A month has passed by since the death of Hidan and Kakuzu which forced the akatsuki to go back into hiding. Naruto and Tayuya have been spending a lot of time together being on missions, walking around the village or just relaxing at home talking to each other. Tayuya managed to control her lava kekkei genkai and learn some of the jutsus that Mei left for her. Thanks to Naruto always being around, the village was somewhat saved from Tayuya's wrath whenever she was pissed off, but Naruto would sometimes let her release her frustrations on something if she gave him a pleading look.
If Naruto and Tayuya weren't alone, they were hanging out with Ino and Sakura much to Naruto's dismay since all they wanted to do was go shopping. He tried to bribe Tayuya so he wouldn't have to go, but he had no such luck. Naruto now had to get a new place because Tayuya kept buying new stuff and his apartment was crowded with her clothes. One day he lied saying that he had a meeting with Tsunade when in reality, he went to buy a huge plot of land to build a compound. Currently Naruto was laying on the couch with Tayuya laying on top of him fast asleep and then there was a knock on the door.
"Who is it?" Naruto asked
"Lady Tsunade has requested your presence." An anbu member said
"Alright." Naruto said and the anbu left
"Tayuya, you have to get up." Naruto said and shook her a bit
"I'm on vacation. Leave me alone." Tayuya mumbled
"I need to go see Granny Tsunade." Naruto said
"What does big tits want now?" Tayuya asked
"I don't know. It must be serious if she sent an Anbu member to get me instead of Sakura." Naruto said and she sighed
"Fine. Take me to the room first." Tayuya said
"What's the magic word?" Naruto asked

"Sorry, but you're being teamed up for this mission." Tsunade said
"What is it?" Naruto asked
"Some of Jiraiya's spies have told him about an island off the coast of the land of waves and I want you to check it out." Tsunade said
"That's one of Orochimaru's bases." Naruto said
"I know, but Jiraiya placed some spy toads around there and nobody has seen anybody on that island, but they reported that there's a prison there. I want you to go there and gather whatever you can. Once you gather everything you can, destroy the hideout and return immediately." Tsunade said
"Alright. Who's my partner?" Naruto asked and somebody knocked on the door
"Come in!" Tsunade said and Naruto knew this person's chakra signature
"You must want Tayuya to kill me." Naruto said
"I was going to pair you with Neji, but he was needed as a guard for Hiashi Hyuga on a diplomatic mission." Tsunade said
"Good evening, Lady Tsunade. Hi, Naruto." Hinata said
"Tayuya's going to kill me." Naruto thought
"I don't think she'd kill you, but you might wish you were dead." Kurama said
"Ha ha. Very funny." Naruto thought
"I want you to leave as soon as possible. Naruto, you're in charge. Dismissed." Tsunade said and Hinata left
"Have my grave and tombstone ready. I might not make it to the mission." Naruto said
"I'll see what I can do and hurry back. Parent day is coming up and I'd like you to be here." Tsunade said and gave him a smile
"I won't keep you waiting." Naruto said and vanished
Naruto's house
"You have a mission?" Tayuya asked, as she just came out the shower and was drying her hair
"Yeah. I have to go to one of Orochimaru's hideouts and search the place." Naruto said and that caught her attention
"Really? Which one?" Tayuya asked
"The southern hideout." Naruto said, as he was sealing his stuff away
"Ah. That one. I can't tell you anything about it since I've never been there." Tayuya said and Naruto looked at her
"That's alright. Makes the mission a lot more interesting." Naruto said and moved his eyes to her chest
"I know you're looking at them, Naruto." Tayuya said
"Can't help it. They're nice and soft." Naruto said
"You can have them when you get back. When do you leave?" Tayuya asked
"As soon as I'm done packing." Naruto said and sealed his stuff away
"Are you going alone?" Tayuya asked and wrapped her towel around her body
"No. I have somebody coming with me." Naruto said

"Hinata." Naruto said and Tayuya tackled him to the ground

"Hinata. Granny wanted me to leave with Neji, but Hiashi needed him for a diplomatic mission." Naruto said
"SHE COULD'VE CHOSEN A DIFFERENT HYUGA TO GO ON THIS MISSION WITH YOU. NOT THAT BITCH." Tayuya yelled and Naruto just pulled her in for a kiss which always calmed her down
"Relax. You have nothing to worry about. You know I won't do anything." Naruto said
"It's not you I'm worried about. Don't think I forgot about her using her Byakugan to try and get a look at you in the hot springs last week when we rented the place out for a day." Tayuya said
"She tried to, but she couldn't. I had a barrier set up around us that blocked out the Byakugan." Naruto said
"She still tried it and now she's going to be with you alone on a mission." Tayuya said

"Sorry I'm late, Hinata." Naruto said as he walked up to her with Tayuya holding onto his arm
"It's okay, Naruto. Is she coming with us?" Hinata asked

"Lady Tsunade? Are you okay?" Shizune asked
"I'm fine. I just need some time to think." Tsunade said
"Of course, M'lady." Shizune said, as she left with Tayuya and as soon as the door closed Tsunade shed a few tears
"That idiot." Tsunade said and pulled out a piece of paper before filling it out
Land of waves
After a few days of traveling and ignoring Hinata, Naruto and Hinata finally made it to the land of waves. Hinata was surprised to see Naruto had a bridge named after him and that he teamed up with Zabuza Momochi. As they walked through the land of waves, Naruto was greeted by everyone there since he was their hero and they loved him. They walked around a bit longer and Naruto stopped at the grave of Zabuza and Haku to say a prayer before going to Tazuna's house.
