Chapter 6: And Used It Shall Be...

It didn't take long for the three guild members to find Drowzee's destination, thanks to Marill's help guiding the way. They found themselves at the entrance to Mt. Bristle, a Spire with sharp grey rocks covering the outer shell of the dungeon.

Bidoof marveled at the scale of the mountain and was visibly shaken. 'Oh, I didn't anticipate we'd do this straight away when I woke up today, no siree.'

Tristian (tried to) put his paw on his shoulder, which was hard to do. 'Don't worry, I have a good feeling about this.'

The Shinx then turned to his partner to ask her something. 'What do we have with us? You never clarified that.'

She motioned for the two to come over as she opened her bag. 'We have 2 Oran berries, 1 apple, and 1 Max Elixir.'

'Will that be enough?' Tristian asked worriedly.

'As long as we rush, we shouldn't need them.' She answered. 'Besides, I'm sure we'll find some more items in the dungeon.'

Bidoof took this time to talk to Marill. 'Don't worry Marill, we'll do our best to save your brother and bring Drowzee to justice. Yup yup!

Bidoof's promise calmed him down a little bit, and he nodded. 'O-okay...'

'Everyone ready?' Rachel asked.

'Ready as I'll ever be.'

'Yup yup!'

With that final agreement, the trio entered Mt. Bristle.

Mt. Bristle 1F

They found themselves in a room with 2 pathways attached to it, but that didn't really matter since the stairs were in this exact room. The room also contained one sleeping Starly and some loose rocks.

Upon seeing the sleeping clone, Bidoof made a shushing sound. 'Be quiet. If we don't disturb it, then it won't know we're here.'

The other two gave a careful nod and tiptoed to the stairs, except for Rachel who first went to the loose rocks and picked them up, to the confusion of Tristian. He decided to leave that question for the next floor.

Rachel soon returned, and the three of them quietly ascended the stairs.

Mt. Bristle 2F

'I thought it would be harder to find stairs.' Tristian commented as he got up the stairs last.

Bidoof decided to answer Tristian as Rachel was busy putting the rocks into her bag. 'The stairs are just as random as the layout of dungeons. It's lucky to have the Stairs so close, but it can happen.'

'Why would the dungeon make it easy for us? That doesn't make any sense.' Tristian said.

Rachel gave a small laugh as she finished putting the stones in the bag. 'That's because Mystery Dungeons don't make sense, to begin with.'

'But how is that… You know what, never mind.' He said.

Now that the conversation was done, they started to inspect their current location. There was only one hallway, and nothing else.

After some quiet contemplation, Rachel came up with a plan of action. 'Bidoof, I think you should go in front since you're more experienced than either of us. The chances that we'll be attacked from behind are slim to none.'

Bidoof nodded in agreement and took the lead.

At this time, Mark was also on Mt. Bristle, ready to accomplish his mission. But he wasn't having a lot of luck…

'Another dead end? Why is my luck so shit right now?'

He turned around and saw a Machop and Geodude chasing him. There was little he could do but stand his ground.

With one last annoyed sigh, he grabbed for his hilt and unsheathed his Scimitar. The Machop tried going for a Low Kick, which gave the Buizel the opening he needed.

With one precise motion, he delimbed the Machop, who turned into dark red clouds upon impact with the floor.

He took a deep breath and turned to face the Geodude, but as he turned he got punched in the face by the enemy, who had boosted its speed in the time Mark was busy with the Machop.

Mark landed face-first on the floor and was at the mercy of the Rock Pokémon. He reached for his bag, having one last ace in there in case of an emergency…

Just then the Geodude got hit in the back of the head with a big rock. It seemed to have hit something vital since the clone vanished into clouds the moment it landed on the floor.

'And that's what Geo Pebbles are used for.' A feminine voice declared.

A male voice seemed to chuckle. 'Aren't pebbles supposed to be small?'

