Preparations for the Inevitable

Having been called away from the battle against the Middle Eastern Federation to personally look over a new find in Area 11, Cornelia li Britannia, Second Princess as well as Chief General of the Holy Britannian Empire, was surprised to see not only her older half-brother, Prime Minister Schneizel el Britannia, but also their father, Emperor Charles zi Britannia, waiting for her arrival alongside Clovis at the classified facility within the Tokyo Settlement. While Cornelia had not been briefed about what Clovis's forces had found, and initially doubted it was relevant enough to warrant even her presence much less the Emperor's attention, she was not expecting to see a highly advanced spaceship of clearly alien origin within the facility.
"In the name of Saint Darwin!" The Second Princess exclaimed aloud before noticing the amused expressions of her half-brothers, and that their father was still nearby. Recomposing herself, she then said. "Apologies, Your Majesty."
In a rare moment, Charles actually smiled at her as he replied. "That's alright, my child. Even I was on the verge of crapping myself when I was informed of it and its passenger as well."
"Passenger?" Cornelia could not help but ask, even if it was unnecessary.
Showing a relaxed look, Clovis gestured his father and half-siblings to follow him as the four observed an unconscious, red-skinned Humanoid in a hospital bed. As Cornelia absorbed the alien's appearance, she heard Clovis say. "At first, I thought it would be best to let nature take it's course and study this creature postmortem, but that seemed premature since we don't know if he's the start of a future invasion, so we'll keep him alive long enough to preform tests at the very least."
Schneizel replied. "A pragmatic stratagem, brother. I trust that our engineers are also making headway into understanding the spacecraft?"
"It'll take some time, but I'm optimistic that Director Asplund and General Asprius will have some incredible breakthroughs eventually."
Before further conversation could take place, Charles said aloud. "Clovis, when this alien wakes up, and we have a fair idea of communicating with him, let me speak with him alone at the first opportunity."
"Father?" Clovis wondered in surprise, and a similarly shocked Cornelia and Schneizel could not blame their younger half-brother for it. Receiving a glare from the Emperor, however, prompted Clovis to sheepishly nod. "Yes, of course, Your Majesty. At the first opportunity it is then."

After becoming a Green Lantern, Lelouch spent a good deal of time training with his Power Ring to get a handle of what he could do with it. Thankfully, Sayoko's martial arts experience and her advice to him about it was a significant boon to his efforts, and Lelouch felt he was more than ready to make a difference on his planet as he later reminisced on the same rooftop he received the Ring.
However, at that exact time, the Power Ring glowed on its own, covered Lelouch's body in green energy, and then, much to his own surprise, propelled him from Earth to Space.
"Where are you taking me?!" He demanded of the Ring as the energy surrounding his form kept him from dying in Space.
"Green Lantern 2814 has been recalled to Oa for intense training." The Ring's artificial responded in a matter-of-fact tone of voice.
"Oh, boy." Lelouch groaned in response at the news. While he expected something like this to happen eventually, it was too soon for his taste.
Still, despite the impromptu transportation, Lelouch could not happen but admire the sights as he voyaged past his home solar system to see new planets Humanity had not yet traveled to before he eventually arrived on the desert world of Oa. While it was not a pretty looking planet from an Outer Space perspective, Lelouch had to admit that the Green Lantern Corps' headquarters was impressive to look at.
His enjoyable seeing of the sights had to end, though, when Lelouch felt Green Power Ring energy grab hold of his waist, and pull him towards the piggish bulldog-like alien Green Lantern that had captured him. With a somewhat sinister smirk, the Green Lantern replied. "Quit standing there, poozer. It's time for you to get trained up, Kilowog-style."
At those two sentences, Lelouch felt dread as he internally thought to himself. 'This is going to suck.'

I decided to end this as a short story since I have grown to accept that writing a crossover like this for the long term will be considerably harder for me to handle compared to writing the events of Voltron: Legendary Defender with Code Geass characters taking the Earthling roles. I also wanted to write a Lelouch/Villetta lemon that I appropriately named Subordinate Excuses, but I guess I took a break from writing lemons for so long, I forgot how to add that crucial touch in my fanfiction. Nonetheless, anyone is welcome to give a shot at either a Green Lantern Lelouch story, or a lemony depiction of him with Villetta Nu.