"Who is it?!" A voice asked

"Out with some friends. He should be back in a few hours if you'd like to wait for him." Tsunami said
"Sorry, but I can't. I'm on a mission and I need a boat to take us somewhere off the coast." Naruto said
"How far?" Tazuna asked
"Middle of the south ocean." Naruto said
"I'm afraid we can't get that far from over here. The whirlpool islands are there and we can't get past the whirlpools." Tazuna said
"That's because you didn't have me there. Only me and two other people can stop the whirlpools for us to safely sail past." Naruto said
"How?" Tazuna asked
"The whirlpools we're created by the Uzumaki clan to protect themselves from invaders. Only someone of Uzumaki blood can stop the whirlpools from spinning. The land is safe for anyone to live in since I took everything belonging to the Uzumaki clan and destroyed all buildings for new settlement." Naruto said
"This entire time I never put them together." Tazuna said
"Nobody did. Oh and this is Hinata Hyuga. She's my partner for this mission." Naruto said
"Nice to meet you, Hinata." Tazuna said
"Yes, likewise." Hinata said with a blank expression

"You have the Uzumaki tracking seal on your hand, correct?" Kurama asked

"In one of the files you had from Orochimaru's base, I saw the name Karin Uzumaki in it. Perhaps she's the one watching this hideout." Kurama said
"I don't know. Wouldn't he want to keep the only Uzumaki he has close to him?" Naruto thought
"Not unless he knew she'd be useful for something. She did look pretty smart in the photo I saw of her." Kurama said
"I'll activate the seal once we get closer to the hideout." Naruto thought and then he arrived at the docks
"Tazuna, how can I help you today?" A man asked
"Naruto and his teammate need to go out past the whirlpool islands. Naruto can stop the whirlpools and they just need to get to the middle of the south ocean." Tazuna said
"There's a slight problem." The man said
"Didn't you just hear him say that Naruto can stop the whirlpools?" Hinata asked rather arrogantly
"You misunderstand me. While I do believe Naruto can stop the whirlpools, the boat is only good enough for one trip there and then I'll be stranded. We're still recovering and haven't gotten the supplies for a new boat yet. I can't take that risk, Tazuna. I have a family and my wife is currently 7 months pregnant." The man said
"I can get you back here as soon as we reach our destination and help wave out again." Naruto said
"How?" Tazuna asked
"That kunai let's me teleport me and whoever I'm touching to it no matter how far away I am. He can be back here in less than a second. As for the help to wave, I can help you get in contact with The Land of Springs leader." Naruto said
"How?" The man asked
"I'm good friends with Koyuki. I'm sure she'll help you out. Plus, she may want to shoot a movie here after she visits. Think of the money and population that would generate." Naruto said
"Alright. I'll take you. Just make sure I make it back in one piece. The name is Bikou." Bikou said
"Can we just go already?" Hinata asked and got on the boat
"That's some partner you've got with you." Bikou said
"She wouldn't be my first choice, but she has an ability that is useful to us. She can guide us to the place we need to go." Naruto said
"Is it possible for me to let my wife know I'm leaving?" Bikou asked
"Of course. I need to grab something anyway." Naruto said
"We head out in twenty minutes." Bikou said and walked away
"I'll be back, Hinata." Naruto said
"Where are you going?" Hinata asked
"To pick up something that I probably should've been using since the last time I was here." Naruto said
"Hurry back. You wouldn't want to leave me here all alone." Hinata said
"I'm actually okay with that." Naruto said and vanished
Ship
After splitting up to do what they needed, Naruto and Bikou headed back to the ship for the journey to the southern ocean. Naruto was sitting down relaxing on the boat listening to the birds fly around and the waves crashing. Everything would've been better had it not been for Hinata getting seasick and constantly throwing up every five minutes. Naruto was able to get them past the whirlpool islands thanks to him adding his blood into the whirlpools. When the crew asked how he did that, he told him it's an Uzumaki secret which was true. There was a blood seal that kept the whirlpools going and only an Uzumaki could stop them.