'Well, then how do we distinguish it from more impressive rocks? That would make it much harder, yes siree.' A second male voice chimed in.

'Huh, fair point.' The first male responded.

Mark got himself up from the floor and turned to where the voices were coming from. There he saw a Vulpix, a Shinx, and a Bidoof. As he sheathed his weapon Mark decided to approach them.

'Hey, thanks for the help back there, they really seemed to have taken me by surprise.'

The Vulpix nodded. 'No problem, glad we could help.'

Mark was about to get going, but then his eyes fell on the badges the trio was wearing. 'Wait, those badges, you three are explorers, aren't you?'

'Yup yup! We are indeed explorers.' The Bidoof answered.

He soon realized that having some actual explorers to back him up could help make the climb easier. 'Say, what are you three doing here? Looking for some item or person, catching an Outlaw perhaps?'

'Why do you want to know?' The Shinx asked cautiously.

The Buizel let out a defeated sigh. He knew lying will just get him in trouble with law enforcement, so honesty was the only option left. 'Alright, I'll tell. But we should keep moving. Otherwise, we might be in trouble.'

The trio discussed this for a bit and then gave unanimous agreement to work together.

With his new allies in tow, the mission should be a lot easier.

In the middle of Foggy Forest, amidst all the fog and dampness, stood a pillar with waterfalls. In that pillar is located a Lake, filled with Illumise and Volbeat which give off a beautiful glow on the lake during the night. In the middle of the lake emanates a light blue colour, sounding a constant, calming ticking sound.

On the shore of Fogbound Lake, a small light blue and yellow psychic type was present, looking over the lake and the secret within. The entity was in conversation with someone who wasn't there.

'Look,' He began. 'We have no idea who stole it, so we can't afford to come to her grand meeting.'

'I know,' another began. 'But how do we make that clear to Palkia? She seems to never notice the small things that have to be done.'

This entity was located in an Underground lake, which resides beneath a desert. This lake had the same light and ticking sound in the middle.

Then a third entity spoke, this one being located in Crystal Lake. The lake is surrounded by beautiful crystals and the same light as the other two lakes.

'She'll have to take our word sister. We must guard these gears with our lives, or else…'

He stopped, trying to remember what would happen, but finding himself unable to remember.

'Azelf, is everything alright?' The second entity asked.

'I'm fine, Mesprit. Just having a hard time remembering the consequences.' Azelf is silent for a moment. 'Say, Uxie, do you think Giratina might be…'

'The cause of this? No.' Uxie said. 'Arceus trusts that he has learned his lesson, and I know better than to question his decision making.'

Azelf nodded. 'So, who's going to break the news to Palkia?'

'If she wants our answer, she'll come to us. We must stay to protect the gears.' Uxie affirmed to his siblings.

'If you say so.' Mesprit answered.

'Sure, she can't really do much to force us anyways.' Azelf added.

There was a long period of silence between the Lake Guardians before Azelf spoke again. 'So..., shall we play another game of Fire-Water-Grass?'

'Sure.' Uxie replied.

'Prepare to lose!' Mesprit said.

Mt. Bristle 8F

'Okay, so let me get this straight.' Mark began. 'You guys are hunting down some outlaw who has kidnapped an Azurill.'

'Yup.' Rachel replied before firing off an Ember at a Starly.

'I think I might know why he would do that.' He said after slicing the burning Starly in half, making it return to smoke.

The trio stopped and turned to face Mark. 'And why is that?' Tristian asked for the group.

Mark put away his scimitar before responding. 'Well Tristian, it was Tristian right?'

'Yes-'

'You see,' Mark resumed, cutting the Shinx off. 'There's a treasure at the top of Mt. Bristle. But apparently, the hole is too small for my client to fit through. This Drowzee wants to use Azurill to get the treasure, which I can't have because of two reasons: I have a job to complete, and that's just cruel.'

'So you'll help us?' Bidoof asked with a hopeful tone.

