Part 4 - Reactions of La Push People
After it was over, everyone in the town of La Push were in shock of how opened and honest former Bella Swan was, and to name people so openly too, it made them think this over very carefully, and most were in shocked anger and disbelief of what they had heard. Almost in seconds, another interview was on the tv, again it was Bella and her husband by her side, as she was being interviewed this time of ABC News for her book promotion, and one of them asked
"In the book it also mentioned another boy and his father, who were they as you didnt name them persay or did I miss that?" Bella said with a serious look on her face, as they could all see Matt holding onto her hand, as it seems to be difficult for her to talk about still to this day;
"Those two are not mentioned by name in the book, but they too deserves to be known of, as they were absolutely horrid towards me when it came to the trial of my former parents, Charles and Renee Swan. And those two were a friend of Charles, and his own son, their names are Jacob and William or Billy Black. William wanted me to tell them all it was all fake story and that his own friends had not done this to me, while his very much too young son only wanted me for I was now open for anyone to have sex and get married to, when he knew nothing of Love or what it is about of being in a marriage nor how to love someone for who they truly are behind the facade that you may put up for safety, as I did after what happened to me, as I did NOT allow anyone to touch me the way Matt did in the beginning of our relationship, that happened in College. He saved me from being a cold, distant woman, to become the strong, loving woman I am today, at least in his eyes I am."
Matt just kissed her cheek softly, as most of them in the room were in shock of hearing all of this being mentioned so publically. Rachel looked furious of what been said, as she knew nothing of this had happened even to Bella, her childhood friend. Paul was in total fury of this. Others ranged from that to total disbelief or just sat there with wide-open mouth of shock of what been said, as the reporter asked Matt
"I know you mentioned it, Matthew of how your reaction was when Bella told you her story, but what happened after that with you, as you now knew her entire story?"
Matt said while holding onto Bella's hand;
"At first she was absolutely terrified of losing me, for Bella told me just days earlier of her telling me her story, that she had fallen in love with me and she did not want to lose me as friend either if I didnt feel the same about her. Luckily I did and still do to this day love her the very same as I did back then, just so tremously happy and proud of her that she is finally able to tell her story and that is actually true story too. When she told me what those two she mentioned reacted at the trial, I was so furious and so filled of sorrow, that how could someone be so narrowminded and not care of their friends' daugther for what she been through is nothing no man or woman should ever have to go through. But sadly too many are still to this day, and I am so furious it still happens, not just to our native american women who disappears and are later found naked from a rape before being brutally killed for the assilaint wanted silent them forever so they could not tell on them. That is how I felt about Bella and her horrid story of her painful life that ended her childhood innocence, for she had NO one by her side in that court room besides her lawyers, the judge and the police men and women who took her in and took her story on fullest seriousness. Something that her own former father, who by the way was a police chief of Forks town, and to think he would allow this to happen to his own daugther, who else has he allow to go free or allow to be hurt in similar if not same way as Bella?"
Rachel sat in shock still, and others were in angered shock and disbelief. As Billy and Jacob now came into the room, and everyone turned to them with horrid looks on their faces, as Billy said
"Rachel what is going on here? Why are you all looking at us like that?" And before any of them could react or tell, they too now heard Bella's voice on the tv again after being asked a question they did not hear;
"I am very happy woman, I may not be completely healed from what I went through a 16 year old by the hands and action of Edward Cullen and my bastardized former parents, but I am happy that I am able to have a life and able to carry on my own legacy to my children, as I am right now pregnant with my first child with Matt, and we are really happy to have this chance to happen, as it took me alot of time to allow him near me that way and to let my guard down, for I really do want to be a mother too, just the fear of if it would be painful again, but Matt was truly amazing with me, and so patient and so there with me with each step of doing that with each other. He made me see that sex or any of the sexual nature could be the most beautiful thing to ever happen, just when it is with the right person and someone who loves and cares about you first then yourself second."
Rachel sat there in shock, as Emily squealed loudly from Sam who too had giant smile on his face, same with Paul, Jared and Kim. Rachel looked at him, as he said
"I am still a good friend, a loyal friend to Bells, to this day, and I am so exicted for her and Matt, as I got the chance the year before you and I met, Rach, to meet him too at their wedding day. Absolutely beautiful day for the two. And to the sounds of Emily, she too are really happy for her best friend."
Many were shocked, as he pulled his phone up, and texted as a giant message to Bells, and told her from him, Sam, Jared, Kim and Emily how happy they are for her and Matt, and congratulations on the book and the baby. As they heard now;
"Yes, we heard from the interview with Megyn Kelly that you are pregnant, so congratulations on that note, do you two know what you are going to have or will it be a surprise baby?"