"Hinata, use your Byakugan to see if it's anything out there." Naruto said and she nodded after wiping her mouth
"There's an island about ten miles south of here. There's multiple chakra signatures there, but they all seem tainted except for one. Whoever it is must be a sensor since they just looked right in my direction." Hinata said
"That's the southern hideout. Keep your guard up. Anything can happen." Naruto said and looked at the glowing whirlpool symbol on his hand
"What is that?" Hinata asked
"I guess you were right, Kurama. She's obviously here." Naruto thought
"Yes and it seems her sensing ability is as strong as yours. If she was able to look directly at the Hyuga girl who's barely using any chakra, she must be able to sense any size chakra signature no matter how small, but I don't think she can detect you since you also have that ability and are able to completely suppress your chakra." Kurama said
"Then we have the element of surprise on our side if she can't detect me. That works just in case she decides to become hostile. I'll be able blind her by releasing all my chakra at once." Naruto thought
"That should momentarily stun her sensing ability." Kurama said
"This should be interesting. I wonder if she likes pranks." Naruto thought
"That's what you're worried about?" Kurama asked
"I mean she's a potential enemy, but she's also an Uzumaki. From the notes in old man Ashina's journal, there hasn't been a day in Uzushiogakure when somebody didn't get pranked. Pranking is literally in her DNA." Naruto thought
"Sometimes you make me feel proud of being sealed inside of you and then your dumb side comes out. Your genes are a blessing and a curse." Kurama said
"I like to think of myself as perfectly balanced." Naruto thought
"At Least you're not that same orange jumpsuit wearing idiot from three years ago." Kurama said
"Tell me about it." Naruto thought
"The Hyuga is trying to get your attention." Kurama said
"Yeah I know." Naruto thought
"What do you want, Hinata?" Naruto asked
"I've been calling your name for 10 minutes." Hinata said
"I was thinking about something." Naruto said

"Not a chance. What do you want?" Naruto asked
"Bikou said that with the winds dying down, that we'd be stuck here until they pick back up." Hinata said
"I'll handle it." Naruto said and created a shadow clone
"What's up, boss?" The clone asked
"I really should have Inoichi look into this." Naruto thought
"I need you to create a constant gust of wind so the ship can keep sailing to our destination." Naruto said
"You got it. Nice rack, Hinata." The clone said and she blushed
"Thank you." Hinata said
"Tayuya's are still bigger and better though." The clone said and created a gust of wind to keep the boat moving
"Alright. That should keep us going until we reach the southern hideout." Naruto said
"Why don't you want to spend time with me, Naruto?" Hinata asked
"Because my girlfriend will kill me, revive me and then kill me again. Oh and she doesn't like you." Naruto said
"Sounds abusive if you ask me." Hinata said
"That's why I didn't ask you." Naruto said
"I still can't believe you chose an outsider over me." Hinata said
"I still can't believe you used to stalk me when I was a kid, but you don't see me complaining." Naruto said
"When you two break up, I'll be there waiting." Hinata said
"Not going to happen. You see, I plan on staying with her for the rest of my life. Which means getting married, having kids and eventually dying with her as my wife. You have a zero percent chance at ever being with me." Naruto said and walked away leaving a fuming Hinata
Southern hideout
After another hour of sailing, they finally arrived at the southern hideout and Hinata was creeped out by it. True to his word Naruto took Bikou back to wave thanks to his Hiraishin and came back in an instant. They walked around looking for the entrance for about 10 minutes until they came up to a pair of double doors. Naruto removed the kubikiribocho that he grabbed in wave and sliced the doors open so they could enter. As they walked around the hideout, Hinata saw multiple prisoners and inched closer to Naruto since she was a bit freaked out. As they kept walking, they went into an office and stopped when a red haired girl with glasses stood in front of them.
"Stop. Who are you?" The girl asked
"Naruto Uzumaki." Naruto said
"Bullshit. All Uzumaki are dead." The girl said
"That's where you're wrong. I'm talking to one right now, Karin Uzumaki." Naruto said and her eyes widened
"H-How do you know my name?" Karin asked
"I raided one of Orochimaru's bases and found a folder with your information on it. Don't try to say you're not her because my seal only glows when another Uzumaki is around." Naruto said and showed her the seal on his hand
"Why do you have that seal? Only the clan head should have that seal." Karin said
"Well, I'm the clan head. There are only four Uzumaki left alive with you being the last pure blooded Uzumaki. I'm half because my mother was Kushina Uzumaki." Naruto said
"Lady Kushina is your mother?" Karin asked
"Yeah, but she died the day I was born and I've officially taken over as clan head." Naruto said
"Then why are you here?" Karin asked
"It's pretty obvious. Well, not really. I'm here to get anything Orochimaru might have that we can use against him. That and I'm here to make you an offer." Naruto said
"You won't find anything here except for a bunch of unstable inmates he experimented on. So, you'll have to struggle fighting Orochimaru." Karin said
