Valery suddenly appeared beside Peggy.
The British Agent glanced at her colleague before returning her gaze to Rogers. "Would you like me to introduce you?"
"No."
"You are hurt." Peggy noticed. "You cannot blame him for what happened."
"I don't blame him. I simply wish to ensure that this was not all for naught."
"Come meet him, Valery. You cannot treat him like a laboratory experiment. He received a piece of you."
"I am aware. I can feel it, even at this distance."
Peggy quickly turned to her. "What does it feel like?"
"It feels like he does not want all of these needles poking into him."
"Can you feel Schmidt?"
"Not anymore."
Peggy considered the statement for a moment. "Promise me you will meet him. Someday."
"I promise."
