as day.
It hurt a lot at first. After all she had done to be with him, did she really deserve this?
Does this have something to do with Marinette? She asks herself. The girl and Luka had recently broken up as well.
After being akumatized, she realized she should let it go. If he didn't want to be with her, she can't change his mind.
And if he doesn't trust me, that's his problem, she thought.
So she let him go. Run off free without her.
It hurt for a little, but she got over it. Realized there was more important things.
She watched Adrien and Marinette become closer over time, and slowly, Adrien obviously began to fall in love with her. Who wouldn't? She was perfect.
Years past, the hero's of Paris defeated hawkmoth, and everything was perfect.
Everything is just right.
Now Kagami is sitting alone on her couch, at the ripe age of 22. Theres a wedding invitation is her hands. Save the date: Marinette Dupan-cheng and Adrien Agreste.
She's going to go, and she's going to be happy for them. she's going to smile, and tell marinette she looks beautiful in her dress. She's going to give a toast to her two close friends marriage.
She knows they'll last. That they were meant for each other.