"That's where you're wrong. I won't struggle fighting him since I've already beaten him. This isn't for me. This is for other people that have it out for him. I have bigger things to deal with." Naruto said
"Somebody like you, who doesn't even have any chakra beat Orochimaru? Don't make me laugh." Karin said
"Your sensing ability can't detect how much chakra I have. Trust me, my chakra levels are unmatched." Naruto said and released all of his chakra causing the entire hideout to shake
"H-He's got this much chakra!" Karin thought
"Anyway, I can tell you're telling the truth about the first reason I'm here. Now comes my offer. How about you ditch this place and come back to Konoha with us?" Naruto asked
"Why would I want to do that? What do you have to offer?" Karin asked
"I can see small bite marks near your collar which mean you have the heal bite ability from the Uzumaki clan. You must be a medical ninja or training to be one. You come to Konoha and you can learn under Tsunade Senju herself as well as have a new home, fresh food and actually make some decent friends." Naruto said
"Another redhead? It's bad enough I have to deal with Tayuya and now you want to bring another one? Let's just leave her here." Hinata said
"Tayuya? She's in Konoha?" Karin asked
"You know her?" Naruto asked
"Yeah. We were good friends before she went missing and I moved here. We had each others back in the sound village." Karin said
"Then how about you get reunited with her? She's my girlfriend and I'm kind of late on a birthday gift." Naruto said
"Hold on. When you say new home, do you mean an actual house or a shitty hole in the ground?" Karin asked
"I own an apartment building. I can give you an apartment that has everything in there already." Naruto said
"Uh-huh. What about food?" Karin asked
"There's a market not too far from the apartment building that sells fresh food. It's relatively new, but it has what you need." Naruto said
"I'm still not sold." Karin said
"Time for the ultimate bribe." Naruto thought
"I hope this doesn't work." Kurama said
"You can help prank the anbu in our village." Naruto said
"Pranking?" Karin asked and Naruto saw a glimmer in her eyes
"Told you!" Naruto thought
"Fuck off." Kurama said
"Yup. Tayuya even pranks Hinata a lot." Naruto whispered in her ear and she grinned
"I'm in." Karin said
"I can't believe that worked." Kurama said
"I told you all Uzumaki love to prank." Naruto thought
"First things first, what do you want to do with the prisoners?" Naruto asked
"Just leave the cell doors unlocked and let them fight to the death. They're all unstable anyway. That's why Orochimaru kept them locked up here." Karin said
"I don't get why we have to bring her back. Can't we just kill her?" Hinata asked
"You've never killed anything in your life. Besides, I'm sure Karin knows how to fight." Naruto said
"Yeah. Don't test me bitch." Karin said and collected her things
"What did you just call me?" Hinata asked
"I know you heard me. Let's go. I need a shower." Karin said
"Are you two going to argue the entire trip back?" Naruto asked
"If she respects her superiors then no." Hinata said
"I'll respect you when you take that ten foot pole out of your ass." Karin said
"There goes us traveling by foot back to Konoha. I'll just use the Hiraishin markers I placed in Wave and Konoha." Naruto thought and placed a hand on both of their shoulders
"Excuse me. What do you think you're doing?" Karin asked and they just vanished
Konoha-Tsunade's office
"Lady Tsunade, when are we expecting Naruto to get back?" Shizune asked
"I don't know. I'm sure he knows parent day is coming up, so I'm sure he's already on his way back." Tsunade said
"Is it wise to have him with Hinata given her history with Tayuya and current crush on Naruto?" Shizune asked
"I'm sure he's fine. He doesn't want to do anything since Tayuya will kill him, bring him back to life and then kill him again. Besides, the bond they have is unbreakable." Tsunade said and then Naruto appeared in the office
"Yo." Naruto said
"When did you place a Hiraishin marker in my office?" Tsunade asked
"About a day after I learned it." Naruto said
"Okay. How was the mission?" Tsunade asked
"It was simple. There wasn't much of anything there that we could use, but I brought Karin back." Naruto said and pointed at Karin
"Uh. Hi." Karin said and glanced down at Tsunade's breasts
"My eyes are up here." Tsunade said
"Sorry!" Karin said
"Man, those things are huge." Karin thought
"So, why did Orochimaru have you at the southern hideout?" Tsunade asked
"I was supposed to help with his experiments, but I didn't since he barely came out there. The place was filled with unstable test subjects and I was there to keep him in check." Karin said
"I also brought her here so you could heal her." Naruto said
"What's wrong with her?" Tsunade asked
"I have the heal bite ability." Karin said and Tsunade nodded
"Okay. I know the results of using that. I'll heal you tomorrow, but unfortunately I have to place you on a three month probation due to you being new and your past with Orochimaru." Tsunade said
"I understand." Karin said and Hinata just walked out
"What's wrong with her?" Shizune asked
"Karin is a friend of Tayuya." Naruto said and they nodded in understanding
"So, what did he bribe you with to get you here?" Tsunade asked
"My good looks." Naruto said
"It wasn't that even though his face looks like it was created from the gods' own hands. He promised me an apartment, fresh food, some friends and since I'm a medical ninja I could learn from you." Karin said and Tsunade narrowed her eyes
"What else?" Tsunade asked
"That's it." Naruto said