Bella and Matt shared a look, then Matt said
"First when we did that we did not this at the time, but we are actually going to have twins in April next year, we just learned these news few days ago at the OB-GYN office, and we are exicted to tell you all that we are going to have one of each. One boy and one girl. So we are really happy with these news."
"Wow congratulations, is there any twins in your family?" Bella shook her head, as Matt said
"No, neither of our families have them, so we are first generation to be lucky to have twins as first timers. But they will be loved and cared for, so much better than most think."
Emily squealed alot louder at these news, while Kim wept in Jared's chest and he too was emotional mess like Sam too was. Rachel sat in shock of this, while Jacob and Billy were furious to hear it all being out there. Quil and Embry were in shock of hearing what Jacob had said and tried to do with Bella, while Seth alittle too young sat in his mother's lap and was abit frighten of this going on, and Leah luckily was not here, but if she was, well lets say her reactions would be to punch the daylight out of Jacob, and yell her throat all dry at Billy.
Sue, Harry (Seth and Leah's parents), Joshua, Alison (Sam's father and mother aswell father of Embry.), Tiffany (Embry's mother), Michael (Paul's father), Hanna (Paul's mother), Maria (Jared's mother), Alexander (Jared's father) and lastly Kim's parents (whose names are Jenny and Nathan.) sat with Old Quil by their side and Quil Jr's mother Joy also were there, and all of them had shock, anger, tears down their cheeks and just plain disbelief on their faces of what being revealed on the tv right now.
Jenny who had been raped in her youth, and had Jared as young teenager herself, and Jared knew all this too of course as he was wondering about himself when he too was a teenager, and she told him then, and Nathan being the best step-father consoled him through that night of being told the truth of his parentage, she was now furious and looked over at Billy, and all she said
"You are fucking bastard, Billy, How dare you and your son act like that?! Huh? How dare you dimininze her pain and her story to be "fake", when you fucking can't fake something like that?!" Nathan held her in his arms, while she now cried in them, and Jared went over to his mother and father, and just held an hand on his mom's shoulder to show his silent support, as Kim said gently almost shyly
"J, what is going on with Jen?" Jared sighed, as Jenny said then
"For I know what she went through, for I too was raped as teenager. So I know what the pain is for Bella to go through something like that, but that her own fucking parents did this with Edward Cullen and his fucked parents I cant believe it, but I am so fucking pissed and sad for her, as she had none of us there to support us, if we only had known, I would fucking fight for her rights to be heard and that her story is fucking truth already back then."
Many were shocked of her swearing, aswell what she told them. Jared just hugged her gently as he knew this did still hurt her and made her feel those feelings to come up again for her. And his hug or kiss on cheek always made her get out of the state, and Nathan just held his wife closer to himself and she just smiled softly at both of them, as Kim then came over and gave them all a hug of her own, and kissed Jared softly, as she said
"I too believe you both, Jen, I may not know what you two been through, but see the pain in both of your eyes, yours and Bells, I know how true that is, for you can never fake something like that up, just for someone moronic, too young fool does not know better than what they been taught to believe in. That is not love nor parenting whatsoever. I really hope we wont do that for our child, J."
Many looked over at the two, as Jared just smiled and held her in his arms, as Jen looked up and said
"Are you two expecting, J, Kimmy?" At that her own parents also in the room started and her mother burst in tears, as Kim nodded, as the two's hands linked over her belly area, as Jared said
"Yep, we are and we are also due in april like Bells and Matt are. Just one baby though, but still such welcomed gift afterall."
Many cheered for the two, while Jacob and Billy sat back in sulking childish manner behind them, forgotten for now.
"Does Bells or Matt know your news, J?" Sam asked, as Jared said
"She was the one who told us that Kimmy might be pregnant due to what we told Bells of the symptoms, and we went straight to store and bought like 10 boxes of tests and all showed positive, and after that we made an appointment with an OB-Gyn in Forks, and there it was confirmed pregnancy and that Kimmy was at then week 14, now we are at week 18. And we too know the sex of our baby."
Many were shocked of this being told, as Kim turned to her and J's emotional parents, and said
"Congrats you four, for you are going to be grandparents of our son in april."
Many cheers broke out here and hugs being given out to the two expecting parents. As soon it calmed down, J's phone rang and it showed Bella's name, and he grinned wider, as he said
"Hi Bells, how are you doing?" Bella smiled on the other side, and said
"I am doing really well in my pregnancy, they are kicking around like boxing match going on in there. Matt is also here, and we are so exicted that we are expecting on same time, J, Kimmy, did you also find out the sex of your baby?"
"Yes, and we are going to have a little boy in April, B."
