Emma checked the bar over once more, making sure nothing was out of place before switching off the lights and heading for the door. She threw on her jacket as she pushed the key in the lock with one hand. The air was cold, but not too cold. Emma enjoyed the breeze after a long shift. Especially after seeing the brunette she realised she was attracted to, she hadn't been able to cool down.

Emma turned on her heels and headed down the street to where she parked her trusty yellow bug. She folded her arms over her chest and looked around quickly checking there were no drunk stragglers from the bar trying to tail her. That's when she spotted them. The brunette and her friend from the bar, standing on the corner trying to...haul a cab? Emma watched for a moment before deciding to head towards the women.

'Hey' She said awkwardly as she got closer, catching the attention of the unknown woman beside the brunette who hadn't seemed to hear.

'Erm Gina' The woman spoke quietly, tucking on the woman's arm for her to turn around.

'We're both married okay, we're not interested' The woman said bluntly, linking her arm through the brunettes as she turned around.

'Emma?' Regina asked, squinting her eyes to get a better view. Her smile beamed.

'Regina.' Emma nodded with a warm smile. 'I'm not here to Uh, have fun. Just to offer you both a ride home?' Emma smirked and then softened to a more genuine look.

'Oh no Emma please, you've just finished work go home!' Regina moaned, trying to be polite.

'Fuck yes. My feet are killing me I need to go home' The woman cried letting go of Regina and approaching Emma awaiting directions for her car but then continued along the path alone in her own drunken trance.

Emma smiled and looked back at Regina.

'What do you say?'

'Well, Do I have a choice Miss Swan?'

Emma waited in her but outside of the small cottage like house where she had dropped Regina and her friend. The brunette told Emma she would only be a minute and not to bother herself with getting out to help. She'd done this a hundred times before.

Emma tapped her fingers on the steering wheel as she waited, watching out into the night. She saw the glow from the hallway in the corner of her eye as the front door opened and gently closed. She glanced quickly and the brunette who was hurting her way back to Emma. She looked away quickly before she got caught.

'All good?' Emma asked as the brunette climbed into the passenger seat and pulled on her seat belt.

Emma tried to hide the fact she breathed in a little deeper when the woman's perfume engulfed her little car.

'Yes! Water, tablets, bed. She should be fine' Regina smirked as Emma pulled away from the quiet, dark street.

'So where to?' Emma asked not taking her eyes off the road. She could feel her heart beating faster by the minute. Why was she feeling like this? Like she was 16 again in high school with her first proper crush. She didn't know what it was about the woman that enticed the blonde, but every-time she got the chance to be in a situation with her, she took it.

'Mifflin street, the next left' Regina said softly as she raised her finger to direct the blonde.

'Should've guessed you'd own a big house' Emma laughed, leaning forward a little over the steering wheel to get a better view of where she was.

'What does that mean?' Regina asked, raising a perfectly plucked eyebrow.

Emma's face burned red, she was thankful for the darkness in the car for masking her embarrassment from the woman beside her.

'I just mean, you're...posh' Emma tried to explain.

Regina stayed silent for a moment and then burst into a rich, full laughter that filled the air around them. Emma turned and looked at the brunette in surprise for the first time since she got in the car.

'What?' Emma asked.

'You have no idea Miss Swan' Regina giggled before making a signal for Emma to pull up where she was.

'This is me' Regina sighed as she pulled her coat tighter around her chest ready to embrace the cold. 'Thank you so much for this Emma. I really appreciate the lift'.

'Hey of course. It's practically on my way home' Emma smiled, watching the brunette as she felt her dark eyes scanning her face for something. She wasn't quite sure what.

'Well...I'll see you next week' Regina smiled softly before stepping out of the car and turning on her heels to head to the drivers side of the car to enter her drive way.

As she got to her dark iron gate, surrounded but tall bushy trees, she heard the sliding of the car window behind her and the blonde call out her name.

'Maybe we could go for coffee again soon?...if you want to?' Emma called quietly after her from the driver seat of her bug. She expected to be burned but instead the brunette beamed a smile at her and nodded. She grabbed her phone from her pocket and wiggled it to Emma. The blonde nodded before resting her chin in her hand and watching the brunette disappear behind the big white door to her huge home.