"I've known you for three years, Naruto and I know you promised something else that will most likely cause me a headache." Tsunade said
"Oh! He said I can help Tayuya when she pranks Hinata and prank the anbu." Karin said and Tsunade sighed
"As long as he pays for the damages I don't care." Tsunade said
"Well, I don't really have to pay for anything. That mission you gave me to test the anbu and village security is still going on." Naruto said
"I forgot about that. Just don't do anything too bad." Tsunade said
"I'll try." Karin said
"Alright, Karin. You go with Naruto and get situated. Come back here tomorrow and I'll fix you." Tsunade said
"Alright. Let's go, Naruto. I need a shower and some food." Karin said
"Fine. You can use my shower and then I'll give you an apartment." Naruto said and placed a hand on her shoulder before vanishing
Naruto & Karin
"So this is what Konoha looks like. It's better than I remember." Karin said, as they were walking around
"What do you mean?" Naruto asked
"I was here for the chunin exams around the time Orochimaru attacked. I didn't make it past the second exam, but I was still in the village for a bit." Karin said
"Well, Granny Tsunade is in charge of fixing the village after the old civilian council and the third hokage almost ran it into the ground." Naruto said
"I heard Orochimaru killed him. Is that true?" Karin asked
"Something like that. Orochimaru was too strong for him and he used the reaper death seal to seal away Orochimaru's arms." Naruto said
"That's why he was in so much pain then and had Kabuto working around the clock working on a cure for his arms." Karin said
"Yup." Naruto said
"What do you do for fun around here?" Karin asked
"I either train or spend time with Tayuya if she isn't busy shopping with Ino and Sakura." Naruto said
"Don't you have any friends?" Karin asked
"Temari, Ino and Sakura, but all they like to do is go shopping and gossip." Naruto said
"I wouldn't mind going shopping. I mean these are the only clothes I own." Karin said
"Tayuya will take you when she goes with Ino and Sakura." Naruto said
"Good. So, what's the others like?" Karin asked
"The only people I talk to in the village are Kakashi, Anko, Kurenai, Asuma, TenTen, Ino and Sakura. I don't talk to the others and I don't really care for them." Naruto said
"What happened to you? When I first saw you in the exams you were this happy go lucky orange wearing idiot." Karin said and Naruto chuckled
"Let's just say I stopped bottling up my feelings and hiding behind a mask." Naruto said and she nodded
"How'd you meet Tayuya?" Karin asked
"I saved her from dying. She was on that mission to get Sasuke for Orochimaru." Naruto said and Karin cut him off
"Yeah I heard about that. Sasuke said he kicked your ass." Karin said
"Sasuke barely laid a finger on me and it took Kabuto showing up after I defeated Sasuke for him to get away. Anyway, after the fight with Sasuke I was in the forest when I saw her trapped underneath some trees and I got her out from under them. Brought her back and for a better life she gladly gave up information on Orochimaru without hesitating. We've been inseparable since that day I guess you could say." Naruto said
"The fact that she was able to live a better life here speaks volumes given how she was. I'm glad she's changed." Karin said
"Yeah, she didn't really change much. Only I see her sensitive side. She's still the same. However, she's changed a lot physically." Naruto said, as they reached his apartment complex
"This is where I'll be staying?! It looks like a freaking hotel!" Karin said
"I had some changes made to it and Tayuya kept up with it when I was away for a long mission." Naruto said
"I thought you lived in the slums of the village. This place is awesome." Karin said
"It's been fixed up quite a bit since granny Tsunade took over. It was horrible when the third hokage took over. This place gets a bad rep, but the people here look out for one another. They'll do the same for you once they see you with me and Tayuya." Naruto said and they went to his apartment
"Is she home?" Karin asked
"Yeah. She's probably in the room." Naruto said and opened the door
"Woah. This place is nice." Karin said and then Naruto was tackled to the ground by a red blur
"You're back!" Tayuya said and started to make out with him making Karin feel awkward since she was watching it happen
"Yeah. I have somebody that wants to meet you." Naruto said and broke the kiss making her pout
"I wasn't finished." Tayuya said
"I know, but we can finish later." Naruto said and pointed behind her
"KARIN?!" Tayuya yelled and gave her a bone crushing hug
"I-I can't breathe." Karin said and Tayuya let her go
"Oh shit. Sorry." Tayuya said and Karin looked at her
"He wasn't kidding when he said she changed physically! Look at those things! They're basically the same size as Tsunade's!" Karin thought
"They're 104 centimeters if you're wondering how big they are." Naruto said, as he took the kubikiribocho off his back
"We're friends and all, Karin, but eyes off the merchandise. They belong to Naruto and only he can look at them this long." Tayuya said
"How? You were as flat as a piece of paper when I last saw you." Karin said
"That was nearly three years ago. I was only 13 the last time you saw me." Tayuya said
"I know, but what did you do?" Karin asked
"Eating better, training, better lifestyle. Plus puberty hit me pretty fucking hard." Tayuya said
"I want those." Karin said
"They're more problematic than they seem. I need to get a back massage everyday carrying these things around, but Naruto likes them so I don't mind. Plus, he's the one doing the massaging if you know what I mean." Tayuya said and Karin blushed
