Disclaimer: I don't own HP/PJO/HoO
Answering the reviews: Im making this a little bit of a long term fic. Hermione/Luna/most people hasn't figured stuff out this fast because 1. in the original books it took them months to years to figure out stuff. 2. Mist and magic = good explanations 3. Mythology isn't always the first thing that comes to mind. There's some other good plausible explanations first.
also yea i lost some interest, i do want to finish stuff though so...expect this to be done in a few years' time? Eh, I'll upload something every now and then-
Percy's POV
Percy's "challenges" were way too easy, in his opinion. Still, he took his time exploring every nook and cranny of Hogwarts as he made his way from an obscure classroom in the middle of the castle to the Great Hall, easily dispatching any minor monsters that had been sent in.
Essentially, his challenge was getting out alive...to most people, at least. His actual task was figuring out Hogwarts' layout for strategic stuff. The Room of Requirement, unused classrooms, secret passageways, the full nine yeards.
By the time he made it back out to the grounds, most of the event had ended. New World Academy was in 2nd place in the rankings (compromises having been made). That was pretty good.
The reward was way better though: free blue pancakes, all-you-could-eat style, as well as a semi-secret IM back to Camp Half-Blood to chat with people like Connor and Malcolm. And a very much interrupted midnight kiss with Annabeth on the shore of the Great Lake but in all honestly they really should have known Nico would be up at night also hanging out with his boyfriend.
So far, their quest was going great.
Unfortunately, that peace wouldn't last very long.
Sorry for the short chapter, transition purposes and all.
