Edited: Hey guys! For some reason, whenever I post something, I have to repost it because Fanfiction automatically formats it differently. So when I previewed my work, I see all these codes in between words. Sorry if you thought this was an update on the story. I'm working on it!

A/N: Hey! So I know it's been literally an entire year since I've updated… and I just noticed that on previous author's notes I was writing "anyways" instead of the grammatically correct "anyway".

Ewww. I can't believe I used to spell it that way. So ANYWAY, here is your latest update on the story.

I have a really cool idea which is going to involve some super cool stuff.

Maybe you can guess it? If you can, go ahead and write it in a review… I want to see what you guys come up with!

Sorry this is a short chapter… It's going to get good. I promise ;)

Jack bursted through the doors of North's workshop.

"LILY!" He screamed. "LILY, PLEASE! ANSWER ME!"

To his horror, there was no reply. It was completely empty.

Chairs and supplies were strewn about the floor, unfinished toys were knocked over or smashed.

And in the very center of the building? A pile of fine, black sand.

Jack kneeled beside it, picking it up in his hands, clenching it inside his fists. He trembled fiercely; the sand burning him.

But he refused to give in to pain. His icy blue eyes flashed a brilliant orange.

Heat surged through his body; a feeling he had never felt before.

It burned like he'd swallowed an open flame, but he felt power. Unbelievable strength.

He was going to save her.