"Okay. Karin needs to borrow some of your old clothes and take a shower. You can take her shopping with Ino and Sakura later." Naruto said
"Bathroom is the second door on the left down the hall and towels are in the cabinet. If you need to brush your teeth, shave or anything, look in the cabinet next to the mirror in the bathroom. Fresh toothbrushes and razors for you." Tayuya said and Karin nodded before walking to the bathroom
"THIS IS THE BATHROOM." Karin yelled and Naruto chuckled
"You. Sit." Tayuya said and pointed to the couch
"Am I in trouble?" Naruto asked, as he sat down and Tayuya sat on his lap
"It depends. What happened on the mission?" Tayuya asked
"Not much. Hinata did ask why I was with you and that she'll be waiting once we break up, but I told her that's not happening. Oh and Karin will be joining you when you go prank Hinata." Naruto said
"Excellent." Tayuya said and had an evil chuckle escape her lips
"Is that all?" Naruto asked
"Kind of. I just wanted to cuddle with my boyfriend since you've been gone for almost a week." Tayuya said
"How about we cuddle after I get Karin an apartment and some food in her house?" Naruto asked
"It depends. Will I have your full attention when we get back?" Tayuya asked
"Yup. 100 percent. I'm off missions for the next few weeks." Naruto said
"Unless a really important mission comes up." Tayuya said
"Nope. I made sure granny knows to take me off the active roster list until my vacation is over with." Naruto said and then they started to make out until somebody knocked on the door
"WHO THE FUCK IS IT?" Tayuya yelled
"Lord Hiashi would like a word with Naruto Uzumaki. He says it's urgent." The person said
"Rain check?" Naruto asked
"Fine. Only because this isn't a mission." Tayuya said and got off of him
"Can you make sure Karin is taken care of?" Naruto asked
"I guess so. Hurry back. I'll be in bed waiting for you." Tayuya said and Naruto quickly vanished
Hyuga compound
"I wonder what Hiashi wants." Naruto said and then bumped into somebody
"Hey! Watch it!" The person said
"Hm? Oh sorry." Naruto said and helped her up
"That's more like it, you peasant." The girl said and Naruto dropped her
"That's a rude thing to say to somebody who's trying to help your ass off the floor. Now get up on your own. Ungrateful little brat." Naruto said and walked away
"Do you even know who I am?!" The girl asked
"Nope and I don't care." Naruto said
"I am Hanabi Hyuga! I am the daughter of Hiashi Hyuga!" Hanabi said, as she walked up to him
"Well, I'm Naruto Uzumaki-Namikaze. Son of Minato Namikaze and Kushina Uzumaki. The fourth hokage and the red-hot blooded habanero. Current head of the Uzumaki clan. That alone gives me more status in this village thanks to my clan being one of the originals when the village first started as well as being a Senju through marriage. If anybody here is a peasant, it's you. Respect your elders, little girl." Naruto said and then Hiashi walked up to him
"Naruto, it is good to see you." Hiashi said
"Same. So, I'm guessing you want to talk to me about the little birdie that's no longer locked in a cage." Naruto said
"Yes. Come with me." Hiashi said
"Lead the way." Naruto said
Hiashi's office
"I'll get straight to it. I don't appreciate you removing the caged bird seal from Neji without my permission." Hiashi said
"Well I don't like how the Hyuga clan stole that seal from the Uzumaki clan and used it to enslave their own clan." Naruto said
"What do you mean?" Hiashi asked
"Man, the elders of the clan sure do keep a lot from you. Do you honestly think that a clan that has never had a fuinjutsu user would be able to create such a complex seal? No. The caged bird seal was a torture seal the Uzumaki clan created to place on prisoners. Your clan doesn't even understand the actual purpose of the seal." Naruto said
"Explain." Hiashi said
"The caged bird seal isn't something that just destroys your Byakugan at death. It deteriorates the vision each time the seal is activated. It fully destroys the eyes upon death since the seal is linked to the brain and all of the chakra is released which is why it automatically activates at death. That is how it was designed. Your clan is so worried about keeping others from gaining the Byakugan that you failed to realize that you're damaging the eyesight of every Hyuga that has that seal." Naruto said
"I thank you for this information. You may leave." Hiashi said
"No. Since your clan is obviously using stolen property from my clan, I want it back. Get every side branch Hyuga and bring them to the ritual room. I'm removing that seal and destroying it for good. This is me being nice, if you decline I will make the Uchiha clan massacre look like child's play. They were killed in their sleep, I'll kill all of you while looking right into your eyes." Naruto said and Hiashi sighed
"Very well." Hiashi said
Ritual room
"Lord Hiashi, why are we here?" A Hyuga elder named Hiroto asked
"Yes. Weren't scheduled to place the caged bird seal on anyone for quite some time." Another elder named Hiroshi said
"We aren't placing the caged bird seal on anybody else. It has been removed from the clan." Hiashi said
"What?! Why are we just now hearing this?! We've already decided against ever doing that!" Hiroto said
"You are only hearing about this now because I just found out that the caged bird seal is not ours to use. It's stolen property belonging to the Uzumaki clan and the clan head has come to reclaim it." Hiashi said