'Sure, on one condition.' Mark said with a smirk. 'I have a claim on whatever treasures are hidden in there.'

'That doesn't seem like a fair trade at all!' Tristian immediately retorted. When he turned to Rachel, she had a look of disappointment on her face. He let out a defeated sigh, turning back to Mark. 'But, we need all the help we can get, I guess.'

Mark got a smile on his face and clapped his paws together. 'Great! Now, let's get going.'

Soon they found the stairs and ascended them to the final floor before their destination.

Mt. Bristle 9F

'Hey guys…' Tristian began. 'Is it normal for there to be a room with no hallways and a bunch of clones?'

The rest of the group looked around and indeed, there were no hallways, and the room was filled with 5 different Pokémon. A Nidorina, a Spinarak, and 3 Geodude. And within an instant, the hostile Pokémon headed towards their target.

'Shit, this is not going to end well,' Mark said as he once again readied his Scimitar. 'Those Geodude will use Rock Polish, and then we'll be down before we even know what happened.'

The 4 mon' made a circle formation, preparing for a big battle. Bidoof was panicking, Rachel grabbed hold of the last Geo Pebble they had, and Tristian was rapidly looking around, looking for any opportunity.

Just then, Mark had an idea. He turns to the others and says. 'Please trust me on this.'

Before any of them could respond, he pulled out a blue orb from his bag and threw it to the floor. Upon impact, the Orb shattered, releasing a transparent smoke that filled the entire room.

Tristian tried to wipe away the smoke with his paw but found himself unable to move it. He tried to move from his spot, but his legs refused to give way. 'Wait, what's happening, why can't I move!?'

But then he noticed something else. All the other hostile Pokemon we're frozen in place too. The only one able to move for as far as he could see was Mark, who went to the clones and cut them up with his Scimitar, turning them to smoke.

After the deed was done, the Buizel returned to his allies and gave them a small push, which ended their immobilization.

'Tadaa!' Mark jokingly announced, to which the reception was miffed faces.

'Next time, please warn us that you're planning on using a Wonder Orb.' Rachel said with some irritation in her voice.

'Wonder Orb?' Tristian said, tilting his head slightly. 'What's a Wonder Orb?'

'Look! It's not…' She began angrily before noticing that her outburst made Tristian cringe back in fear. She took a deep breath and talked again in a less hostile tone. 'It's not important right now. I promise to tell you back in the guild, all right?'

Tristian gave a quick nod, to which Bidoof let out a sigh of relief. 'We all have quite a ways to go. Yup yup! Let's go save Azurill.' He said as he pointed with his paws to the stairs.

After everyone gave one last nod of agreement, they headed to the top.

Mt. Bristle Peak

He had just arrived with Azurill at the destination. It was not the best move to lose Marill along the way, but there was nothing he could do about it now. As Azurill looked around for his Water Float, Drowzee went to make sure that his "contact" hasn't gone and taken the treasure for himself. No need to become more suspicious than necessary.

He went to the small hole at the end and peered into it. It looked like it did before, and he reckoned the hole would be a bit bigger if that Buizel really went in.

He put his paws together and was ready for the last step.

'Uh-oh, It's a dead-end.' The Polka Dot Pokémon lamented. 'Excuse me, Mr. Drowzee, where is our lost Water Float? Please mister, where is it?'

Drowzee was about ready to pull the wool from his eyes, but then he paused for a moment. He didn't have to incriminate himself right now. He might be able to take the Azurill down with ease, but what if the treasure really was a myth?

So he quickly came up with a different explanation, trying to sound as compassionate as possible. 'I believe something took it into that small hole, but as you might have guessed, I'm too big to fit in. But you, you are small enough.'

Azurill looked excited for a moment, but then he noticed something was missing. 'My big brother's following us, right? He's coming soon?'

'I'm afraid we might have lost him along the way.' He said sheepishly as he rubbed the back of his head. 'Don't worry, I'm sure we'll run into him on the way back.'