And all of them could hear hers and Matt's happy cheers, as Bella sniffled then, said emotionally
"Oh J, Kimmy, you are going to be the best parents ever to that little boy of yours that is growing in you, Kimmy. I just know it that you are going to be."
"Just like we know you are going to be too." Bella smiled as she heard Sam say that, as she said
"Oh it is so good to hear your voice too, Sammy. I miss you all so much."
"Why dont you come for a visit soon, Bells?"
"Actually if you open that front door of yours, you will find a surprise there."
At that most of them were confused, but the front door was opened up by Emily, they all saw Matt and Bella standing there, and Bella had a huge belly now. Emily squealed and hugged Bella tightly as she could, and Bella just hugged the clearly emotional woman back. Matt just smiled at the sight of the two hugging like that, as he said
"Hi guys, surprise!". Many of them gasped, then went forward to greet the two with hugs or hand-shakes in Matt's case as they had not met him before today. But he was just happy to meet Bella's true friends and somewhat true family members in her life.
Josh said
"Oh it is so good to see you again, and you do look so much better and happy too, babygirl."
At that she just smiled and ran into his wide-open arms and held onto him, as she saw him as a father figure to herself, and she had missed him and Alison, whom she saw as an extra mother figure, alot too. She then hugged Alison and the rest of the parents. She ignored the fact that Jacob or Billy was even there too.
After few Jacob couldn't help himself, and said
"You didnt miss me, Bells?" And Bella shuddered of that name being said, and Matt said
"Clearly you don't still get it, boy, she did not miss you or your father over there at all, afterall you didnt believe her then, why should you now, just for your names were said on tv or what else?" As he then held Bella in his arms, as she did not like that name and he knew why too, and just told her in her ear, as they could see the panic attack coming, but fading fast while Matt said something in her ear only, and she then turned into his arms, and held onto him, while he just held her, as he rocked her gently back and forth. Jenny and Nathan who knew about this behaviour, shared a look, then Jenny went up, and gently said
"My dear, you are not alone here, it is ok, you are not there. We are all here for you, and you only, aswell for Matt, who is your loving, caring husband, who loves you more than anything in the world. You and the twins means everything to him."
Most were shocked to see how she looked like as she turned to look at Jenny, as she only said in monotone voice
"You have been there too?" At that Jenny nodded, as Bella then just went into her open arms and held the girl for few moments, as she wept in her shoulder, and everyone could hear the gut-wrenching sobs from the girl in her arms. And they cringed and just stood back. Matt sighed of relief, that she finally had found someone who had been through the same, as a comrade. Nathan went over to his side, and said
"Bella will be fine now, son. My wife who has been through it before she and I got married, and she had Jared at the time too, will help her now hopefully at least. They both needed this, to be closed for good and let it go. Jenny may been letting it go for long time now, but to hear what Bella has been through it opened up those wounds in her again, and to now having you both here, it will help them both. Believe me it will."
Matt nodded his head, as he just smiled when Bella then turned to him, and said
"Sorry, Matt." At that he just pulled her gently in his arms, and said
"There is nothing to be sorry about, baby. You two needed this clearly, baby. And I am glad you got it too. For you need it to be able to move forward and not stay afraid anymore. I know that name triggered you for that was what your former, bastardized father used to call you. And that is something that boy over there did not know or if he did, he clearly has no chance on you whatsoever, for you are my wife, my person, and most of all my brave pregnant woman and I love you and will do so to my undying breath takes me to the next world."
Bella looked up at him, and tearfully she was still, and the two shared a very passionate kiss right there and then, as she then said in Lakota, a different language in the others' ears;
"And I will love you until the very end of our long-lasting loving life together, Matt. I only will love you until that day. You, the twins and our families will be my life from now on."
And that he kissed her again, while her hands went up into his long black hair, and he just held her waist gently in that very love-filled kiss that she then gave him. Soon they pulled away and looked around at shocked audience, as Sam was first to ask them;
"What was that you spoke of, Bella?" Bella just smiled, as she said
"It was Lakota, my husband and I's language, well second language, as it is a part of our tribe back in South Dakota. Kul Wicase Oyate Sioux or Sioux-Lakota tribe that is the name of our tribe back home. I apparently found out to be part of a cheyenne tribe that died out after the white killed the tribe I was part of, but luckily one of them, my many times great-grandfather survived the attack and took off to Washington state, and started a new life with a new name and history of his family. But his name was back then Black Wolf."