"The caged bird seal has been in our clan before we were born. There's no way it is stolen property." Hiroto said
"Unfortunately it is. Naruto Uzumaki-Namikaze has given evidence as to why it is stolen property. He has pointed out that a seal like the caged bird seal is too complex for a clan that has never had a fuinjutsu user. The caged bird seal is a seal that was used for prisoners captured by the Uzumaki clan." Hiashi said
"Him claiming the seal is pointless. He may save future generations, but we still have some with the seal. Let's just buy it from him." Hiroshi said
"That cannot and will not happen. I have decided to rid the clan of this accursed seal. All branch members will have the caged bird seal removed today and every Hyuga will get a new seal placed on them that does not have the torturing aspect." Hiashi said and Naruto entered the room
"He's right. The cage bird seal was slowly deteriorating the eye sight of every branch member who had the seal activated on them. The Byakugan of theirs was either weakened or it was so damaged to the point that they couldn't use it anymore. I'm taking the caged bird seal and in return like Hiashi said, I'll be giving you a new seal that still activates at death and destroys the Byakugan. Neji already has the new seal." Naruto said and Neji nodded
"Why did you not say anything, Neji?" Hiroshi asked
"I told him not to. I knew Hiashi would find out and request for me to talk about why I did it. Now, every branch member line up and I'll remove it before placing the new seal on you. The children will take a lot more time since I have to be gentle when removing theirs." Naruto said and Hiashi gave him a scroll
"That is the scroll containing the caged bird seal." Hiashi said and Naruto nodded
"Thanks." Naruto said and gave him a scroll
"I'm assuming this is the new seal?" Hiashi asked
"Yeah. Alright, kids first." Naruto said
The first kid in line was nervous because this stranger who clearly was a powerful man was looking at her with a blank expression and she was terrified. That all changed when Naruto poked her in the stomach causing her to giggle and give a nod when Naruto asked if she was ready. He removed her seal in 10 minutes since he needed to go slower with the kids and not just break it with a lot of chakra. One by one all the kids lined up and had their caged bird seals removed. After 2 hours, all of the children had their seals removed and replaced with a new one that was invisible and only activated upon death or if they triggered it to activate if they were ever captured. After the kids were done, the adults were next and Naruto sighed.
"I forgot about all of you." Naruto said and they all just looked at him with a sweatdrop
Cracking his knuckles, Naruto got back to work on the adults in the room and although theirs were quicker to remove, there were a lot more adults and teenagers than there were children. Four hours later all of the caged bird seals were removed and replaced with the new seal. The elders and Hiashi also received the new seal much to the elders dissapointment since now they couldn't torture the side branch of the Hyuga clan if they were disobedient. As Naruto was leaving, he saw the kids from the side branch playing around and noticed Hanabi sitting off to the side. He shook his head and walked out of the compound completely aware that she started to follow him. He went down an alley then vanished as she turned the corner.
"Huh? Where'd he go?" Hanabi asked and used her Byakugan to look for him, but had no luck
"I'm behind you." Naruto said and she froze
"H-How? I couldn't see you with my Byakugan." Hanabi said
"That's a secret. So, why are you following me?" Naruto asked
"I wasn't." Hanabi said
"It's bad to lie to me." Naruto said and she sighed
"Fine. You caught me. I just want some advice or help with something." Hanabi said
"Come with me." Naruto said and started walking
"Where are we going?" Hanabi asked
"To get some food and talk." Naruto said
Ichiraku ramen
"What is this place?" Hanabi asked
"Ichiraku ramen. The best ramen shop in the world." Naruto said
"Hi, Naruto. What can I get you today?" Ayame asked
"I'll take 3 large beef miso ramen and get her a medium chicken miso ramen." Naruto said
"Sure thing. Give me 5 minutes." Ayame said
"This place is small. No wonder only commoners come here to eat." Hanabi said
"That's not true. Ichiraku has had many nobles eat here as well as the hokage and the fire daimyo." Naruto said
"Really? I thought they ate at fancy places like the Hyuga clan." Hanabi said
"Nope. Not everyone has a pole shoved up their ass and think they're too good to eat at smaller restaurants like your clan." Naruto said
"We do not have that." Hanabi said
"Really? Your clan is so uptight and arrogant that it's not even funny. The first thing you did when you met me was insult me." Naruto said
"That's because I thought you were a peasant. I didn't know who you were." Hanabi said
"Exactly. You didn't know who I was. If I were an enemy, you'd be dead by now." Naruto said
"Here you go. Enjoy." Ayame said, as she placed their food on the counter and walked away
"I don't get it. I thought you were supposed to flash your status around and people would respect you. That's what the elders taught me." Hanabi said, as she started eating
"They're only putting a target on your back. Doing that will make people come after you for the wrong reasons and it will prevent you from making friends." Naruto said and she flinched
"You noticed, didn't you?" Hanabi asked
"Yup. Saw you before I left the compound." Naruto said