Azurill's worry soon faded and was replaced with positivity. 'Oh, okay then.' He then turned to face the hole. 'So, it's in there?'

'I really hope so. It looked a lot like a Water float, but it's a bit dim so it wasn't easy to tell.' He responded, mentally patting himself on the back for his improvised lie.

Azurill, now fully convinced, walked up to the hole and tried to go in. However, the ball on his tail got stuck in the hole. 'Uh… help?' He said fearfully.

Drowzee groaned and put his hand on his face in annoyance. He then walked up to him and started to push the ball in, much to the complaints of Azurill. 'Ow! That hurt!'

'Please don't struggle, otherwise, you won't get in.' Drowzee said, annoyed. 'I promise I'll help you get out, so please, let me help you get in first.' He was prepared to give it another go, but then…

'Stop right there!' A feminine voice called out to him. He turned around and saw the Shinx and Vulpix from back in town, joined by a Bidoof and Buizel.

It was the Buizel however, that really took his interest. 'What is he doing here?' He thought to himself.

'Your evil scheme ends here Drowzee!' The Vulpix continued, with the Shinx joining in, adding. 'No criminal can escape us!'

It was then that he realized what they were., causing him to sweat ever so slightly. 'An exploration team?!'

For a moment, it looked like the leader of that team had lost her cool, but she quickly relapsed into confidence. 'Yes! You won't get away with this, we will make sure of it!'

'We won't lose to you, no siree!' The Bidoof chimed in, inducing more stress into the outlaw.

But it was the Buizel that made him lose it. He pulled out his scimitar and held it in front of him with a smug grin on his face as he started to walk towards him. 'Sorry pal, but I have a job to do, and you're in the way.'

This was too much for the Hypnosis Pokemon, who burst into a roar filled with rage and fear. 'NO! I refuse to be taken down by the likes of you!' He yelled, looking at the Buizel specifically.

He quickly approached the startled Buizel and delivered a quick Pound to his chest, the blow launching him into the wall.

'Mark!' The Vulpix shouted. She quickly turned to her fellow explorers. 'Bidoof, you help Mark! Tristian, you come with me!'

The two gave a quick nod, and Drowzee found himself facing off against the Shinx and Vulpix.

The two attacked in tandem, the Shinx using a Thunder Shock and the Vulpix using an Ember. He quickly sidestepped the attack and used Disable on the Shinx. Not realizing the effects of Disable, he tries using another Thunder Shock, and nothing happens.

Drowzee used the opportunity to use Hypnosis on the Shinx. The attack landed and the Shinx let out a tired yawn. 'I'm getting… sleepy…'

The Vulpix looks like she wanted to say something, but instead, she immediately went on the offensive, using a Feint Attack that did major damage to Drowzee. 'We will never surrender!' The Fire Type stubbornly announced.

He reached for his chest and felt for any wounds. After confirming he was fine, he got a dastardly idea. He readied a Confusion, aiming it at the still stuck Azurill.

Just like he had predicted, the Vulpix sprinted towards him to stop him, to which he immediately changed direction and launched his attack at the Vulpix.

She stumbled back and tried to lurch out at him, only managing to hit herself. With the Vulpix confused, the Shinx asleep, and the Bidoof being a weak problem, he turned his attention again to the Buizel.

As he turned he barely had enough time to dodge the swipe from the Scimitar. He had to take him down quickly. Before he could attack, however, the Buizel rammed into him with a Quick Attack, and followed it up with a Water Gun, throwing the criminal backward and onto one knee.

'Can't… lose… here…' He thought to himself, as he desperately used a Confusion on the Buizel. And to his luck, it hit.

The Buizel dropped his blade and had a hard time orienting himself.

He stood up again and was ready to Pound the Buizel unconscious, but then he heard a rolling sound behind him. He turned around and a big boulder rammed right into him!

