A/N: Hey guys! Honestly, this story is so old that I doubt anyone is reading it anymore.

It's literally been a year and a month since my last update. I'd gotten a rogue fan fiction email the other day and ready story through again.

Decided to update just to see how many people would actually read it. By the way… there are so many grammatical errors in my writing before XD

I hope you find it to be a little smoother in this update. Hope you enjoy!

I really do have some good ideas for this story and this is where it should be getting really good ;)

P.S. I've also gotten complaints about the format of my writing so I'll add spaces between each line so it's easier to keep your place.

REVIEW IF YOU REALLY DO WANT ME TO CONTINUE WRITING THIS!

Lily's eyes opened slowly. Like a camera that was out of focus, she could seem only to see the blurry shapes of things around her.

Her head was pounding with pain and her whole body seemed to be on fire.

She blinked to clear her vision and the first things she saw were metal bars. Confused, she struggled to sit up.

She realized now why she felt so hot. The surface she'd been laying on was radiating heat.

She grabbed one of the bars in front of her and yelled as she felt it burn her hand.

She brought her hand to her lips, breathing cold air onto it in an effort to stop the burning sensation.

Lily sighed with relief as her hand cooled off and stopped hurting. She looked around her and became aware that she was in some sort of cage.

The room around her was dark and earthy. She squinted, trying to see past the veil of shadows and gloom.

"I see that you've come to." Lily whipped her head around trying to locate the source of the voice.

"What do you want," she asked into the darkness.

"If you must know," the voice replied, "I'm after one thing and one thing only. I want to make those guardians suffer and I want to wipe them off the face of this Earth."

Silence hung in the air for a few seconds before Lily asked, "Why?"

Sinister laughter echoed off the walls as the voice replied, "They ruined me. Made me invisible. They stuck me in this wretched hole to fade away for nobody to remember."

Lily pondered over this for a few seconds.

"And what exactly is the name that nobody will remember?"

More laughter filled the room. "Oh, Lily Winter. Don't you already know?"

A figure clothed in black emerged from the shadows, a heinous smile playing on his face.

"The name… is Pitch Black."