"I don't get it. I tried being nice to them and they treated me like I was beneath them." Hanabi said
"Sounds familiar, doesn't it? That's how you treated them I'm guessing and now they're treating you like that since they no longer have to worry about being tortured by the caged bird seal. Did they ever try to play with you before?" Naruto asked
"A lot growing up, but I always had training and I was a main branch kid. I couldn't be seen playing with them." Hanabi said
"That's the problem. All they saw was a little girl around their age that they wanted to play with and become friends with. Now they're treating you how you treated them." Naruto said
"How did you make friends then?" Hanabi asked
"Contrary to belief I didn't have any friends until the chunin exams and then two more after I came back to the village after I was gone for nearly three years. I mean I have a girlfriend, but nobody in my class when I graduated liked me and I was always picked on, bullied or talked down to. I'm sure you know who Tayuya is." Naruto said and she nodded
"The loud foul-mouthed redhead." Hanabi said
"Yup. That's her. She's my girlfriend and was basically my first friend in Konoha since she joined the village. I have three friends, not including Tayuya. Temari, Sakura and Ino are my friends." Naruto said
"How come you didn't use your status as a way to get friends?" Hanabi asked
"I didn't find out about my heritage until the month off for the chunin exams and then after that. Besides, using my name to gain friends is really shallow." Naruto said
"Then what can I do? None of the kids want to play with me even if I tried." Hanabi said
"Then make friends with people you haven't wronged." Naruto said
"I don't know anybody else." Hanabi said and Naruto placed money on the counter
"Let's go get you some friends. Try not to be so stuck up when you meet these kids. They have it rough as is already." Naruto said
"Okay." Hanabi said and Naruto placed a hand on her shoulder before vanishing
Orphanage
"Where are we?" Hanabi asked
"This is one of Konoha's orphanages. You're close to my place. Anyway, you're here to make friends with the people you have never met before. Remember, don't act like a royal pain in the ass. Try to be a normal kid." Naruto said
"Normal kid. Got it." Hanabi said
"Naruto? What are you doing here?" A voice asked
"Hm? Hey, Keiko. I'm here to let Hanabi find some friends." Naruto said
"Well, the kids are out in the back playing until the sunsets. She can head out back and play with them." Keiko said
"Fine. If this doesn't work you owe me." Hanabi said and walked towards the back
"So, how bad is she with other children?" Keiko asked
"Well, she's part of the Hyuga main branch and that should sum it up for you." Naruto said
"Ah. Ten foot pole up her ass like the rest of them." Keiko said
"Pretty much, but unlike them she's atleast trying to change and become better." Naruto said
"Should we go check on her and see how she's doing?" Keiko asked
"Nah. I didn't hear any yelling or complaining." Naruto said
"SHE'S CHEATING."
"WHAT? I AM NOT."
"I stand corrected." Naruto said, as kids came in the house followed by Hanabi who looked irritated
"Oh boy." Naruto thought
"What happened, Mina?" Keiko asked
"She cheated!" Mina said and pointed at Hanabi
"I did not cheat! The objective was to find you and that's what I did." Hanabi said
"What game were you playing?" Keiko asked
"Hide and seek. She used her weird eyes and found all of us. That's cheating!" Mina said
"Well, did you specifically say she couldn't use them?" Keiko asked
"No." Mina said and bowed her head
"HA." Hanabi yelled
"Then it's not cheating unless the rule was in place." Keiko said
"Fine. New game and new rules! No weird eyes or ninja tricks!" Mina said
"Fine by me. Just try hiding somewhere that isn't obvious." Hanabi said and they went back outside
"I think she'll be fine here." Keiko said
2 hours later
"I'm guessing you had fun." Naruto said
"Look at me. I'm covered in dirt. It's disgusting." Hanabi said
"It's called being a kid." Naruto said
"I guess you're right, but I did have fun." Hanabi said and yawned
"Tired?" Naruto asked
"Yeah. We played hide and seek like four times, played ninja and freeze tag." Hanabi said and Naruto knelt down
"Hop on. I'll carry you back to the Hyuga compound." Naruto said and Hanabi nodded
"My legs feel like the noodles from Ichirakus." Hanabi said and Naruto chuckled
"The more you play like this, the better your endurance will be." Naruto said and didn't get a response because she fell asleep, so he vanished the appeared in front of the Hyuga compound
"Lady Hanabi? We thought you were in the compound already." A Hyuga guard said
"No. She was with me all day, but as you can see she's knocked out. She had too much fun with her friends and passed out." Naruto said and the guard nodded
"Very well. I'll take her to her room." The Hyuga said and Naruto handed her to him
"Thanks." Naruto said and vanished
Naruto's apartment
"I'm home." Naruto said, as he took his sandals off
"Where were you?" Tayuya asked, as she came from the room clearly half asleep
"I was at the Hyuga compound and then I helped Hanabi get some friends at the orphanage." Naruto said and gave her a kiss
"I'll ask about it in the morning. Come to bed." Tayuya said and dragged him to the room
"Let me shower and I'll join you." Naruto said
"Hurry up." Tayuya told him before getting in bed
Naruto took a shower for 20 minutes and after getting dressed, he joined Tayuya in bed and wrapped his arms around her before letting sleep claim him.