He let out one more cry of anguish, and then everything went dark…

Bidoof stumbled out of the Boulder he had formed using Rollout and saw the unconscious outlaw lying on the floor. He stood in silence, taking a moment to recognize his accomplishment. However, he quickly shook his head out of the clouds and turned to assist his friends.

Rachel and Mark were easy to snap out of their confusion, and with one good Water Gun courtesy of Mark, Tristian awoke from his slumber like an angry cat.

'HEY! What the hell is wrong with you!?' He complained before being reminded of their current mission by seeing the outlaw out cold. 'Wait, we won?'

'Looks like it.' Mark said as he grabbed his tools from the floor, before stopping and realizing they forgot something.

'Hello? Is anyone there?' Azurill shakingly asked with his tail still stuck in the entrance.

'Oh right…' Mark said as he remembered why his pals were here. 'I'll go help him out, since, you know.' He opened and closed his paw in demonstration.

They gave him a nod, and Mark went to help Azurill out of the hole.

While that was going on, Tristian turned to his partner. 'Well done Rachel, you really spooked him there in the beginning.'

'Yup, yup!' Bidoof added. 'Even I got a bit nervous. How did you not get scared?'

'Oh, I was scared, terrified even.' Rachel admitted with a weak laugh. 'But I knew that if he believed that I was extremely confident, that he would make more rash decisions, and focus less where it matters.'

'Mental warfare I see, or hear rather.' The Buizel commented as he pulled the Azurill out of the opening. 'Are you okay little guy?' He asked him.

'Y-yeah…' Azurill said.

'Good!' Mark said, immediately stepping away from the Polka Dot Pokemon. 'So, now that I've helped you all with your problem, it's time to repay the favour, right?'

After some silence, Rachel agreed. 'It's only fair. What do you need help with?'

'Well, it's a bit dangerous, so it might be for the best if Azurill wasn't here.' Mark said, rubbing his paw on the back of his head. 'Can someone bring him to a safe location? Perhaps get that outlaw out of the way too while you're at it?'

'I'll do it.' Bidoof announced as he grabbed his badge and walked over to Drowzee. He motioned for Azurill to come to him, which he did.

'What do I do Mr. Bidoof?' The child asked.

After a small blush from Azurill's politeness, Bidoof put one of his paws on the Outlaw. 'Just grab onto me, and we'll be out of this dungeon in no time.'

Azurill put a paw on Bidoof, and with that, he raised his badge into the air. It started to emanate a bright light, and the three of them got warped out of the dungeon.

As soon as the light had dissipated, Mark turned to Team Lighbringers as he clapped his paws together. 'So, now we just need to get in. Rachel, if you would please come over here?'

Rachel followed the Buizel to the small hole in which Azurill was stuck, and saw him take out a strange item from his bag. The item was a red thin cylinder with a rope sticking out from the top.

'If you could kindly use an Ember on the rope here.' Mark beckoned to her, causing her to take a deep breath, and light the rope on fire. Mark quickly threw the cylinder into the hole.

'So… what now?' Rachel asked him.

'Run for your life.' Mark answered casually before sprinting as far away as possible from the hole. Rachel didn't take too long standing around and legged it back.

An explosion erupted inside the mountain, blowing large chunks of rock and plumes of dust everywhere. When the dust had settled, the small opening had been opened up wide.

'What was- Cough! -that?' Rachel asked as she tried to wipe the dust away from her mouth.

'Dynamite.' Mark said with a grin. 'It's a pretty handy tool, but I broke my lighter the other day and wasn't able to buy a replacement.' He stood up and started walking to the opening, only stopping to look behind him and wave for the two to follow him.

They quickly stood up and followed him in.

The inside was a long hallway with empty pedestals. The walls we're just like inside the Dungeon, rigid, sharp, and grey.

'Okay, this place is a little bit creepy…' Rachel muttered as she looked all around.

Tristian nodded to his partner. 'Yeah, let's pick up the pace.' He didn't wait for their answers however and instead started sprinting down the hallway, leaving Mark and Rachel in his dust.