Many of them were shocked to hear this, as Jacob stupidly again said
"Then you could have been mine afterall." Bella gave him a look of being sick, and said
"No, for you were not an interest of mine, Jacob Black, for I dont still love or like you even to this day, I dont like you in that way, and nor will I ever. And also little Jacob, I am very happily married to this man behind me, and also carrying his children in me, as I really wanted to become a mother and move on with my life. Now I am able to do so, for now I feel that I can finally do so. Those who wronged me, will reap what they tried to sow and what happened with the media folks, well lets say they will think twice or thrice of ever behaving the way they did to me those days after the trials. As of now, they all will be served with papers that if they do not apologise to me publically weither it is on live tv or in the papers, they will face charges of being absolutely horrid people who deserves hell of a record on their marks. Same papers will go to Charles, Renee, Carlisle and Esme as they will have to from now on pay me back for the damage they all caused me, and Edward well he too will have to pay me back for his cowardice painful thing he did to me that september night of hell. They will sit and rot in jail unless one of the inmates, who does not like child predator or child rapist, they will suffer alot in there from now on, and I do not have a care in me to even care about what happens to them in there, for they deserves it all to happen in first place."
Many were in shock of what she said, while Jacob stood back sulking like a little child he still potrayed himself despite being now 18 years old and supposed to act like an adult. Billy was furious looking, as Bella turned to him
"Why the hell are you even still furious at me, when I said the fucking truth, your son is one the verge becoming a fucking stalking sex predator if you don't reign him in and teach him from rights and wrongs, aswell how to treat women and girls with respect. But no, he can do nothing wrong in your eyes, as he is your fucking prince and precious son who can't do wrong. Well look where that got Edward to be at, in prison for what he, his parents and my disgusting former parents did to me. I am no longer that shy, introverted girl, but damn it did nothing to what happened to me either, for I won in the end for a price of losing my parents and my life all together. For many times since then, before I met Matt, I tried to take my own life in college, for who would want a damaged, dirty girl like myself, that is how bad it was for me back then, and when Matt came into my life, he saved me from it all, and made me realise that I am strong, I am loveble and most of all he loves everything that I am as a person. Not to be a fucking trading whore or toy to play with its emotions, I am fucking human being, Billy, and I am fucking woman and I can stand up for myself and others like myself, something you never thought I would be able to after what happened to me. Well look at me now, and see how strong I am now."
Matt just grinned as she laid it all out on those two moronic fools, and the two were alot smaller looking too, and the others clapped their hands and cheered for her speech to those two. Rachel looked abit torn of course, as they were her father and brother. So she said nothing for now. Paul who was closest to Bella, just high-fived with her smiling like fool too whilst doing so with her.
Emily after it had calmed down abit, asked
"And that girl that your brothers helped out, Matt, what happened there?" Bella just smiled at this, as she said instead
"Oh I am so proud of those boys, and the girl is now in our custody, as it turns out that her own mother didnt want to believe her story or in her, in what she been through, and so after just saying some words, we decided to take her into our lives and have her adopted as our daugther, so she lives with us now, and she is thriving in her own healing process, and the boys, Ryan and Jr are doing really good too, as they were praised and hailed as heroes to done this for Mia. Mia and the boys are really good friends still to this day, as she knows she doesnt have to call us both mom or dad if she does not want to, but she does, and we are so honoured to be her new, better parents now too. For she deserves nothing but a better life and to know she is loved by us no matter what."
"Wow, what a beautiful thing you did for Mia then."
"It was not hard to think on, as we both felt in our hearts after hearing what her own mother wanted her to do, and re-enacted the story to be faked, but she stood on her own two feet and stood up for herself against her former mother, and told her that she would not do so, for that would mean she lied too, that was not in her to do. So she went ahead and did it with Ryan, Jr and our other brother that came to fetch them from school to the police station, Eddie. Who too was pissed off when the call came to him about what was going on. He just took off and fetched them and took them to the station and stayed there until they were done hours later. Mia is an amazingly brave young girl, and she will grow to become a beautifully, strong woman in time of healing and growing up as she should be."
Matt said, as Bella just snuggled up into his side, while others just smiled at this softly to themselves. Jenny said
"You will be amazing parents then to those two too in your belly, Bella."
Bella just smiled nodding to herself, as she said
"And before any of you asks, she knows my own history, not at length of the book's details, but most of it, as she still abit too young to know the full extent of it, but due to being through it herself, she understood what I had been through around same age herself is now."
Many just smiled at this, while those two who been quiet glared at this still to this point. Rachel still looked abit indifferent of this all. Paul could see that in his girlfriend's face, and just frowned abit, but hid it from her to see it, but Bella did and gave him a look to tell her later in more privacy, and he nodded only once. His parents had seen it too, and they were worried for their son.
Matt said to the shock of them,
"Hey Paul was it, why dont you and I with Bella and only us three, take a stroll on this beach around here, that I hear is great one?"
He nodded, and the three left the house, with the others wondering of what was going on, and Rachel went then to her father and brother, the three left for now too to go home for now.