Regina fluttered her eyes open to the sound of a little voice babbling next to her. She glanced behind her to see the morning sunrise shining through the curtains and onto a pair of perfectly soft toes resting on a perfectly bold chest.

'Morning mummy' Robin said softly in a sweet voice as he raised Henry off of him and onto Regina.

'Oh good morning' Regina smiled softly, placing a kiss onto her sons forehead. He beamed his own smile back at his mother before clumsily rubbing his big brown eyes and gently pushing his way down onto his mother's chest where he listened to her heart beat and gently drifted off.

'Didn't you want to work today?' Regina whispered to her husband who was laying beside her watching the two cuddle.

'I thought we might have the day together instead, as a family' Robin smiled, gently caressing the woman's thigh under her silky night dress.

'Is that because you miss us or because you miss that' Regina asked, diverting her eyes down between her own legs before looking back into her daring husbands eyes.

'You know I miss you' He moaned leaning in, placing small, wet kisses down her neck. Being gently enough to avoid waking Henry again.

Regina quickly removed herself from the sheets, keeping Henry firmly to her chest before slipping into her slippers.

'I'll put Henry down and then I'll make breakfast.' Regina said quickly before making an exit for Henry's nursery.

Regina began cracking eggs into the pan, mixing it with butter and a splash of milk. She popped the toast down and continued to push the egg round the pan until she felt a paid of strong hands around her waist, a hard lump in her bum and lips on her neck.

'Come on Gina, let's have the day together' He moaned into the brunettes hair.

'I can't, I have plans' Regina sighed, focusing on the task at hand instead of her husbands wondering hands that she was slowly but surely becoming sick of.

'Plans? With who?' He asked, taken back and dropping his hands from her waist, seeming as though he'd been betrayed.

Regina explained as she dished the mans breakfast onto his designated plate and poured a mug of coffee for herself before turning and leaning on the side, enjoying the warmth around her fingers.

Regina pulled her black, shiny Mercedes into the first available space and switched off the engine. She looked over the back to check on her sleeping son snuggled up in his car seat. She smiled. Quickly gathering her things, she climbed out of the car and rounded it to her sons side where she unstrapped his seat and removed it.

She headed towards the huge, blue building excited for her session. Well, Henry's session. She had been taking him to the Aqua centre for three weeks now, behind Robins back because he disapproved of the idea of his small child in a deep hole full of cold water. Regina had reasoned with him, trying to explain the benefits of Henry learning to swim earlier rather than later but he had none of it. Still, Regina didn't care. She wanted her son to enjoy himself but to also not be a child that can't leave his parents side until he is 30.

'Good morning Regina! Hello Henry' A polite lady smiled coming up to Regina and quickly brushing a finger across the sleeping boys face.

'Morning' the brunette returned before booking Henry in and heading to the changing rooms.

Henry's eyes began to flutter when his mother moved him from his seat and onto the small baby changing unit in one of the bigger changing stalls.

'Hello baby' Regina beamed down at him as she rubbed his small pot belly before removing his baby grow and nappy for a more something more waterproof. She slipped his little legs into his bright green swimming suit and zipped it up his chest. She quickly gave Henry a bottle of pre made juice from home before turning and pulling on her own suit.

Emma pulled down her sports bra and positioned it comfortably on her chest before heading into the gym. She nodded to the polite lady at the reception who smiled and waved. Today wasn't the day for small talk. After seeing the brunette the other night in the bar and then taking her home, she could stop thinking about her. She knew the gym distracted her better than most things so she decided she would work out and try to brush it off.

Emma pressed the green button to turn on the treadmill and she began a slow jog. She pushed her earbuds in and started her custom playlist. She felt her legs begin to burn when she hit the 30 minute mark and decided to push it more. She glanced down through the ceiling to floor window that gave the gym goers an open look at the pool below. She watched as she ran. Babies everywhere with their mums and dads, learning to swim. Emma didn't pay much more attention until she spotted the familiar face on the pool side holding a small child.

Emma sighed.

She just couldn't get away from her.