He soon arrived in a big central room, with one impressive pedestal in the middle. On it lay a weird stone with maroon colored markings on it. The symbol looked like a circle with a triangle inside it, and on the outer layer of the circle was another triangle pointing down.

He walked over and tried to grab it with his left paw to take a better look at it, and it immediately started glowing an ominous dark red. There was a searing sensation all through his body, as the small item gave off more and more light. He unleashed a pained cry for help as the pain reached its highest point, before suddenly leaving his paw entirely numb. As he looked at the back of it, he could see that the strange symbol was now visible on his paw. It was then that the others arrived.

'Tristian! Are you okay!?' Rachel asked as she sprinted over to his side.

'I'm fine now, but I have no idea what just happened…' He answered.

Mark starts looking around the room as Rachel inspects the strange symbol. Soon enough Mark returned with a frustrated expression on his face. 'Assuming you can't just hide the treasure in your fur, it seems that I've been lied to. My employer is going to be angry with me.'

'I'm sorry to hear that Mark.' Rachel said, to which he simply waved it off. 'Not your fault. Still, thanks for the help.'

Tristian started to think about the item he just touched. Maybe that was the Treasure Mark was after? But then, how would he have taken it with him if it can't be touched? He decides it's for the better to not bring this up yet.

He soon got up again, the feeling in his left paw having returned to normal. 'Let's get out of here.'

The duo grabbed their badges, while Mark held onto the Vulpix, and with a flash of light, they were gone.

As they arrived outside of the dungeon, they were met with the sight of Azurill and Marill hugging while Bidoof was aw-ing at the sidelines, and Drowzee being held down by two Magnemite and a Magnazone.

Magnezone noticed the new arrivals and turned to Bidoof. 'ZZZT! Those are the new recruits, correct? ZZZT!'

'They sure are, officer.' Bidoof answered, causing the Magnezone to hover over to Team Lightbringers.

'ZZZT! I am Magnezone, the primary officer in this region! ZZZT! Thanks to you, we have been able to arrest a wanted outlaw! ZZZT! We owe you great thanks for your cooperation! ZZZT!'

'No problem, it was a pleasure we could help.' Rachel answered.

Officer Magnezone hovered up and down, replicating a nodding motion. 'ZZZT! We will send the reward to your guild. But first. ZZZT!'

He turns to face Mark. 'ZZZT! Are you known as Mark? ZZZT!'

'Why of course, what other experienced explorer here is called Mark?' He cheekily responded.

'ZZZT! Mark, you are under arrest. ZZZT!'

Mark's chilled exterior suddenly shifted to a panicked one. 'Wait what! Why?! I did nothing wrong!'

The officer made some beeping sounds before responding. 'ZZZT! Felony 1: Illegal treasure excavation. ZZZT! Felony 2: Endangerment of lives with the explosion of Mt. Bristle. ZZZT! Felony 3: Entering a Dungeon without an SOS. ZZZT!'

Mark remained silent as he processed what Magnezone told him. 'Look, I… eh…'

Officer Magnezone narrowed its eyes at Mark. 'ZZZT! You're coming with us. ZZZT!'

Mark lets out a disappointed sigh as he turns to Tristian and Rachel. 'Welp, looks like I'm going on a vacation. Maybe we'll see each other again, but not any time soon, that's for sure.'

With that, Drowzee and Mark got escorted away by the officers.

'Bye Mark!' Tristian shouted after them.

After the officers had disappeared from view, Marill walked over to the group. 'Thank you so much! I was so worried about him.'

'It was no big deal… for the most part.' Tristian said with a smile on his face.

'I was so scared back then. Thank you so much for rescuing me!' Azurill added.

'It's what we do.' Rachel answered with a smile on her face.

Bidoof nodded in agreement. 'Let's go back to the Guild now. This day has made me really tired. Yup yup!'

After being thanked by Azurill and Marill, the three recruits found themselves back in the Guild reporting to Chatot.

