Hi guys! I'm back! Sorry about the long wait, I actually just got a new job (I work at Starbucks now!) and my boss has been giving me endless shifts xD. Anyways enough about me, here's the long-awaited chapter!

~Loki's POV~

They arrive in Loki's old quarters. Loki stops moving for a second, old memories rushing through his head. Though a pained whimper halts his thoughts and spurs him into motion. He lays Peter down gently on the bed trying not to jostle the boy too much. Still the gentle movements made Peter wince and try to curl up into a protective ball. Loki gently makes Peter lay on his back again murmuring words of comfort. "Spider child it's okay… calm down you are safe son…" He mumbles and he ran a comforting hand through the boy's hair.

"Father get some bandages, Thor gather some warriors, we have to pay a certain someone a visit and Mother help me with Pete please" He finishes quietly not for a moment taking his eyes off of his son. Without any fight everyone went on their tasks, seeing how Loki was entering his protective father mode. It would be stupid to fight him. His mother stood on the other side of the bed and ran her hands over the boy. They were glowing a warm gold.

"Loki his leg is broken, and he has a twisted ankle… you handle that I'll take care of the rest." She was worried about the blood trickling from the young boy's mouth. Loki moves to his son's leg and gently but efficiently mends the bone. Earning a pained moan from the boy, but Peter remained unconscious. He wrapped the ankle tight enough but not too tight and then watched his mother tend to the internal injuries.

"Why is he after Peter mother" Loki asks after moments of silence. His mothers movements stills for a moment before returning to work with a sigh.

"I don't know dear… you know how Jokul is with things you care about" She says quietly. After a few more moments of silence she laid back with a huff. "Finished.. He will heal, once he wakes up he'll be as good as new" She smiles and stands up walking around the bed to her son. Placing a hand on his shoulder she squeezes comfortingly. "Stay with him, he'd want someone here when he wakes" She waits for an answer and Loki nods quietly. She smiles and leaves the room, quietly closing the door behind her.

~Peter's POV~

He groaned quietly and his eyes cracked open quietly. He noticed immediately the room he was in was dark. He sits up with a small wince and notices he is back in his human form. He must have changed back when he passed out, he thought. He tried to remember what happened then gasped quietly. He looked around the room and then immediately noticed his father sleeping in a chair next to his bed. He smiled quietly and crawled to the edge of the bed and poked Loki's shoulder. "Father?" After no response he poked him even harder and repeated the name. That did the trick and jostled Loki out of his slumber. Dazed, the god jumped up and his daggers materialized into his hand. Ready to fight whatever threat woke him up.

Peter laughed and looked up at Loki. "Dad, it's okay" Peter laughed again as Loki's eyes widened when he heard him. The daggers disappeared and he looked at his son.

"I should be the one telling you that…" Loki mumbled and sat back down. "How are you Peter?" He asks after a few moments of silence.

"I'm feeling great!" Peter smiles and stands up off the bed. Looking out the window of the vast room he was in he saw the gardens. "Hey where's Inga? Is she okay?"

"Inga?" Loki asks, confused then realises who his son meant. His eyes dimmed slightly and he smiled gently. "She's okay Peter… but she.. She saw you in your Frost form" Loki trailed off quietly. Peter stumbled a bit at the revelation and looked at the ground.

"How did she react?" Peter said quietly, an edge of sadness creeping into his voice. Loki noticed and felt pity for his son. He didn't want him to feel how he did. He wanted to protect Peter from that, though he knew that was impossible.

"Not great" Loki says eventually. "She ran off Peter… but it's okay she just needs to process things," Loki says and stands up suddenly as Peter runs out of the room. "Peter, wait! Peter!" He ran to the door and looked down the hall. He cursed to himself when he saw no sign of his son. He only hoped he would stay in the palace where it was safe for him.

~With Peter~

He was running blindly down the halls. Why did that have to happen? The only person he met around his age was terrified of him. He stumbles out into the gardens again and sits down next to the fountain. He sighs and lets out a quiet sob. He stayed there pitying himself for what he thought was hours before he heard a cackle fill the air. He stood up quickly and looked around frantically. "Anyone there?" He yells and steps away from the fountain and notices a boy bolt from one bush to another. He noted the snow-white hair and blue Asgardian leather. "Wh-who's there! Answer me!" He yells now slightly scared.

The only answer was another laugh before he felt the air around him turn cold. He shivered slightly and was about to switch his form before the person spoke. "I wouldn't do that if I were you… it would surely hurt you very much" the mysterious boy giggled and stepped out into the open. Peter could now see this was a kid about his age. He had white hair, blue eyes, and blue Asgardian leather. He wore no shoes either which Peter found strange.

"It hurts to feel rejected because of things you don't control, no?" The nameless boy says grinning ear to ear. Peter frowned and said nothing. The boy laughed and shrugged. "No matter, no one will ever accept you Peter, not Odin, not Frigga… not even… Loki. You're human, you are mortal, you are weak compared to us. You'll never be loved"

Peter glares at the boy and finally speaks. "Who are you to tell me this? Loki cares about me as any father would. He doesn't care that I have a mortal lifespan. I don't even know you either! How can you speak of me as if you know me?" Peter starts to walk away, the cold was getting to him and he wanted to get back to his room. But he was stopped by a wall of ice and snow. He stumbled backwards narrowly missing the wall and falling on his back. The boy laughed and walked up to Peter and knelt down, leaning into his face. He shivered and tried to move away but found his limbs were too heavy to move. It was cold. His teeth chattered and he squirmed underneath the boy's gaze.

"My name is Jokul Frosti… in Midgard you'd know me as Jack Frost.." Jokul grins and grabs Peter's hair and drags him up towards the fountain. Waving a hand at the water it turned solid except for a small opening. "And I don't like things that mess with Loki's head" Jokul snarls before throwing Peter into the hole. He lets out a yell as the freezing water wrapped around him. He sank and tried to swim up to the opening but found that it was frozen over. Jokul is trying to kill him. Peter's panic setted in and he started to thrash underwater. His lungs were burning with the need of air. He gasps only to get a mouthful of water in his lungs. He hits the ice trapping him under and lets out a gargled yell as he swallows more water. He saw a blurry shape of someone appear over top of him just as his gaze was darkening around the edges. He heard the ice crack then nothing as he began to float limply in the water.

~With Inga~

She heard the scream before she started to run. She knew that scream, it was Peter. She panics as she enters the opening with the fountain frozen over. This had Jokul written all over it. Looking around she didn't see the frost spirit so she rushed towards the ice. She freezes once she notices Peter was stuck under the ice, she lets out a whimper of fear for him and starts to break the ice. She hits the ice harder as she notices Peter stopped struggling. He did nothing to deserve this! Once the ice broke she dived in and pulled him out of the water and onto land. She slapped his face a couple of times, tears staining her face. "Peter, wake up! Peter, please don't do this!" She cries and hits the boy's chest, her pleas never stopping. After a couple of moments she lays on the still boy's chest and cries softly. If she was looking up at Peter she'd notice him coughing weakly and waking up. Still crying she yelped as she felt arms wrap around her. Looking up she let out a cry of relief before kissing Peter. Peter's eyes widened and kissed her back. After a while, they broke apart for air and smiled.

"D-don't do that again" Inga trembles out as Peter sat up. He looks at her softly before rasping out.

"P-promise" He says and hugs her tightly. She leans into his embrace finding comfort in it as the sun rises with a new day.

So honestly, I didn't see this turn of events but it works o.o

Here are some things to think about…

Why is Jokul so angry about Peter's appearance in Asgard?

Will Peter take the words Jokul told him to heart?

Anyways, as always!