'You three did a pretty good job today. I'm impressed with how quickly you two managed to capture an outlaw. I'm certain that Bidoof's guidance was helpful.'

Bidoof got a blush on his face as Chatot continued. 'I've gotten the bounty from Officer Magnezone for the captured outlaw. As per usual, here is your cut of the reward.'

With that Chatot hopped over to Rachel and handed over 300 Poke. He then turned to Bidoof and handed him a separate 150 Poke.

'We expect just as much effort tomorrow, so don't start getting complacent now.'

'Understood.' Rachel responded.

With one last nod, Chatot went back down the ladder.

'Well, today was sure a wild one.' Bidoof said after some silence. 'Good thing you two saw Azurill and Marill with Drowzee, or we might not have known this.'

It is then that Tristian feels something weighing on him. Guilt. He knew what to do. 'Actually, we knew because-'

'We were extremely lucky.' Rachel finished for him, to his surprise.

'Y-yeah, extreme luck.' Tristian said with an awkward laugh.

Bidoof gave him a suspicious glance but didn't heed it much thought. 'Sure thing. Now, I think I'm gonna go collapse in my room, yup yup.'

It was a dark and stormy night as Tristian and Rachel prepared to sleep. The crackling of lightning gave the Shinx a scare as he stared out of the window of their room.

'Man, that nearly gave me a heart attack.' He said after a bit. 'Which would be ironic.'

'Why would it be?' Rachel asked as she tried getting comfortable on her bed.

Tristian coughed and readied his voice. 'Breaking news! Local Lightning cat scared to death by lightning.'

This caused a giggle to emerge from Rachel. 'Okay, it would be pretty ironic.'

There was a short silence as the rain continued ticking on the window. Tristian felt rude to ask, but he knew it had to be done. 'Rachel. Why did you stop me from telling the truth?'

The question caused Rachel to stop, and roll over to face Tristian. 'Well, that sounds ludicrous for anyone who hasn't seen a live example.'

'I guess that makes sense…' Tristian said. 'But still, lying like that, it feels… bad…'

'I'm sorry Tristian… Maybe if we can find a way to prove it, we'll tell them, okay?'

This caused Tristian to brighten up a bit. 'That'd be great. Thanks, Rachel.'

'Anytime pal. Now, let's get some sleep.'

Tristian walked to his bed, and let gravity do its thing. But the two have a hard time resting with all the sound of bad weather. It was Rachel who eventually broke the silence again.

'Say, how did you get that symbol on your hand?'

Tristian takes a look at his left paw before answering. 'There was this weird… thing back in Mt. Bristle. I tried grabbing it to take a better look at it, but then it seared right into me…'

'So that's why you screamed?' Rachel asked.

'Yup…' He said as he inspected his paw further. 'Say, do you have any idea what this symbol is?'

'No clue… but hey, if we find the time we might be able to ask at the library tomorrow.'

'That's the plan then…' Tristian said before letting out a yawn. 'Welp, time to try again. Goodnight Rachel.'

'Goodnight Tristian.'

Despite the rain and thunder, the two eventually managed to fall asleep.

Giratina found himself in the middle of bad weather, arriving back at Mt. Bristle to see if things went as planned. The big hole where the small opening once was filled him with confidence. As he kept hold of his Nether Veil he descended into the inner walls of the Mountain Peak. When he got to the end, the object was nowhere to be found.

'So the Ciler has been taken.' He said to himself, letting out a small chuckle. 'Good, now to hope that the bearer of my sign will do his job properly, and is a deep sleeper.'

'I have a brother to put in his place, after all.'

And that is chapter 6 after what? Almost two months later? Sorry about that. I promise I'll have chapter 7 out pretty soon (though it is quite a short chapter)

Many thanks to my Beta Reader pepperfruits for helping me out with the spelling, grammar, and all that stuff. Quite some problems were fixed thanks to them.
